Chapter 15: Quinton's Stand, Part 1

Ashley then opened the door to see Santona still wrapped in a chair.

"Hey! Miss Grain!" Santona said. "Can you get me out of this damn chair?"

"I will! Calm down, Santona…" Ashley said as she untied Santona. "You're free now."

"Good…" Santona said. "What now?"

"Just follow me, we're leaving this place."

"GREAT."

At the living room, Katsuma went to the living room to find Joshua and Lady.

"Ah! You two are alright!" Katsuma said.

"What was that?" Joshua wonders. "It was a skull… And then it took Lady's soul?

"It's a long story." Katsuma replied. "I'll tell it to you all when Ashley gets us to that restaurant."

"(Looks away and sighed) Yeah…" Lady said.

"Ok, I'll go check upstairs. I'm curious to see what's up there, all of a sudden." Joshua said.

"Ok, I'll let Ashley know." Katsuma said.

Joshua then headed upstairs to see what's there.

"Woah… I have to be careful. I'm pretty sure the floor here is breakable." Joshua said. "Let me check that room straightforward. It looks like the bedroom."

When Joshua opened the door to the bedroom, he revealed someone that he knew. It was Quinton Brown, but was tied up from the eyes, mouth, arms and legs.

"OH MY GOD! QUINTON!" Joshua shouted as he rushed over to him. "Are you alright?! Here, let me untied you!"

Joshua then untied him from the eyes and mouth first.

"Shit! He's unconscious!" Joshua said.

Then, Katsuma entered the room.

"Anything wrong, Joshua?" Katsuma asked. "(Looks at Quinton) That's someone you know?"

"Of course he is! He was one of my best friends from high school!" Joshua said. "He's somehow here!"

"Don't worry, we'll get him up! Let's get him back to safety!"

"We're going back to that house?"

"Yes, I'll let Ashley know about this."

~MEANWHILE~

Zachary and Macy then returned to the building Diana would be at.

"Ok, where is her room at?" Macy wonders.

"I think it's straight across from here." Zachary replied. "Let's go and see."

Zachary and Macy then went to the room.

"Diana?!" Zachary hollered. "We're back!"

"Diana?!" Macy hollered. "We want to tell you something, on behalf of the mission!"

Diana then stared at them from the ceiling.

"How was the mission? Where is Lincoln Unshal at?" Diana said.

Zachary and Macy then jumped as they heard Diana's voice.

"Um… Lincoln was killed." Macy replied to Diana. "We got them trapped in that house, but they outsmarted us."

"I see…" Diana said as she disappeared.

"She's gone…" Zachary said.

Then, the lights went out in the room. There was then a mysterious sound of something going through someone. The lights then turned on. Zachary looked around the room, only to then see his girlfriend being impaled through the chest by Diana's Stand.

"MACY!" Zachary shouted.

The Stand then disappeared. Macy fell to the ground. Zachary then went over to her.

"Macy! Please! Get up!" Zachary said. "I can't let you die here!"

"My sweet, Zachary… I'm sorry… Diana's Stand… I don't know how… But… Get this…" Macy said, softly before she died. "I… love you…"

Zachary then cried loudly after his girlfriend's passing.

"SHE DIDN'T DESERVED TO DIE LIKE THIS!" Zachary yelled. "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD DO SUCH A THING, DIANA!"

Then, Diana appeared next to him. Zachary jumped and crawled back.

"You should be lucky that I spared you, Zachary Versace." Diana said. "Your girlfriend died because she told me the bad news…"

"But…" Zachary said. "I don't know what made you do that…"

"Hmph… I'm giving you another chance, Versace." Diana said. "Get Joshua Joestar, or you'll suffer the same fate as your sweetheart."

"R-Right!"

"Good, you may leave now."

Zachary then ran away to the entrance.

"Hmph… I'll see how he can do without his allies." Diana said.

Outside the building, Zachary took deep breaths as he calmed down.

"(Sighs) I never felt sadness like that before…" Zachary said. "I can't believe she would do such a thing to my lover… Grr… I can handle this on my own, without her sorry ass."

Zachary then started to walk down the street.

"When I first obtained my Stand, Demon Days, I never knew that he was gonna be a devil." Zachary said to himself. "I thought that it would be something else, but I got a devil with a nice suit on. That suit would attract a lot of girls…"

Zachary then crossed the street. He then looked at the sky.

"Someone told me that inside of every demon is a rainbow…" Zachary said to himself. "I don't think my Stand even has one… All it is, is hollow. Nothing inside… I just hope that we can change for the better, if that saying is true…"

While Zachary continued to look at the sky, a woman was watching him.

"Heh heh heh… Luckily he doesn't know that I'm keeping my eye on him for Diana." She said to herself. "Just so he won't betray us… I'm watching you, Zachary Versace… Diana will not be happy with your possible betrayal."
