Alright, get ready for a long one.

The sound of knocking echoed throughout the castle. Alina came into the main hall and walked over. She opened the door and screamed. Instantly, multiple vampires materialized next to her. Luca, Crodut, Doina, Taylor, Sorina, Judy, Nick, Alexandru, Borya, and Cappi all appeared.

Standing in front of the door was Dagger, smiling and holding a small white flag.

"Are you going to invite me in?" Dagger asked.

"What do you want?" They all said at the same time.

"I come in peace. I just want to talk to you, warn you, threaten you a bit, and then leave." He said, still grinning. "Now, can I please come in? It's bright out here."

The entire family sat in a room full of chairs and couches. Dagger sat on a bean bag, while the rest of them sat on the opposite side of him.

"Could I get a drink?" Dagger asked.

"No," Luca said.

"Hm. Fair enough."

Taylor jumped up out of his chair.

"Give us one good reason we shouldn't rip you apart." He growled. Daggers expression hardened.

"Because I have information. Now sit down and let me speak please." Taylor huffed and sat back down. Dagger clasped his hands and leaned forward.

"Something is wrong with this world." He raised his hand to silence the multiple snarky comments that were no doubt about to be sent his way. "Someone or something is in control here."

Dagger gestured to Taylor.

"This one. He's already met the thing. Just doesn't know it. It... erased itself from his memory."

"What do you mean," Luca asked.

Daggers face scrunched up.

"He's... caught on." He gasped out. Then he straightened and his grin returned.

"Now. I am here to formally declare war on you."

Nick stood out of his chair.

"Okay, I have a question. I, nor my wife, really know who you are. So start with that." The dark lion laughed.

"Sure kid. As you know, the name's Dagger. Not my real name, but that's what you'll call me." Dagger grinned once more.

"About 2 thousand years ago, my village was raided by vampires. They killed my entire family. I myself was in the process of being devoured by King Sol. The last vampire king. For some reason, he didn't finish. Left me there lying in the street, the venom running through my blood for a week before I could stand."

Daggers eyes seemed to turn misty.

"You know you have no idea what it's like. Turning into the thing that just slaughtered your mother before your very eyes, ripping out her throat, tearing her apart limb by limb. Then having the desire to do the same thing."

His eyes grew sharp and focused again.

"Anyways, I tried everything to cure myself. Nothing worked. The best I could find was a substitute for blood. Since I was bitten by a vampire king, I got some pretty sweet powers."

Dagger smiled and all of the ladies, except Judy, began to sweat and their eyes began to twitch. He dropped the smile and watched the ladies stare at him murderously.

"I really hate it when he does that," Alina said.

"I decided I wanted revenge. So I allied myself with the hunters guild. Together we killed the last vampire king. Those idiots are too stupid to realize the mantle technically just passed to me. They think I'm just a special vampire that requires no blood." Dagger stared at Nick.

"That's all I'm willing to share for now, so sit down, fox. I don't care if you're from the prophecy or not." Luca stiffened. The action did not escape Nick''s eyes.

"What's the prophecy?" Judy asked. She had also seen Luca stiffen. Dagger opened his youth but Luca cut him off.

"Shut your mouth, or I will kill you. I don't care if it violates the ancient laws." Luca growled. He turned to Nick and Judy. "All will be explained within time."

Dagger smiled.

"I believe that may be my cue to leave." Dagger stood up. The family followed him to the door. "Ah yes, I almost forgot. The battle is tomorrow. This is a short war. One battle to end it all. We'll be attacking Taylor and Sorina's little honeymoon cabin. A lovely time you had up there, or so I've heard."

And with that Dagger turned and walked away, leaving the family outraged and in shock. When he reached the gate, he seemed to melt into shadow. Only a cold laugh seemed to linger before that too disappeared.

"Whats the prop[hecy?" Nick asked Luca. Luca sighed.

"Follow me." He said. Luca led them through the castle. He opened a door that was hidden in the wall by opening and closing a drawer. They walked down multiple flights of stairs until they entered a room. It was a simple small cave. But the wall had been smoothed and glazed, inlaid with hundreds of geodes. It took a second, but the geodes started to form words.

"This... is the prophecy." Luca gestured toward the wall.

Nick began to read out loud.

"A false king."

"The vampires' bane."

"Dark time approaching."

"Over the first's domain."

"Killed long ago."

"By hunters plenty."

"Revived by a doe." Nick and Luca glanced at Judy.

"And spread to the shifty." Now Judy and Luca looked at him.

"A king and queen reborn."

"Revenge is the lion's goal."

"Life is broken and torn."

"But invincible is the soul."

"Peach shall they bring."

"Everlasting."

"Neverending."

It took Nick a second, but he realized that the words were glowing in every color, shattering the room into multicolored light. He turned to Luca.

"And you think that's us?" Nick asked.

Luca nodded.

"Yes, Nick and Judy. I believe you are the Vampire King and Queen. I believe you are the one who will kill Dagger, the false king."

The entire air was filled with tension. There were almost 3,000 vampires in the clearing. The clan had sent messages to the Cordus and Treins clans, who had offered as many vampires as possible. They had no idea if it would be enough though. Supposedly, there were over 20,000 hunters in the guild, but they had no idea how many of them would be there.

They had been there for hours. They had left about 50 vampires back at the castle just in case it was a double play.

Finally, around noon, the forest grew dark. Out of the trees emerged Dagger. Then out stepped a leopard. On the leopard's waists were two silver swords. He had on a helmet that looked strangely like a fresh vampire skull. So fresh, that blood still stained the fangs. His chest was covered with what looked to be a rib cage chest piece.

Then another animal, a rabbit stepped out as well. He had a gun. Along his waist, silver bullets lay side by side. The more animals began to step out of the woods. Soon the clearing was filled with them. There were definitely more hunters than vampires.

Luca pulled Judy and Nick aside.

"You will lead."

"What?!" They questioned.

"Just trust me. You will do fine. Now go. We will follow."

Judy and Nick looked at each other. Somehow, they knew what to do. They saw the orders in their minds, how they would be carried out. They stood side by side and walked to the front of the army.

Multiple of the animals sneered in disgust when they caught the fox and rabbit's scent. They smelled of each other, power, and confidence.

"Vampires!" Judy called out. Everyone snapped to attention.

"ATTACK." Dagger growled.

Nick and Dagger immediately went after each other. Judy had the chance to see what was going on what amazed by what she saw.

Luca and Alina were fighting the leopard. They were dodging his swords, but his gruesome armor seemed impervious to their attacks.

Sorina was fighting another female lynx, who had obviously drunk some vampire blood. They struggled, exchanging blows, Sorina got the upper hand and punched the lynx in the gut. She went flying into one of her friend's silver blades and screamed as she disintegrated.

Taylor was fighting with a badger, but both of them seemed to be holding their own.

Doina was fighting the rabbit with the gun. The little squirrel was small enough so she didn't get hit when the rabbit would fire. Occasionally the rabbit would hit one of his own or one of their vampires.

Alexandru and Borya were fighting a polar bear together. They made a surprisingly good team. Within seconds, the polar bear got ripped apart. They moved onto other enemies.

Cappi zipped around the battlefield, striking the hunters randomly, causing them to get distracted and allowing the vampires fighting them to get an advantage.

Crodut was surprisingly impressive. He was fighting at least 5 hunters and showed no signs of difficulty.

She heard a thud and saw Nic flying towards her. She jumped into the air and caught him. She landed and placed him down. She brushed the dust off his clothes and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Always need me, huh, slick?" She asked,

"Always, carrots." Nick and Judy looked at Dagger. Then they charged.

They leaped sailing through the air. Judy didn't know what happened, but suddenly, her foot began to glow. She aimed it toward Dagger and kicked.

A golden rabbit's foot slammed into him, sending him sprawling into the dirt. Judy began to do it again when Nick barked.

The foot and wall seemed to combine. The foot settled on the ground and thumped once. The earth rose and fell like a whip. It hit Dagger with a crack and slammed him into the side of a tree.

Nick and Judy landed in battle-ready stances.

"Bravo Judy!" Luca called from his position atop the leopard's head, where he was bashing at the skull helmet.

Judy slammed her foot into the ground. A chunk of earth sprung up. Nick barked at the rock, which broke apart into thousands of needles. The force of the bark sent them hurtling into the forest.

Multiple yelps and cries of pain came back.

"I am only toying with you!" Dagger howled. Judy and Nick had kind of forgotten about him. He sent a shockwave through the clearing. All of the ladies began to kneel, but suddenly, the men did too. But they did not kneel to Dagger. The hunters began to kneel to Alina.

Her face was scrunched up in concentration, but she held on. Taylor jumped over to her and placed his hand on her shoulder. He began to whisper encouragements in her ear.

Only the vampire men and hunter women were still standing.

"Oh sh-" Crodut began to say. The hunters leaped. So did the vampires. There were not as many women but every single one of them had silver weapons and had drunk vampire blood. They met in mid-air while Dagger, Judy, and Nick stared at each other, waiting.

Dagger shouted and the skies darkened. All of the hairs stood up on Nick and Judy's neck and they leaped out of the way.

A lightning bolt struck the ground where they had been standing. They suddenly Nick shouted as well and, much quicker, allowing no time for Dagger to move, 5 lightning bolts struck the place where Dagger stood.

Dagger stumbled out of a cloud of dust. Patches of his hair were on fire and he batted them out. He roared in anger and ran at Judy catching her off guard. He slammed into and she went plowing through the earth, leaving a shallow trench in the ground. She smalled into a large rock and crumpled to the ground, dazed.

Nick's eyes blazed with fury and he appeared in front of Dagger. He punched him in a few spots, then sent one straight into his gut. The lion's eyes bugged out as the air was knocked out of his lungs. Daggers eyes moved to behind Nick. Nick like an idiot, turned around. Something was going on, but he still should have stayed facing Dagger. At the edge of the clearing, leaning casually against a tree, stood a dolphin, who was watching the battle. Nick suddenly felt silver-tipped clas rake his back,

Dagger had raised his feet and kicked while dragging the claws that had been dipped in silver down Nick's back.

Nik flew forward a bit, his back exploding into agony. He looked to his left, where the hunters and vampires were fighting. Dagger had stopped using his charm, as had Sorina. Now the battle was back in full force. Nick watched as the Hunters began to get the upper hand. Multiple vampires fell, silver blades plunged into their hearts. Nick saw Alexandru get slashed in the leg by a silver sword-bearing wolf. The wolf raised his sword but was picked up and bitten in half by Borya who roared so loud some of the hunters simply dropped their weapons, and ran away, screaming, from the bear whose teeth were stained blood red. Borya grabbed Alexandru and leaped over the battle.

Borya placed down Alexandru in a safe space and lept back into the battle. He fought like a demon, taking out hunters left and right. His eyes blazed with hatred.

Nick's back flared in pain again. Dagger had stood up and now had his foot pressing down onto Nick's back, his claws tearing into Nick's skin. Nick felt his eyes being drawn to the edge of the battlefield. The dolphin now looked confused. He looked up, then looked straight into Nick's eyes. His eyes were made of molten gold. Nick suddenly felt strength surge into his body. Dagger howled in pain as Nick's wounds closed around his claws, snapping them off. Nick could feel the silver dissolve inside of his body. He looked at the edge again, but the dolphin was gone.

He sprung up and spun to face Dagger, who was clutching his foot. Nick barked and Dagger screamed as he went flying into a group of hunters. His leg got stabbed by a silver blade, which made him roar in agony. Not realizing what he was doing, he turned to the hyena whose sword had penetrated his thigh. He picked up the hyena and pulled. The Hyena screamed as he was separated at the waist. Dagger flung the 2 halves to the side.

It took him a second, but he realized the sound of fighting had stopped. The hunter that was left stared at him in disbelief and anger. The leopard raised his sword at Dagger.

The hunter shouted as they charged towards him.

The vampire watched in fascination as the hunter that remained bore down on Dagger. They quickly began to move the wounded, taking the chance to regroup. Dagger fought with the hunters, who stood no real chance. H ripped through them, taking one out with every blow. In a matter of minutes, there was only the leopard left. He raised his swords and charged. Dagger grabbed the sword and yelped as his hand began to smoke.

The two of them fought, neither able to land a good blow.

Then the leopard made a mistake. He glanced toward the vampire that stood watching. Dagger saw he was distracted and feinted left. The leopard brought down his sword. Dagge twisted and clasped the sword. His hands began to smoke but he twisted the sword of the leopard's hand and drove it through the skull helmet. The leopard fell to the ground. Dagger roared and glared at the Vampires.

Nick stood in the middle of the field, closest to him. Nick got into a fighting stance. Judy suddenly appeared at Nick's side.

"Let's end this." She said. Nick nodded his head. Judy and he closed their eyes and concentrated. When they opened their eyes, they were pure gold, with red irises. The skies darkened even further. A million lightning bolts flew from the sky, looking like a thousand gnarled hands. Judy jumped into the air and slashed her foot in an X. Then she slammed into the ground causing boulders to hurl up out of the ground. Nick barked multiple times. The heart rose and fell in a huge wave. All at once, lightning, kicks, boulders, and other attacks smashed into Dagger.

An explosion of white energy came forth. Nick and Judy were thrown back. Later, the vampires, who could see inside the white mushroom cloud, claimed they saw the dark silhouette of a lion, a floating black crown above his head. Then, the lion began to disintegrate, leaving only the crown. The crown shifted and ballooned splitting into 2 crowns. Then the crowns turned red and gray, with emeralds and amethysts along the edges. Then the silhouette of a fox and a bunny appeared, standing beneath the crowns.

The world disappeared into a white flash, and everything went dark.

Nick opened his eyes and sat up. Everyone was still in the clearing. Slowly, they all started to stand up, staring in awe at Nick in Judy.

"What?" Nick asked. Their eyes shifted to above their heads. Nick turned to look at Judy and was surprised by the gray, silvery crown studded with amethysts she wore. He felt his own head, and there was a crown there too. Then he realized their clothes had changed. They were wearing medical clothing. He wore a king's cloak and Judy a queen's dress.

Slowly, the vampires began to kneel. Nick grew worried that they were being charmed but he realized they were doing it of their own free will. Luca raised his head, tears in his eyes.

"Hail King Nicholas and Queen Judith. Hail the Vampir King. Hail the Vampire Queen!" He shouted. "The prophecy has come true!" The other vampires repeated the chant.

Nick looked at Judy, both their eyes wide in surprise.

"I always said you look like a queen." Nick joked instinctively. Judy giggled.

"Who's to say your not the queen, slick?" She said, smiling.

"Uhh, Luca." He said pointing at the lynx who was still kneeling.

"Judy rolled her eyes and grabbed his cloak. She pulled him down into a kiss.

"You'll always be my king Nick," Judy said.

Wow. This is a long-ass chapter. Holy fricken nuggets.

The next chapter will be called "Afterlife". Then, I think we're done. I'll get started on my new story and Bloodbunny will be over. Just a warning, as a gift to my biggest supporters, I will always work in your original characters into my stories. While Alina will probably change(she won't be a vampire anymore, and her middle and last name will probably change.), I'm going to also keep and his wife Lily. Somethings might change for them(like they might live in Zootopia instead of Vosstad, which by the way Vosstad actually means "Foxtown.") but otherwise, his story won't change much. A lot of you like Taylor and Sorina, so I'll see what I can do with the Blood family.
