Next morning, Wyatt insisted she should take it easy. Sam couldn't help but remembering how he'd gotten when she was pregnant with Julian and Meghan; he barely let her out of his sight. She surely hoped he wouldn't be the same way now.

"I'll go get some groceries, we're running low on diapers… I'll be back soon. Why don't you stay in bed? Kids are still sleeping. I'm sure I'll be back before breakfast time"

"Honey, I'm fine. I'll be fine"

"You said it yourself. You already ended up in the hospital once"

"I was over 20 years away from my medication!"

"Please…"

"I hate it when you give me that pouty face" she said putting her palm on his face and then kissing him, to his delight. "OK" he left after stealing another kiss from her lips. The store wasn't all that far, so he took the car keys and headed out. If anything happened, they would immediately text.

Sam tossed and turned in bed, feeling perfectly fine. After a while though, Meghan orbed all three of them to their mother's bed.

"Hey" she chuckled. "I can take a hint" she hugged and tickled them, blowing raspberries on their tummies. "Good morning, my sweethearts" she said holding on to Meghan, Julian tried hugging them both not really succeeding with his short little toddler arms. Angie crawled to them with the biggest smile on her face.

Kids started to get restless after a while, Sam knew it was because they were hungry, so she took them downstairs to get started on breakfast. Cartoons seemed to buy her a bit more time, so she clicked on some of their favorites and got Angie a bottle to hold her up. She drank it happily in her mother's arms, while Sam took the yogurt and some fruits out of the fridge. Then, she put Angie in her baby bouncer, next to her brother and sister, and started making her two year olds' breakfast trays.

She was still cutting up fruit, while boiling the water to poach the eggs, when Chris orbed in.

"Morning, sweetie" she said cutting up another banana.

"Morning. Mom and the aunts want to get together this evening to share what happened"

"I take it you're not particularly excited about it?"

"No, not really" he said taking a piece of strawberry from one of the trays. Sam slapped him hand and gave him a whole one from the bag.

"I gotta admit, it'll be good to be all on the same page again" she took a strawberry herself.

"Well, mom officially sent me to tell you to be there at 7:00" he saw the kids in the living room. "Where's Wyatt? Any of them? You guys normally do this stuff together"

"Well, Wyatt went to the store to get some stuff we need"

"And Future Wyatt?"

"He's…umh… at Brightest Blessings"

"Why?" he said mouth full of strawberry again.

"He wanted to give us some space, that's all" she started poaching the eggs. "I'll… umh… let him know about this evening" Chris took another look at the kids playing with Mega Blocks now, while Angie sucked on one.

"Hey…umh… can I talk to you?"

"Sure. What about?" Chris seemed troubled all of a sudden. "Everything alright, honey?" Sam placed the eggs on the trays.

"When the spell sent us away" he gulped and licked his lips feeling them dry. "I got thrown back into the 1700s"

"Wow. And here I was thinking I had it bad" she said pouring some yogurt to complete the babies' breakfast. "I, myself, was thrown back to the 2000s when Wyatt was a toddler himself" she said walking to the kids to put them up in their chairs. She held Julian and Chris took Angie, while Meghan orbed herself to the table. Sam kissed her head as she placed her brother next to her.

"Anyway" Chris went on. "I met this girl, Ama" they walked back to the kitchen to bring the children's meals to the table.

"That name kinda rings a bell" she said holding two kiddie food trays, putting a plate with some baby oats and frozen banana sticks for Angie onto Chris' hands.

"It should. She was your ancestor" Sam considered him for a second, while adjusting the kids' bibs.

"That's… interesting?"

"Tell me about it" said Chris. "The thing is…"

"You want some coffee?" she asked walking back to the kitchen.

"Sure" Sam started setting the coffee maker. "I fell for her" She stopped on her tracks, putting down the coffee filter for a second before placing it into the machine.

"Umh… OK…" Sam turned to face him. "Sweetie. I'm not even sure what to make of that"

"I know. I can barely make sense out of it myself, but…" he mouthed a couple times trying to get the right words out, unsure what those could be.

'Chris, are you sure you…?" he nodded. Sam sighed. "I'm so sorry. I'm sorry you got to feel this for someone who can't even be here" she started putting everything away. "I wish there was something…"

"There might be" interrupted Chris.

"What do you mean?"

"Ama was your ancestor. You could summon her spirit so I can talk to her"

"I don't know Chris. That might make more damage than good"

"Please, I just wanna talk to her. We kinda left things unsaid and I won't be able to let it go… or at least try to let it go, until I know she knows exactly what she means to me"

"Chris, I don't…"

"Please, only you could do it. She's your blood"

"Chris, we've got… some… serious stuff going on at the moment. I don't know if the time is right for unsolved issues with the ancestors"

"I can't just forget about it…"

"Honey, I know but…"

"You know what?" said Wyatt crossing the threshold, loaded with brown paper bags. Sam went over to her husband, ignoring the question.

"Did you get the teething toy for Angie?" she asked trying to take a couple of the bags from his arms.

"I got it" he said without letting go of them. He walked to the counter and put them down. "I found this pink hand and this purple fruity one" he took out the toys and showed them to her.

"Thanks" she said taking them both to wash in the sink.

"What's going on?" Wyatt asked his brother.

"You should really talk to your brother" Sam said taking the diapers out of the bags. "I'll take these up"

"I got it" said Wyatt.

"Wyatt. Stop. Baby, I'm fine. I promise" she hugged him.

"I'm sorry. I'm just a little nervous about this whole situation"

"Something I need to know?" said Chris. "You're acting weird, even by your usual mushy standards" Wyatt and Sam exchanged looks.

"Well… I'd love it if he was the first to know" she told Wyatt. He nodded an OK to her.

"We're… pregnant again" he told his brother.

"Seriously?" asked Chris. "That's great. Congrats"

"I'll take the diapers" Sam took both packs. "And, you talk to your brother!" she said before Wyatt had anything to object.

"Who you're talking to?" asked Chris.

"Both!" Sam said already going up the stairs.

"Why are you so nervous about this? She's done it a couple times already" Chris said looking back at the children finishing their breakfast.

"It's complicated" said Wyatt putting some of the stuff he brought in the fridge. "What were you guys talking about?" Both of them trying to avoid being on the hot spot.

"I'll tell you mine, if you tell me yours" said Chris crossing his arms. Wyatt sighed.

"OK… but you can't tell anyone"

"Ditto"

"The baby's was conceived by my future self… and it worries me it might hurt her" he added trying to soften the impact of the statement.

"You mean…? Whoa…" he could see Wyatt was deeply troubled by this. He wasn't sure he wanted to know the details behind that… ever.

"So… what's up?" said Wyatt to his brother, in a hurry to be out of the spotlight.

"I fell in love, like for real, with a woman from the 1700s"

"Whoa…umh…you…?"

"Sure? Yeah" said Chris. "And she was one of Sam's ancestors"

"Oh my God…umh…yeah…" said Wyatt pacing back and forward with no real direction. "That's… complicated too"

"Sucks to be us right now, bro, huh?"

"I'll say" Wyatt held on to the kitchen counter for stability, taking a couple deep breaths.

000000000000000000000000000000

By the time Sam came back down, they were arguing while cleaning after the kids, who were happily back with their toys.

"Chris, this is just not a good time for her to be doing any spells, specially any kind of time related spells!"

"Why? We literally do this all the time!"

"And still, we run into some problems ourselves" he said throwing a kitchen towel at his brother to wipe the table and the chairs with him. "I can't expose them, right now! I literally just got her back. Not to mention, it was thanks to a time spell gone wrong! In case you forgot!"

"Don't you think I understand that, Wyatt? I just got back myself! I just never thought I would be feeling like this"

"Chris, believe me. I get it. I really do, but we can't help you with this right now!"

"Fine!" said Chris frustrated, throwing the kitchen towel on the table, staring furiously at his brother.

"OK. I take it you talked" she said going to sit on the couch behind them.

"I'm sorry your future self put you both in this situation, I really am, but…"

"You told him?" asked Sam slightly shocked.

"Yes, he should understand talking to someone from 300 years ago, isn't exactly a priority for us at the moment!"

"OK. I'm with you" she said walking up to her beloved. "You're acting out of love for us" he nodded and kissed her. "But… isn't he as well?"

"Sam. It's too risky, right now to even attempt to…"

"I agree with that, but… can't we at least consider helping him? Maybe not right away, but help him?" Wyatt took a deep breath, and looked at his brother.

"We'll talk about it, OK?"

"Thank you" said Chris to both of them.
