Ch 14 Back to School Shopping

12 Grimmauld Place August 29th, 1995, 2:15 PM

-ZZZ- So, Ritsuka how is that dimension treating you? -ZZZ- Dr. Hope asked the director via hologram.

Ritsuka sighs, leaning back on his chair. "It's kind of weird, here they all treat me with respect and instantly got used to me." He informs his therapist. "Jane, however, is a bit reluctant."

The Chaldean therapist looked intrigued on that topic. -ZZZ- Interesting to say that, care to tell me? -ZZZ- she asked.

"Well for starters, she said that me and this world's Harry have the same personality, yet the others see me as similar to his," Ritsuka explains. "

-ZZZ- How so? -ZZZ-

"For the Harry here, he's a ladies man and takes things seriously when the situation calls for it," Ritsuka explains on what he heard from the Order. "That's what the Order told me about him."

-ZZZ- I see, -ZZZ- Dr. Hope nodded. -ZZZ- From what you have told me about Harry, you and he are more alike. -ZZZ-

Ritsuka looks confused, not understanding what she means. "How so? From what I can tell both me and him are similar but not the same."

Dr. Hope places down her glasses. She stares right at her boss in his blue eyes. -ZZZ- Ritsuka, I know that some personality traits between you two don't share, like being a ladies' man. However, I do see some, like the sense of justice between you two. -ZZZ-

Ritsuka ponders about it for a moment. "I get what you mean," He sighs. "But I do have a feeling that everyone in Hogwarts will see me as Harry from this world, Jane seems to understand but can't help whenever she sees me; she instantly sees Harry. Both in personality and physical."

-ZZZ- Well, there's one solution to this Ritsuka. -ZZZ- Dr. Hope folded her legs, placing back her glasses.

"What's that?" Ritsuka asked his therapist.

Dr. Hope smiles, leaning closer. -ZZZ- Show them that you are you, not Harry. By being yourself. -ZZZ- she gave him her advice.

Jamie walks up the stairs, he saw Lanling standing guard in front of Ritsuka's door. "Uh…Saber?"

Lanling blinks and looks down at the boy with an owl on his shoulders. "Lord Jamie, do you need something?" he asked.

"Y-Yeah," Jamie looks at the door to his 'brother's' room. "I wanted to see if Ritsuka wants to join us to Diagon Alley, we're going shopping for the school supplies." He informs the Prince.

"Ah, I do apologize but master is currently engaged in something for the moment," Lanling explains. "I'm not sure how long the session is, but it's highly unlikely for him to be finished by the time you all head out."

"O-Oh," Jamie blinks before Hedwig chirps, seeing Hinako and Da Vinci exiting the room right.

Da Vinci and Hinako noticed the two and walk over to them. "Saber, Jamie, what going on?" The Caster asked, curious about these two.

"Lady Caster, Lady Hinako, are you finish with your talk?" The Saber asked them.

Hinako nodded to her friend, "Yes Saber, we have." She eyed the boy, standing next to him. "Now what is it you need, Jamie?" The Dead Apostle asked him.

"O-Oh, I was going to ask if Ritsuka wants to join us to Diagon Alley," Jamie answered the Assassin. "But, he's busy with something."

"Diagon Alley eh?" Da Vinci sounds interested, "Mind if we tag along, Jamie?" she asked her master's 'brother'.

"Why's that?" Jamie tilts his head, out of curiosity.

Da Vinci smiles before flipping her hair dramatically. "As you can see, I'm the Head of the Technology Development Division of Chaldea, and Hinako here is a director. We hardly had any time to properly explore Diagon Alley back in our world." The Caster explains.

"Seeing that we're going to be your instructors, it would be smart to gather information about the courses we're going to teach," Hinako added.

"Personally, I want to know what kind of things they have about the Mundane World." Da Vinci piqued with a smile.

Jamie froze, hearing what she said. "Wait, you're going to be our new Muggle Studies Professor?" he asked, surprised at what she reveals.

Da Vinci blinks at the boy. "Oh? I guess Dumbledore didn't reveal that to you children yet." She chuckles before waving it off. "Anywho, could you please keep this between us three? Dumbledore doesn't want any info about the new courses out yet." She blinks.

"Caster," Hinako sighs while Lanling smiles.

"S-Sure? But I still don't get why you can't tell us yourself about the new things at Hogwarts." Jamie asked.

Da Vinci shrugs, "Dumbledore says he doesn't want any students to have an upper hand on this year's term." The Caster replied, rethinking what he informs her and Ritsuka through a letter. "Now that I think about it, I believe it was the Ministry who told him not to reveal anything to the students." She ponders.

They heard a scoff behind them, Ron walking towards them. "If you ask me, Malfoy probably got his father to have Fudge tell him about what classes this term."

"Malfoy?" Hinako questioned. "As in Draco Malfoy and his parents?" she asked the red-haired boy.

Ron blinks at the Assassin. "Yeah? Didn't you have those people in your world, being jerks to you and Ritsuka?" He questions, going on what the family is like base on their own versions.

Hinako was about to answer when Da Vinci places her hand on her shoulder. "We do, Ronald butt remember that events play out differently than yours." She explains once more.

"Alright," Ron went along, feeling he'll get confused if they delve into it deeper. "So is Ritsuka coming with us?"

Jamie shook his head, "No, he busy with work from his organization from what Saber told me." he turns to the two females. "These two want to come with us though."

"Indeed, Lord Ronald maybe next time." Lanling smiles softly.

"No worries," Ron waved it off. "We should get going now. I'm sure everyone is downstairs waiting for us." He points to the front.

"Right," They all replied.

Jane crossed her arms, waiting for her brother and Ron to arrive. "Jane?" she turns around to her mother standing behind her, hands folded.

"Yes, Mum?" Jane asked, wondering what she needs.

"I have noticed that you've been standing in front of Ritsuka's door this morning before breakfast," Lily told her daughter what she saw. Jane's eyes widen that she noticed that this morning, well can't expect to hide things from her parents. "Have you two come to terms with each other?" she asked.

"N-No, we're on talking terms. Nothing too grand than that." Jane answered her, feeling.

Lily understands what her daughter is saying, "Well, at least you're attempting to befriend him." she smiles.

Jane looks away from her mother's gaze. "Yeah, attempt." Her words trail off, still unsure about him.

"Sorry, we're late." Jamie enters the room with Ron and the Chaldeans.

"Jamie, you can't be serious on bringing Hedwig to Diagon Alley, are you?" Lily saw the owl of her eldest son, perch on his shoulders.

Hedwig hoots as Jamie scratches her chin. "Come on Mum, Hedwig was inside all summer. She rarely is out." The youngest son of the Potter reasons with his mother. "The only time she's been out is when Dad used her to deliver letters to Madame Bones and the Headmaster." He looked at her with his puppy eyes, knowing this will always work.

Lily saw the eyes her son is making, she sighs. "Fine, but be sure to watch her closely." Lily gave in. "I don't want her getting lost." Worried for the owl that Harry left behind for him.

"I won't Mum!" Jamie smiles as Hedwig chirps happily.

Molly looks at the small group, surprised at how many have join Jamie and Ron. "Is Ritsuka coming? Hinako, Caster?" she asked the Servants.

"Ritsuka is preoccupied for the moment," Hinako informs them. "We wanted to accompany you to Diagon Alley if you all don't mind." The Dead Apostle asked the group.

Fred looks at his brother, smirking at him. "Well, what do you say brother? Shall we let them join?" Fred asked George who nodded,

"Why not dear Fred, it'll be interesting for them to be around." George smiles brightly.

Da Vinci sighs, seeing how the twins act the same in this world too. Molly shook her head before smiling at the two. "We're happy for you two joining us," she responded.

"Thank you for having us, Mrs. Weasley." Da Vinci replied to Molly.

Hermione walks up to the two. "Glad to have you with us." She said happily before looking at Lily and Molly. "Did our letters arrive yet?"

"They came in yesterday," Arthur came in with the letters in his hands. He hands them each one of the children their letters, leaving one left in his hand. "Huh? Where's Ginny?" he looks around the room.

Molly and Lily looked too around the room, searching for the only daughter of the Weasleys. "Where is that girl?" Molly ponders out loud.

"Have you seen Ginny, Hermione?" Lily asked the Muggle-born.

Hermione thought for a moment then remember seeing her in her room. "Yes, she was in her room this-"

"I'm here!" Ginny came into the room, in a pink robe with a white shirt underneath and a black skirt. She paused seeing two beautiful women than her, standing with the rest of her family and friends. "Uh, who are they?" She sneers at them both.

"Ginny what took you so-"

Ginny waved her hand at her mother, ignoring the question she was just asked. "Yeah, yeah, Mum." She stomps up to the two Servants. "I don't know why you two are here, but just because you both look pretty doesn't mean you can walk around being high and mighty!" she sneers at the Dead Apostle and Caster.

"Ginevra Molly Weasley! You apologize to Caster and Hinako this instant young lady!" Molly scolded her daughter for insulting their guest.

'Definitely different from out Ginny.' Da Vinci thought, looking at Hinako sharing the same thought as she is.

"Why? Look at them, slutty outfits that obviously created to gain attention." Ginny points out the outfits they're wearing.

Hinako blinks and looks at Da Vinci, "They're outfits aren't slutty Ginny." Arthur defended the woman.

"Yeah, if you want to see slutty you should speak to the other wom-"George was nudged at his side by Fred for almost revealing the other ladies that Ginny might attack.

Da Vinci walks up to Ginny, with a plastered smile on her face. Ginny glares back at the Caster, "What bitch?" she snaps.

"I wouldn't go around, being high and might Ginny." Da Vinci started, "Calling people by vulgar names will get you in trouble with certain people if you're not careful." She warns the unpleasant girl, emitting a dark aura around her causing fear to rise.

'Scary," The Order felt the dark aura from the Caster Servant.

Ginny felt fear from this woman, fear that she never thought she would encounter other than Voldemort. She puts it off and scoffs. "Whatever," she huffed, "I'm not interested in coming to Diagon Alley. Get my supplies when you get a chance" She turns around, heading straight to her room. Everyone shook their heads of how she spoke to the Servants.

"Ginny! Come back here this-" Molly sighs, seeing that her daughter already left for her room. "What am I going to do with that girl's attitude." She sighs before looking back at Hinako and Da Vinci.

Molly inclines her head to them, "I apologize for my daughter's behavior, Caster, Hinako.

Hinako shook her head. "We have met worst people than Ginny, we're use to it by now." The Assassin replies, smiling lightly at her. "There's nothing you should be apologizing for."

Da Vinci nodded. "Yes, if anything Ginny should be the one apologizing. Not you." The Caster added.

Molly smiles. "Oh my, thank you for that."

Arthur steps into the conversation. "Anyways, let's head out shopping before the store closes." He said as everyone nodded, going into the Floo network.

Once everyone was out of the fireplace where they Flooed in, Arthur waited for Hinako and Da Vinci to exit the Floo. A bright green flame burst, letting Hinako then Da Vinci exited the fireplace. "Mph! I think I'm going to throw up." Hinako covered her mouth, feeling queasy after using Floo.

Da Vinci felt queasy too, but manage to hold it in. "I-I will never get used to that, (Rayshifting is much better than this.)" She whispers to herself on the last part.

The children laugh seeing them being all nauseous instead of being cool-headed back home. "Don't worry, I think you'll get used to it soon enough." Molly smiles at the two.

Lily claps her hands gaining their attention. "Alright everyone, we have a big list of items on this term's list." She announced to the group. "We divide and conquer, Molly-"

"Me, Arthur, Fred, and George will get the other requirements on the list." Molly continued after Lily, "While you get the books. Is that alright with you Lily?"

Lily nodded before looking at the Chaldeans. "What about you two? Where do you want to go with?"

Hinako looks at the children, seeing Hermione's desperation for her to come with her group. She then looks at Da Vinci, smiling already knowing where to go. "I believe we would be better off going to the bookstore," Hinako replied.

"Yes, there's some research material I would like to do on the courses at Hogwarts." Da Vinci added seeing the joy from Hermione and Jamie's faces.

"Well, alright then." Lily accepted their request; Jane however felt a bit uncomfortable for them following her group. Soon they followed Arthur out of the building.

(Insert Festive theme (Diagon Alley) - Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone) The doors opened wide for them to a crowded Alley. Arthur looks at the two Chaldeans with a bright smile, excited to be the one greeting them to the best place in the country, (In his preference). "Caster, Ms. Akuta, welcome to Diagon Alley! The only place where Hogwarts's supplies are found.

The Chaldeans observe around them, seeing many Wizards and Witches shopping on the cobblestone streets. "Now we're all going to meet up back here in two hours," Molly announced to everyone. "Good luck to all of us," she walks off with her husband to the other end of the Alley.

"So, Hinako, Caster what are you looking for in your research," Hermione asked the two Servants.

"Oh, just things about the Mundane and History." Da Vinci answered the bushy-haired girl. "It's nothing that much," she added.

Hermione looks like she's eager to help them. "Then let me help." Hermione offered. "I know that bookstore like the back of my hand!" she cheerfully said,

"Oh boy, here we go." Ron sighs, already knowing where this would go.

Hermione glares at him before turning back to the Chaldeans. "Anyways, I can show you where the books you both are looking for." She smiles.

Hinako nodded. "We appreciate that, Hermione." The Dead Apostle replied, appreciating her help in their search.

They arrived at the bookstore, they enter it seeing the long line that reaches the front. "Oh my, this will take longer than I thought," Lily observes the line from where they're standing.

"Oh no, we might not have time to look for what you two need." Hermione gasps sadden that this is the case.

Da Vinci shook her head. "Nonsense, I have a plan for this." She looks at Lily, "Lily mind if you stay on the line?"

"Sure, but why?" Lily asked the Renaissance Woman about what she's planning.

Da Vinci smirks. "Hehe, if you stay on the line we can go in and pick out the need textbooks for the children's term." She explains to the group. "We can come to you once we're all done with our task." She finishes her explanation to the Potter's wife.

Lily looked at her, impressed that she thought of that idea. "That sounds it would work." She compliments her.

"Yeah, nice thinking Caster!" Jamie cheered as Hedwig flaps her wings in joy.

"Where did you get that idea, Caster?" Ron asked the Tech Advisor.

Da Vinci chuckles, flipping her hair. "As a genius like myself; you have to plan for what fate might throw at you." she smiles with pride hearing the claps from Ron and Jamie.

Jane sighs not liking her boastful tone. "Is she always boastful?" The red-haired asked Hinako.

"Yes, but we're used to it by now," Hinako answered her,

"I see," Hermione observes Da Vinci's personality.

Lily claps her hands together, gaining their attention. "Alright, now kids go and find your books. I'll stay here on the line until then." She told the children under her care.

They went off inside the bookstore in search of their books. "You think this is the one? It has the same title as the one in the letter," Ron held a book in his hand and his letter in the other.

Jamie looks around and found another copy with a different title. "No, this must be it," he said showing it to the redhead.

Jane walks around the second floor of the store, with a stack of books in her hands. "I think this might help." She heard Hermione's voice from the other side of the shelf.

"Yes, this might help too for our research." Da Vinci commented, "Thank you, Hermione." She thanked the Muggle-born. Jane reaches the end of her aisle before turning to the next, she saw Hermione holding the same amount of books as she is. Hermione was next to Da Vinci and Hinako with a few books about the Muggle world and one History book.

"To think the bookstore would have multiple books about their history," Hinako observes the shelves, finding the same title as the history book in her hands. "Well, it's something." She sighs.

Hermione had this sorrowful expression on her face. "I-I'm sorry, but it looks like they only have one history book." She apologies to the two. "And it's about the Goblin Rebellion too."

"Don't worry too much about it, Hermione." Da Vinci tries to cheer her up. "We can make do with our own history books we have in store." She informs her.

"Your own history." Hermione shutters in excitement. "I really excited to learn more from your history in your world. Comparing with our own and yours will be a rare experience for us." She smiles.

Jane sighs, walking over to grab the history book from the shelf. "If you want more history books, try Hogwarts's library." She informs the three. "Their collection is much bigger than this store and a lot of other stuff too."

"That's right!" Hermione perked up. She turns around excitedly to the Chaldeans. "You should try looking at the library in Hogwarts. Their books might help with your research." She suggested to them.

Hinako thought for a moment, she turns to Hermione smiling. "We might do that, thank you, Hermione."

"Yes, your dedication in assisting us is much appreciated." Da Vinci added before looking at Jane. "And you too Jane, thank you." she has a sincere look of gratitude on her face.

Jane turns around blushing. "W-Well, it's nothing. You two seem you need help, so I did."

"Well, thank you anyway," Hinako commented.

"Well, well, if it isn't Potter and the Mudblood." A voice that gave the two Gryffindors headaches.

"Malfoy, what are you doing here?" Jane sneers at the Slytherin walking up to them.

'Malfoy?' Hinako looks at the blonde boy with a smug look across his face.

Da Vinci has this feeling this Draco is one of the Purebloods of the Ministry, 'So in this world, the Malfoys aren't part of the Association nor any connections to the Animuspheres.' She concluded. 'A shame, that family is always a pleasure to have around.'

"I'm looking at my books, Potter." Draco noticed the two new adults hanging around this aisle. "Well, it seems there are some more Mudbloods to make friends with Granger." He jokes.

"At least they're smarter than you, Malfoy." Hermione retorted back, seeing the frustrated expression on his face.

Draco sneers at her for making that comment. "You better watch yourself, Granger, Potter, things will be different around this year." He warns them. "Since the great Harry Potter is lying where he belongs like the failure he is."

"Sod off Malfoy!" Ron walks up to Draco with Jamie behind him.

"Well, if it isn't Weasley and Potter Jr." Draco gave them the same smug look as he did with the girls. "How is it without have Potter around to follow like the dogs you-"

"I think that's enough." Hinako interrupted Draco before he could finish his sentence.

Draco turns to the Dead Apostle, "Well standing up for the Blood Traitors, are we? I wouldn't be shocked, after all, they love your kind to pieces." He gave a disgusted look at her.

"Real mature Mr. Malfoy, real mature of a child of your age." Hinako scoffs never thought that the respectable, loyal, and kindhearted Draco they know would turn out like this. "I hope you're attitude towards me wouldn't affect your education in my class." She closes her eyes,

"What does that mean, Mudblood?" Draco demanded of the Assassin.

"It means she's going to be your instructor for the new subject this year." Da Vinci decided to step in, "I'm sure your father told you about the course already, right?"

Draco stared at these two, thinking that they have the guts to stand up to him. "Yes, he did," he smiles proudly. "Who are the two of you anyway?"

"Hinako Akuta, your assistant Professor for the Lore class." Hinako introduces herself to her soon-to-be student. "The Professor of the class isn't with us, he'll introduce himself during the opening dinner for the term."

"Caster, I'll be around Hogwarts so…" Da Vinci smirks at him. "Expect me to be in the 'halls' of Hogwarts."

"Tch, whatever." Draco huffed, "Can't believe the old coot would bring more dirty blood in Hogwarts," he walks off knowing he can't go against an adult without his father around.

Ron was about to punch Draco for saying those insults to the two Servants. Hinako held his shoulders, preventing him from doing so. "Hinako? What are you doing? He insulted you two." Ron reasons with the Dead Apostle.

"Ronald, if you punch him then it'll make you like him, but worse." Hinako lectured the young man.

"Then what we're supposed to do then?" Jamie asked the Servants,

Da Vinci smiles, ruffling his red hair. "Be the mature ones, Draco is just acting like a four-year-old."

In the Storm Border. "ACHHOOO!" Draco sneezes to the side of his bed. He blinks after his sneezes. "I think someone is talking about me."

"It'll bite him back for his actions." Da Vinci lectured them too.

"I see what you both mean," Hermione said, inspired by their words of wisdom.

Jane remained silent, taking the words into heart. She shook her head before walking to the stairs. "C-Come on, Mum is probably waiting at the clerk now." She walks down the stairs.

Hermione sighs, but Jane has a point. "Yeah, she's probably right."

"I guess so," Da Vinci smiles. "Let's get going you kids." She chuckles leading them to the front.

Ritsuka sat down on his desk smiling at the video screen. -ZZZ- Da-dy? -ZZZ- Romani tilts his head. He chuckles, proud that his son could say a few words now.

"That's right, say it again for Daddy." Ritsuka urges the violet haired boy to say his name.

-ZZZ- Da-dy…DADDY!-ZZZ- The little boy cheered as Ritsuka cheered for him.

Mashu giggles on the other side of the screen. -ZZZ- He's saying more words now than ever, I do hope you get to hear them in person, Ritsuka. -ZZZ- Mashu smiles at her husband.

"Well, you two don't have to wait," Ritsuka said to his wife.

Mashu had this questionable look on her face. -ZZZ- What does that mean? -ZZZ-

"It means, soon I'll call you over here Mashu." Ritsuka smiles softly at her. "I decided to ask for your help as my assistant once more." He asked the Demi-Servant,

-ZZZ- What brought this up, Ritsuka? -ZZZ- Mashu asked her husband. She saw him blushing, scratching his left cheek,

"Well, I kind of miss your company. Plus I'm sure you're having cabin fever right about now." Ritsuka smiles at her, attempting to joke.

Mashu giggles and Ritsuka heard their son giggles too. -ZZZ- Well it's true, it's getting a bit tiring here. But wouldn't it affect the mission though? -ZZZ- Mashu asked.

"Being here with me will not affect the mission Mashu," Ritsuka stated. "I would really like you to be on my side again, and Romani too."

Romani petted Mashu's cheek, whining that he wants to go. -ZZZ- It seems Romani wants to come. But is there enough Mana left for a Rayshift for us? -ZZZ- Mashu asked her husband.

Ritsuka took a look at the map of the area, the Mana pool; once big enough for summoning is now a drop of water due to Merlin, Flat, Ibuki, and Watanabe's summoning. "It's almost drained, I guess it's my fault."

-ZZZ- That's alright Ritsuka,-ZZZ- Mashu comforts him. -ZZZ- I'm sure we can think of something. -ZZZ-

"I'll have Voyager check out Hogwarts for any Mana pools," Ritsuka informs her of his plans. "Besides, I wanted to map out Hogwarts; I want to see if there's anything unusual there."

-ZZZ- Saber of Sheol's information, correct? -ZZZ- Mashu guessed.

Ritsuka nodded. "That's right, I also want the Storm Border nearby if anything happens."

Mashu nodded, -ZZZ- I'll go whatever you decide Ritsuka, I trust your decisions. -ZZZ-

"Thank you Mashu-"

"Master, it's time for dinner." Lanling knocked on his door.

Ritsuka sighs, looking at the screen. "I-"

-ZZZ- Say no more, we understand. Right Romani? -ZZZ- Mashu lift her son to the screen, he saw their son nodding with a smile.

"I love you both, I'll call you when I get a chance." Ritsuka stood from his chair.

-ZZZ- Right, say goodbye to Daddy. -ZZZ- Mashu said in their son's ears.

Romani giggles, looking at his father. -ZZZ- Bye-bye! -ZZZ- He smiles brightly before Ritsuka turns off the video and heads to the dining room.
