Steve and Natasha rush down the hallway to the ceremony hall.
"Xander" Natasha shouts.
"Mama is there another storm?" Xander looks at her afraid "Where are Tes and Salk?"
"They went to their rooms" She answers.
"How do we fix this? I can barely see anything" Steve asks T'Challa.
"Wait." Xander looks out the window. "It's all coming from the center, then going all over the place. Similar to Thor's lightning. That could mean that someone or something is controlling it."
Steve looks around. "That means who or whatever that is needs to be stopped."
"How?" Natasha asks.
"Did you bring your suits?" T'Challa asks, knowing what Steve is planning.
"Oh no"
"I can get mine, Xander's is in the lab." T'Challa shook Steve's shoulder.
Natasha and Steve looked at Xander, only he knew his limits. "I'll go with T'Challa and meet you out there" They all ran out of the room.
"Are you sure" T'Challa asked as they ran through the hall.
"If it means protecting my siblings, I'm all for it"
They entered the lab. T'Challa leads Xander over to where there are a bunch of mannequins. Xander saw a chain with dark red and silver metal claws.
"Put this on" T'Challa put the chain over Xander's head and the suit started materializing. Xander stood in front of the mirror for a few seconds.
"Kuhle"/awesome. He looked over and T'Challa's traditional Black Panther suit had materialized on him. "Let's go"
Steve and Natasha are trying to get people into the secure shelters. Xander and T'Challa join them.
"Wow Einstein, you look great" Natasha compliments.
"You were right there's someone up there" Steve says walking over to where they were all standing.
As soon as he said that, the lightning stopped and the figure floated down. The four were not prepared for what they saw next.
It was a woman. She was tall, dark skin, white hair, and devilish red eyes. She had a bunch of blinding electricity surrounding her.
"Who are you?" T'Challa asks, stepping back to get ready to fight.
"Storm"
The woman methodically put out her hand and shot lightning at them. The four separate to avoid getting hit.
"How're we supposed to hit her?" Steve yelled.
"Try to get close, find out if your shield has the same reaction with the lightning." Xander dodged lightning strikes from 'Storm'.
"Her eyes look strange. Maybe she's an alien" Xander thinks to himself, wrapped up in not getting hit by lightning to think anything else about it. T'Challa and Natasha ran in front of Storm to get her attention while Xander sneaked around behind. She was high off the ground so Xander was going to try to grab her and force her down. She shot lightning off in every direction, making a chunk come off one of the buildings.
"Water" she chanted and the pipes from some of the buildings came undone, flooding the streets.
"Ok, that's really not good," Steve mumbled.
Xander took the opportunity of her distraction and jumped up. He grabbed one of her legs and dragged her back to the ground with him. She no longer had lightning coming from her hands but she kicked Xander in the stomach. Xander quickly recovered twisting her arm and aiming it away from him as she shot out another pulse. Natasha came around her and tried attacking the woman with her widow bites. Storm seemed unfazed, and must have something to do with her basically being electricity. Storm used her other arm to shoot Xander's leg, making him lose his grip on her arm. She flew up again, anger seeping out of her for some reason. Xander noticed something, a symbol that he learned last year in history. She was a priestess, she was Egyptian. He just looked at her confused before he focused on the flood situation
Wakanda was in Africa and it was under a force field, it didn't have the necessary drain system to deal with a lot of water. Steve ran out of the building drenched. He had just gotten a family out of the building and a few streets away. Storm sends out another blast of lightning.
She lights the top of the building with a strong surge that makes a bright light, making the four heroes have to cover their eyes. At the same time a loud noise is heard. Xander looks up and faintly sees a pole heading for a group of people. He gets up even though his leg burns and runs over. He catches the pole only seconds before the people get hit. He puts it down and looks around. He's calm until he realises something.
"She's gone"
The adults look around and realize that he's right. Steve and Natasha run over to him.
They wrap their arms around him and kiss his forehead. "I'm so glad you're okay" Natasha whispers in his ear "I love you so much" she wraps her arm even tighter around him. Something doesn't feel quite right to Xander, like a piece of his brain is missing.
"Can we go check on them and I want to thank Shuri for this amazing suit" Xander asks, ignoring the feeling in his gut. Natasha looks from his leg to his face. "Salk can take a look at it."
"Ok" Natasha kissed her son's forehead. "We're going to go check on Ronnie and Henry."
"I need to stay here with T'Challa to supervise search and rescue." He gave her a kiss on the cheek.
The two head back to the palace, moving much slower than normal due to Xander's leg. They opened the door and thankfully the palace wasn't badly damaged like most of the buildings. They walk up the staircase and through the corridor to get to Henry's room.
"Henry? Ronnie?" Natasha calls out to the dark and seemingly empty room. "Xan can you-?"
"Yeah"
"This is Einstein. Where are you?" He asked, but he felt no response. The same feeling he felt after the battle hitting him straight on and making him fall to the ground.
"They can't hear me. I don't sense them." Xander says through deep breaths.
"What?" Natasha asks worried.
He looks up at his mother. This has only happened one other time. "We've been separated. They're gone."
