Hi, everyone! I hope you all enjoy this story as much as I did while writing it. Please feel free to review, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Disclaimer: I don't own My Hero Academia or any of its characters. Mizuki, however, is my own creation.

Let's start with the story, shall we?*

Chapter 15

Red eyes slowly fluttered open as she was dragged out of the darkness of unconsciousness. Her vision shifted, nothing seeming to come in focus. She blinked a few times until she was able to make out the grey ceiling above her.

Mizuki let out a cough from her dry throat and then groaned at the fatigue that washed over her along with a sharp pain in her side. She heard a faint beeping sound to her right, her eyes traveling form the IV in her arm towards the machine monitoring her vitals.

I'm…in the hospital…? She thought groggily and stared at the small screen before everything came flooding back to her. USJ, the Villains, the fighting, the blue creature…! Mizuki sat up abruptly, her hand shooting towards her mouth as nausea rocketed through her system and her side yelling at her.

She clenched her eyes shut as everything around her spun, the nausea increasing. She could feel tears involuntarily form in the corner of her eyes and tried to blink them away. She sat dead still and waited for her bearings to come back.

"Ugh… I feel like shit…" She muttered and looked down at herself, her hand falling to her side. She took in the state of her injured arm, the limb covered in bandages. She swallowed with difficulty as she recalled how mangled it was. She twitched her fingers and let out a breath of relief.

Besides the vertigo, her body felt tired. Her head felt groggy and foggy. She couldn't make out everything that happened right after All Might arrived. The only thing she recalled was the coldness that she clutched to in her fever.

She glanced towards the glass windows of her room, brows knitting together. It was night already, the moon high in the sky and the lights from the hospital all turned on. She wondered how long she had been sleeping…

She felt another wave of nausea arrive and practically threw off the covers. She grabbed onto the vital monitor and stepped out of the bed. She gritted her teeth through the exhaustion of her body and tried her best to reach the bathroom, closing the door when she entered.

The door of the hospital room slid open, a familiar figure stopping in the doorway as he stared at the vacant bed. There were sounds coming from the bathroom, followed by curses and groaning. There was flushing and then the door clicked open.

"That was crap and gross. I'm not eating ever again!" Mizuki whined as she stepped out of the bathroom. She let out a sigh and it took her a few moments to notice there was someone else in the room.

She glanced at the door, blinking slowly as she took in the person's appearance. Her eyes started to widen, her face heating up drastically when she realized who it was. She wanted to bury herself six feet under right then and there.

"I see you're already up and running," Aizawa stated in his usual monotone and a gleam of relief flashing through his tired eyes. Mizuki stood and stared at him with horror filled eyes as she stood in her hospital robe, her once pale complexion now flushed red.

"Please tell me you didn't hear all that…"

"I did." Mizuki gasped in horror at the thought that he heard her throw up followed by her comments. What made matters worse was that she was standing in front of him in her hospital gown, nearly naked.

"Oh no… Please let me die here from embarrassment. My life is officially over…" Mizuki dramatically groaned and Aizawa chuckled in amusement. He was about to say something but Mizuki's hand flew to her mouth, her face turning slightly blue and her eyes clenched shut.

Another wave of nausea overcame her and she mentally cursed. How many more was she going to have? She decided that nothing was worse than her nausea and let out a shaky breath as it subsided once more.

"Screw this. It sucks," Mizuki said and was about to take a step towards her bed, her legs wanting to buckle beneath her. Aizawa was immediately by her side as he helped her stay on her feet, red eyes giving him a grateful look.

"Sorry."

"No need to apologize. You were the only who carried me for a while," Aizawa pointed out and helped the ash blonde female to her bed. Mizuki looked at the bandaged arms that helped her and a faint frown came onto her lips, her thoughts being brushed passed.

"You were hella heavy, you know?" Mizuki snapped weakly towards the male and he let out a chuckle. Mizuki sat down on her bed and let out a sigh as she sat against the wall of pillows on her bed.

There was an awkward silence that then started to linger in the room, Mizuki not knowing where to look for it to be better and bit the inside of her cheek. What was she going to say to get rid of this suffocating uneasiness?

"The top two Villains got away," Aizawa said, gaining her attention. "The rest of the villains were all captured and the creature was also contained. No one else besides you, me, All Might and Midoriya sustained injuries. Yours were the most severe."

Mizuki mentally wanted to scold Izuku for getting hurt but then again, she didn't have any room to talk. She got herself beaten into a pulp, overheated her body and caused a burden for everyone to carry her sorry ass after she lost consciousness.

"I see. What happened after I passed out? I can't really remember much after my brother got there," Mizuki stated with a sheepish smile, rubbing the back of her head. She could feel the bandage wrapped around and briefly stopped.

"It seemed that your body overheated with your attack and Todoroki had to carry you to keep your temperature under control." Mizuki's eyes widened. "Iida arrived with the other teachers and All Might defeated the creature. The students were sent home for the rest of the day," he informed her.

Mizuki thought of Shoto that carried her and blushed slightly. She must've been a pain to carry and to keep her from overheating. It seemed like she needed to put more work in her designing… After all, her costume was half fried after her explosion.

She could vaguely remember seeing Eijiro and Izuku amidst the fighting, her brother's backside printed within her memory. They were all there. They all came to help her. She felt a warm feeling reside within her chest and a small smile came onto her lips.

"You were very irresponsible," Aizawa brought her out of her moment of being content. "Not only did you disobey the orders I gave you, you took on Villains when you were barely even a student at U.A. Such reckless behaviour isn't befitting for a future hero. I should expel you for it," he said and her eyes widened.

He wanted to expel her…?

She could feel it sink into her body and stared down at her bandaged legs. It was true, she did disobey both him and Thirteen. She went off on her own and put her life in danger. She put both heroes in a difficult situation.

"I…understand…" She murmured softly, sadness filling her, a small smile coming onto her lips. "You can expel me, I won't argue against it…but, in all honesty, I don't regret anything I did." Her eyes were soft as they looked up at Aizawa, a frown forming on his lips.

He let out a sigh and sat down as he rubbed the side of his head. He briefly closed his eyes, his thoughts running wild within his head. He had the power to expel her and kick her out of the hero course, yet there were uncertainties that he needed to make sure of first.

"I'm not expelling you." Mizuki stared at him in surprise. "I'm letting you off with a warning this time. I heard from Thirteen that you made the perfect opportunity for Iida to call for help and every move you did from there on was thought through," he said, intertwining his fingers.

"You did what you thought was right at that moment and saved me. For that, I'm grateful. However, as a hero and a teacher, I don't want you to ever put yourself in that kind of danger again. Understood?" His tone of voice was low, his eyes showing the urge of his words.

Despite that, Mizuki let out a snicker. "Yes, sir!" She said with a small salute that earned her an unimpressed gaze from her teacher. She rolled her eyes at the male's seriousness and sat up straight.

"You're acting this modest but you were the one who saved me in the end." Aizawa gave her a blank expression, her statement not making sense. Mizuki averted her eyes away from him and she fisted the covers of the hospital bed.

"After that thing regenerated, I couldn't move. I honestly thought I was going to die. I was scared and frustrated. I hadn't even done anything with my life yet! But that's when it happened. The fist stopped in front of me and it couldn't move," Mizuki continued, Aizawa's brows knitting together.

"When I looked up, and saw those lifeless beady eyes, I was stunned. That's when I noticed you wrapped him in your capturing cloth, your Quirk activated," she explained and gave him a bright grin.

"You saved me and for that I'm grateful."

What? Aizawa's eyes were wide as he looked at the girl who sat in front of him. He could see with the earnest expression she wore that she wasn't lying. She had meant everything that she said. The only problem was, he didn't do it. She saved herself, but she didn't know that she did it?

He had been keeping himself occupied as he thought about what happened. It was imprinted within his thoughts. The way the Nomu attacked her full force and then froze up, unable to move. It seemed as if all of his Quirks were nullified in that moment.

Only afterwards, he captured the creature and the students arrived. It was only after he was stopped that he had tried to keep him in that state with his Quirk. Mizuki was the only other person who could've stopped it.

She doesn't know that she was the one who stopped the Nomu? Moreover, the Villains also noticed this. That's why they wanted to eliminate her as soon as possible. Aizawa thought and gazed at the female who let out a tired yawn.

I'm going to have to keep an eye on her from here on out. Aizawa thought, the tightness of his intertwined fingers growing. He and the Villains seemed to be the only ones who knew. He hadn't confirmed it with Izuku yet.

Either way, he wanted to keep this revelation a secret, even if it meant to keep it from Mizuki. After all, there was a leak in U.A. that gave all the necessary information to the Villains. He couldn't risk trusting someone he wasn't sure of.

"Get some rest," Aizawa said as he stood up, Mizuki raising an eyebrow at his sudden words after his silence. "The school is temporary closed for now, but after that class starts at normal time. There's no slacking off for you, Class Representative." He pocketed his hands.

"I wouldn't dream of it!" Mizuki stated with a confident smirk. Aizawa grunted in reply. He gave her a parting glance and then walked away. Mizuki noticed this and wondered what was on the male's mind. He seemed extremely deep in thought a few moments ago.

"Get out of my way, Shitty Hair! Who said that you could come with me, hah?!" Katsuki's voice broke through the hospital walls. Mizuki's trail of thought was broken when she heard him and caused her to sigh.

"Come on, don't be like that, Bakugou! I want to see if she's doing okay! It's not necessary to be an ass about it!" She heard the familiar voice of Eijiro scold her brother and blinked in surprise. He was here too?

Mizuki felt a blush creep on her cheeks as she realized the state she was in. She was wearing a hospital gown! Despite the bandages over most of her body, she didn't want him to see her in this unfashionable dressing.

Her eyes darted around as she looked for any possible clothing she could change into. She caught sight of a small bag and went to reach for it, only to bite back a cry. It was no use. She wouldn't be able to change in time and neither would she be able to do so alone.

"Hah?! You can see her when she's back at school, idiot! Who are you calling an ass? I'll kill you!" Katsuki countered angrily. They stepped through the doorway, their heads locked as they ruined the once silent hospital.

"Can you two please keep it quiet? There are people who actually need some peace and quiet for resting. Geez, I can't take you anywhere, can I?" Mizuki scowled at the boys, their eyes wide as they looked at her.

"Mizuki! You're awake!" Eijiro exclaimed, completely ignoring her statement. Mizuki had to close her one eye at his blinding grin, her brother also giving her one of his very rare smiles. Their arguing seemed to evaporate almost instantly.

"Yeah, no one can sleep with you two idiots shouting in the halls," Mizuki pointed at them in disapproval, a gleam of mischief passing through her eyes. Eijiro laughed and rubbed the back of his head blushingly while a vein palpitated out of Katsuki's head.

"Who are you calling an idiot?!"

Mizuki chuckled at her brother's flaring temper. She felt comforted to see him still the same Explodo-kill brother she was used to. She could feel the vague uneasiness coming from him, his red eyes hiding his emotions well.

Mizuki caught sight of a flurry, green mass that suddenly popped in by the room's entrance. The two boys followed her gaze, catching a pair of big green eyes. Katsuki glared at the male as he made his appearance, Eijiro surprised.

"Izu-kun?"

"H-Hi, Mi-chan. I'm glad to see you're awake," Izuku murmured as he stepped into the room with a kind and warm smile. Mizuki's facial expression softened when she saw his bandaged arm. He must've fought hard.

"Midoriya, I thought that Recovery Girl wanted to keep you in the infirmary? Did she change her mind? How's your legs and arm?" Eijiro asked the green haired male. Izuku laughed lightly and averted his eyes shyly.

"She wanted to, but, um, I asked her if I could leave a bit earlier," Izuku said as he pressed his two index fingers against each other in a repeated motion, his one arm wrapped in bandages. He didn't mention the part where he was scolded greatly by the female hero.

"Hey, how's your arm doing?" Katsuki asked, gaining Mizuki's gaze. "The stupid doctor was almost more pissed about that than your overheating." Mizuki brought up her right arm and slowly flexed her fingers.

She recalled how mangled it was a felt guilt rush through her system. They were the ones who saw her as she lost the fight, rather pitifully. She didn't have the power to win against it and couldn't even save herself. Pathetic.

Mizuki chuckled dryly as she made a fist with her arm. "So far, so good. I bet I can blow your ass up if I wanted to!" Mizuki arrogantly mused and made the trio in the room chuckle in amusement at her statement.

"You're quick to give us a mouth full but you're the one yelling the loudest," Katsuki pointed out and caused Mizuki's face to heat up, much to her dismay. He gave her a smug look, the male unfazed by the glare he received.

"Huh? Mi-chan, why are you red? Do you have a fever?" Izuku asked, alert at the sudden colouring of her skin. Mizuki's eyes widen when she saw the sudden panic in Eijiro's eyes. Katsuki rolling his eyes at the green haired male's distress.

"Mizuki has a fever? I'll go and call the doctor!" Eijiro, who was completely oblivious that Mizuki was merely embarrassed, nobly stated. Mizuki shook her head as she tried to stop him from running off to find a doctor.

"Deku, stop spouting a load of crap! You're making Shitty Hair get his panty in a twist!" Katsuki snapped at Izuku who gave him a baffled look. Mizuki watched the chaos in the room and barely noticed Eijiro moving closer.

"Are you sure?" Eijiro asked as he leaned in, Mizuki's face flushing a deeper form of crimson. Katsuki and Izuku stared at the male in disbelief as he placed his head against Mizuki's. "You don't feel too warm." Mizuki could feel his hot breath in her face.

Izuku flushed at the scene and he tried to cover his face, peeking between his hands. He was only taking her temperature and yet, it looked much more intimate. He turned white when he saw sparks appear in the palm of Katsuki's hand.

Her heart hammered in her ears and her breathing hitched. He was too close. Way too close! She looked up at his big, red and innocent eyes as he gave her a sincere look. She nearly melted under his gaze, until she felt a sinister presence in the room.

"Hey, Shitty Hair…" Steam came from Katsuki's mouth, his eyes glowing with anger. Mizuki paled at her brother's flaring temper while Eijiro gave him an innocent look. "Where do you think you're leaning in like that? Hah?" His voice was low and threatening.

Eijiro blinked. Once. Twice. "Ah! Sorry about that!" Eijiro jumped backwards, his own blush tinting on his cheeks. He swallowed thickly and averted his eyes, Mizuki staring in front of her and not looking at the redhead.

"W-Wait, Kacchan! He was only taking her temperature!" Izuku tried to persuade the angry ash blonde. Eijiro paled when he saw Katsuki's deadly gaze on him, small explosions going off in the palm of his hands.

He was dead.

"Stop it-" Mizuki's hand flew to her mouth when she felt her nausea return full blown and had everyone's anxious eyes on her. It seemed like as soon as she riled herself up, the nausea worsened and came back stronger.

"Mizuki-"

"I'm fine, just a little nausea. It's been going on for a while since I woke up," Mizuki said and waved off their concern. "Now, stop fighting in my room. Go do that outside." Mizuki let out a calming breath and relaxed.

Katsuki glared at Eijiro and then scoffed. He crossed his arms over his chest, Eijiro amazed that he actually listened to what his sister said. Izuku let out a sigh of relief and held his chest, his heart resting again.

"I'm glad that you're all here," Mizuki said and found all eyes on her. "Aizawa Sensei told me everything after I passed out. Thank you for keeping me safe." Eijiro and Izuku smiled while Katsuki clicked his tongue.

"Aizawa Sensei was here?" Eijiro asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion. "Now that you mention it, we did see him walking off when we came here…" He mused, Katsuki scoffing at the male's delayed observation skills while Izuku's expression fell slightly.

It was unexpected to have the scruffy haired male visit her, though, she did help him with the fight against the Villains. Izuku recalled how she swooped in and protected the pro hero until she was the target.

By the time they neared the area where she was attacked, she had already blown most of the creature away. Yet, it wasn't nearly enough to keep it from attacking her after it regenerated. That was, until it froze. Aizawa's Quirk was quirk to stop it, much to Izuku's surprise since it hadn't work before.

There was just one strange thing. Aizawa's Quirk also didn't erase anything of the creature afterwards. Strange. It must've been in that one moment that he finally broke through or the creature stopped for some odd reason. Either way, it was all in the past now.

"Well, we're glad that you're alright, Mi-chan," Izuku said, Eijiro nodding in agreement. "You really fought bravely against those villains and even helped Aizawa Sensei. You were a real hero out there." Mizuki smirked and made a fist.

"Naturally. Don't think I'll miss one moment of not looking cool when fighting against scum," she proudly said and he laughed softly. He was relieved to see the life returning in her crimson coloured eyes.

"We have arrived!" Another new voice joined in and everyone looked at the door as it was slid open in one smooth motion. "Iida Tenya and Uraraka Ochaco from class 1A reporting in for visiting time!" Iida announced and made everyone sweat drop.

"Shhh, Iida-kun, we're in a hospital. There's no need to announce us," Ochaco whispered to him and his hands shot up to his mouth in shock. Ochaco walked inside while Iida went in a brief depression for not realizing he was yelling in a hospital.

"Uraraka-san?"

"Ah, Deku-kun! I'm glad to see you're okay," she said holding a small basket, her kind and warm smile filling up the room. Mizuki watched the interaction between Izuku and Ochaco, her own smile forming.

This was the first time she saw it. She still hadn't gotten the answer behind why she called him 'Deku' but it seemed that it didn't matter to him in the slightest. She made a mental note to keep an eye on the two.

"Sorry we couldn't come and visit sooner, Mizuki-san. But we brought you something to make up for it," Ochaco said while holding up a small picnic basket. Mizuki looked at the basket with weary eyes and swallowed with difficulty.

"Thank you-""Mizuki is nauseous," Katsuki cut her off and Mizuki was left gaping at the male's statement. Both Iida and Ochaco turned white at his words. Mizuki groaned and then let out an exasperated sigh.

He's too blunt… She thought and then chuckled. "It's fine. It'll pass eventually and then I'll be sure to dig in. Thank you for all your effort, Ochaco, Iida. I appreciate it," she said and watched in amusement as the life returned to them.

"We're glad to see you're awake. We were worried when your surgery took so long. We thought we could make you something in the meanwhile," Ochaco stated and Mizuki raised an eyebrow, her face falling.

"What are you talking about?" Mizuki asked, the atmosphere thickening drastically in the hospital room. Ochaco and Iida gave each other a bothered look, Katsuki's expression was his beneath a shadow and Eijiro refused to make eye contact.

"Um, Mi-chan, you were in surgery for five hours and only woke up now. It's already far passed eight." Mizuki felt her wind being knocked out at his words. All the blood drained from her face as realization dawned upon her.

"T-Then what are you all doing here if it's that late? Shouldn't you be at home and resting? I mean, today was a rough day and you all fought against the Villains," Mizuki said, her voice cracking slightly as she tried to push away her uneasiness.

"No way! We wanted to see that you were doing okay! You came off the worst out of all of us…" Ochaco said and Mizuki found herself briefly speechless. They were visiting her this late because they wanted to see how she was doing?

"With the tension this high in the room, someone would think there's a funeral going on." Doctor Tanaka stepped inside the room, his usual white coat fitting him loosely and his kind, warm eyes looking over the students. He sweat dropped at the expression she received.

"I was only joking… Anyway! I see that you're awake, Mizuki. You gave us all a big scare back there. I hope that you aren't making the hospitalization a hobby of yours," Doctor Tanaka teased the ash blonde female who chuckled.

"Believe me, this is the last place I want to be but I guess I can't stay out of trouble," Mizuki stated playfully and managed to break the uncomfortableness in the room. She already had enough to deal with in her thoughts, she didn't want the others to experience the same.

"I would prefer it if you do." His tone of voice lowered, the file in his hands opening. "You sustained multiple fractures in your left arm and ribs, torn muscle fibres but luckily no nerve damage. You should be able to move your arm freely. Let me know if you have any pain, or prickling sensations," he said and Mizuki nodded.

"I don't see the divided coloured hair boy here right now, but you better give him a big thank you. If he hadn't kept your temperature under control with his Quirk, then there would've been serious consequences. Most of your tissues were still intact and the damage was minimal," he continued.

Mizuki bit her bottom lip as he continued. The others in the room were quiet, listening to everything the doctor was telling them. Katsuki kept his eyes hidden but she could see the shaking of his hands as he tried to resist his emotions.

"My biggest concern is the skull fracturing." Everyone's eyes widened. "We did the scans and found that you only had linear fractures. It's very common and doesn't need any surgery. You should experience symptoms such as vertigo, nausea, loss of awareness and soreness," he said and closed the file.

"I want to keep you here for the night to monitor you and see if there are any changes. In the meantime, I'm going to give you something for the pain and nausea," he informed her and she vaguely nodded.

The doctor noticed the panic in her eyes and gave her a reassuring smile. "You should be able to go to school as soon as we discharge you. For now, visiting hours are still open for half an hour. You can enjoy catching up with your friends. All I ask is for you to keep it down," he said and everyone looked at Katsuki. The ash blonde scowled at them, causing the students to chuckle in amusement.

"Thank you, Doctor Tanaka," Mizuki said and the male nodded. He tucked the file underneath his arm and walked off, leaving everyone in the silence of the room. Mizuki let out a sigh and sat back into the bed, her crimson eyes scanning her brother.

"I won you again." He looked up at her in mixed confusion. "I've broken more bones than you have," she stated and stuck her tongue out in a mocking gesture. He stared at her in disbelief, not expecting her words.

"Pfft, what type of competition do you guys have?" Ochaco asked, trying her best to hold back her laughter. Mizuki soon joined her laughter, ignoring the stinging from her side. The rest of the students couldn't help but smile.

"Mizuki-kun!" Iida spoke up, the ash blonde glancing at him as he bowed. "Thank you for giving me the opportunity to help the others and for helping the students!" Mizuki sweat dropped at pointed at him.

"Sure, just run a bit faster next time, okay?" She saw him visibly freeze and then laughed. "Joking! Unfortunately, I'm glad that I picked you for the job," she added. He looked up at her in surprised and pressed his lips together, the male overcome with emotions but his tears driven away with willpower.

"Anyway!" EiIjiro sat down on one of the chairs and grinned. "The doc said we still have a little time to spare. Let's keep Mizuki company until it's time to leave!" He said and everyone nodded, Katsuki scoffing despite the peculiar happiness that flashed in his eyes.

Mizuki was okay.

They all then made themselves comfortable in sitting on the available chairs and open bed on her one side. Iida kept standing and scolded Katsuki who sat on the bed comfortably. Yelling something about him not respecting the effort the nurses made with the bed.

Katsuki was quick to shout back at him and it resulted in a pair of sisters to come in and scold them. Much to Katsuki's irritancy and Iida's perfect obedience record. Mizuki and Ochaco laughed at them, Izuku and Eijiro sweat dropping at the scene.

Mizuki enjoyed the conversations that were started, Izuku and Ochaco excitedly telling her about the intense fight between All Might and the villains. They seemed to rile each other up as they continued, both acting in a very cute manner.

Eijiro grinned and had a few comments about how Katsuki was biting everyone's head off if they came close to her. He denied every single one of them and Iida easily rained on his parade when he even stated what was said. Mizuki laughed, her brother's embarrassment too much.

She was thankful for the small group who came to visit her. She didn't want to sit in a hospital room with her thoughts all by herself and they helped her get her mind of everything that happened. They easily got rid of her uneasiness and replaced it with happiness.

Something she was grateful for.

Meanwhile…

"So… Why is he here?" Aizawa asked as he stepped inside a small conference room, his worn-out eyes taking in the two males in front of him. Principal Nezu sat on one of the couches on the side, his tea brewing as he swayed with his feet.

Principal Nezu
Quirk: High Spec

Nezu was short and appeared to be a possible combination of several types of animals, including a dog, a mouse and a bear. He sports a white dress shirt, a dark red tie around his neck, a black double-breasted waistcoat and matching dress pants.

On the opposite side of him sat All Might, in his scruffy form. He wore his white shirt that covered the bandages he had around his middle. Further he wore his usual dark green pants and black shoes with it.

"You said that you wanted to keep this confidential. You also said that you needed a few that you can trust," Nezu hummed and Aizawa sighed, rubbing the back of his head. All Might looked between the two and sweat dropped.

Sensei is as long winded as usual.

"Sensei said that you needed to talk about something that happened at USJ and that it concerned one of the students," All Might stated and Aizawa grunted. He crossed his arms over his chest and leaned against the wall.

"It's about Mizuki Bakugou," Aizawa said, All Might's brows furrowing. "During the battle against the Nomu, I wasn't able to erase any of its Quirks, giving the impression that he was just that strong. However, while amidst an attack on her, the Nomu froze up and was immobilized."

"No one other than Mizuki, Midoriya, Shigaraki Tomura, Kurogiri and myself was there besides the Nomu. I highly doubt that any of the villains would've stopped the creature which only leaves two options," Aizawa stated and All Might's eyes widened.

"W-Wait, Aizawa-kun, Young Midoriya doesn't have any other Quirks," All Might said, shocked at what was told to him. He was also aware that there was no other diversity in Izuku's Quirk up until now. Aizawa brushed passed the fact that All Might seemed too sure of himself and continued.

"Yeah, that's what I thought." All Might looked at the male as he frowned. "The only one that was there, right in front of the blow that could've meant death, was Mizuki," he concluded and All Might felt his mouth run dry.

"Mmm, there are speculations that it was merely because of the Nomu itself. The overflowing of Quirks could've briefly short circuited the brain and made it unable to move. However. Aizawa Sensei confirmed that they were false," Nezu said as he calmly poured tea.

"The creature was immobilized and yet still tried to move. Not only that, but Shigaraki was very desperate to get rid of Mizuki after it happened. Meaning that they too know about it," Aizawa said and All Might frowned deeply.

"A dormant Quirk that activated as soon as the wielder is exposed to a life-threatening situation… Young Bakugou is her twin but he hasn't shown any signs of such a Quirk," All Might pointed out and Aizawa grunted.

"No, and Mizuki doesn't know either." This had the principal stop from pouring his tea, All Might not trying to hide his shock. "It's possible that the gene was dominant in her but recessive in her brother," Aizawa concluded.

"What do you mean Mizuki-san doesn't know?"

"I spoke to her earlier and she believes that I was the one who erased the creature's Quirk, in time to save her. I hadn't corrected her and I didn't tell her anything either. Having to deal with the emotional stress of almost dying by the hands of a villain when it was supposed to be a normal school day, is enough," Aizawa replied with a sigh.

It was a lot to take in. He knew Mizuki well from the background information that Izuku provided and not once did he mention that she was capable of more than her explosion Quirk. Which made another question pop up…

"Does Young Midoriya know?" All Might asked, recalling what Aizawa previously said. Izuku was there when it all happened. He wouldn't be surprised if he came to the same conclusion with his variety of knowledge.

"I'm still going to have to confirm that. So far, the only people who know about this are right here in this room and the League of Villains. I don't want to involve anyone else in this mess. Especially not Mizuki and her brother," Aizawa said.

Nezu put a cup of green tea in front of each male as he sat back with his own tea in hand. "We made sure to put up protection for her. Present Mic-san is patrolling along with Snipe-san. I had them stationed after telling them we don't know what the League's next move will be and decided to be prepared," he pointed out.

"But, you know…" Nezu trailed off, his expression becoming one filled with concern. "To have an unknown Quirk and a possible bounty on your head is a bit much for such a young girl." All Might and Aizawa each felt a wave of restlessness wash over them.

"That's why I wanted to talk to you, Principal Nezu," Aizawa looked at the male. "In regard with the Sports Festival coming up, I don't want her to participate," he said and All Might caught his trail of thought.

"If Young Mizuki participates and it happened that this unknown Quirk activates again, she would be exposed for everyone to see. It could clarify the suspicions that she has another Quirk," All Might finished and Aizawa nodded.

"Mmm… Don't you think that if you kept her from participating it could clarify the suspicions as well?" Nezu pointed out and Aizawa's brows knitted together, All Might blinking a few times. He had a valid point.

"Let's say, hypothetically, that this was the first time it has happened and that it was only because she was put in a near death experience, then it shouldn't be able to happen again. Am I right?" Nezu said.

"Yes, but-""-what if it happened even though she wasn't in the exact same situation? That's what you wanted to ask, right?" Aizawa grunted. "Unfortunately, we won't be able to tell whether it will or will not happen. What I can say is that she'll become suspicious if we refuse to let her participate and only affirm the enemy's conclusions," Nezu stated.

"My suggestion is that we still let her participate, but keep a very close eye on her during the festival. If we continue like we aren't suspecting anything, then it will make our enemies wonder and doubt themselves," Nezu concluded.

Aizawa frowned deeply and briefly closed his eyes. He still didn't like the idea of putting her in obvious danger despite agreeing with what the principal said. It was a difficult situation. He was going to have to be alert at all times to keep her safe.

"If I see anything strange, I'm pulling her out of the tournament," Aizawa said, his voice stern and his eyes showed that there was no arguing against it. Nezu smiled and nodded, enjoying the last of his tea before he sighed in satisfaction.

"That's fine by me," Nezu said and then looked at All Might. "I'll leave her in the both you and Aizawa-san's capable hands. Please guide her in this hazardous time. It's our first priority to protect the students, even if it is just one." All Might nodded, Aizawa grunting in reply.

There was no doubt about what had to be done.
