Odd idea but I have seen odder. For a min there I thought Anakin and Padme had jumped in to Luke's and Leia bodies with Obi-Wan de-ageing and Mando appearing together in original trilogy era.
Would not have minded Luke being the one jumping in to Anakin body, there is one fic like that but don't like it, but have access to Anakin memories and skills and shoe he can handle that power better the Anakin ever did but that's not this fic.

I just realized, if Obi-Wan is not on Genosis, then Anakin and Padme don't have a reason to go there and thus no official reason to star the Clone Wars.
Since the storyline will focus on Mandalore, does this mean a possible Obi-Wan/Satine?
At the very least Obi-Wan will now hunt down Maul's corpse and get rid of it properly.

Going back in time, it would be extremely difficult to separate who people are at that moment from who they would become in the future and treat them according to who they are, and not according to your future "memories." That would probably diminish with time spent in their company, but it would always be there, especially if they turned out to have values opposed to your own.
At that, you'd come back with a whole different set of beliefs and values, very likely. Suddenly. People would goggle at the things you'd say. :)

They really should be calling the Jedi council setting up fail safes and getting ready should the worst happen. Like there should be more multiple back ups just in case. Also what are they gonna do on Mandalore the Clones won't take orders from them just because their cloned from a Mando. the push and pull from rex's perspective was so well written, I'm impressed! I really liked obi-wan's speech as well. though he's doing what he can to prevent a war, I'm really excited how everyone will perceive his actions (what would Anakin think? haha prolly that he better have stuck with obi-wan instead off going to naboo to babysit his offkilter master haha). hmm, this is an interesting story premise but the writing seems to be a bit scattered to the point where it is a little hard to follow along with what is happening and whose point of view it it. I would recommend slowing down the pace just a little bit to provide some more exposition to what is happening. For example with the end of this chapter have a scene where Kenobi and Mando are planning out the take-down of Palpatine so that we can follow more easily when it happens.

Damn, that was short but epic all the same. Between Mace, Yoda and Obi-Wan, plus the fact that he hasn't had a War to feed himself, Sidious was screwed. At least Mando got to enact the killing blow.
Palpatine is gone, but the galaxy still has no shortage of threats Obi-Wan is likely aware of. Particularly Pre Viszla and Maul. But then there are numerous Legends/EU threats. Let's face it, the First/Final Orders and even Snoke were all Palpatine, so then you'd have no foes waiting in the wings if you're planning on going simply for "Canon". As repulsive and infuriating as I found it...
You're not gonna hold back on Bo-Katan are you? She embraced the Death Watch code of "never letting the weak tell you what to do." killing and ransacking defenseless villages. If it'd been Viszla in charge of Mandalore instead of Maul, she would have had nothing to say.

It's always good to see an appropriately haunted Obi-Wan when it comes to time travel involving him, when he tries so hard to fix what he has with Anakin, but he just can't let what he did in his past go.
I'm looking forward to what Ahsoka becomes under the tutelage of Obi-Wan, Satine, maybe the Mandalorian, and the Clones. She always had it in her to become what she did in Rebels, but it'll take a lot more coaxing out in this timeline. She isn't being forced to take ten levels in badass before she's even reached adulthood.
I hope you focus more chapters on Din Djarin in the future, as fun as Obi-Wan centrism is, I wanna see Din trying to be a single father while dealing with the New Mandalorians and their special brand of bullshit.
Mostly, I kinda want to see him say "This is not the way", or maybe he finds himself a single father to 2 million clones, because Jango Fett isn't there, and if he was, it's an even split on Din killing him, or being happy to finally have someone he can kriffing relate to.
Oh wait, canon Jango isn't the badass Mandalorian that can kill Jedi with his bare hands. He's just some high profile bounty hunter that stole a set of Mandalorian armor from presumably, a dead Mando.
So Din is just going to kill him then.
Fair enough, canon Jango deserves to die, he's an insult to the badassness of the Mandalorians.

Wow. I have no other words other than wow. It's very rare for me to get invested in a fanfiction because most of the time authors just don't seem to understand the characters and they either make Anakin super whiney or they shit way too much all over the Jedi Order or they make Satine a helpless damsel in distress but you've captured it perfectly. I honestly don't know how else to describe it.
I can't wait for the next installment, I can't wait to see where this goes. I'm a huge Obitine fan and I've only found one other fanfiction besides this one that seems to do them any justice. I can't wait to see what will happen. Truly you are an incredible writer. I found this late at night while I was looking for something that I could read a few chapters of and then go to sleep while reading but holy shit did that not happen. What I found was that of a masterpiece that I couldn't put down. Incredible. I don't really know how else to describe it. I think I've said that already but who cares. Why am I under impression Anakin didn't fully grasp the idea Obi-Wan was talking about? I hope it'll be enough for him though and he will be either a good Jedi or a good husband and father.

Whew, Obi-Wan dropped a bombshell on Yoda there at the end. Turn around is fair play, what with the whole "you're going to leave the order" thing. :D I'm glad Obi-Wan is taking Ahsoka on. She will have fun on Mandalore. Especially with a Death Watch being annoyed. (Now, much like Dooku, Death Watch has a point...)
Obi and Ani. That's a tough conversation to have. It reminds me of the Obi-Wan has PTSD video. Seriously, how can one even move past all of that history? And worse, it's only on one side. Poor Anakin isn't who Obi-Wan remembers him being, so judging him by that measure isn't fair, but man, it would be so hard.

Do you plan on giving the clones Beskar armor instead of plasteel like they were given by the cloners on Kameno and adopting Mandalorian weapons and tactics to fight any kind of enemy and prevail?

A great chapter here, and I hope Obi Wan was able to get it through Anakin skull somewhat, and this will keep him from falling, while Obi and Ashoka will be a team that will be known throughout the galaxy one day.

Aw, that's so sweet. I love fics where Obi-Wan chooses Ahsoka, because I'm of the belief that he actually did originally want a new padawan for himself and Yoda just meddled, as he so often does.

Another good character building chapter, I enjoy all of the interactions. It's fun to see how many sentences it takes to remember which storyline is being advanced, usually it only takes a sentence or two.
