The battle heated between them. the striving instinct for blood blinded them. Putting everything on the line, the situation got worse. Both of them were injured badly. Loki had no more source of magic to heal his wounds, vice versa, Thor's body got drained of his strength and his wounds are healing slowly. Visually, you could tell Thor was in a bad condition by the wounds, except he still had a lot of stamina. On the other side, Loki looked perfectly fine, his injuries were much less than Thor's, except his stamina was finished. He can no longer resist Thor. Realizing this fact, he decided to put everything left on this one last attack hoping that it will work. He diverted himself into two clones, just like when they were on the bridge. This time though, he will use it wisely. His two clones rushed to the sides of Thor's, and him in the middle. Thor swang his swords cutting through the two fake clones on the sides making them disappear, and next he aimed at the middle. "The same trick won't work twice!" he thrust his sword to the front, and when he was on motion of doing so, a figure slipped from behind loki. "What the!''. surprised, the figure slashed through the hand that was holding the sword, flinging it away.
Loki made three clones, the third was running in front of him hiding his presence. This way he managed to break through Thor and startled him. Flinging the sword away, he kicked Thor's leg and he fell on it, leaving a wide spot for a critical hit to end his life. Loki raised his hand with a victory smile drawn on his lips aiming at his neck to cut it open. At that moment, a sound of something cracked, and a gentle voice called him (Loki). The Image of his mother's crying face took its place and merged with Thor's face. Getting a painful headache and a surprising fear, he missed his target, landing the dagger on Thor's shoulder.
Loki backed up holding his head in agony, he growled in pain as it was unbearable. His right eye turned back to emerald green while the left remained blue. His vision blurred and he couldn't see the punch that was delivered to him from Thor.
As Thor took the chance that Loki was in, he rose up on his feet dashing with his right hand shaped as a fist, delivering a punch from down to up his chin. Then he grabbed him from the collar delivering more punches to the face. Lastly, he grabbed him from his head smashing it on the wall.
The wall broke on top of Loki. Thor stood in his place, heaving in exhaustion, taking his breath, then he went to grab his sword to finish his business.
Loki was in deep pain, not from the wreckage that was on top of him, but from his head. The pain doubled itself and he didn't know how to stop it. He barely managed his way out of the wreckage, unable to stand, he sat on his knees. Warm liquid ran down on his eyes and entered it. He rubbed his eyes to the sudden liquid that entered making them close. Opening them again, he looked through his blurred vision and saw red color on his hand. His head was bleeding from the impact, and what he didn't know was that his eyes were fully red due to the blood that entered them. That was when his eyesight met long legs standing in front of him and a third object beside them. the sword. "so you decided to show your true form monster", Thor said, mistaking the blood in Loki's eyes from the jotun's crimson ones. He thought that Loki changed himself to his jotun form to kill him.
On the other side, Loki's original self partially returned to him, hearing the word monster hurted badly, and out of despair that Thor might believe him, he reached his hand with whatever left of his strength and tucked on Thor's leg, pleading "please brother, I'm not a monster", funny, did this happen before? Oh yes, the vision. Remembering this he let go of his hand realizing that nothing will change. how pathetic he thought, the moment he discovered his true identity he knew things will go like this, dying as a monster, yet he tried to change it, and look where it led him, to nothing but death, how foolish.
"the thing is, you were never my brother", Thor left his hand and delivered the hit, something cracked again, and both of them were blown away. Thanos stood from his seat to the sudden change, he felt the mind link disconnect with them, and from his point of view, the blow came from Loki. Some sort of magic that its impact was too strong to cut the line of connection. The two brothers' eyes returned to their original color, both of them lifted themselves off the ground and their eyes met, they looked so lost, not understanding what just happened, but one thing they felt. Their heads felt light and clear.
