I apologize if I was slow to publish the last chapters of this story; I was distracted with my other stories and enjoying the fourth season of BIG MOUTH the Netflix series that motivated me to write this story. I also finished watching all the chapters of Steven Universe a cartoon that did not catch my attention from the first day it was released and now that I watched all the seasons I regret what I said about this series now I have to look for the movie and finally I enjoyed the trailer of my second favorite movie "The Boss Baby 2" when I watched the commercials I thought it was a joke about the trailer (since the last season of his series on Netflix premiered last month) but when I saw the trailer I was happier I hope to watch it On cinemas

The Value Of Friendship
Halloween is a memorable day for all the boys and girls who went trick-or-treating in the city of Rio de Janeiro for the first time; they all got a little scare or a trick. But not for Jewel, Blu and Roberto, who lived the worst Halloween of their lives, the information about the fight reached all corners of the school. Some rumored that Jewel cheated on Roberto, that Blu abused the girlfriend of the most attractive boy of all and the least possible rumor Blu and Jewel had a secret relationship
The days had passed and the great final soccer tournament had arrived, the first classes were canceled so that all the students could watch the game, the teachers made bets with the school cooks, half of the teachers bet that their school would lose in the tournaments and the other half bet they would win the tournament the loser would have to prepare breakfast for all the students (which would be chosen by the school cooks) wash and clean the cafeteria after discovering the winner
"I still can't believe we won the tournament!" Josefina celebrated with great emotion, taking off her sneakers in the women's dressing room
"Today will be a memorable day for all of us!" yelled Ana
"Yes!" shouted all the women
"It's a shame that Jewel couldn't play" confessed Jaqueline with a sarcastic voice
"Yes it's a real shame" answered Kimberly causing everyone to laugh while winking at Jaqueline causing Ana to get upset
"Hey, Gaby you haven't said anything" asked Rosa "are you feeling okay?
"Sorry girls. The effort to play made my head ache "Gaby looks at Jaqueline seriously
"Girls!" a woman spoke outside the girls' locker room "the boys are about to play the second half of the game! Let's cheer them on! "
"If they win the tournament, it will be a double victory," Josefina said after hearing the announcement.
All the women left the rest area to watch their male partners play except for Gaby who grabbed Jaqueline from behind before she left with the others. Threatening her with a serious look "You think you're the rudest girl in school! Leg bent!
"Are you still screwing me with that?" Jaqueline pushes Gaby with a strong push
"I don't know what damage you did to Nigel, but if you hurt him again, I'll break both of your legs."
"Awww ... even with your sweet voice I feel more sorry for you Gaby" Jaqui replied with a tender voice making fun of the cockatoo
"How could you hurt someone like Nigel?"
"I didn't hurt that useless shit!" I respond losing patience "I don't know what he told you about me but I never hurt him"
"So why did you betray him?" Gaby asked "he was your friend"
"I didn't betray Nigel!" Jaqui repeats "I did the right thing by getting away from him for my own good"
Flashback
"I think this orange juice is a bit bitter" said Nigel in an evil voice as he cornered three small children with blue and black feathers "it does not matter if I ask them for some money" two of the three children ran away the smallest stayed With the bully alone with no other escape the boy gave Nigel some bills he had saved when he showed him the money. Nigel pushed the boy away from him with an evil laugh. "I know I'm not the most handsome boy in the world, but before the girls gave me tickets in exchange for a kiss Ahhh ... Those days were of glory"
"Are you still fantasizing about your canceled shows?" I speak a female voice
"And you still fantasize about being a normal person?" Nigel responded by acknowledging the person who had spoken "it was about time you arrived"

"You think I'm stupid!" Nigel lost patience with his friend

"Don't lie" Nigel looks at Jacqueline seriously "You're defending the kids from the bullies!"
"I only teach them what you taught me" protested the girl with dark purple eyes
"I taught you to fight to get revenge on those brats who tortured you" corrected the Cockatoo "not to protect the weakest!"
"I have what I want!" Jaqueline agreed: "I knocked out Leslie so she would learn not to mess with me! But ... I don't want the whole world to hate me"
"I thought you had changed, but no" he looks at her with hatred and disappointment "you are weak, stupid and a worthless disabled person!"
"I do not care!" Jaqui answered with more force "I will not hurt others unless they provoke me!"

Meanwhile, in the school seats, Eva watched the game with Pablo, Leslie, Pedro, Nathaniel and Lila. The presence of visitors from competitive schools filled the seats on the field. The men's team's final game was the center of everyone's attention, only one school would be the winner of the tournament.
"Come on Blu Sky!" Eva encouraged the team "Wooojuuu…!
"Calm girl in love" spoke Pedro "barely 15 minutes go into the second half of the game and Rafael still can't score a goal to tie the game"
"I don't know if they have noticed it but Roberto does not have much courage to play" confessed Pablo looking from afar at Roberto running on the field showing a sad and painful look

"Blu has been very distracted in the game and I don't blame him", Pedro spoke with a flirtatious voice looking askance at Leslie with a daring look remembering the dogging he did at Roberto's house
"For the last time I won't go out with you" Leslie repeated in an irritating voice as Pedro looked at her flirtatiously.
"We'll see what happens" the cardinal spoke in a low voice "bitch"
While the students watched the big game, on the soccer field the Blu Sky men's team played with all the effort and energy they had saved to tie the game except for two players of the same species. Roberto did not have much courage to play, smile or look for the ball still could not overcome what happened with Jewel at her party the presence of the boy who kissed his girlfriend made him feel more hatred for him and for his girlfriend who is probably in a relationship romantic according to school rumors.
"Robert!" yelled Frank the blue and purple feathered parakeet calling the attention of his playmate to take the ball before the opposing team took it. Roberto reacted late as a dark feathered macaw snatched the ball

"What the hell are you doing Blu?" Rafael asked inside his mind when he saw the action of his blue friend
"Can you continue?" the referee asked the injured player
"No" confessed the boy from the opposing team holding his left foot "my heel hurts too much" with no other option the referee draws a red card for the team Blu Sky
Blu Sky just got his first red card; this is not good at all ladies and gentlemen.
That boy from number 15 has a defenseless strength if I were him at this moment I would try to control my competition impulses
Away from everyone else, Jewel watched what happened on the playing field; Roberto's sadness was affecting all the players at her school. They had spent more than 48 hours without speaking and Jewel was afraid of losing the only true friend who supported her in everything she wanted, good or bad Roberto would always support Jewel with anything "you are the only true friend who has supported me in all Roberto. Roberto thought about it for a moment, he knew that Jewel had been wrong but she was not the only one responsible, Blu accepted that he was carried away by the moment and promised not to intervene in their relationship. "Why did Roberto leave the game?" Leslie asked after seeing what happened to Roberto and Blu.

"I think so" Lila spoke thinking how Blu managed to get close to Roberto without receiving another blow from him.
"That was strange" said Eva "Why would I leave the game?"
"I have no idea" answered Nath
As the game continued, Roberto searched for Jewel in the hallways of the school that were empty. The whole school was watching the final game. "Joya" Roberto spoke walking through the main hall of the school there were three places to find her the bathroom, the dining room and the classroom
Roberto heard a few small steps running and a small squeak from a dragged chair followed the noise until he reached his classroom where he found Jewel reading a book showing a nervous and embarrassed face

"I never had a secret relationship with Blu, Roberto!" Jewel looks at Roberto with a little seriousness "he and I are nothing" gets up from his seat
"That's not what you were saying when that girl in a pumpkin costume found you on top of Blu!"
"I would never sleep with that silly nerd!" The Spix Macaw girl clarified "if you don't believe me! Why don't you ask him? "
"I wanted to fix things with you Juju but you don't seem to admit that you made a mistake" Roberto shed some tears "That is not the girl I fell in love with" shows his back
Jewel did not know what to say with Roberto's words, everything was true, she did not accept her mistake, nor did she accept the joy of that moment with Blu. Her love relationship with Roberto would not be the same if they continued to fight, distance themselves and hate each other more if they continued to be boyfriends.
"I felt hurt, betrayed and upset" Roberto said after controlling his tears "did you think you would forgive yourself immediately?"

"Why do you think that?" Roberto asked confused by Jewel's words turning to her.
"Because you are my best friend and you always accepted my mistakes!" Jewel responded with a few tears.

"I know and that's why I don't want to continue with this" confessed the sapphire-eyed woman with more sincerity and with more tears.
"What are you trying to say by that?"
"Roberto, you are the only person who knows everything about me (sigh) you are the only person with whom I would ask for support in the worst and best moments of my life, you are my best friend, you make my life not horrible with your supports and encouragement that you give me every time something happens to me "Jewel confessed with sincerity and with some tears" with all this ... I mean ... we should just be friends
"To friends…
"I prefer to fight, get away and curse you being only friends" small sigh "because if we are a couple it will be more painful and difficult to face"
"Jewie I really love you ... I love you with all my heart" Roberto puts his hands on Jewel's shoulders "I have always loved you since we were children I want you to be my wife, the mother of my children and much more"
"But not me," Jewel confesses in a low, painful voice. "Our friendship is strong and unique, that's why it is called forbidden love." She slowly removes Roberto's hands from her shoulders.
They both cried silently, neither of them dared to look into each other's eyes. Roberto felt his heart break in two, he loved Jewel more than anything in the world, but he was right, their friendship was stronger than love and he couldn't deny it. If he kept fighting for her, he would only make them turn away from each other with all the pain in his heart. Roberto accepted the truth that Jewel was not the only one.
"I will always love you Jewel" Roberto spoke taking both of Jewel's hands and looking into her eyes "never doubt that and the boy you choose as a husband will love you, protect you and do anything to make you happy"
"And the girl you choose to share your life with will make you feel like the luckiest man in the world" Jewel holds Roberto's hands
"I know ... but that girl will not be you" replied Roberto shedding a small tear
Jewel couldn't help but give her dear friend Roberto a hug, they both shed tears, it was not easy for Roberto to leave the only woman who filled his life with joy. Jewel was his world, his only one, but if they were still dating, their fights and disagreements would cause loss. of the most valuable thing that they considered in their life "His friendship"
Blu Sky will go to penalties with Villahermosa secondary!

"You can kiss your girlfriend after the game" claimed the red bird "now we are going to start the penalties in five minutes" Roberto and Felipe left the classroom leaving Jewel alone thinking about what happened
"You are the most tender, kind, handsome and fantastic man of all Roberto but I think we are not made for each other"
