Chapter 29 Jenny's leg surgery

Cubbys POV

As Laquan was crying on the couch, I walked up to him.

"Hey you okay?" I asked him.

"No, my girlfriend broke up with me." Laquan said to me.

"Oh I'm sorry that happened, but you'll find your soulmate." I said to him.

"Yeah, but who am I going to find? And spend my life with?" Laquan asked me.

"Well, you can always go on dating sites." I suggested to him.

" Is that how you found Stormy?" Laquan asked me as I laughed a bit.

" No, but that wa a good one though." I said to him while I continued to laugh.

"But, anyway you will find that someone. I sure did." I said to him as Laquan picked me up and hugged me.

"Aww coconuts." I said to hm as I hugged him back.

Jenny's POV

As a doctor came in my hospital room, he placed a net over my hair, since I was getting surgery done on my leg.

"Laquan, I'm going for my leg surgery, but I'm nervous." I said to him as he came out of the bathroom.

"Jen, I'm sure you'll do fine." Laquan said to me.

"Yeah but..." I said to him.

"Jenny Grey, you are way too important to me, I know your surgery will go will." Laquan said to me as he gave me a kiss on the cheek like a big brother.

"Oh, Laquan, thanks!" I said to him as the doctor took me to the hallway and straight to the operating room.

"Wow Laquan kissed me. Maybe he does have feelings for me. What am I saying? I can't be been in love with him he's only 20 years old. Besides I already have a boyfriend." I sad to myself as I didn't notice I was already on the operating table inside the operating room.

" Oh I'm already here. Oh well let's get this over with. Knock me out doc." I said to him as he placed the mask on my face with anesthesia as a knocked me out already.

Doctor's POV

As we placed three blue sheets over Jenny, we started the places an IV into her hand, then we inserted a tube into her mouth as we connected the tube to the machines as we started to tape the tube to her mouth. After that, we the places two tubes into her nose as we then insert the catheter in her. As we took off her cast from her leg, we started to clean the area that we're going to operate on as we started the surgery.

Jake's POV

As we were waiting in the waiting room, I had to know how long Jenny's leg surgery was going to be.

"So, how long is jenny's leg surgery Laquan?" Izzy asked him

"Fourteen hours." Laquan said to her.

"Wow, and I thought eight hours was bad enough to be in an operating room." Izzy said in shock.

"Cubby, go buy Jenny a get well gift." I said to him.

"But I don't have any money." Cubby said to him as I gave him some money as he then left.

"Here you go Laquan Izzy and want you to come to Cubby's birthday party." I said to him.

"I'll be there, and I'm looking forward to it." Laquan said to me as we smiled.

" Don't say anything about Cubby's surprised birthday party." I said to him.

"Don't worry I promise, I won't say a word no matter how excited I am." Laquan said to him.

As Laquan immediately put the invitation in his bag, Cubby came back with Jenny's get well soon present. and it was a Catboy stuffed toy.

"Cubby, Jenny's not into those." I said to him.

"I can try and get her to watch it, and that she will love stuffed toy." Cubby said to me.

Doctor's POV

As we were operating on Jenny's leg, there was a lot of blood.

Izzy's POV

As we were still waiting for jenny's leg surgery to be done, I realized something.

"Hey guys I just realized something, we can view Jenny's surgery from watching it, behind a window." I said to them.

"Izzy, are you sure? Because you have a fear of surgeries." I asked her.

" Yes because I want to be your brave for her." I said to him as Laquan, Jake and I went to go watch Jenny's surgery in action while Cubby stayed back with baby Jay and Princess.

As we were watching Jenny's surgery live, we can see blood all over her leg and the surgeons operating on it. we could also see the tube in her mouth and heart her heart monitor but we couldn't see her since the blue sheets are over her. but we did see her leg.

Hours passed, as we were still watching Jenny's surgery has Jake was proud of me managing to get through it. but, as I begin to remember my surgery on my leg, I start to run out of the room and Jake starts to chase me.

Laquan's POV

As it stayed, I continued to watch Jenny's surgery I could see the surgeons taking bones out of her leg and blood all over.

Jake's POV

meanwhile I ran after Izzy into the waiting room as she was crying.

"Izzy what's wrong?" I asked her.

"I just couldn't watch Jenny's surgery anymore as it just brought back nightmares about my surgery on that leg. when I was going into surgery, and singing all of the surgical tools on the operating table. I remember panicking about waking up during it. I also remember about how the surgical masks make me really scared to look at them." Izzy said to me as I hugged her and decided that it was best for all of us to go home. so we did.

Laquan's POV

as I was still watching Jenny's surgery, I realized that it was late so I decided to go home.

Doctor's POV

as we were stitching up Johnny's leg and turning the lights on, we then place her into the hospital bed and covering her up with her blanket we kept the tubes in her body, mouth, and nose. we also kept the ID in her hands, and the catheter bag in. As we took her out of the operating room and into the recovery room, we then placed her bed against the wall. As we then started to Chuck her tubes, we couldn't really take out your tubes because she might have trouble breathing.

Jenny's POV

once I started to wake up, I tried to speak but a tube was in my mouth.

"Ms. Grey, if we take the tube out, you might have trouble breathing." the nurse said to me.

As they change the tubes in my nose over to a feeding tube, I motioned them if I can use the restroom.

"You actually have a catheter bag in you, Ms. Grey." the nurse said to me as I started to fall back asleep while they are changing my catheter bag to a new one.
