Man I can't believe how much I've been writing lately. The last couple chapters have been a little boring since it's just them getting to the North Pole but these next ones will have a lot of stuff going so. This is a short chapter but will be followed by long ones. Anyways enjoy!

It was a nice spring day, somewhere in the Earth Kingdom. Aang and Katara had enjoyed a nice picnic and were now laying on the grass. Katara had her head on Aang's chest and he had his arm around her.

She began to trace small circles on his clothes and taught about how happy she was at this moment. They would exchange small kisses every now and then.

The only sound you could hear was the wind and the birds. It was so peaceful. "Hey, wanna know what I was thinking about?" the waterbender asked lovingly. "What?" the airbender replied with a soft smile.

"Since I was little girl, my grandma would always tell me stories of the "great and almighty Avatar." I would often go to sleep at night and fantasize about one day the Avatar returning and bringing peace to the world. And no matter what everyone said I never lost hope in that." She paused and turned to face him.

"And who would've imagined. That the "great and powerful Avatar" would end up becoming my boyfriend." She said with a chuckle. He laughed along too to the irony.

"Well who would've imagined that the girl that I had the world's biggest crush on would one day call me her boyfriend." Katara smiled to his comment and placed a soft kiss on his lips. Aang took his hand to caress her cheek and pulled her face back to him for a more passionate kiss.

Present Day

"Here we are, the Spirit Oasis. I hope your mission goes well." Chief Arnook said and then gave a respectful bow to the group of friends as he exited.

They all looked around at the oasis and walked towards the pond that was home to the moon and ocean spirits. "Well, this is it. So what do we do now?" Sokka asked and everyone looked over to Katara.

"Aang told me once that it's very hard for humans to enter the Spirit World. But the best way to travel there is by being guided by a spirit." She then looked over to the koi fish in the pond.

"So what are you saying? Do we just get in the pond and the spirits will just take us there?" Sokka asked with an unsure tone. "Maybe?" his sister replied while tilting her head to the side.

Toph had a worried look on her face, "Guys, I think it's better if I stay." Sokka looked over to his girlfriend in surprise to her words, "What? Why?"

"Well, since we can't use our bending abilities while we're there, how am I suppose to know what's going on?" she said as she waved her hand in front of her pale eyes. "I'll just slow you guys down and we can't have that with Aang's life on the line. It'll be better if I stay here with Momo and wait for you guys to come back."

The group all looked at each other with worry for now having one less person with them on this journey. "Wow I hadn't even taught of that." Sokka replied with a low voice. "It hadn't even crossed my mind until Zuko brought up the whole "no bending" thing yesterday."

"Okay then, so Toph will stay and wait for us to return." Zuko reassured and the blind earthbender nodded.

Everyone began to walk towards the water. Before Sokka joined them he went up to Toph and kissed her with much passion, afraid of what could happen on his journey. He put his arms around her lower back and held her close. He didn't want to let go yet, but he knew he had to.

The watertribe warrior parted from her lips and smiled softly. She smiled to his actions, "Okay, not that I'm complaining but what was that for?"

"I just wanted to leave you with a little taste of me." He responded with a grin trying to cover up the real reason. Toph sensed he was lying however, "Uh-uh, if you even think about the possibility of you not coming back you better tell me so that I can smack you in the head. You are not, and I repeat, not allowed to die while you're there. Or Sokka I swear, I will go to the Spirit World myself bring you back to life, just to kill you again for dying! Did I make myself clear?" She said while she scabbed her finger into his chest.

"Yes, ma'am." He replied with a grin. The boomerang guy then followed the rest of the group. They all entered the pond and waited for something to happen.

"So what do we just stand here like a bunch of idio-" Zuko was then cut off by all of them being sucked into the water.

Toph's eyes then widened to everyone being there one second and gone the next. She sat on the grass and took her supplies bag. The earthbender looked over to the flying lemur next to her. "So... you want some food?"

"Ahhh!" the whole group screamed as they were falling down. They suddenly hit the ground hard began to groan in pain.

Katara opened her eyes lightly and looked up to find a majestic spirit made up of white and gold colors. "Are you- are you Janan?"

"Indeed I am, and you must be Katara." She nodded slightly to the spirit's words. "I've been waiting for you, and so has the Avatar." Katara then grew a smile to the mention of Aang.
