Kirito had a complete family of six at age 21. (Counting Kan.) Could life get any better, for him? His question that day was about to be answered. Today he wore a white suit jacket, white pants, black shoes, black vest, grey dress shirt, and black tie, all designed by Ashley. In fact, Ashley had made it her personal "fun" project to make all the best clothes in the wedding, including Asuna's dresses. There was a handkercheif in his pocket, he was standing at the edge of the ceremony, his Mom fussing over his hair, as he looked at the ceremony in the beautiful place. He knew Asuna was somewhere nearby in a house, with his sister, and his girl friends, as they were the bridesmaids, and his sister the maid of honor. He couldn't believe it, even though he had three children, and one apprentice, and got married twice, that he was going to marry Asuna in Floria, July 4th. It had cost a ridiculous amount of money, but Shouzou had insisted paying for the best. Kirito wiggled his left ring finger, missing that familiar weight, the ring that he had taken off yesterday for this ceremony.
Kirito looked at Klein with panicked eyes. "Yo man. You got this. I mean, even I'm supporting you, and I don't know how to top this wedding when Lisbeth and I get married...,"Klien told him knowing his best friend well. "You're much braver than me..."Recon added. "I really hope you don't end up like me when you get married to my sister,"Kirito answered. "I certainly hope not,"Midori put in. Recon immediately turned away and started shaking, and Kirito went red with embarrasment that his mother had popped in on a conversation like that.
Meanwhile, Asuna was fretting, as her friends admired her strapless dress, laced with blue, with long gloves up to her elbows, and a boquet of blue flowers matching her dress. Her veil hung behind her head, by a tiara, sparkling with blue jewels. Fake roses were strapped to her ankles with a pearled ankle bracelet. Her white high heels were pure white, plain and simple. "Do you guys really think I can do this?"she asked, already seeming breathless. "Asuna, this won't change anything. He just wants to make up what he didn't do and be romantic. Enjoy it!"Suguha reprimanded. "Although if you don't want to go down the aisle, I would gladly go for you!"Lisbeth added. "No! No! That certainly wouldn't do!"Yui interrupted, protectively. A very smart girl. Asuna laughed and relaxed a little. The bridesmaids were all in blue dresses, the same blue as the ribbons on Asuna's dress.
Shouzou and Kyouko walked in, Kyouko holding the twins, and Shouzou holding his hand out to Asuna, as Kan trailed in behind them, in his suit, that was exactly like Kirito's. "Ready?"Shouzou asked. Asuna took his hand. It was beginning.
Kirito watched as the two gold and blue coaches rolled on the pavement, and people piled out. The first to walk through the arch. Kiouchirou, across him mouthed to him good luck. First to come in was Recon accompanying Sinon, then Klein accompanying Lisbeth, Taren with Silica. Somehwere along the line, Kyouko slipped into the front row next to his mother, with Yuuki and Kichiro. Promptly, Kan and Yui walked down the aisle. Kirito's eyes lingered on the pillow of rings for a moment. Six rings.
However, his eyes didn't linger long. His heart almost stopped as he sucked in a breath. Asuna looked absolutely amazing, and her face was glowing with a rare smile, as she looke up at him. Instead of the traditional music played in a wedding, Asuna and Kirito had choosen something unique to them. Four pianos, two on each side of the audience were set up. Jun, Talken, Siune, and Nagata, who'd slipped away from the alter started playing. It was really a two piano peace, but as Jun, Siune, and Talken weren't very good, they played one part, and Nagata played the melody. Niji No Oto originally by Eir Aoi played.
Everything slowed down like when Kirito was fighting. He watched as Shouzou shot him a smile as he handed Asuna's hand to him. He heard as Agil announce, "Today, we are here to witness the first public, and third joining of Kazuto Kirigaya, Kirito Kirigaya, and Asuna Kirigaya-Yuuki, or Asuna Yuuki..." Finally, Agil asked Kazuto, "Since it is your intention to enter into marriage, join your right hands, and declare your consent,"Agil announced." "I, Kazuto Kirito Kirigaya, promise to do my best to protect you, forever, and wear these three rings signifying the three times we have been married, with me always,"Kirito vowed. Asuna smiled, and recited, "I, Asuna Kirigaya Yuuki promise to do my best to protect you, forever, and wear these three rings signifying the three times we have been married, with me always." "Will you, Kazuto Kirito Kirigaya, take Asuna in front of all of us, and publicly declare that you take her as your wife in bad times and good?" "I do,"Kazuto answered, time snapping from slow motion to fast motion. "Do you, Asuna Kirigaya Yuuki take Kazuto in front of all of us, and publicly declare that you take her as your husband in bad times and good?" "I do,"Asuna declared firmly.
Asuna places two plain silver bands, one new, one old, on Kirito's left hand, one on his ring finger, and one on his pinky. Then she put the last one, this time engraved with three swords, like the carving at the 55th floor square, and gold, as well, on his right ring finger. Kirito, in turn did the same. Agil announced, wringing out his hands, "I now declare you husband and wife! You ma-" He had no need to finish the sentence, because as Kirito reached for Asuna's waist, Asuna pulled him down to her level as well, so that they were both bent over at a ridiculous angle, of almost 90 degrees. Then their mouths met, and the crowd exploded in a roar. It was a defeaning roar, because most of the council was there, as long as anybody who wanted to, and all their friends, and admirers.
Kirito pulled away from Asuna, and pulled her up bridal style, as the Sleeping Knights, Recon, Suguha, Klein, Taren, Agil, Sinon, Silica, and even Kan and Yui flanked the aisle, pulling out weapons, forming an arch above the aisle, and Kirito carried Asuna down the aisle, bending low under Kan and Yui's swords, before marching to the coach, this time white and gold trimmed. The horses were a magnificent black, and Yui, and Kan climbed in with them, Kyouko rushing forward to hand them Yuuki and Kichiro as people snapped pictures of the family in the chariot. Finally, Kiouchirou, who had pulled on a white and gold tailcoat, with a white tophat that had a gold buckle hopped onto the coach, and drove off, toward YUI, where the Dining Hall had been changed into a banquet hall. The Kirigaya family waved as they were about to start a new life.
July 4 2029 Floor 47 Floria
Asuna walked out in a formal, but less puffy red dress, that had designs that resembled her KoB outfit. Kazuto had taken off the jacket of his suit, and sitting at the head table already, joking with Kan and Yui over the talking of the crowd, as well as rocking Yuuki and Kichiro, while accepting all the congratulations. Asuna allowed herself a small smile, before walking over to one of the DJ's, and whispered something in his ear.
Kirito saw Asuna walked out, and he thought she looked beautiful, in that red sundress, with all three rings on her finger, as she talked to the DJ, but he was too busy to go up and greet her. Yuuki and Kichiro were getting too old to be held with one hand, and were being fussy. All the congratulations were flooding in. Suddenly, there was a click, and the sound of the MC or DJ came on, "Alright! It's time to get the party started! But we're doing this celebration Kazuto and Asuna's way, so instead of the bride and groom doing the starting dance, we will have Kan, and Yui, two people very important to our newlyweds!" Kan's eyes widened and he gasped. Yui grinned, a grin that Kirito had, and pulled Kan out onto the dance floor. Having had a lot of time being an AI, and having access to vast amounts of knowledge, she knew exactly how to dance, pulling Kan into positions as all the adults watched the show. The song started playing, and Yui started moving gracefully, to Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars, like somebody would back in 2010. Kan started at first jerkily, and then started getting into it, doing did a black flip, dabbed with one arm then the other, and spun around, before twirling Yui. They danced in a perfectly matching but unchoreographed way.
Klein quickly brought Lisbeth out to the floor, and at first she just stared at him bust really bad dance moves before he stopped, embarrased, and she started dancing, really well. Shouzou got up, bowed towards Kyouko and held his hand out. They waltzed onto the dance floor, gracefully, and danced fancily. Finally, Asuna helped Kazuto place the their two kids the care of Siune and Midori, and walked into the dance floor as well. After that, the dance floor filled, and the songs got wild. Along the way, Asuna and Kazuto were lifted up on two chairs, as people chanted, "Lady Lightning Flash!" and, "Black Swordsman!" They were placed down, and everyone mobbed around them, pulling them onto their shoulders, and they went body surfing through the crowd. It was a wild night, one that everyone enjoyed. Klein worried he'd never top it. Lisbeth thought he should just get on with it. She didn't care. Kazuto hoped that this was enough for Asuna. Asuna thought that this was the dream.
