"Enough! You are brothers! Sam! He is your brother!" Sue shouted from the porch crying. Everyone froze. Embry got off Sam slowly and Sam backed away breathing hard. Both covered in cuts and bruises. Everyone was so shocked they couldn't find the words to speak.

"Mom what are you talking about!?" Leah asked devastated. Her world crumbled around her and she felt as if it was the truth.

"I saw Joshua Uley years ago with Embry's mom and her baby out. It was obvious they were together not to mention he looks exactly like Joshua." Harry answered from his wheelchair.

"A pale face version." Brady snickered getting a glare from Jake.

"I am sorry I should have told everyone years ago. But it wasn't my business. And he has been gone for many years." Harry explained.

"Gone! He has been stalking my mom and me off and on for the throughout the years. She gives him money whenever he gets too close. The only reason he has left is because my grandfather and mom have paid him to stay the fuck away!" Sam yelled punching a tree. Harry winced at that.

"I didn't know this Sam. I am immensely sorry." Harry coughed out through a coughing rage. Leah instantly went over to her dad and Embry wanted to but he knew not to get near her at the moment.

"Sorry! Sorry for what! Keeping the fact from all of us that I have a brother! I am sure Leah would have like to know that before she got in bed with him!" Sam said throwing his hands up in the air.

"Stop blaming this on Harry! He told me a while ago!" Embry spat stepping in front of Sam.

"You knew!" Leah and Sam exclaimed at the same time. Everyone else stepped back as this was becoming family related.

"Lee I can explain! I just didn't want to freak you out! I wanted to make sure you were out of this pack and then I would fight for my way out if I had to!

"You were conspiring to leave this pack?" Sam asked shocked as members of the pack shifted uncomfortably.

"I take that as most of you were." Sam bit back betrayed.

"Sam it just makes us stronger under Jake. I stood by you with Nessie and Bella and I'll always be your second. We just can't continue on like divided." Jared explained and Sam nodded stubbornly acting like he was not hurt or disappointed or pissed. W

"It doesn't matter either way Embry. I can't if you are his brother." Leah whispered tearing up and trying to back away from Embry.

"Why does it matter Lee? So what if we are brothers? So what? His dad fucked my mom so what? He is imprinted to your cousin. It's the reason you left to begin with! Just let that go!" Embry begged trying to get her to him. He knew he just had to get her in his arms.

"Tell him the reason Leah." Sam gestered. She glared at him.

"Sam I will fucking kill you if you say another goddamn word!" She snarled looking like she could have absolutely murdered him. Her body began to tremble and her tears were now tears of anger.

"Whoa what reason?" Seth asked confused.

"Tell them Leah." Sam barked with slight tears in his eyes as well.

"Sam not another fucking word. I hate you if you do this!" She spat. The anger and tension between Sam and Leah was so strong the group backed off.

"Tell them or I will." Sam threatended.

"You promised me! After everything you have ever put me through I learned to forgive you! I forgave you and Emily. I was there when you ripped her face open! Even then I stood by you! But if you mention this I will hate you and never forgive!" Leah cried out.

"Leah a bit has changed since now you are fucking my brother. What you want to repeat this all over again with him? Remember how broken we both were! It broke you so much you left your dad here!" Sam yelled with such venom that the whole pack was shocked. Leah's hand connected with his face.

"Damn, bet that felt good." Sam spat out the blood.

"I shouldn't have done that." Leah shook backing away from him.

"Leah…" Sam began to say as he reached out to her. She slowly backed away from him and got closer to Seth.

"Sam and I were in love but that's not the reason he asked me to marry him and it wasn't the reason I had said yes." Leah let out as she began so silently cry. Everyone looked confused.

"Leah were you pregnant?" Sue said wrapping her arms around Leah and Leah fell to the ground sobbing. Sue put two and two together leaving Leah and Sam just staring at each other. Sam wanted to comfort her with all his might but he knew it was a bad call in the moment.

Just like that Embry's whole world flipped. She was pregnant all those years ago and no one knew.

"My whole life changed when she told me. We were scared but decided we could do it. But then Emily came to town because of the engagement and I imprinted. Leah thought I was cheating on her." Sam stated softly.

"I know now it wasn't up to you. It was just fate. Nothing more." Leah said as he slowly approached her. She let him take her hand.

"I am sorry Lee Lee." He whispered. She squeezed his hand softly and nodded.

"Me too Sam." She whispered back holding his hand.

"I thought I had to do it alone so I left to get some air for a bit but then…" Leah's voice faltered. Tears ran out of her eyes.

"The baby didn't make it." Seth finished for her. She shook her head no as Sam hugged her into him. She cried into his chest and the pack saw some tears escape Sam's eyes.

"So I was alone thought he had left me for my cousin and just had a awful miscarriage. I didn't know what to do so I stayed gone. I called Sam and told him and told him I wasn't coming back and he should move on." She shrugged as Sam helped her stand up. Embry realized then he almost had a neice or nephew but it wasn't meant to be. He felt awful because he felt selfish for all of it. He felt selfish because he still wanted to be with her.

"I want you to move on Leah and be happy. I do get jealous but we were friends before all of this. I do want you to move on." Sam respsonded to her stepping away.

"Just it can't be with me." Embry choked out. His voice seemed so distant that they had almost not heard it. Leah's heart broke when she glanced at him. He looked heartbroken, defeated and lifeless.
