It's December and I wish to game end all Christmas songs.
It's the same thing every year, generic songs from the 80's and 90's, we desperately need new songs, but nobody wants to make one.
Anyways, I don't get why there isn't a Sun & Moon stage in Smash, like it's Pokémon, I think Pokémon has gotten a new stage every game, and also it would've been "easy" I feel compared to the other stages we got in Ultimate. It didn't really have to be a moving stage like New Donk City, and it's not massive like the great plateau tower. I mean, they could have easily done the altar on Poni Island, or the Aether Foundation paradise, or even just like...
Well, Royal Avenue considering it has the whole wrestling vibe which would fit with Incineroar and all. But considering that we got Sword and Shield post game spirits, I doubt we're getting a Pokémon stage, much less a Sun & Moon stage anytime soon.
Though I'd love to see Wyndon or the Crown Tundra/Isle of Armor or even just Motostoke from Sword and Shield, there was a Spirit Event, and while base game spirits don't deconfirm, I feel like they'd wait to add Sword and Shield spirits if they were adding a Sword and Shield character, y'know?
Anyways, have a good read, and my opinion on Sephiroth, whose Sakurai Presents event was today, near the bottom.

{Diglett's tunnel – Pokémon Sun and Moon}
Not an inkling of an idea...
…
Ugh...
Eleven could barely open his eyes, he had somehow fallen asleep sleeping upright.
…
Wait, where was he?
…
Oh right, he went to the Alola region, then he went into a wrestling ring, and then those weird chicks kidnapped him.
…
"Alright, we're like, totally here." a voice that sounded like that Callie said.
"Yeah, we arrived five minutes ago." Marie's voice reminded her confusedly.
"Yeah, well I didn't say that five minutes ago, did I?" Callie responded. "Do you think we should cover up the blonde girls mouth again?"
"Nah, we only really needed her to get past the coast guard, we'll release her later." Marie inquired.
"Oh, I think that guy is waking up." Callie noted, probably referring to Eleven.
"True." Marie confirmed.
"I mean, it's not like he can escape, but you want to whack him just in case?" Callie questioned.
"Nah, we kind of need to keep him awake, the kid wants to do the thing, remember?" Marie reminded her, seeming to emphasis whoever this kidwas. "All we have to do is really wait, wanna head outside?"
"Sure." Callie replied as footsteps got farther and farther away, until... nothing.
…
…
Eleven opened his eyes fully, but before he could fully examine his surroundings, he got interrupted.
"Are you an idiot?"
…
Huh?
"I mean, I get you're not the brightest, but I feel like you're not trying here."
What's going on?
"Look, it's been a day since you got knocked out, and after thinking it over, you desperately need to get a clue."
I'm sorry, it's been a day?
"Eleven, shut up for a moment."
…
"Okay, you are currently tied to a chair."
Eleven looked down, and his torso was tied to the chair, and his legs were tied together, along with his arms and hands tied to the chairs back. He looked around a bit more and noticed he was in a spacious room, there were chairs in rows, a little market in the far corner, and what was some sort of electronic board with multiple places on it, though all of them had "-CANCELLED" next to them. Directly in front of Eleven was what looked to be one of those newfangled boarding stations he had seen once when he happened to pass by a train station near the top of Smashville.
"That girl you took a quest for is in a row behind you."
Eleven tried to turn around, but could barely make a rotation of his head, but there was definitely someone who was sleeping behind him, and they without a doubt said something about leverage back on wherever they were previously. Nothing helpful still, but he didn't quite know where they were going with this.
"You have none of your weapons, you have been stripped of your shield, and cannot move your arms." Aspect stated. "I'd say you have around twenty minutes before you get game ended, and due to your blatant idiocy, I'm not helping you one bit."
Wait-
"This is an easy puzzle, even easier than your wife, so good luck, Eleven."
…
Eleven waited for something else to happen, but nothing did. He was suddenly and abruptly in a situation where he had no means of escape, he had just woken up, and his hands were quite literally tied together, so he couldn't use his "immense strength" here. Eleven tried to struggle, maybe wiggle back and forth to loosen some of the ropes, but they were tight, it seemed that struggling in that way would only hurt himself in recoil.
What could he do?
…
…
Well, well, that was a question, alright. What could he do here?
…
Hm...
Eleven groaned in frustration, his mind emptier that the new remixes in the Dragon Quest section of the Music Player. Despite Final Fantasy getting three entire remixes, apparently Dragon Quest's music producer is such a flagrant sack that he didn't want to both with-
"Mmmmm..." a voice that sounded like young groaned, knocking Eleven out of his rant, and confirming what Aspect has said before. Eleven mentally took to mind the fact that Lillie was indeed still around, but didn't see how she could help.
Eleven looked around again, but caught himself seeing the same things as before, though he noticed in the far corner of the room next to the market stand were a whole bunch of water bottles, probably for... well for what water bottles were for, whatever he needed to focus.
…
…
WOW, there was actually nothing!
The floors were clean, there were no conveniently placed blade saws or anything, nor were there any happen to be conveniently lying around knives, not even a file or anything, though it's not like he could reasonably pick any of those things up.
There was nothing in the chairs next to him besides some sort of pink rectangular device that seemed useless to him. I mean, it was almost like the people who brought him here made sure he couldn't escape by some BS that they left lying around.
…
He looked at the water bottles again.
Nothing.
…
He looked at the floor again.
Still nothing.
…
Nothing, it was like he had broken the rules at the chocolate factory, he had nothing, he lost, it was good day to him. Eleven sighed in frustration, usually when he had to escape somewhere there was a linear path, or a guy who knew the place like the back of his hand, or the queen of the mermaids who had the ability to turn him into a fish. But this? This was-
"Mnngh..." Lillie groaned yet again as Eleven felt a kick to the back of his chair. I mean, it made since, she was like twelve. And everyone knows all twelve-year old's love kicking chairs, especially on airpl-
…
Wait a corn shucking minute, She just kicked the chair. Were her legs not tied together? Wait, why were her legs not tied together?
…
Why wouldn't the kidnappers, presumably adults, not want to go near a twelve-year-old's legs and tie them together, it's a mysetery that could only be solved by Sherlock himself, so Eleven ignored it and began to ponder.
"Neutral B..."
Eh?
Eleven chocked whatever that was up to the wind and went back to his plan. Perhaps if he could just wake her up, she might be able to do... well, something, it was the only real idea he had. Groaning seem to work before, so he tried that, groaning in a far louder tone, and it seemed to work as something most certainly hit the back of the chair, he was sitting in.
Wow.
That plan had more depth than the entire combat system of Pokémon Sword and Shield.
Continuing the idea, Eleven cleared his throat, but oddly nothing happened in response. Eleven did the same thing but louder, but yet again there was no response despite the prior getting a decent amount of activity. What could he do?
If only there was a way for him to just... make a loud sound, and if only people had a way to exude sound from a hole in their face that, if use with certain motions could make things called "words", and if you connected enough words you could form a "sentence", and eventually end said sentence with a punctuation mark that indicated what the aforementioned sentence meant tonally.
…
Oh yeah, he could talk.
Well, nobody was really around, so it's not like it really mattered if he spoke for a tiny bit.
"Fireball..."
Huh?
Must've been the wind yet again. Eleven ignore this, and then spoke out. "Lillie..." Eleven said quietly, feeling a slight sting of hearing his own voice not in a conversation's sense. He used to talk, though it was usually around his childhood friend Gemma he did it way too much, but Eleven quickly ignored the thoughts of his peculiar childhood, as Lillie didn't respond.
"Lillie." he repeated yet again, at a regular speaking tone for most people, and he seemed to get somewhere with that.
"Huh..." Lillie yawned, not seeming fully awake. "Mother... I had this really weird dream, there was this guy with a massive forehead..."
"Nggh..." Eleven took a deep breath and continued. "It's me... the guy from yesterday."
"Huh?" Lillie seemed to be slowly waking up. "Where... am I?"
"Listen... remember the wrestling... thingy?" Eleven asked.
"The..." Lillie gasped, and seemed to be recollecting things as fast as the Sun and Moon tutorial. "Wait..." she gasped. "Your voice sounds kind of like one of those guys from Galar." she noted, totally helping out with that little fact.
"Listen... we need to get out of here, try to find anything." Eleven explained, trying to keep this brief.
"Oh, well..." Lillie paused, hopefully to look around. "I don't see anything, sorry." she apologized. "Well, nothing besides your hands."
Hm...
If he could get his hands loose, this could be a potentially easy escape, though what could do that, he hadn't a clue.
"Got something sharp?" Eleven asked.
"Uh..." Lillie paused for a quick moment. "No, I don't."
…
Well, that sucks.
"Hey um, so..." Lillie spoke. "Do you know those girls who took us here?" Eleven shook his head. "Oh, well- not them specifically, but this situation, it kind of reminded me of this video I saw once, on Ken's channel." Lillie reminisced. "I think he was like... doing an Escape Room challenge, and he was kind of tied up like you are."
"How'd he escape?" Eleven asked.
"Well, after the video reached ten minutes, he kind of rotated his wrists repeatedly, and the ropes sort of let go." Lillie explained. "But your hands look kind of... sore already." Eleven would've looked at his hands, but he just took her word for it. "I mean, I could try to bite the rope-"
"No." Eleven quickly responded.
"Okay, well... I'd look something up on how, but I don't have my phone." Lillie sighed. "Have you seen it, it has a pink phone case, it's the newest model, but then again you aren't from here, so..."
Lillie kept speaking, and Eleven looked at the pink rectangular object in the chair next to him. Could that be the phone she was talking about?
"...and then Selene gave me the phone case as a gift for my birthday, but inside the box was this card, and the card said-"
"I have your phone." Eleven interrupted.
"WHERE?" Lillie immediately questioned, her voice so high that if it were any higher decibel, his ears would be bleeding.
"It's in the seat next to me." Eleven replied.
"Alright, we need to get out here immediately, you need to star rotating your wrists, I'll try kicking your hands or something, then you get my phone, alright?!" Lillie exclaimed, immediately going to kicking Eleven's hand rapid fire, allowing him to finally make that airplane comparison. "Okay, try moving your hands, quick!"
Eleven hesitated slightly at the abrupt suddenness, not sure why a twelve-year-old would want a phone with more vigorousness than actually wanting to escape. Eleven cooperated however, and began twisting his wrists back in forth, that combined with Lillie kicking him constantly hurt like hell, but it seemed to get somewhere as the ropes seemed to loosen ever so slightly.
"Okay, I'm gonna stop, my legs are getting tired..." Lillie complained as the kicking subsiding rather quickly. "Can you move your hands now?"
Eleven moved his hands around and the rope felt slightly looser, maybe loose enough to move, but only very slightly. Perhaps slightly would be enough though, as Eleven...
ALMOST got one of his hands out of the ropes, he could move his fingers lightly, but nothing else.
But alas, like the Sword and Shield post game, it wasn't enough. He still couldn't quite move his hands, a sad thing really. How long had it been? Maybe five minutes, less possibly, or maybe even more had passed by now, and he got the feeling time was running out.
"Okay, you want me to start kicking again-"
"Eleven, I swear to my life, this is the simplest thing in history, you literally have a feasible way to get out now, come the f-"
"Who said that?" Lillie questioned, though Eleven wasn't really listening too hard to her. "Why are they talking to you?"
I thought you weren't going to talk?
"Eleven, I wasn't, but watching over two thousand words of incompetency has made my head spin around 360 degrees, you bumbling... UGH."
"UH... Eleven?" Lillie asked, kicking Eleven's hand and catching his attention. "Who's the disembodied voice talking to you?"
"You can hear me?"
"Yes, I just referred to you." Lillie responded. "Who are you?"
"..."
"Hello?"
"Okay, that makes sense, unfortunately, but it makes sense nonetheless."
Huh?
"Huh?" Lillie repeated, though not really a repetition, she couldn't hear his thoughts. Hopefully, at least.
"I'll explain the details later, for now use your fire magic and burn the ropes already, this is getting too painfully dreadful you utter buffoon."
Oh yeah...
He totally did have magic.
…
Well, that certainly made this situation easier.
Honestly, could have made this whole adventure easier.
"You have fire magic?" Lillie questioned, seeming slightly mesmirized.
"Yeah." Eleven responded, opening up his hands slightly, and charging up fire-
"Wow, can you teach me?" Lillie asked, interrupting his train of thought. "I mean, if that's even possible." Eleven shook his head and began charging up a Kafrizz in his hands, feeling a heat begin to slightly char the surrounding- "So, you're still doing my request, right?" Lillie interrupted yet again.
"Mmm-hmm." Eleven responded, nodding.
"Alright, so... do you want me to tell you about it now?" Lillie asked.
"Not right now." Eleven quickly responded, rapidly losing his focus.
"Okay, I'll shut up, sorry." Lillie apologized, "You can go ahead now."
Eleven nodded, yet again, and went back to focusing on his magic, charging up a Kafrizz and feeling the rope around his hands char, and though it stung at first and would probably send him to the hospital in some other type of fanfiction, but thankfully this wasn't a Drama/Hurt fanfic.
The roped around Elevens hands began to burn up, and it wasn't before long that the ropes were weakened, weakened enough for Eleven to break free, or at least break free his hands, quickly maneuvering them around until they were out of the ropes surrounding his body.
"Okay, quick-quick, check my phone!" Lillie commanded suddenly, though Eleven had other immediate thoughts like freeing himself. "Please, this is a life-or-death situation..." she pleaded.
Now, Eleven couldn't quite see her face but she was probably making horrible puppy dog eyes, the type that you simply couldn't say no to. Eleven reached his hand over to her phone and looked at the pink rectangular thing, waiting for something to happen.
…
"You're holding it the wrong way." Lillie explained.
Right, he had seen phones back when he first got to the mansion, there was a training for using modern technology a bit after the whole... "initiation" type sequence.
. . .

{Realm Between Worlds – Dragon Quest 11}
"Okay, this device is called a... Cell Phone." the teacher of this class, Dr. Mario, who apparently was a completely different person than that of Mario explained, holding a black rectangle. Truth be told, Eleven wasn't listening to that much, just distantly looking occasionally, but his eyes were focused on something else.
They were sitting at desks, him and the other "Heroes" as they were called, like schoolchildren, and none of them seemed to care much either, so that was nice. On the desk was a checklist which read "List of things you understand" which has a list of multiple devices, the first of which being what was called a Camera, and the next being the aforementioned Cell Phone.
"Hey, Eight?' Dr. Mario asked, getting the guy next to Eleven, that being a hero who went by the name of Eight. "You listening?"
Eight nodded, and Dr. Mario shrugged in response. "Okie Dokie, well make sure they're listening alright, ? ? ? ? ? ? ?"
Eleven couldn't quite make out the name he said, but he remembered it being that of a female... something about the name just didn't seem to click with Eleven... but when he thought about it all that came up was blank, like the emptiness of space there was nothing there.
…
"Oh, they all seem to be listening." the unknown said sounding firm in her response.
"Alright, now the cell phone is a very important thing, it can function as a camera, you all remember what a camera is?" Dr. Mario asked the group of four adults like they were literally eight, not literally Eight, Eight was literally Eight, but literally eight.
"Hmm." Eight muttered, Eleven looking at him momentarily. Eight looked back and the two locked eyes for a moment, quickly turning back to Dr. Mario. "Heh."
"Alright, well if you power on the phone..." Dr. Mario turned the phone towards them and pressed a button on the rectangles side. "You can use many applications, apps, to preform multiple things like a calendar, a messaging app, Deviantart- uh, where did that one come from?!" Dr. Mario laughed, quickly turning the phone around towards himself and laughing awkwardly.
"Uh, that's your phone..." the unknown pointed out.
"Yeah, I know, I know..." Dr. Mario sighed, shaking his head. "Uh, let's skip this one for now..."
{===}
{Diglett's tunnel – Pokémon Sun and Moon}
Eleven grabbed the phone, pressed the button on the side, and like clockwork it turned on. On the screen was a picture of Lillie, that girl Selene from the exhibition match, and around five other people he didn't know.
…
Okay, there were no apps in sight, there was what appeared to be the time near the top, and below that there were three little white transparent rectangles with words on them.
"theREALKen has uploaded a video: I fought Trial Captain Ilima! (INSANE Footage) (Channel Exclusive)"
Below that was something about an update for an app called Raid: Shadow Legends, which appeared to be a free to play turn-based RPG done right. In case you have been living under a rock, Raid: Shadow Legends is an immersive online experience with everything you'd expect from an RPG Title. Raid seemed to have an amazing storyline, awesome 3D graphics, giant boss fights, and-
"Um, are you alright?" Lillie thankfully butted in, snapping him out of this video's sponsor. "You probably need the password right, the password is-"
"Here they are!" Callie's voice announced, arriving far earlier than twenty minutes. "You two stay right there, I'll make sure he hasn't gotten armed or anything."
"Who's there?" Lillie questioned as Eleven got the feeling he needed to burn more ropes.
"Oh, you're awake." Callie noticed, sounding disappointed. "Eh, the kid said you can go, I'll untie you after we get that dude out of here."
"Wait, what are you going to do to him?" Lillie asked as eleven made haste in burning the ropes surrounding his waist, quickly using his phoneless hand to set the ropes ablaze and watching the flames trickle across the rope like ripples in a pond.
"Why do you care, just forget it." Callie finished, Eleven hearing footsteps heading towards his locale. "Okay, let's see-"
While his legs weren't untied, he had managed to free his arms and by the time the ropes around him were finished getting lit, Eleven could successfully magic again, utterly ruining all tension this scene could cause! Eleven peered towards Callie who he could see at a far more delightful angle, though that really didn't help seeing much, considering she was wearing massive sunglasses that blocked half of her face.
She had on what he could only assume was a hat, it was either some sort of Sushi or Jellyfish looking thing on her head, and the only other new thing was that she had a strangely shaped mouth and fanged teeth. "Oh, he's kind of escaped, but not fully!" Callie called to the doorway.
"What?" Marie questioned, sounding surprised. "Then just knock him out."
"Uh, with what?" Callie rebutted, notably not having any weapons, Eleven quickly singing the ropes around his ankles, Callie obviously noticing this and backing off like he'd just insisted upon the fact that Little Mac was a top tier.
"You alright in there?" Marie asked.
"I'll be right there, we gotta discuss something!" Callie said as she made her way swiftly out the door. By the time she was out however, Eleven had finally freed himself, after almost four thousand words! Bravo, gold star to Mr. Eleven!
"Eleven, untie me, quick!" Lillie pleaded as the doors slammed shut. Instead of doing that however, Eleven made haste in heading towards the door, a double-sided door like the ones you see in school hallways to separate sectors, and promptly locked it giving himself some time to properly think about what in the seven hells was going on.
Okay, lets see...
Eleven took a tentacle to the freezer then the door got locked forcing them to stay the night, presumably the night at least, then fighting Min Min who suddenly who randomly turned good. Then they went to some place called Fodlan and then went to a mediocre amusement park, afterwards Eleven got knocked out, but they apparently saved the day as everything was fine.
THEN...
Then...
Then he accepted a quest from some girl, and now...
Well, this.
"Eleven, over here!" Lillie called out, getting Eleven's attention. "Can you please untie me?"
Eleven nodded begrudgingly, it was the right thing to do after all, so he went over to Lillie and for whatever reason when he got close, something about the situation felt very wonky.
{Hit 'em with some MOXIE! - Yo Kai Watch 3}
How was he supposed to do this without it being the most awkward thing in history?!
Lillie's waist was tied around four times in total, tied to the back of the chair, a rather short chair that Eleven would have to kneel down in order to actually burn the rope. Even then Lillie was wearing a shirt that had rather short sleeves, and according to the laws of nature fire is super effective against skin types.
"Are you alright, is there a problem?" Lillie asked.
…
This would be a hurdle alright, clearly the hardest boss battle in this entire fanfiction. A race against literally nothing besides keeping his own dignity in touch. He didn't have his sword, but perhaps if he used his cocky attitude and sharp wit, he could cute the rope?
No wait, he wasn't Sonic...
"Hey, if you're worried about the ropes burning my skin, I've been through worse, there was this one time when I was watching Selene do a Pokémon battle and one of her Pokémon used explosion, right? But debris from the explosion hit me right in the-"
Eleven completely ignored whatever Lillie was probably saying, doubting she'd be of any help. There would probably be a sharp enough object to help him here, but gorsh, he didn't have his Mystery Mouseketool, how would he solve this simple and straightforward task now?
Eleven put a hand to his chin to think. He could always Zoom out of there, or perhaps Kaklang against the window to break it, but none of these options seemed Metal, Slashing the rope would be hard but nothing seemed to Sizzle in his brain about it.
Wait, Sizzle? Was he thinking about-
Eleven pushed his hand forward and out came a flame bolt from his palm, coursing towards the ropes and striking them, along with the chair and ground, setting them ablaze and probably increasing his property damage bill by fifty dollars.
"Owowowow..." Lillie mucked standing up from her seat and throwing the searing rope away from her person. "I'm alright, thanks."
Eleven gave a thumbs up, as he totally did that on purpose, everything about that being a 100% genuine effort on his part, something he totally meant to do.
"Hey, open the door!" Callie called out from the outside, banging like she was the national guard.
"No thanks, we're good!" Liliie replied as she went to where Eleven was previously tied, Eleven immediately choosing to scour around the room for anything that he could use in self-defense, and by self-defense he meant first degree murder, but in a family friendly way.
"Oh my god, why didn't you tell me Ken uploaded?" Lillie whined staring at her phone. "Lets see, Raid: Shadow Legends, Amber Alert for a purple vehicle, uh..." Lillie paused as ELeven browsed through the seats on the rooms opposing side.
"Hey, if you don't open the door, we're gonna blow it up!" Marie called. "That'll go on your bill, not ours!"
"Oh... really?" Lillie asked, not seeming to pay attention. Eleven couldn't find much else, the floor was swept clean, the chairs were empty of packages, boxes, and bags and the only thing really stocked with items was the market stand, but it was quite literally only a few water bottles.
Hand-to-hand combat time...?
"Uh... Eleven?" Lillie chimed in walking up to him, both of them on the right side of the room, a little way away from the doorway. Lillie was still looking at her phone. "So... about that quest... you know the one I asked you about?"
Unfortunately, before Eleven could get more information about this supposedly crucial story thread, something hit the door. Something small, but there was something about the sound after it hit the door, almost like something expanding rapidly and-
Byooo-wekokio
Well, not like "Byooo-wekokio", that wasn't the exact noise, but it was hard to describe and may or may not have taken ten minutes to properly annunciate.
{Inkoming! - Super Smash Brothers Ultimate}
The door slammed into the opposite wall with such force you'd think the bomb creator was a genius mastermind terrorist, or maybe just some magical anime girl witch. Well, both of those would be proven wrong as from the doors outside as Eleven and Lillie peered forward... '
Orange?
Yeah, something orange launched into the building, a strange shape, kind of triangular near the top and... wiggly near the bottom. Something looked familiar about it, almost like Eleven has seen it before, but he didn't have time for another flashback right now.
Did he?
Eleven checked his calendar really quick...
…
Okay, no, it was time for a character reveal, flashbacks weren't due for a few paragraphs.
…
Okay, back to what he was doing. The orange shape, which seemed to have peculiarly purple eyes looking back at him landed, and like the main characters in another Smash fanfiction that was translated into Japanese for some reason, it transformed.
Eleven knew EXACTLY who this was the moment they landed, yet for whatever reason he felt like he had forgotten something. Orange tentacle-like hair, ears that could probably slice an apple in half, large pink sneakers, a white shirt, shorts, and...
Well, it wasn't something he wanted to deal with.
INKLING!
Makes a Splash!
Inkling, Eleven didn't know her actual name, landed and without haste pulled out her stupid little ink gun. Meaning those chicks from before probably had ink guns as well, meaning this all could've been avoided if the plot didn't demand it- I mean, if Eleven had realized it sooner.
Inkling pointed her gun and Eleven and opened her mouth. An sound came out almost like she was saying something, but she was speaking some sort of language Eleven couldn't comprehend.
"Hey, your voice thing isn't on!" Marie called from the doorway.
"Yeah, this is kinda awkward for the video..." Callie added, holding a camera.
Inkling widened her eyes and moved her free hand to the back of her neck, a little mechanical beep sounding and her... "delightful" voice being put on display.
"For real?." she groaned, Eleven wishing to be out of here as soon as possible. "Well, we'll just skip the theatrics I guess, can you guys hand me the script?" she asked towards Callie and Marie, who nodded and brought out a clipboard with pages thicker than a bowl of oatmeal.
"Here you go..." Callie said walking over cheerily, though you could tell she was slightly disappointed. "Did you forget to practice?" she asked
{Metalopod – Super Smash Brothers Ultimate}
"Sorry..." Inkling apologized, nothing about it seeming sincere.
"Oh, was this like a prank or something?" Lillie questioned, sounding confused.
"No, I actually meant to kidnap and collect-" Inkling pointed to Eleven vigorously with her free hand. "HIS spirit, but it was kind of like... I wanted to get a recording of it, but I totally messed up." Inkling explained turning back to Lillie.
"Oh, what's your name?" Lillie asked cheerily.
"Malley." Inkling- … Malley Said, greeting Lillie. "You may know me as the Inkling Girl from the Super Smash Brothers tournament." she bragged like this was unironically a big idea.
"Never heard of you." Lillie replied blankly.
"Oh." Malley sighed. "Guess-"
"I'm just kidding, you were like... in a bunch of Ken's videos!" Lillie explained, putting a slight smile on the squid's face. "Anyways, why are you here?"
"I'm here to take down my sworn rival!" Malley declared, pointing towards Eleven, who would rather be reading a Wattpad fanfiction than be experiencing. "The Hero!"
"The hero?" Lillie repeated, looking unsure. "Like the sandwich?"
"No, H-E-R-O not G-Y-R-O." Malley spelled out hoarsely.
"ohhhh, ok" Lillie nodded and scratched the side of her head. "So is Eleven the hero?"
"Eleven may be his real name, but I only know him as the person who committed a grave sin that cemented him as my rival that very day forward!" Malley yelled. "Also, the name Eleven is stupid."
"Hey, you done here?" Callie chimed in. "If you're not gonna kill this guy, can we wrap it up here?"
"Not yet, for I must explain to this girl what The Hero did to make him my sworn rival!" Malley declared. "Sit down, except you!" Malley beckoned, pointing to Eleven for the second part. "You have to stand for my flashback, which shall be told... now!"
Inkling's big surprise!
Chapter 1 – The destined rival
Disclaimer: The following is a parody of average Smash fanfiction. Pleas e do not flame, I occasionally miss errors :(
{Deluge Dirge - Splatoon}
Inkling, Malley to be more precise, walked down the halls of the Smash Mansion, the breeze flowing in her tentacle hair, and holding four things in her hands. Four gift baskets. It had been something she had done for a while, she had given a gift basket to every single fighter, whether it be Samus, Ridley, Mewtwo, or that strange Joker person, she had given each and every one of them a gift basket.
And now the newest fighter, newest fighters, the heroes!
There was Erdrick, Solo, Eight, and the best in her opinion, Eleven. She had watched Eleven flawlessly help in the plight to defeat Dharkon back in the world of light, how he randomly used amazing fire magic against spawning explosives when the others wouldn't, where he made really stupid decisions that everyone mildly disliked him for, and even when he fell off of a cliff before everyone made the finishing blow to Dharkon, so amazing...
Well, more like different if she was completely honest.
As much as she loved the Smash Mansion, everyone here was horridly one note, they looked like their character designs you could say. Kirby was nice, Bowser was decently evil, Wario was... well, he was Wario, and the other three heroes were quiet and stoic.
Eleven was quiet, but...
Stoic wouldn't really be correct.
But it was time. Malley stopped outside of the rooms of the Heroes, each of them across from each other, and she pondered to make her perhaps life changing decision. There was Erdrick and Solo's room, and then there was Eight and Eleven's room.
"Hm..." Malley pondered to herself, deciding to play a little game. "Eenie, Meenie, Minie, ELEVEN!" she declared, turning towards the room of Eight and Eleven. She knocked on the door thrice, and waited for a response. "..."
The door opened, a foot moving outside towards the bottom, and a face peeked out. It was Eight. "Hm?" Eight asked, looking above Malley.
Malley cleared her throat, "Ahem." Eight looked down at her, and while he looked sort of surprised, he clearly had a face that was waiting for something to happen. "I brought these gift baskets for you and Eleven, kind of a welcoming gift, you know?"
"Hmm." Eight nodded and Malley handed him a gift basket, they were filled with chocolates and other various sweets, the bottom having a four-dollar gift card for one month of Nintendo Switch Online, the hot new service which gives you access to 60+ NES and SNES games, along with special offers and free game trials.
"Is Eleven there?" Malley asked, peeking into the room but seeing a bunch of boxes on one side, and literally nothing on the other. Eight shook his head, but he looked back down the hallway from whence Malley came. He pointed there, and there came Eleven, seeming to struggle as he was holding a massive box in his hands. "Oh, okay, I'll wait for him here."
Eleven came trotting down the hallway, his face red with either pain or ULTRA pain, considering he was walking like a crab with diabetes. Eight beckoned Eleven forward, and Eleven nodded, getting close enough to see a box that said "Erdrick's weapons," stopping almost directly in front of her, the height difference becoming apparent, so apparent that he probably couldn't see her past the box he was holding.
"W...h...e...r...e...?" Eleven asked with a rather proper voice, though it seemed clearly stretched out thanks to the strain. Eight motioned to the other room, Erdrick and Solo's, but instead of turning like most would, Eleven... Eleven committed to most grave mistake you could ever do. He ran out of stamina, and dropped the box.
Directly onto Malley's foot.
In that moment as the maybe 50 pounds of pure steel dropped on Malley's right foot, the gift baskets went flying, though Eight managed to catch one, Eleven noticed she was there, and Malley let out a gut-wrenching scream. A scream that, after finished, would be the very moment that she knew he would become her rival.
IT wasn't due to the dropping itself, no. Rather...
Eleven NEVER apologized.

{Rip Entry – Splatoon}
Lillie gasped dramatically and peered at Eleven. "How could you not see her, I mean, she isn't that short."
"Well, he's still tall." Malley countered, crossing her arms at Eleven. "After that I kind of followed him around for a month tried to make him apoligize but he never did, so I asked that Dark Pit guy to help me get back at him, and I think he put a hole in a boat he was in, don't quote me on that though."
Figured as much.
"Well, a few months after that, the darkness laser thingy-"
"Darkness laser thingy?" Lillie singled out, tilting her head. "Huh?"
"Like a few days ago, a bunch of dark lasers hit everyone, almost everyone, some escaped of course, but that's beside the point!" Malley declared. "After the darkness laser thingy, I learned Eleven was one of the few who escaped the blast, and specifically asked The Boss if I could go after him."
"Yeah, and he told us to tag along with her." Callie chimed in.
"Okay." Lillie acknowledged. "So... why did you just tell us all of that?"
"Well, it would rude to not explain it, you did ask." Malley said, leaning forward. "Now, we were going to take The Hero's spirit, but it appears he somehow escaped." she noticed, even though that was like five minutes ago.
"Yeah, well anyways, if you're not going to do whatever that is, can we leave?" Lillie pleaded, her eyes on the door. "This is boring."
"It wouldn't be boring if you didn't ask so many questions, gosh!" Malley huffed, turning away. "Anyways, I was going to do like this huge speech and whatever, but let's just go outside to continue, okay?"
"Yeah, this is super boring." Callie agreed, walking towards the non-door with Marie. "Don't mess up next time."
"Sorry, I really am!" Malley sighed as the disappeared outside. "Ugh, I suck." she complained, putting a hand to her face.
Tell me about it...
"Eleven, she's like... fourteen, don't be rude!"
"Yeah, don't be rude Eleven." Lillie conferred. "Whatever you said, I didn't hear it." she admitted, turning to Malley. "By the way, do you guys have my Pokéball, the one with Snowy in it."
"Yeah, it's outside." Malley established. "Anyways, you finish up here, I shall be waiting for my rival outside!" she boasted, pointing her gun towards the door-hole. "See you there."
Malley walked out the door, what used to be the door, and Eleven honestly wanted to punch himself in the face to see if this was some sort of trauma induced nightmare. Of all the people, no of all the fighters in the tournament, why did it have to be the most annoying kid out of the bunch?
What she said had happened, happened, but she had left out a few parts. She had left out how after that she didn't leave Eleven alone for the next month, nor did she mention how she constantly felt the need to ask him to apologize when he clearly was not in the wrong in any way shape or form. Sure, others made the claim he was in the wrong, and the legislature said he was wrong, and the Supreme Court said he was wrong, and the President said he was wrong, and the aliens said he was wrong, but they were wrong about him being wrong, because he was right and they were wrong.
...
*Insert Trump joke here*
"Eleven, is something wrong?" Lillie questioned, tapping him on the shoulder. "You seem angry about something; you know that girl?" Eleven shook his head and tried to get away from the conversation. "Is she your daught-"
"NO." Eleven screamed, his voice almost cracking in the process.
"Okay, you don't have to yell!" Lillie complained, covering her ears. "Gosh."
Aspect then cut in. "Okay, you three done here? I need to explain while Lila-"
"Lillie." Lillie corrected.
"Loli-"
"Lillie." Lillie repeated.
"Lalli-"
"Lillie." Lillie insisted.
"Lily."
"Close enough." Lillie compromised.
"I need to explain why Lillie can hear me."
Okay, go ahead.
"Due to her following you after you accepting her quest, she's now what's considered a Party Member." Aspect inquired. "A Party Member is... well, a temporary member of your group-"
Why wasn't Min Min a party member then?
"Min Min-"
"Who's Min Min?" Lillie wondered.
"Not important for the next fifty chapters that's what she is. Anyways, you never accepted a quest from Min Min, so she never became a party member."
Fair. Though it's probably more like the idea was never though of-
"ANYWAYS, long story short until you complete her quest, Lillie will continue to be a party member of yours, you can't give up on the quest."
Why?
"Because I said so, Eleven."
…
"Anyways, do me a favor and don't do anything stupid, the way the score is looking, it's like you're getting JV3'd right now."
J...V...
"Just do your job."
Ok, I heard you, I heard you.
"Oh, and one more thing."
Hm?
"One of the other heroes is here, in Alola."
Huh?!
…
Eleven didn't get a response, unfortunate, as he clearly needed more help that what most could accurately provide. It seemed this would only be the start of his misadventures in the Alola region, and will no weapon in his hand, no shield for protection, and a literal twelve-year-old by his side, Eleven walked forward, and stepped through the hole where the door used to be.
{===}
Eleven does speak in Dragon Quest 11, but only in flashbacks, and in the flashbacks, he has an accent. Honestly everyone in Dragon Quest 11 has an accent, it's a strangely culturally diverse game. Also, I rewatched the Hero presentation for Smash and it says Eleven is 16, but like...
Let's be real, none of the Heroes look 16, for the sake of this story they're all adults. I mean, you can get married in Dragon Quest Eleven, and ya kinda have to be an adult to get married, so yeah...
Watched the Sephiroth event, and a few words on that, but first...
SEPHIROTH!
His reveal was very HYPE, and while I didn't scream as loud as I did with Steve, Sephiroth's reveal made me say "What?!" and "Huh?!" the most out of any reveal trailer. While Min Min was exciting, and Steve was surprising, Sephiroth was just...
Unexpected as hell.
But concerning his moveset...
Eh.
Good enough.
He'll probably be top tier. He's a glass cannon character, and as such he'll probably be top 10. Glass Cannons in Smash (Like Pikachu, Peach, Joker, and Steve to a certain extent) are usually really good as long as they can easily gimp opponents, which sephiroth 100% can with his big hitboxes and large explosions, I imagine he'll have a lot of kill confirms.
I know exactly where he'll show up in this fic as well, but it's in the distant future.
Also, one more thing.
Sakurai spoiled FF7 for me...
Yeah, he said spoilers, but I didn't expect him to give us the whole freaking story. Eh, I still like the gameplay so I'll play it.
Other than that?
Inklings name came from some Smashboards user, thank you for giving me a name for I was creatively bankrupt in the naming endeavor for Inkling.
Thasss it!
See you in January 2021 for the next chapter!
