"Is he back yet?" asked Minerva.
"Who?"
Minerva glared at Severus. "You know who," she responded coldly.
"If you are referring to Albus," said Severus, "I think you will find he is still missing from his portrait."
"Damn him," Minerva shouted. "Leaving me, especially now…"
"I heard Ginny's baby shower was interrupted," said Eupraxia. "Poor dear."
Minerva was about to reply, when suddenly Harry burst through her door at an alarming rate.
"Honestly, Potter, do you ever knock?" she said brusquely, quickly using her wand to tie her hair up in a tight bun.
"Sorry, Professor, but it's really important," Harry said. He looked like he had sprinted: He was clearly out of breath and his face was red.
"Go on, but as I said years ago, you may call me Minerva," Minerva replied.
"Fine," said Harry. "Anyways, we were observing some memories, and we found out Andromeda Tonks is the mother of Vodemort's child."
Minerva grasped the back of her chair for support.
"She's not," Minerva said.
"Of course she is! We know for a fact that she is the-"
"Potter!" Minerva said angrily. "She isn't the mother!"
"Well then, who is?" Harry shouted.
Minerva stared at him, seething with rage.
"Get out," she said quietly.
"Excuse me?" Harry asked.
"Get out," Minerva repeated. "Go back to your apartment and stay with Ginny. Under no circumstances are you to visit that room again."
"You can't tell me what to do! I'm not one of your students!" Harry screamed.
"Get out of my office!" Minerva shrieked, so angry she thought she might explode.
Harry shot her once last hateful glance before leaving, slamming the door in his wake. Minerva stood silently for a few minutes, before Dippet's voice came from behind.
"That was uncalled for," he said quietly.
"I have to agree," came Severus' voice. "Were you just feeling particularly moody today or is there something you aren't telling us?"
"Be quiet," Minerva retorted, turning to face the wall of former headmasters and headmistresses.
"We're only trying to help," said Eupraxia soothingly.
"Well you're not," Minerva replied icily. Using her wand she opened the window and went to stand near it, letting the fresh air calm her down. She hadn't meant to shout at Harry, but he'd pushed her too far. There were some things he didn't know; some things he couldn't know, and she wouldn't be the one to tell him.
Disclaimer: I own none of Harry Potter.
