After being at the park, Cheng had been in his room all day thinking about what had happened with Jennifer.
"I can't believe how stupid I am" Cheng said "How can I feel in love with that girl?" hitting his pillow
"I need to get this thoughts away from my head as soon as possible" Cheng said.
A few days later
Cheng realized he was stupid, selfish, wrong, and crazy about Jennifer. Now he knew he couldn't live without her. She was nowhere near distraction, she was a beautiful, strong, caring sweet soul. Yet he knew that. He just didn't feel like he deserved her.Now he was going insane without her.
"I have to try and find her."
Cheng went to the park and saw her there talking with Meiying.
"I love going to the beach," he heard her tell Meiying. "That's why my hair is slightly blonde in the ends."
"Hey can i touch it" Cheng said grabbing one of Jennifer's wavy locks.
"oh god why do you keep harassing me like go get a life" Jennifer said starting to walk away
"I was trying to be friendly with you" Cheng said kind of sad
"I dont want your friendship," Jennifer said kind of cold "I don't want anything to do with you."
"Look Jennifer please let explain! I promise you'll understand just please hear me out!" Cheng begged desperately.
"Hi Jen, want to buy some ice cream?" Harry said approching Jennifer and Cheng
"Of course Harry then we could go play some video games at my house" Jennifer said looking at Harry and ignoring Cheng
"You aren't going anywhere Jennifer until we finish our conversation" Cheng say demanding her attention
"We never have conversation because everytime we talk you always go smiling and I go with a broken heart" Jennifer said looking everywhere except cheng
"Can we go now Jennifer?" Harry asked
"yes let's go there's nothing else to do here" Jennifer said walking away with Harry shoulder by shoulder.
Cheng stood there with anger and sadness in his eyes staring at both young adults walk away...he felt jealous of the attention Jennifer was giving Harry.
"I wish I could be like Harry but better" Cheng said walking away from the park toward Liang's house.
" hello cheng" Liang said.
"hello Liang can I go upstairs" Cheng asked miserable
"of course come on in" Liang said.
Cheng followed Liang upstairs until they reached Liang's door.
"How did Harry met Jennifer?" Cheng asked bummed out.
"Is was Dre. Meiying told him about your breakup an Dre introduced them."
Cheng was jealous and annoyed.
"I'm going to rest for a few minutes" Cheng said
"I be in the rec. room, ok" Liang said
"ok" Cheng say closing his eyes and thinking about Jennifer. Her soft skin, her eyes, her body, her hair
