So, I want to start this by thanking everyone for their support despite how long it's been since I've touched this. I want to address a few things in this note:
1. Spelling and Terminology
The reason I have things written here such as "Sorcery Emperor" instead of "Wizard King" is because I started writing on Microsoft Word a bit under a year after the manga first started releasing in Japan, so I had pretty limited translations to work with. If it was available with official English translations around January 2016 online, then my bad, I didn't see them. I had very rough translations to work with, and the characters in Japanese used for Wizard King can be instead translated to English as, well, Sorcery Emperor. Similarly, now that I understand Japanese a bit better I'm not entirely sure why the translations I read said "Black Sheep's Crook" instead of "Black Bulls," but that can again be blamed on where I was reading the manga at the time. This also goes for the spelling of names such as "Zeke" instead of "Sekke" and "Vanjan" instead of "Vangeance." I know better now but I haven't touched this story in a little over three years so I never corrected it.
2. Updates
The reason I stopped updating was because I moved, got caught up in getting used to the new environment, and slowly fell out of Black Clover and this story. And by the time I'd settled, I lost motivation for BC:THC. The way I write has changed a lot these past three years and every time I tried revisiting this fanfiction, the wording, pacing, so on and so forth did bother me, but I could never bring myself to just go through it again and edit it. That's why I'm here now. Overall I'm not a huge fan of this story. I liked it back then and I'm attached to it, but I really can't say it does me much justice given what I can do now. And now that I've finally have a good chunk of time to get back into the manga - it's been a solid 3-4 years, after all - I've regained some drive.
3. Plot
Now that I know more about the world of Black Clover, I want to rewrite and rearrange some things. I did actually like the skeleton and base of what I was doing so the premise is fine, but there's smaller things I'd want to change.
So now I wanted to know what the majority who still pay attention to this story want: (1) An entirely separate rewrite, (2) me to replace previous chapters, or (3) just keep going with this and try to straighten things out? I'd prefer not the third one but I understand there's probably going to be at least a few people who'd prefer that.
