The rangers have finally arrived at the spire. The power that they're seeking is just in front of them. However, right when it seems like they made it, something stops them. Four rock creatures come to life and stand between them and the power.

"Now what do we do?" Sierra said.

"The only thing we can do, what we always do." Travis said. "We fight." When he said that, the other rangers were ready and stood brave in front of these creatures. "The power we're looking for is just ahead of us. We've just got to get pass these guys." All of them stood with him. If they can just get pass those four rock creatures, they're in the clear. All of the rangers charged right in and went on the attack. The rangers fought off the rock creatures, but it wasn't easy without their powers. Valerie tried giving one a kick, but she could feel how tough it was.

"These things are made out of living rock." Valerie said.

"They're pretty strong too." Robby said. Even though they were tough, the rangers kept fighting. Joey jumped up on the rock wall as one chased after him. Sierra went up another side of the rock wall with another one going after her. Sierra tripped and the rock creature was about to strike her, but she moved away from the weapon and kicked it back as she made her way up. As for Joey, he tried his best to fight off one of the rock creatures. He made it all the way to the edge of a cliff with a large pond right beneath him.

"Oh man." Joey said as he did not like how far it was. The rock creature attacked him with a pair of twin blades. Joey was doing his best to fight it back.

"Hang tight, Joey." David said as he climbed up a vine. Joey moved around the rock creature as he tried to fight it off.

"Ever play leap frog?" Joey said. He moved around the rock creature again. That gave David an opening as he leaped right at the rock creature, but the creature tossed it off and David went over the edge. He grabbed a hold of a branch to keep him from falling.

"A little help here!" David called. The rock creature raised both of its blades to strike at David, but Joey acted quickly as he pushed off from the wall and used both of his legs to push the creature off the cliff and fall to the water.

"I've got you." Joey said as he grabbed David and pull him up. "Thanks for the help."

"No problem." David said. They looked down and saw the rock creature wasn't able to pull itself up. "It's a lot deeper than it looks. I guess it doesn't pay that well to be made out of rock."

"That's one down and three to go." Joey said. Abby tried fighting another one off on her own.

"Back off, rockhead." Abby said as she kicked it back, but it hit her with his arm and knocked her down. It raised it's spear to strike her, but Abby moved out of the way and took cover in a small opening, but she was trapped inside. The rock creature blocked the entrance and tried to get her out with its weapon. "Someone help!"

"Back off!" Valerie said as she kicked the creature in the back and tired to get it to move away from the opening. She got it's attention and it went at her as it tried to attack her, but Valerie was keeping her distance from it. It tossed it's spear at her, but Valerie moved out of the way. "Close one." As the others were fighting the other two, Sierra climbed up and took cover behind a boulder.

"Come on. Move." Sierra said as she tried to push the rock on top of the creature and cause a rock slide, but it was too heavy for her alone. The creature swung it's club at her and she took cover behind the rock.

"Hang on, Sierra!" Travis called as he swung on a vine and landed near her to kick the creature back. "You okay?"

"Yeah. They might be strong, but they don't seem to be too smart." Sierra said. "Help me move this thing."

"Got it." Travis said as he and Sierra pushed. Both of them were able to get the boulder to move and caused a rock slide. The creature got caught in it and ended up falling down with it buried under the rocks. "That's why they call it rock and roll."

"Two left. Come on. I've got an idea." Travis said and the two of them got moving. As for Robby, he was avoiding one and kicked it back.

"Time to get the higher ground." Robby said as he made for the trees and climbed up. The rock creature tried going after him and swung its axe at him, but just missed him. Joey came in for the save as he jumped in and kicked the creature right in the back.

"Come on. Come and get me." Joey said. The creature turned its attention to him and tried attacking him with Robby just staying out of reach. Joey looked around and spotted David and Valerie trying to fight off the other one off. That's when he got the idea as he carefully moved closer. "Come on. Try and hit me." The rock creature kept trying to attack him with Joey getting close enough.

"Got it!" David said as he and Valerie knocked their opponent back. The one Joey was fighting raised its axe and was about to strike him down, but Joey moved out of the way and split it's partner in half.

"Talk about a splitting headache." Joey said. He can joke, but the rock creature was unfazed that it was the last one. Joey, David, Abby, and Valerie tried working together to bring down the last one. As they were trying to fight it off, Travis and the others were up in the trees with a plan in action.

"Ready?!" Travis called to Sierra and Robby. Both of them were set as they each grabbed a vine. "Go!" Robby and Sierra swung down and they both landed a kick against the rock creature and pushed it back. Travis took his turn as he swung down fast and hard. He gave the rock creature a powerful kick. It was so strong that it was lifted off the ground. Travis jumped off and the creature was sent smashing into the entrance and hit the ground. It tried to get back up, but cracks formed and it crumbled to pieces.

"That's the last one." Valerie said.

"So what now? How do we get this power?" Robby said. As they were trying to wonder what was going on, the ground began to shake.

"What's happening?" Sierra said.

"Just try and stay together." Travis said. They tried to endure the shaking, but as the shaking was going on, they saw the entrance in the spire was opening up.

"It's opening." Joey said.

"There's something inside." Abby said. They saw it open up and they saw a pyramid inside with a gold circle on the front of it. The shaking stopped and they saw the pyramid move out on it's own.

"Is that it?" David asked.

"I think so." Valerie said.

"So what do we do now?" Robby said. It was at that moment that the circle on the pyramid glowed and released streams of light. All the streams went over to the rangers and circled around.

"What is this?" David asked.

"I think we're about to find out." Travis said. The streams of light circled around and entered their spirit animal medals. Each one of them was given a piece of the power and it caused them to morph. They've been given new power and have succeeded where others have failed.

"All right!" Abby said.

"We morphed!" David said.

"Our morphers are working and everything!" Robby said.

"We got the power!" Joey said.

"We actually did it!" Sierra said.

"This is unreal!" Valerie said.

"It's incredible." Travis said. Now that their morphers are working, perhaps their communicators are working as well as Travis gave it a shot. "Zultro? Can you hear me? Zultro?"

"Travis?" Zultro said and they were all glad to hear him and see everything was working again. "What is this? How are you able to communicate with us?"

"We did it, Zultro." Travis said. "We managed to get the power and when we did, our morphers and communicators started working."

"Excellent." Zultro said. "Rangers, you must hurry back to Angel Grove at once. Locore and his monster has unleashed another attack. Angel Grove is in real danger."

"Got it." Travis said.

"Hang in there, Angel Grove." Joey said.

"Help is on the way." David said. The rangers used their devices and were teleport as they headed back for Angel Grove. As they flew by, Oberous spotted them. He knew they succeeded the challenges and was able to obtain the power, but there is still Locore and he'll be a greater challenge than anything the rangers faced.

"Good luck, rangers." Oberous said.

...

Angel Grove

Angel Grove was in a state of panic because of Nebulos' attack. He might have stopped his attack on Locore's orders, but that gave the rangers the chance they needed.

"There is still no sign of them." Vyla said.

"Most precarious. I wonder where they would be." Zabaro said.

"I think it's pretty clear that the rangers have given up already." Dragight said. "They knew better than to stand against you, Master Locore."

"You think so?" Locore questioned. "What do you call that?" Locore pointed to the sky and they saw the rangers getting back in the city. "There they are. The Power Rangers." The seven of them teleported in the city, but when they did, they saw the destruction that went on.

"Yikes. Look at this place." Sierra said.

"I guess Locore's been busy while we were away." Travis said. They felt the ground shake and they looked ahead as they spotted Nebulos as a giant.

"About time you rangers, got here. You've kept me waiting and I don't like to wait." Nebulos said.

"We've been busy getting something just for you!" Robby said.

"I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm ready to see what we can do with this power." Joey said.

"I'm right with you on that." Abby said.

"Same here. Let's do it." Travis said. They all agreed and tapped into their new powers as they called upon it.

"We need spirit animal power now!" All of them called and called out to their own animals and the new power.

"Blue Lion! Spirit Animal Power!" Robby called. A new lion-zord made it's way through the streets as it roared.

"Pink Swan! Spirit Animal Power!" Sierra called. Her new zord was a swan with it flying over water and into the city.

"White Shark! Spirit Animal Power!" David called. His new zord was a great white shark that emerged out of the water and took to the air.

"Green Owl! Spirit Animal Power!" Valerie called. The new owl-zord flew down and through the buildings.

"Black Monkey! Spirit Animal Power!" Joey called. The new monkey-zord jumped around on the rooftops.

"Yellow Jaguar! Spirit Animal Power!" Abby called. Her new zord was a jagura running and roaring through the city's streets.

"Red Eagle! Spirit Animal Power!" Travis called. His new zord flew down in front of the sun and through the clouds with it diving right down. All of them hopped in their new zords, new zords they were given thanks to this power.

"What is this?!" Vyla said. "They've never had those zords before! Where did they even get them?!"

"Is this why they've been late? Have they been trying to get the new zords on them the whole time?" Zabaro said.

"Well, let's see what these new zords can do." Locore said. The rangers have new zords and new power. Now we'll see what these new zords can really do.
