Chapter 14

6 months later

Everything has been going great for everyone 6 months after the drama with Bi-Han was put to a permanent end. In December Mileena and Tanya got married in a small ceremony held at the Khan estates. Yūgi and Yami were bridesmaids and it was a surprisingly nice ceremony and Mileena for a long time was truly happy and everyone was happy for her.

Ryou has moved out of the Lin Kuei compound and into Seto's mansion getting ready for their upcoming wedding at the end of the year. The couple are getting ready to build a life and family of their own.

With Seto's blessing and Yami and Yasha's magic Ryou is now able to conceive and carry a child and they just found out the spell worked and they're expecting a child together that will be here in time for their wedding.

Kuai Liang is also in a relationship with the Grandmaster of the Shrai Ryu, Hanzo Hasashi. Only a few people in the Lin Kuei knew Kuai Liang was interested in men, which is something he never told his brother because Bi-Han was very homophobic to the point that Bi-Han and Ryou nearly came to blows due to his relationship with Seto (in which Seto was close to beating the shit out of Bi-Han).

Yugi always knew about her uncle's sexuality and kept quiet out of respect for her uncle. After Bi-Han's death is when Kuai Liang told the council, which surprisingly had no issue with his sexuality, but they did make it clear to Hanzo if he hurt Sub Zero (he took his grandfather's mantle from Bi-Han because he's more worthy of the name Sub Zero and everyone agreed) he would answer to them. They have been dating for the past 4 months and he was truly happy with Grandmaster Hasashi and that's what matters the most.

In February Bakura and Malika welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Akeifa Rishid Vrbada and he's the spitting of both parents with his father's snow white hair except he has his mother's lilac eyes and darker skin tone and every bit as adorable. Yugi and Yasha were there for the birth of their nephew as well as Ryou, Seto, Tomas and Yami.

Akeifa was a miracle baby in every sense as like Yugi, her odds of being able to conceive a child were low due to the repeated sexual trauma she suffered at the hands of her father. Malika had to deliver Akeifa through C- section and her pregnancy was closely monitored by the same doctor that will deliver Yugi and Yasha's child, Dr Fujin Alucard.

Yami and Deus's relationship had become serious and they're very much in love and very happy. Just last month Deus proposed to Yami and to no one's surprise she said yes. It's ironic that the man her parents tried to force her to marry at age 15 is the same man she ended up falling for nearly 30 years later, but it worked out because she's with him because she loves him not out of obligation.

As for Yugi and Yasha, the couple decided to go ahead with the wedding in February, which was when they originally planned to do it in the beginning. However they didn't have the wedding in Thailand due to Yugi's pregnancy being high risk she was advised against traveling more than 7 hours at a time, which the couple took seriously because similar to Malika, Yugi's odds of having children was low due to her injuries she suffered from her brutal attack in 2015. Also they decided to have their wedding on Valentine's Day in Honolulu and honeymoon since Yasha's birthday was just 2 days later, which was February 16th.

It was a small but beautiful wedding and the couple couldn't be happier.

It was now late March and Yugi was due any day. Yugi was now at home and has been on maternity leave since the end of February and she was going nuts. Her now husband was at work at the military base and Yami was keeping her daughter company along with Malika and her infant son.

" I can't wait to have this baby, this kid has been doing somersaults," Yugi said as she was rubbing her now enlarged stomach.

" I know the feeling. Akeifa was busy the last few months of my pregnancy and was all over the place," Malika commented.

" I can't tell you how proud I am of both of you young ladies, you both overcame so much and you both have wonderful supporting husbands and you both have the happiness you deserve", Yami commented. Yami also sees Malika as a daughter and Akeifa as her grandson she practically raised Bakura, seeing how she known him and Ryou almost their entire lives and yes he occasionally drove her nuts as well, but unlike Bi-Han he has nothing but respect for the woman that has always been there for him as well as most of the children of the Lin Kuei.

"We aren't the only ones who overcame a lot and managed to find happiness, Aunt Yami," Malika stated.

"She's right mom. You managed to be a wonderful mother and person despite the fact that you were stuck in an unhappy marriage the last few years, "Yugi commented then continued." I'm glad you decided to walk away and met someone who appreciates don't give yourself enough credit."

"It is kinda ironic that someone my parents forced me to marry a man that I would end up falling for and become engaged to nearly 30 years later and I'm glad he agreed you should be with someone because you want to be with them instead of being with someone out of obligation. I haven't been this happy with anyone in years," Yami said.

"So, what should we have for lunch-ow," Yugi yelled out in pain and then she wet her pants, "Mom, Malika I think it's time," Yugi said as she felt another sharp pain.

"Malika go get the car, I'll grab her overnight bag !" Yami yelled out. Malika grabbed Akeifa and quickly made her way to the parking garage. Yami then called her son in law.

Yasha: Fort Bamastra, General Indra speaking

Yami: YUGI IS IN LABOR MEET US AT THE HOSPITAL !

Yasha: WHAT ! ARE YOU SURE !?

Yami: YES I'M SURE! GET YOUR ASS IN GEAR AND GET TO THE HOSPITAL !

Yasha: I'LL CALL THE DOCTOR I'M LEAVING NOW.

6 hours later . . .

"YASHA IF YOU EVEN THINK OF HAVING SEX WITH ME AGAIN I'LL BEAT THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF YOU !" Yugi yelled out from the labor pains she endured for 6 hours and was getting more intense. She was used to pain but this was a new level of pain she could never get used to. Yasha wasn't bothered by the yelling and cursing; he knew it was the labor pains that were making her snap out.

In the waiting room there was Yami, Kuai Liang, Ryou, Malika, Bakura, Durga and Asura.

"I hope everything is going okay," Ryou commented.

"Everything is fine from all the yelling it seems the labor is going the way it should", Yami commented.

"Okay Yugi it's time to push," Fujin said after she was dilated enough to push the baby out. Then after about 20 minutes of pushing, they heard a tiny cry and then the nurse rushed to grab blankets to retrieve the tiny creature Yugi pushed out.

" Congratulations it's a boy," Fujin said as they quickly cleaned off the baby boy and gave him to his mother. The baby has the same skin tone as both parents, he had his mother's tricolor hair and his father's hazel eyes.

Yasha and Yugi finally see the little miracle that was a product and everlasting reminder of their love. Soon everyone came into the hospital to see the beautiful baby boy. Yasha was holding his son in amazement and joy.

" Everyone meet our son, Heba Arslan Indra," Yasha said with so much pride and happiness that can be seen from a mile away. Then Yasha walked towards everyone and went from person to person starting with Yami.

"Heba, this is your grandma Yami." Yami had tears of joy in her eyes as she held her precious grandson.

"Hi little one," Yami cooed as she kissed her grandson on his tiny forehead then handed him back to his father. Then he went to Asura and Durga.

" This is your aunt Durga and Uncle Asura."

" Brother he's so beautiful," Durga said with a huge smile on her face.

"He is pretty adorable," Asura said smiling at his nephew.

Then Yasha went to the next person, "This is your great uncle, Kuai Liang, Your uncles Ryou and Bakura and your aunt Malika and cousin Akeifa." They all held the baby boy and when baby Akeifa saw his cousin he smiled and slightly giggled. Then it was time to give Heba back to his mommy so she can nurse him.

Because Yugi chose to defy her father she found the man of her dreams that loved her and stayed by her side and refused to back down to her father and anyone else who tried to stand in their way of happiness. Yasha refused to accept his fate of being heartbroken by women who didn't love him, his depression and addiction and decided to give love one more chance when he met the woman who he ended up falling in love with, marrying and starting a family with.

They're love truly defied all odds and now they have a bond that no one will be able to break and a love that will stand against the test of time.

"Forever I will love you, for there is nothing in this world I want to do but love you

And to be with you, now and forever. Till the oceans dry, till the sun dims, I'll still be loving you forever and eternity"
