I don't know what happened but it seems like the upload didn't work so I hope this fixed it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
- With Haru and Gray-
"What the hell is wrong with you man?" Gray shouted in disgust. Seeing this owl-man swallow Haru wasn't something Gray ever thought he would see in his life.
"Capture complete," Fukuro said as he completely swallowed Haru, and his mouth returned to its original size.
"Why can't you just stay out of trouble Haru?" Gray asked himself.
"The digestive process will now begin, after that thee 'Salamander's' power will be mine to command," Fukuro hooted out.
"Give that flame brain back right now or things will get ugly," Gray said in a dark tone.
"I will bring you to justice with my power combined with your evildoer friend," Fukuro hooted.
"Ice-make: Lance" Gray called out, tired of this bird brain's delusional talk of justice. The icy lances rushed towards Fukuro at incredible speeds.
"Let's see how the 'Salamander's' powers work on ice," Fukuro said before tilting his head backwards in an all too familiar way. "Fire Dragon Roar" Fukuro called out. A stream of fire launched out of his mouth and incinerated the icy lances.
'This will be trouble,' Gray thought. It seemed like that roar was more powerful than the ones Haru had thrown at him during their many brawls yet something was off about it.
"Ice-make: Shield" Gray called out just before the roar hit him. The shield blocked the fire stream for a moment before it started to melt it. 'Now I know what is wrong with these flames,' Gray thought as a smirk appeared on his face.
With a loud shout, Gray released a large amount of magic, cooling the area around him. The flames started to rise up and thus the rest of the attack missed Gray.
"What happened?" Fukuro asked in confusion. He was sure that he directed the fire at Gray, not upwards.
"You truly are a bird brain. Hot air rises while cold air sinks. This never worked on Haru since he can actually control those flames, but for a poser like you it doesn't follow your orders," Gray said with a confident smirk.
"I have control over the 'Salamander's' powers, the flames are mine to control," Fukuro shouted in anger. "Fire Dragon Roar" Fukuro called out again. Unfortunately, the fire rose above Gray once again, missing him.
"Haru once told me that there is no controlling the flames of a Dragon. I didn't believe him seeing how he managed to control them, but now, I think I might understand what he was doing," Gray said. 'Let's see if I can apply the Flame brain's thought process to my ice,' Gray thought.
"Ice-make: Freedom of Ice" Gray yelled out. Multiple ice structures started to sprout from the steel cages. All sorts of different shapes formed around Fukuro.
"What is this supposed to do, I can easily stroll around them," Fukuro laughed.
"You haven't seen the beauty of this attack yet, Gray said before releasing a large amount of magic power. The ice sculptures started glowing a light blue before exploding. Ice shards impacted Fukuro from all sides.
A massive cloud of mist formed from the shattered ice. Once it was lifted Fukuro was unconscious on the floor with Haru crawling out of his mouth.
"Yuk, this is disgusting," Haru said before quickly covering himself in a mass of fire. This managed to dry him off.
"So what was that new move?" Haru asked his rival.
"Remember when you told me about how no one controls a Dragons flames when we were kids?" Gray asked.
"Yeah, I kind of forgot about that until I was reminded not too long ago," Haru answered while remembering the words of wisdom Natsu told him during his fight with Totomaru.
"Well I think I know what you meant, you direct the flames in a direction and then you continuously pour magic into it to guide the fire. You never leave an attack without constantly redirecting it until it hits the target," Gray said.
"So you figured that much out Ice Princess," Haru grinned.
"More than just figured it out, when I apply the idea to my ice it builds up power until it explodes, so watch out for our next brawl, Flame brain because I will destroy you," Gray said with a confidant smile.
"He, as if you can ever beat me, Ice Princess," Haru smiled back while extending his fist. Gray completed the fistbump with a grin.
"And thank for helping out," Haru said in a soft tone. Gray was shocked that his rival thanked him but he decided not to bring it up since he was just glad his friend was all right.
"Now let's see where this will lead us," Gray said, changing the topic as he moved on to the exit of the room.
-Magic Council Headquarters in Era-
"You are the only one who is against the use of the Etherion Cannon Councilman Yajima. Thus it has been decided we will fire the Etherion Cannon on the Tower of Heaven," the Council Chairman announced.
"I hope you can live with the consequences of your actions Siegrain," a short Councilman softly said.
The Council Headquarters looked like a busy anthill with everyone running around and preparing to fire the Etherion Cannon.
-With Natsu and Ultear-
Even though Shedo was unable to personally prevent Natsu from stopping it seemed like Ultear's actions made him reconsider moving on to Jellal.
"Ultear, I have a present for you," Natsu said with his back still turned to the two.
"What do you mean?" Ultear asked. Instead of a verbal answer, Natsu formed a condensed ball of purple and grey energy. He then tossed the ball towards Ultear. Anyone who didn't know the relationship between Natsu and Ultear would have thought that Natsu was attacking Ultear, however, Ultear knew Natsu wouldn't want to hurt her.
"What is this?" Ultear asked as she looked at the ball of energy that was floating next to her.
"I have seen how you use your crystal ball, and let's just say this is a power-up," Natsu said. He turned his head slightly and Ultear could see the grin on his face.
"Thank you very much. This will make this battle even easier," Ultear replied with a sly smile. She was really happy that Natsu trusted her enough to allow her to make use of his unique magic in some way, and the fact that he managed to pay attention to her during the few times she demonstrated her magic made her heart beat faster.
'I really got lucky when I met him. There is no doubt in my mind that he will be able to save me and her from the darkness we foolishly entered,' Ultear thought as she looked at the man she had come to love so dearly walk through the doorway.
"Seeing that it is just the two of us left I can enjoy myself," Ultear said with a sadistic grin. Even though she had committed to turning away from the darkness old habits die hard.
"'Death Walker' made a grave mistake leaving you here alone," Shedo said as he removed himself from the rubble caused by his sudden meeting with the wall. He clenched his fists and as he was doing that the blades on his fists were extending and retracting.
"Give me at least enough entertainment to justify your reputation," Ultear said as she tested out her control over the orb Natsu created for her by slowly letting it orbit around her. 'Seems like I have the same control over this orb's movement as I have over my crystal orb. Now the only thing left to figure out is how my Arc of Time will interact with his magic,' Ultear though.
Ultear was too caught up in her thoughts to be able to make the first move in this fight, but she was still aware of her surrounding, allowing her to dodge the blade that Shedo was attempting to use to decapitate her.
"You better pay attention otherwise I won't enjoy this as much as I like," Shedo taunted as he swung his blades again and again at Ultear. Ultear continued to dodge the blades, while occasionally redirecting Shedo's arms, thus making the blade miss her when the strike wasn't dodgeable.
"Your blades will never hit me so stop this foolish attempt at attacking," Ultear taunted. She was confident that she won't be hit by one of the blades however she was looking for an opening to attack the shadow user.
"Has anyone ever told you that the unseen blade is the deadliest?" Shedo asked. As he said this, a shadow copy of himself appeared behind Ultear and thrust his blade towards her back.
"Haven't I already told you that your blades will never hit me?" Ultear countered. She had positioned the ball of energy that Natsu had given her between her back and the blade. When the shadow blade came into contact with the ball of death magic it completely swallowed the shadow.
"Did 'Death Walker' give you that much of his magic?" Shedo asked astonished after seeing his shadow clone being consumed.
"What do you mean by 'that much'?" Ultear asked. She knew Natsu had provided her with his magic but if this guy who had previous encounters with Natsu said that this was a substantial amount of magic she could only come to one conclusion. 'How long ago did these guys fight Natsu if they think this is a lot of his magic?' Ultear thought.
"Judging from the look on your face I guess you are thinking we had our encounter with him long before he had this large amount of power he currently possesses. You would be wrong however, I don't fully know how to say this but the amount of power you hold in that one orb is enough to take out any of the other members of Trinity Raven without much effort," Shedo said.
"So do you mean to say you are the most powerful of your bunch?" Ultear asked she was still trying to process what Shedo just told her about the amount of power Natsu gave her so she asked the other question his words rose.
"That is indeed true for the shadows of anyone are more powerful than the light they show," Shedo said. Shedo then created three shadow clones and the four opponents surrounded Ultear. Shedo threw a collection of small shadow shurikens at the light sources, plunging the room into darkness.
"Now we are in my domain, this is where your tale will end," Shedo said.
'I will have to figure out how to use this power of Natsu if I want to win this without getting in too much trouble,' Ultear thought. Ultear began spinning the ball of death around her at rapid speeds along with her crystal ball to form something that resembled a barrier.
The shadow clones attacked Ultear from both sides and behind while Shedo came at her from the front. Ultear used the balls to block the strikes from the clones but she was unable to fully redirect the blow coming from Shedo himself. This resulted in a slash on her arm. Luckily for her, it wasn't too deep though it was painful.
Remembering what Natsu showed her she released a large burst of magical power and to her delight, the shadow cloned were all eradicated. Ultear felt a blade piercing her leg from the shadows. With a scream in pain, she sunk to the ground.
"Can't even face me head-on?" Ultear taunted. She was putting up a brave face but the deep cut had hurt her considerably, reducing her movement potential.
"I'm the shadow of an assassin, what did you expect? I am quite fortunate you don't know how to use that power he gave you," Shedo's voice echoed around the room.
'Come on Ultear, focus. How can death magic and time magic work together? Natsu wouldn't have given me this if there wasn't something that could be done,' Ultear thought to herself. She had to block a shadow shuriken from the shadow mage with her crystal ball which was followed by another from the opposite side of the room which she blocked with the ball of death.
"I am the shadow, and the shadow is always present," Shedo said with a maniacal laugh. Hearing this Ultear remembered something Natsu said when they were walking in the forest.
-Flashback-
Ultear was holding on to Natsu's arm ad enjoying the cool feeling he exerted.
"Hey, Natsu what is death magic really, or at least can you give me some hints as to what it entails?" Ultear asked. She wanted to know a bit more about the magic of the man that was shrouded in mystery.
"I won't tell you everything just yet," Natsu said. This caused Ultear to drop her head.
"Don't worry too much about it. You will eventually know everything there is to know about me, just like I will know everything about you," Natsu said with a smile that melted Ultear's heart. She leaned onto his shoulder and decided to be contempt with what he already told her about himself.
"Death is not something that can be described easily, it is the only true constant in life yet is something you only personally experience once during your life, and you will never be able to tell someone else about it. You only see others who experience it. This makes understanding the true meaning of death something out of reach for most even though it is the only thing that is always there. Death is ever-present and omnipresent. There is no life without death. If you add the test of time to death, death will not only prevail, it will rise in power, seeing that more death occurs the more you add time to the world," Natsu said.
Ultear never thought about death like that. To her, as well as the rest of the world, it was just the end and everyone was running away from it. But thinking about what Natsu said made her think of it more like a constant thing that shouldn't be a concern since you won't escape it even if you try. Death will come for you, yet only when it is your time.
-End of Flashback-
"Death is ever-present and omnipresent and it will only increase if you add time," Ultear said under her breath. A smile formed on her face.
"You have lost this battle Shedo," Ultear said with a voice filled with confidence.
"And what would make you say so?" the shadow assassin asked.
Ultear started channelling her magic into the orb of death. The orb rapidly expanded. Ultear felt the same feeling she got when Natsu embraced her when the orb grew past her. The effect Shedo felt was completely different. He felt his life coming to a quick conclusion.
He remembered the words of 'Death Walker' after their last encounter.
"If you don't turn your ways around and prevent the corruption of death from consuming you the next time we meet will be your end," those were the words spoken to him in such a cold voice that anyone would have said belonged to death incarnate.
The orb dispelled soon after it engulfed the entire room. When Ultear looked around the dark room she managed to see the silhouette of a man on the floor. She used the crystal ball as a light source by channelling some of her magic into it, giving it a subtle glow. Her eyes widened when she saw the lifeless body of the shadow mage.
"So that is what death magic can do, now I wonder if Natsu specified it to only target him or if there is something else that prevented it from harming me," Ultear said to herself. She decided to ask Natsu that one later. For now, she can go and see if he needed support.
Ultear started making her way to the exit only to stumble due to the wound in her leg. 'Guess I will have to tend to this before going to Natsu," Ultear thought with a sigh as she pulled out some bandages that she had on her and started tending to the wound, as well as she, could given the circumstances.
-With Erza-
Erza and Ikaruga's battle was a hard-fought one for Erza up until this point. All her various armours had proven ineffective against Ikaruga's unique swordsmanship. Erza was currently in what remains of a black armour, which was destroyed by the pink-haired woman.
"Your armours will not aid you in this fight Erza," Ikaruga said with a sly smile.
"I have spent my whole life hiding behind my armour, sealing myself away from everyone. Today is the day I shed that armour and face my fears," Erza said. "Re-quip: Clear Heart Clothing" Erza said in a quiet voice.
A golden light enveloped Erza. Once it died down the remains of the black armour were gone, and in its place, Erza was now wearing a white sarashi around her chest and a red hakama with golden flame-like patterns at the bottom. Erza's hair was tied up in a high ponytail and in her hands were two katanas.
"I have to throw away my sheltered self and open myself up to my friends. I know I have the power to defeat you," Erza declared.
"Then why don't we put that confidence you have to the test," Ikaruga said as she prepared for the final strike of their clash. Erza and Ikaruga dashed at one another. The clang of metal on metal could be heard.
Erza and Ikaruga landed with their backs turned on one another.
"So that is how the clash ends," Ikaruga said. As the words left her mouth one of Erza's swords shattered into pieces.
"So it does," Erza said. This time it was Ikaruga's sword that shattered. Ikaruga fell to the ground with a wound on her side courtesy of the second sword Erza had.
'I better proceed forward and face Jellal,' Erza thought as she continued over the ruined bridge that was their battlefield.
As Erza excited the door she found herself in a situation that was a shock. In front of her were Wally, Millianna, Lucy, Juvia, Simon, and Happy.
"What is going on here?" Erza asked confused. As she finished saying that Haru and Gray came out of the door they went through.
"This is the same room we came from," Haru exclaimed as they entered the room.
"It seems like Jellal made all the possible routes lead back to this room," Simon said.
"Seems like you managed to defeat my knights, well done. I am however surprised that you managed to find my fourth knight without straying from the paths I provided you. That doesn't matter anyway, so tell me did you enjoy my little hallway," Jellal's voice rang over the intercom.
"So it didn't matter which route we took we would have ended back here," Erza said.
"Well done Erza, but since you have defeated the four knights I guess I will have to reveal a path to me then," Jellal said as a new passageway opened up.
"I wonder if you will be able to reach me in time before Etherion will be fired on this tower. Oh, I forgot to let you all know that the Council has decided that firing the Etherion Cannon is the only way to prevent Zeref's resurrections. I'd say we have around fifteen minutes left until it fires," Jellal finished with a laugh.
"You all need to leave, please. I know you want to fight Jellal but judging by your magic power levels you can't fight him," Erza said with authority.
"Erza you know we won't leave you," Gray said.
"Yeah, and we still have enough power left to kick some butt," Haru added while pumping his fist in the air.
"Erza, I suggest that Wally and Millianna leave with Lucy, Juvia, and Happy. They are the ones with the lowest amount of magic left, but the rest of us can still put up a fight," Simon said as he glanced at Haru and Gray, who both gave him a nod in confirmation.
"No, I will not lose another friend to this tower," Erza said with a single tear forming in her eye.
"Erza, you know we won't leave you to fight him alone, no matter what you say," Gray said as he stood up straight.
"Yeah, and even if you send us away we will just follow you, so there is no sue," Haru added with a grin.
"Erza, please allow us to aid you, we will be stronger together," Simon said with a soft look on his face.
"I really hate how stubborn Fairy Tail mages can be sometimes. But I ask you one thing, please let me fight him on my own first. If I fail then please help me take him down," Erza said with a sigh before making her request. She knew that sending them all away would be nearly impossible, and if she somehow managed to do that they would just follow her.
"We won't stand by and watch you die, but I guess we can respect your wish to fight him alone at first," Haru said. This got a smile to form on Erza's face.
"And promise me you will run as soon as the Etherion Cannon is about to fire, we won't be killed by that thing," Erza said with a steely look.
"As long as you don't try and play the hero and sacrifice yourself," Haru said, returning the steely look at the knight. A small smile formed on Erza's face. 'It seems like I truly have some great friends,' Erza thought to herself.
"Now let's move, we can's waste any more time," Simon said. The two groups split from one another, one heading down while the other was heading up.
-With Natsu-
'So soon the tower will be powered, this will get interesting,' Natsu sighed. He could smell the scent of someone ahead. The scent was tainted with the corruption of death.
"It's sad that the game is nearing its end. Oh, I can't wait for you to arrive Erza," Jellal said to himself. He was still unaware of his uninvited guest, but the man was enjoying himself with his monologuing.
"I'm sorry to disappoint you Jellal Fernandes, but you won't be ending any more lives today," Natsu said as he emerged from the shadows.
"And who might you be?" Jellal asked the pink-haired man.
"Don't you remember me, Siegrain?" Natsu returned the question with a smirk as he started allowing his magic to roll off of him.
"'Death Walker'?" Jellal's eyes widened in shock when he saw the mysterious rogue mage.
"Indeed," Natsu replied. He now had a thick aura around him that was a mix of purple and grey.
"How did you know about my secret and how did you find this place if I may ask?" Jellal inquired. The truth of the matter was that he was rather stalling for the Etherion cannon to launch and for him to become one again.
"I have my sources, but I am not here to chat. You stand before the son of Draco Mortem and on the crimes of countless mindless murders you have been judged guilty. This will be the last day you exist in this world," Natsu said in a deep voice as black streaks invaded his aura.
Jellal's eyes widened at the power Natsu was giving off. 'I can't defeat him right now, if I want my dream to come true I need to stall him,' Jellal thought. Then his salvation arrived. A red-haired knight burst through the main doors to the throne room of the tower, quickly followed by three other men.
"The party has finally arrived," Jellal silently smirked. His smirk vanished as quickly as it appeared when Erza dashed at him with incredible speeds and all he could do was block the swing of her sword before he was launched into a decorative lacrima in the middle of the room.
"Step away 'Titania', I need to deliver the punishment that my father decreed on this man," Natsu said in a dark voice. Erza was too fixated on Jellal that she didn't register his presence and continued attacking Jellal.
"Who is that and what is this power he possesses?" Simon asked when he spotted Natsu in the deathly cloud of purple, grey and black.
"'Death Walker'," Gray stated. Simon's eyes widened in fear when he heard that name.
"How did he manage to get the aid of that monster and how are we supposed to defeat them, I thought Jellal said his knights were defeated?" Simon asked with a voice filled with terror.
"Don't worry man, he's on our side, besides ever thought about who defeated the fourth knight Jellal mentioned because we only took three down," Gray said.
Simon seemed to calm down a little when he heard that this wasn't another foe to face and he returned his attention back to Erza.
"We both know the R-System isn't complete, I have been researching this place ever since I left here years ago and I know that you are still lacking one component," Erza said as she placed a knee on Jellal's chest and pointed her sword at his throat.
"Your sacrifice will be the final part in my dream Erza," Jellal replied.
"That is not what I mean, this tower requires a massive amount of magic energy," Erza replied.
"'Titania' if you don't step away from his now I will be forced to remove you myself," Natsu said with the darkness still in his voice.
"'Death Walker' please will you allow Erza to deal with this, at least at first," Haru asked as he carefully walked up to the pink-haired man.
"This matter has gone far beyond the authority of mortal life and has already been handed over to the reapers of Death," Natsu replied.
"Please, just this once allow her to settle the score she has with him, please," Haru begged as he looked Natsu in the eyes.
"As I said this is now in the hands of the reapers of Death," Natsu persisted. This was his responsibility now and he will fulfil his duties as the son of Draco Mortem.
"Natsu," a soft voice called out from the doors, the voice was so soft that only Natsu and Haru could hear it. When they turned to the source of the voice they saw Ultear leaning on the doorframe. Natsu quickly made his way over to her and looked her in the eyes, he knew she had something to say.
"Jellal was her friend, and the spell I used to possess him so that he would follow my orders twisted him, would you consider allowing her to deal with her problems first before you finish this?" Ultear asked in a whisper as she embraced Natsu and buried her head in his chest.
"Fine," Natsu sighed. 'I will allow them to fight until he regains all his power, then I will step in,' Natsu decided and sat down with Ultear in his cool embrace.
"Why are you still here, it doesn't make any sense for you to remain here if you know the Council will fire the Etherion Cannon. You will never see your dream come true, so why are you risking your life?" Erza asked the man beneath her.
"I just want to be with you again Erza," Jellal whispered out as he lay on the ground. He looked up at Erza with eyes filled with sorrow.
"I have been possessed by Zeref, and now I am merely a puppet to do as he pleases, but since the Etherion Cannon will soon fire I am glad to die here, the only thing that would make it better would be if you were here with me," Jellal whispered to Erza.
"You are possessed, but there must be some way to remove his possession," Erza said with sadness clouding her eyes.
-Magic Council Headquarters in Era-
The headquarters opened up and revealed a massive crystal with huge magic circles floating above it. Inside the headquarters, the employees were making final preparations for the Etherion Cannon to fire.
"This is for the greater good, now let us bow our heads for the innocence that will die today, so we may live tomorrow," the Chairman said in a sad tone. All the gathered Council members bowed their heads for those who were about to die except for one.
Siegrain had a small crazed smile on his face. 'Now it's time to rid my new world of these old fools,' he thought as he moved to a secluded spot. "All that is needed now is for them to launch the Etherion Blast before I can begin the final step of my plan,' Siegrain thought.
-In the Tower of Heaven-
A bright light began lighting up the sky and the tower began to tremble.
"The only thing you can do for me now is put me out of my misery, I would rather die by your hands than by the Council. That way I can at least die knowing you have conquered the demos of your past," Jellal said with a sad smile.
"Erza we have to get out of here now," Haru shouted as the tower trembled He and Gray attempted to reach the two mages but a golden barrier seemed to form around them.
"A barrier that is even able to block out sound," Simon said, he had seen Jellal use this at times but he never had an opportunity to find out more.
"We have to break it down," Gray said as he glanced at Haru. With a nod, the two of them prepared an attack. "Ice-make: Lance" Gray called out while Haru called out "Fire Dragon Roar". Something miraculous happened when the fire and ice met. The ice didn't evaporate and the fire didn't dwindle. In fact, the two attacks merged into one, creating a swirling vortex of fire and ice, two things that should never be able to mix managed to come together to save a friend in need.
The barrier shattered into golden flecks as the combined attack blew it away. 'A Unison Raid, the ability to merge two kinds of magic into one. This is only possible if there were enough trust between eh two users and a common goal with no discrepancies. Well done Haru,' Natsu though with a bit of pride seeing the young mage accomplish something many only dreamed about. The bond between the fire mage and the ice mage is indeed strong.
Haru, Gray and Simon were all prepared to jump into battle against Jellal but they stopped in their tracks once they saw Erza allowing Jellal to stand up.
"There is no need for me to spill your blood with my own hands, the Etherion Blast will hit us soon and we will all perish anyway," Erza said to the blue-haired man. She then turned to the other mages gathered.
"I'm sorry for breaking my promise Haru, Simon, and Gray. I got so caught up in facing Jellal that I didn't pay attention to the time. It seems like this is where our story ends. We can't escape the blast range in time," Erza said in a peaceful voice.
"There has to be a way for us to survive," Haru insisted. He wracked his brain for an answer before realising that one other person was remaining here who might know the answer. He quickly turned to look at Natsu who was silently sitting by the doo with Ultear in his arms. Haru didn't pay attention to how close the two were, he was instead filled with confusion.
"How can you two be so calm at a time like this?" Haru shouted out in confusion. This gained the attention of everyone who turned to look at the two mages who were peacefully sitting by the door. A look of horror passed over Jellal's face when he saw Ultear but he kept his cool, hoping his plan will still work out how he planned.
"I am calm because I know the outcome. I can explain to you how I know but that would reveal a lot of other information I would rather stay hidden. So I will just have to ask you to trust in me," Natsu said in a levelled voice.
Erza turned to Jellal, hoping for some sort of explanation. Haru and Gray were still confused by the lax attitude that Natsu had while Simon was trying to decrypt the words Natsu spoke.
"We all share a grim fate," Jellal whispered to Erza.
"I'm sorry for not being able to save you, can you forgive me?" Erza asked in a soft voice. Jellal brought Erza into a hug, showing that he accepted her apology.
The bright light that was previously only in the sky came rushing down on the tower. Tidal waves formed around the tower, sending the escaping group far into the ocean while ripping the spiky tower apart.
-Magic Council Headquarters in Era-
'To use magic here with my thought projection took a lot of effort to accomplish and unfortunately, I can only use magic here if I don't do anything with my main body, but now that I have that ability I can deal with the Council and then complete the resurrection of Zeref,' Siegrain thought to himself as a crazed look overtook his face.
Siegrain lowered his body and pointed his hands downward with all the fingers close except for his index and middle finger. He slowly began to move his right hand upwards until it pointed straight up. Clouds formed above the Council Headquarters and started swirling around, creating what appeared to be a cyclone. He could hear the astonished voices of everyone at the main room talking about a giant lacrima. His plan was almost complete. A huge meteor began to form inside the swirling clouds. "True Heavenly Body Magic: Sema" Jellal said in a satisfied tone. The meteor sped down to earth and made its impact with the Magic Council Headquarters just as Siegrain disappeared.
- In the Tower of Heaven -
The light of the Etherion Cannon subsided and revealed that the entire tower was one massive lacrima.
"This is the true form of the Tower of Heaven," Jellal laughed as he pushed Erza away from him.
"What is this Jellal?" Erza asked with a bit of fear in her voice.
"Thanks to the Etherion Blast I have managed to gather enough magical energy to activate the R-System. You will be my sacrifice to revive Zeref, and no one can stop me," Jellal laughed.
"So I was just a pawn," Erza said with rage beginning to boil in her eyes.
"Erza, let's take this guy down as a family," Gray said as he walked up to stand next to Erza.
"Because if anyone messes with one Fairy Tail member they mess with all of us," Haru said as he joined Gray beside Erza.
"Fine then, try and stop me, but I have to warn you, this will be much harder than you might think," Jellal said with a grin. As he finished speaking a snake-like tattoo began forming on Erza's arms and legs. She became rigid, unable to move.
"What did you do to me?" Erza demanded as she struggled in vain to free herself.
"Our heart-warming embrace was the perfect time to apply the 'Bind Snake'," Jellal said.
You will pay for this," Haru and Gray shouted at the same time as they charged up their magic.
"Let's keep this interesting, I will give you a few minutes to try and defeat me, but when you fail I will complete the ritual and Zeref will be resurrected to reform this world," Jellal shouted out with a grin.
"It will soon be my time to step in, when that time comes, please put all the other mages here in a protective barrier using the orb I gave you so that I can deal with him without worrying about you," Natsu whispered into Ultear's ear as they sat, leaning against one of the pillars like they were on a loving picnic.
There you have it. This is how I thought the events would have gone if all the Fairy Tail mages and their allies were together before Erza faced Jellal. So in the next chapter, the battle will begin, will Gray and Haru be able to save Erza or will they fall by the hands of Jellal? When will Natsu join the fray? The next chapter will be one big battle, so leave a review and tell me what you thought. Until the next one.
