Howleen Wolf was rummaging through her locker.
"What you looking for?" someone sneered behind her.
Howleen would know that voice anywhere. "Leave me alone Torelai."
The next thing she knew, she was on the floor. Purrsephone and Meowlody were pawing through her locker and Torelai was glaring down at her. It was just the four of them in the hallway.
"Get out of my locker!" Howleen snapped.
"Give me your backpack" Torelai snarled.
Howleen was starting to get scared. It was her against three ghouls who were much bigger than she was. She still tried her best to look and sound brave.
"No."
Torelai growled and snapped her fingers. Howleen felt a stabbing pain in her ribs and saw Purrsephone dangling her backpack over her.
Tears betrayed Howleen.
"Aww" Torelai cooed mockingly. "Poor little puppy. What are you going to do? What are you going to do?"
The floor started to feel cold beneath Howleen and the three werecats slipped. Howleen turned to see her pale blue girlfriend standing at the end of the hallway. Abbey Bominable walked over to them slowly, anger seeping through her every pore.
"Howleen is not little puppy. She is strong ghoul. She will do nothing because she has done nothing. You will run unless before I turn you into furry popsicles."
The three werecats whimpered. Purrsephone dropped Howleen's backpack.
"Don't just drop her backpack on floor" Abbey snapped. "Give it back to her and say sorry."
Purrsephone gave Howleen her backpack and mumbled an apology.
Abbey stomped her foot. "Give real apology!"
"Abbey please" Howleen said. "I'll take what I can get."
Abbey held the young wolf's hands and pulled her to her feet. "I can get you better."
Howleen smiled. "I know. But you don't have to."
Abbey smiled and kissed her on the forehead. "If you insist."
"RWWWWWWWWWRRRR!"
The young couple looked up. The werecats were trying to escape but couldn't stand on the ice.
Abbey chuckled. "This is highly amusing."
Howleen nodded in agreement. "Want to stay and watch? Y'know, until they figure it out."
"That could take hours. We would have to hold each other close for warmth."
"I'm down" Howleen said, resting her head on Abbey's shoulder as the three cats yowled and hissed.
