Naruto Of The Uchiha
A Loss
Itachi looked at the Raikage just standing there.. Unfazed by the appearance of the two. Well now just he stood there, as Kakashi was pursued by three.
"You know your friend's as good as dead right?"
"I wouldn't doubt Kakashi if I were you."
"You really think he can take on my brother, Darui who is my right hand, and Kurotsuchi of Iwa who was next in line for Tsuchikage?" Ay said as he cracked his neck.
"He's got some tricks. Your brother will be an issue but he won't be alone."
"Oh? You think you'll beat me and get to join the Copy Ninja?" Itachi just looked at him without moving. In any moment, things could kick off. "Who are you under that mask?" Again there was no answer. "FINE! I'LL FIND OUT MYSELF!"
Ay charged up a lightning cloak and charged Itachi. He sent a punch to his face and Itachi sidestepped and tried to turn to his left to dodge. Ay's fist made contact with some of the mask but it mostly grazed it.
Itachi's eyes widened as he realized the speed difference between the two of them. He had barely gotten out of it's way. Something made him freeze up however as he heard and felt his porcelain mask crack and start to break.
Ay smirked. "Let's see who the Wolf is." As if on cue, the mask finally broke and revealed half of his face. "Ah...Itachi Uchiha. What are you doing still in Konoha?"
Itachi's face got serious. His identity was put now. Now he didn't need to fight differently and could be himself. His eyes changed into the Sharingan and he instantly went through a couple handsigns and sent a large fireball straight at the Raikage.
Ay dodged but was quickly met with a shower of mini fireballs that had shuriken within them, coming right at him. He quickly moved to the opposite side of the room before charging the Uchiha. He ran and punched his fist through Itachi's chest and tackled him over the edge and sent them into the courtyard.
He smirked as he landed with on the Uchiha with his fist through his chest. Blood dripped from Itachi's mouth as he looked at Ay. He brought his hand up to Ay before pointing to the left. When Ay looked, a Fireball was headed straight to him. He looked back down and Itachi dispered into crows.
Ay charged through the flames and reached Itachi. He noticed that the Uchiha seemed to still be calm as he went to punch him. Itachi brought a kunai up in a reverse grip and blocked the punch from Ay.
He swung the kunai downwards which made Ay stumble that way since his full weight was sent into the punch. Using this, Itachi went to slash at the Raikage but the speed of the man proved to be an annoyance as he managed to block just in time. Itachi spun another kunai with his other hand and went to stab the Raikage but his wrist was caught.
Ay then flung Itachi over him and slammed him into the ground. He went to punch Itachi, just for him glow then blow up. Ay got sent flying from the explosion and was met by a fireball as he landed.
Ay began to cough as he stood back up. "Damn. You really are a powerful shinobi. Deserving of your rank as an S class."
Itachi just gave him an impassive gaze. This wouldn't be enough to beat the Raikage. He'd need to step it up but that would be a risk since he may not have much chakra left to try to help Kakashi.
"You don't speak much. Why's that?"
"How do you see this ending?"
"What?"
"Do you really think that you beat Konoha by the end of this?"
"The goals of my village, my father and myself will become reality."
"Reality...that's different from person to person. It is merely what one believes to be right and true. That is what they define as reality. What's to say yours comes true? What's to say that this is reality?"
"What are you talking about?"
Itachi spoke no more as he charged at Ay with a sword and spun into a slash.
Kakashi
"Yo, you got nowhere left to go. Might as well give up bro."
Kakashi stooped running as Bee managed to cut him off. He looked back and saw Darui and Kurotsuchi both land behind him.
"You really thought you could blow the room up and get away?" Kurotsuchi said.
"No."
"Damn. This was your plan. To get us away from the boss. How dull." Darui sighed as he dodged a kunai that was flung at his head. "Guess we're getting started."
He charged Kakashi with his massive cleaver and sent a slash that was ducked under and took a punch to the gut. Kurotsuchi jumped into the fold and sent a spinning kick at Kakashi which was caught and thrown away, at the same time he narrowly dodged a sword chop from Bee. This was going to get rough.
He lift his headband revealing the three tomoed Sharingan. It glowed with the full power of his visual prowess. The eye that copied over a thousand Jutsu. The eye that made him famous and feared.
"How dull...we have to face the Sharingan..." Darui said and sighed.
"Don't look to the eye, if you do, it's goodbye." Bee said and spun around as all his all seven swords were unsheathed.
"Damn...this will get really rough since he's going all out." Kakashi thought as he analyzed his enemies.
Bee was by far the most powerful opponent he'd ever faced. Second only to Naruto, but they never went to kill. Although that outcome was obvious. Kurotsuchi was the weakest of the three but she was no pushover. Darui was the smartest but also held black lightning and storm release. He may not look it, but Darui was really dangerous.
He lowered his stance and went through a couple hand signs unleashing a fireball at them. When the fire cleared, he was nowhere to be seen. They were confused until Kurotsuchi was dragged into the ground with only her head being exposed. Before he could kill her, Bee came to the rescue and he had to get away. The trap didn't last long because she herself was an earth user and broke out of it.
Kakashi narrowed his eyes at Bee and was blocking his onslaught of attacks as best he could. With each strike, Bee was getting faster and stronger. Every spin and flip was harder and faster than the previous. He was beginning to get strained but the spars with Naruto who was the epitome of speed was paying off.
Suddenly he was getting too fast and tracking the seven swords got really hard as his Sharingan eye glanced around wildly and widened suddenly when an attack slipped through. He got kicked in the chin sending his head up. He went airborne upwards slightly and then he winced at a strange pain he hadn't experienced in a long time...
Itachi vs AyAy charged Itachi and sent a punch at him. He narrowly dodged. It didn't look like he could really perceive Ay well and he was smirking because of it. He went for another attack, ramping his speed up and smiled when he thought that there was no escape this time. This should be more than enough speed to get Itachi. Based on the fight, there was no way he could keep up.
Itachi looked frozen in place like he wasn't comprehending Ay's movements, this made him smile even wider. Just as he got two inches away, his eyes went wide, as Itachi sidestepped away to his right and stabbed a kunai into his tricep. It punctured a cluster of nerves and his right arm went limp.
"H-HOW? HOW DID YOU COUNTER? YOU'VE BEEN HAVING TROUBLE KEEP UP THUS FAR!"
Itachi showed no emotion. "Do you really think you surpass Naruto? You must be really dreaming to think so. Even on his death bed, you couldn't out do him. I've trained and fought him his whole life, you really thought you were too fast? You could never reach his top speed...now...it's over. I guess your reality was never real..."
"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?"
Itachi's Sharingan began spinning and morphed to a curved three bladed shuriken. "Amaterasu." he said and watched as Ay's right hand up to the wrist was covered in black flames before he himself dispered in a flock of crows and left base.
"Just hold on a little longer, Kakashi. I'll be there in a bit."
Kakashi
Dropping to his knees, he had a sword through the stomach. Kakashi grunted in pain and reached to the blade as it got plunged deeper into him. Bee ripped the sword from him and Kakashi groaned as he dropped face first to the ground.
"That was faster than I expected..." Kurotsuchi said. "Really...what was so special about this guy?"
"Don't act stupid. If it wasn't for Bee, he would have killed you. The only reason it is over this fast is because of him." Darui said as he turned away.
Everyone began to walk away as blood began to pool around Kakashi. His eyes began to close slowly as his consciousness and life was fading away. Flashes of Minato, Obito, Rin came to mind. He would see them again soon. His father and his smile came next. He could finally tell him that he had forgiven him, and no longer had hated him for his choice. Just as he was fading to black, Shisui, and Naruto came to mind. He opened his eyes slightly at that and more memories came to mind.
He slowly began to push himself up off the ground and looked at the three walking away. He still could fight, he had enough in him to push one last time. He stood up and was breathing heavily from the pain of being stabbed in the stomach. He went through a couple hand signs and gripped his right wrist. A blue orb of lightning sparked to life and began chirping.
This got the attention of the three shinobi and they turned around to see Kakashi standing and his hand of lighting chakra was raised to be level with his color. The glow of blue with the Sharingan in the night looked terrifying. The chirping went quiet and the blue lightning surrounded his entire hand. "Raikiri." He said quietly as he charged. In an instant he stabbed through Kurotsuchi's chest where her heart is and all the way through her back. Her eyes were wide and she didn't even scream in pain, she died in an instant.
He pulled back and lunged again but towards Darui. Darui was still too shocked and couldn't move in time. He felt the lightning hitting his chest and it shocked through his body but it never penatrated. He looked and saw that Kakashi was stabbed through the back and through the heart by a sword.
The flow of chakra stopped and the lightning died down. Only his hand was there and Kakashi exhaled the air in his lungs and slowly fell to his knees. Darui survived by a mere inch.
"KAKASHI!"
Darui and Bee turned to see Itachi coming at them from the direction of the base. Bee pulled his sword out of Kakashi and let him drop to the ground again, lying on his back as the rain dropped on his face.
Bee and Darui had the same worries about Ay. If Itachi was here, then what happened to Ay. They were shocked to see it was Itachi, but the main thought at the moment was of Ay. They immediately fled the area with a Shunshin and Itachi came to Kakashi's side.
He dropped to his knees and leaned over him, trying to cover the wounds he worked hastily to try to find a way to save Kakashi.
"S-stop..." Kakashi said weakly as he opened his eyes to see Kakashi look down at him. He wasn't showing his emotions on his face but his eyes gave it away. The eyes always give everything away.
"K-Kakashi..."
"It's ok...Itachi..." He chuckled weakly. It was ironic that it would be him.
Ofcourse it would be him. There was just no one else that could be able to defeat Naruto everytime, to place those Genjutsus on the guards. It explained why he cared so much about Naruto.
"I didn't want this. This was why I wanted to come alone!"
Again he chuckled weakly. "Listen to your own advice, Itachi. Rely on others...if you'd come alone, it would be you lying here."
"And? I knew the risk."
"So did *cough* I...he will need you. He no longer needs me. I've done all I could...Tell him...for me?"
Itachi let a tear drop and nodded. "I will...Kakashi...I'm sorry."
"Not...your fault. Continue to take care of him...and Sasuki...like you always have." Itachi nodded "Sorry...for ever..doubting you...I was your Captain, and even then...saw you as a traitor...Goodluck...Itachi."
"No no! No! Kakashi! Stay awake. Come on! Hang in there!" Itachi slammed his fist into the ground. "DAMN IT! EVERYTIME!" Itachi looked to the sky and screamed in anger and sadness. He always watched everyone he cared about die and couldn't do a thing. For all his genius, he was powerless to save his friends.
Looking back down to Kakashi, he brought his hand to his eyelids and closed them for him. Letting him rest. He picked Kakashi's lifeless body up and left to return to the cave.
When he returned a few hours later, he walked through the entrance and was given shocked looks. In his arms was a dead, blood covered Kakashi. He too looked pretty bad but they also were surprised to see none other than Itachi Uchiha. What was he doing?
"YOU KILLED HIM! DIDN'T YOU?" a Konoha nin said. "JUST LIKE YOU DID YOUR CLAN!"
People began to get into a stance and Itachi was getting angered. "ENOUGH! GET OUT OF THE WAY!" He glared at them all with his Sharingan activated.
They took a step back and didn't know what to do. Here he was, Itachi, S rank missing nin and the one to slaughter his clan. Here was the traitor of Konoha and they were conflicted on whether to kill him or leave him be.
Itachi set Kakashi down on a bed and took a kunai out. He placed it on his chest and moved Kakashi's hands to where they overlapped on the handle. Standing over him in silence, only one thing brought him out of his thoughts.
"ITACHI!" Sasuki called out from the opening of the room his was in.
Hey y'all, short chapter, I know. Honestly I could never be satisfied with it and kept rewriting it repeatedly. This was how I finally felt ok with it. The main thing that also took longer was that I've just been busy from work and other things. Next chapter will definitely be longer than this one, so don't worry about that. I just didn't want to get into the next stages here with this one.
I found it funny that you only worried about Itachi. Man...I never planned for his death in this chapter haha. I even eluded to Kakashi in the past, but hey guess Itachi matters more then? Haha I don't know what y'all think. But yeah...Kakashi died. If only he'd be the last.
Yes it sounds odd to say don't rely on your bloodline but when you look at a lot of Uchiha or any Kekkei Genkai user, they immediately become garbo if they can't use said ability...in most cases.
