Danny's POV

I was getting ready for my date with Sandy, I was super happy she gave me another chance. The guys are super glad as well, to be honest they are more nicer to her than the girls are. Well expect Frenchy, Jan…kind of. Anyway I combed my hair slick back. So I gave my mother and Daisy a kiss on the cheek and man-hug my father as I got in my car and drove all the way to Sandy's house. I looked up, letting out a deep breath. So I got out and walked to her door, and knocked. Then I saw Sandy's mother, Shelly Olsson opens the door. "Oh hello Daniel." She greeted with a smile.

"Hello, Mrs. Olsson." I greeted walking in. "You're looking lovely."

"Thank you." She smiled. "Sandy, Danny's here!"

"Ok mom!" Sandy called out.

Then I saw Sandy's father, Sean walked in from the kitchen.

"Ah, long time no see son.." He smiled, shaking my hand. "Now you will treat my daughter good and have her be home by 9, right?"

"Yes sir." I told him.

"Good boy." He said patting my arm.

"Daddy, don't scare him." I looked to see Sandy walking down wearing a yellow dress with a white sweater. "Hi Danny."

"Hey, you lookin' good." I said to her.

"Thank you." She smiled.

"You two have a great time." Mrs. Olsson told us.

"We will mom." Sandy assured him.

"But don't have too much fun." Mr. Olsson winked.

I chuckled.

"Daddy…" Sandy scolded.

"Bye folks." I said as I led Sandy out of the door and held the door for her to in.

I got in and we drove off to Frosty.

"Sorry about my father Danny." Sandy said. "I'm daddy's little girl."

I chuckled at her.

"Nah, it's cool." I told her.

We finally arrived to Frosty, and I held Sandy's hand as we got out and I shuts the door, to see Putzie and Jan inside dancing. I know my boys don't mind Sandy, but I'm not sure about the Pink Ladies. I mean, I'm pretty sure Jan was one of them that had made fun of her at Frenchy's slumber party.

"Sandy, come on, let's go someplace else tonight." I said to her.

"Why?" She asked.

I looked back up.

"Because we can't be alone here, that's why." I told her.

I was gonna pulled her away, but she stopped me.

"Danny." She says.

I saw the innocence in her eyes.

"Okay." I finally gave in.

So I grabbed her hand, and dragged her inside putting the collar up to hide myself and ran to the booth at the back of Frosty.

"You nearly pulled my arm out of the socket." I heard Sandy said.

"Well, I didn't want to miss this table. It's the best table they got." I told her.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"I just want a little privacy for us alright." I said grabbing to hold her hand.

"What'll it be, kids?" We looked up to Vi with her notepad.

"Oh, a cherry soda, please." Sandy said.

"Danny?" Vi asked me.

I looked up at her.

"Oh, I'm not very hungry. Just give me a double polar burger with everything and a cherry soda with chocolate ice cream." I told her.

She was about to leave until Sandy spoke up.

"That sounds good. I'll have the same." She added.

I looked at her in awe.

The same? You can eat a lot, can't you?" I asked.

"You know, you're funny." She giggled.

"No, you are." I smiled.

Just then I saw someone took the two menu and it was Kenickie…with Rizzo, great! I just got back Sandy and made things right with her!

"How you doing, Zuk, huh? Nice? Golden glooms." Kenickie says as he pulled the other table to connect theirs to ours.

"Hi, Rizzo. How are you?" I heard Sandy asked.

"Peachy keen, jelly bean." Rizzo responded.

"Hey, you got a couple of quarters? We can split an Eskimo Pie." Kenickie says.

I just glanced at them.

"My Dutch treat days are over." Rizzo said to him.

"You plan on staying home a lot." Kenickie said to her.

Hey, greetings, pals and gals!" Sonny exclaimed as he, Doody, Marty and Frenchy walked up to our tables.

I pulled out a ciggarettes, and lighting it up.

"Hey, I got 23 cents. Anybody wanna chip in for a Dog-Sled Delight?" I heard Sonny said as he offers.

"I don't know where all my money goes." Marty stated. "A dime here, 15 cents there." She adds.

"Yeah, well, in another couple of months, Frenchy here will be able to take us all out. Huh? A working girl with income." Doody explains.

"Hey, that's right." Marty says.

I looked over to see Sandy smiling.

"Well, you know, they don't pay you very much to start off with." Frenchy says.

"Yeah, well, that's still more than we make. So ante up because I don't get my allowance until Friday." I heard Doody said.

I looked at them.

"What? You get an allowance?" Kenickie asked.

"When I'm a good boy I do." Doody tells him.

I chuckled inside, that's my Howdy Doody! Then Kenickie turned to me.

"Can I have one?" He asks.

I nodded my head.

"Hey Viola!" Sonny yelled. "A dog-sled delights with four spoons!"

"And an Eskimo pie with a knife!" Kenickie also shouts.

"Hiya gang!" Jan greets.

"Hi Jan!" Sonny says.

"Hi Putz!" Doody greets Putzie.

"Hi Jan!" Frenchy smiled.

Viola comes with a tray of polar burgers, cherry soda, and chocolate ice cream. "Here y're. Grab em' and growl."

I just let out a sigh.

Then I heard Rizzo saying, "I have so many hickies, people will think I'm a leper."

"Hey! Cheer up; uh...a hickey from Kenickie is like a hallmark card, only when you care enough to send the very best." I heard him say.

I was making more move for everyone and I was gonna put the tray on the other table when Sandy asked me this.

"My parents to invite you tea on Sunday. You wanna come?" She asked.

I looked at the gang and back to Sandy.

"I don't like tea." I said.

Then Sandy chuckles.

"You don't have to drink tea." She tells me.

"Well I don't like parents." I said.

The only parents I like are mine, the guys' and Sandy's!

"Oh, no, I'm gonna be a senior forever if I don't study for that dumb algebra test tomorrow." I heard Marty stated.

"Hey, you're in luck, luscious. You got an armed escort home." Sonny said.

"It's not the arms I'm worried about, Sonny. It's the hands." Marty told him.

"She loves me." Sonny stated.

"Hey, you coming, French?" Doody asked.

"Oh, I don't think so. I think I'd like to hang out a little bit longer." She replied.

"All right." Doody said.

"I have been dieting all day long. My mom's apple pie is better than this stuff. Do you want a piece?" I heard Jan spoke.

"Yeah, sure." Putzie spoke.

I chuckled at him, and then I rubbed my eyes in frustration as I let out a sigh. I watched Putzie and Jan walked off holding hand, that's my boy! Then I saw Sonny and Doody jumped off the railing to leave.

"You know, Danny, I'm kind of worried about this dance-off. Maybe they dance differently than we do back home." Sandy said to me.

"Don't worry about it. Maybe we'll invent the Kangaroo Bop." Rizzo say snarkly.

I gave her the death glare.

"Come on, let's get out of here, Sandy." I said getting up.

"Zuko, see you later, okay." Kenickie said to me.

"Bye, Frenchy." Sandy said.

"See you, Sandy." I heard Frenchy said.

I held my hand out for her to grab, and so we walked out of Frosty to my car.

"I am so sorry about her, Sandy." I said to Sandy.

"Danny, it's ok." She said. "I'm learning to ignore her snarky comments."

I smiled.

"That's my girl." I said, gently kissing her cheek.

"Hey lovebirds!" We looked over to see Sonny and Doody walking over to us.

"Sonny, they're on their date." Doody said to him.

I chuckled at him.

"What do you boys need?" I asked them.

"We need a ride home." Sonny said.

"But if you guys were going somewhere else, we'll just walk." Doody said quickly.

I smiled at my buddies.

"Hop in." I said.

"Danny, if you and Sandy wanna be alone we'll just walk." Sonny said. "Beside Sandy should get to know the real you, Danny Zuko the great guy."

Sonny pats my back as I smiled at him.

"Thanks Sonny-Boy." I said.

"Danny, I don't mind if we just drop them off." Sandy said.

I looked over at her.

"Are you sure?" I asked her.

She nods her head.

"Hop in boys." Sandy smiled.

"Alright!" Sonny and Doody said getting my car.

"Where's Marty?" Sandy asked him.

"She's just playing hard to get." Sonny said. "I think I should fall for other chicks."

"Give her time my boy." I said as I started my car.

"Sonny, if she can't see a great guy in you, then it's her loss." Sandy said.

I smiled at Sandy, I'm so glad she can be more comfortable around my boys.

"Thanks Sandy." Sonny smiled. "And forget Rizzo, she ain't got nothing on ya. You're one of the kind."

I smiled at my best friends.

"You guys are the best." I said to them.

"Well duh!" Doody smirked.

We chuckled at him, so I drove out of the parking lot and drove to dropped off Sonny and Doody, and we went back to hers.

"Home at last." I said parking my car in her driveway.

I got out to run to her side, to let her out.

"Why thank you kind gentleman." She said grabbing my hands.

"Anytime my dear." I smiled.

We both walked up to her front porch.

"Sandy, I am so sorry about everything, epically with Rizzo." I apologized.

She puts her finger on my lips.

"Let's not talk about Rizzo anymore, ok." She said.

I smiled.

"You got it darling." I said.

She giggled.

"C'mere here." I said gently kissing her. "You sleep well alright."

"You too." She smiled, so I gave her a gentle kiss on the forehead. "Bye Danny." She said before going inside.

I smiled to myself, walked to my car and drove home.
