...A Trip? …
I spent the entire first month of work being escorted to and from work by my parents or Blaise. Landon looked like this is normal, But Juliet gave me sad pitying looks.
I was working out the final kinks of a work's location. I stood as I figured it out. I turned all the clues and hints over to Landon. He rifled through them. Juliet sat on his desk watching. His eye turned from green to silver as he scanned the pages. He shrieked.
"We're going to Greece right now! Go pack. Meet me at the airport entrance in two hours.", he shouted as he packed his things and disappeared.
Juliet and I followed in his wake. No one was home. I packed quickly. I jumped down the stairs. "Where do you think you're going young lady?!", grandma Black shrieked. "Greece. I'll be back when I get back. Don't wait up!", I yelled as I slammed the front door shut.
I made it to the airport with 45 minutes to spare. Landon waved me over and we waited for Juliet who appeared 20 minutes later. We boarded the plane.
…Greece…
We landed and went to a hotel. We rested a bit and begun our search. We barely rested and searched until our brains went fuzzy. After our 8th day of searching we rested properly.
I heard the howlers the others had received. I scoffed lightly. I'd sent mine back unopened. Agni appeared in my room. He delivered a letter and flew over to my desk.
I opened and scanned the note Blaise's anger seeping through the letter and into my mind. I rolled my eyes. I scribbled a response. I gave Agni a treat and the note. He disappeared.
I collapsed into my bed and fell asleep. The next day we dove into our search with more vigor. We used our talents to the max.
I stretched as we took a break. We were on a rented ship. Juliet and I dove into the water. We swam deeper and deeper. We'd found many works piecing together the artist's story.
We surfaced. Landon was ready to dive. We dove again and led him to the cave. His eyes glowed and he led the way. There was a cavern. We found many works and made note.
We were on our way back to the surface when we ran into sharks. We waited a bit, but the sharks took no notice of us and we kept going.
We finished our mission. The information we'd collected was sent back to the London office. We rested and headed home.
…Home…
Landon was attacked with hugs and yells as his parents caught sight of him. He waved as he was dragged off. Juliet and I went to the Leaky Cauldron for a bit of lunch before heading home.
I had placed one foot over the doorway when I heard mum's, grandma Rowell's, and grandma Black's shrieks I shut the door behind me quickly. They yelled for a good 7 hours. I yawned.
"I'm tired. I've only slept 10 hours in the past 3 weeks. Do you mind if I get some rest, so your rants are more effective?", I asked tiredly.
I trudged upstairs. As I closed my room door, I heard a tsking from behind me. Blaise was on my desk. I groaned and slid against my door to the floor.
He slid my travel bags into my closet and grabbed my hand. He led me out of my room. The others waved as he led me outside. I could tell I was in trouble. We went to his flat. He closed the door.
I sat nonchalantly onto the couch. He sat in the chair across from me. I told him about the trip, and he listened. When I finished, I was laying on the couch my yawns getting closer together.
He looked at me. "Sharks. Sharks!", he gasped. I opened my arms. He laid next to me on the couch. "I've missed you Blaise.", I whispered into his chest. I fell asleep.
I awoke still in Blaise's arms. I smiled. Blaise tightened his hold on me slightly as he woke. I kissed his neck. "Morning love.", he mumbled. I buried my face in his neck. "Morning. Are you still mad at me?", I asked not wanting to look at him.
He ran his hands down my frame. "No. I'm not mad. I just wish you would have given a bit more notice. Love look at me."
I lifted my face from his neck. He wasn't mad. "I understand you left for work purposes. I would've preferred you told me.", he whispered.
I nodded. "I'm sorry.", I murmured. He kissed me lightly and I smiled. We sat there for a bit. "I have to take you back home now. Your family is waiting.", he whispered.
I shook my head. "Oh, no. I don't want to. I think I'll stay here a bit longer.", I looked at him pleadingly. He smirked and got up.
I groaned. I stood up begrudgingly. Blaise was already at the door. I whined and muttered all the way to the door. Blaise looked highly entertained at my little tantrum.
I stood by him not wanting to leave. He turned me to him and kissed me deeply and passionately. He led me to the roof and we disapparated with me in a daze from the kiss.
I sat on a chair in the living room as my parents, grandma Rowell, and grandma Black ranted. Blaise watched from a corner.
Grandma Rowell sat down shaking her head. Grandma Black was still mumbling and raving lightly. Mum was pacing by the door.
"These people you work with just get up and go when they find out where these works are?", dad asked trying to contain another hour of one-sided arguing.
"Yes. It's very common. We had to go. It was urgent.", I stated calmly. I contained my feelings of being wronged. Dad took a deep breath staring at the ceiling.
Mum stopped her pacing. Everyone's anger dissipated. Mum asked about the trip and I told them everything.
Dad stood again. "Sharks! You were swimming near sharks!", he gasped. I turned to Blaise and pointed at the two of them. "Same reaction!"
Mum went to the kitchen and came back with tea and sandwiches. Dad and Blaise were talking about the shark part of the story throwing glances my way. I hummed as I ate.
"So, this artist mystery is solved, and you won't be taking off any time soon?", grandma Rowell asked with her hands clutched to her necklace.
"Well… we already have another assignment.", I started. Mum rounded on me. "We'll be working with other teams.", I explained quickly before she could open her mouth.
She sat down in relief. "Other teams?!", grandma Black screeched. I nodded, then took a deep breath. "The new assignment has a finding works which are believed to be hidden inside active volcanoes.", I answered looking at the floor.
Everyone went still. The silence was broken by Izzy coming in the room and clearing her throat. "Yes, you heard her right.", she backed me as she entered the room. mum gave her a look.
"How do you know?", dad rounded on her. "This assignment of hers coincides with mine. I'll be going with her at the end of the month.", she responded calmly.
I tapped my fingers lightly on my teacup. I felt Blaise giving me a once over. I turned to see him giving me a look that said I had to explain later. I nodded in understanding. He went back to watching the others.
Izzy explained everything quickly not letting our parents open their mouths. They sagged back into the couch giving up. Grandma Black and grandma Black conversed quietly.
I fidgeted in my seat. Izzy waved at Blaise who waved back. "Active volcanoes?!", dad croaked in a raspy voice. We nodded. "It will be perfectly safe.", I muttered. Mum looked at me in disbelief.
I stood from my chair. I went to the couch and gave them hugs. They gave sighs. I hugged grandma Rowell. Blaise, Izzy, and I left the room.
"Well, I'm off to tell Charlie!", Izzy called as she went out the front door. I led Blaise to my room. He sat on my bed as I closed my door. I turned to him. I hurried over to my bed and sat.
I laid my head on his shoulder. "Another trip? At the end of the month? At least I got a little warning.", he muttered. I turned his face to mine. "I was going to tell you. Honestly, I was.", I looked straight at him.
He stared at me. I kissed him lightly. "Sharks and volcanoes! Sharks and volcanoes Charlotte! Really!", he was rambling, and his voice rose.
I walked around my room cleaning as he ranted. His anger left him. I heard a knock on the door.
Ava and Lucas entered and looked around. Blaise was lying on my bed as he ranted, and I cleaned up my room ignoring him. "We heard. You'll be leaving right after we go back to Hogwarts?", Ava asked leaning on the door frame.
"Yep. Right after we drop you off, I'll be leaving.", I answered as I poured some sand out of my shoes. Blaise was still muttering. Ava and Lucas stayed and chatted a bit before mum ushered them out to do homework.
I showered and changed into some jeans, boots, and a light turtleneck. I put on the jewelry that Blaise, his mum, and Lucia gave me hoping to improve his mood. When I got back to my room Blaise was still muttering. I closed my door. "Are you going to act like this until I leave?", I asked quiet done with his little snit fit.
He glared at the ceiling. I grabbed my wallet and a new bag. I motioned for him to follow. He followed me out the front door. We went to a park and walked around.
He calmed down significantly. We went to a small diner for lunch. Then I took him to a movie. We talked quietly about the movie when it was over.
He took me back to his flat. I laid down on the couch. I squirmed until I was comfortable. Blaise joined me. I wrapped my arms around his middle.
He played with the braid my hair was in. I nuzzled his neck. "Are you done with your tantrum?", I asked in a whisper. He nodded. "Good!", I murmured as I pulled him into a kiss.
The kiss turned from gentle to passionate. Blaise groaned as I worked my hands under his shirt. He broke the kiss removing his jacket and shirt and I did the same.
I kissed his neck lightly. He stood up leading me with him. He led me to his room as we kicked off the rest of our clothes. He placed me on his bed kissing a trail over my body. I moaned as his hands held my hips and he kissed my clit.
He took his time teasing me and refusing me orgasm. I groaned in frustration.
He chuckled and ran his thumb across my clit. I shuddered. He rolled on a condom. He slid inside me quickly and I threw my head back in pleasure.
He kissed my neck as he slid in and out of me slowly. I tried to make him pick up the pace, but he held me still. I ran my hands across his back as I arched my back and pressed myself against him.
He quickened his pace and I purred appreciatively. He nipped my neck lightly and I gave a tiny, shocked yelp. He smirked and ran his hand down my leg. I put it around his waist pushing him further.
I placed my other leg around his waist. I purred against his mouth as he slammed into me. He captured my mouth in a heated kiss.
He flipped us over. I slid down his cock. I tilted my head back. Blaise played with my breasts while I was distracted sliding up and down his cock.
He began holding my hips and forcing me down faster. He finally let me orgasm and stars filled my vision. I shook as the waves of orgasm rolled over me. Blaise kept moving me prolonging the orgasm.
He sat up kissing me passionately. As he broke the kiss, I bit his lip lightly. I panted as my orgasm ended. His lust filled eyes watched me carefully. I shuddered under his gaze.
He trailed a hand along my back. I placed my head into his neck. He flipped us back over. My body shook in pleasure as he slammed inside of me no longer holding back. I scratched his back lightly and he picked my hips up and hit my g spot.
I moaned and he continued hitting it. My orgasms hit me so fast that I could barely react. I whimpered beneath him. He leaned down to kiss me, and I lifted my hips in time with his thrusts. I moaned into the kiss as we climaxed together.
He slid out of me and I pulled him to me. He laid his head on my chest. We fell asleep instantly.
When I woke up, I found Blaise watching me. "Yes?", I murmured. "You woke me up. Kept saying how much you love me.", he whispered. I blushed. He smirked.
I tried to look away, but I couldn't make myself tear my eyes away from his. "It's not like you don't know. You've known for a long time. You knew before I did. I love you Blaise Zabini.", I let the words fly from my mouth like I was setting them free.
He moved up closer to my face. "I know you love me. You made me wait a long-time little missy. Even when my feelings for you were blatantly clear to others who saw us. I love you Charlotte Black."
I felt myself smiling. I kissed him gently. He kissed me back. He broke the kiss. "We need to get you home.", he sighed like he didn't want to return me, and I didn't really want to go.
We took a shower and dressed. I led him inside. no one was in the living room. We went up to my room. I put my things away. Blaise was reading a new file on my desk. I tsked at him.
He kept rifling through the file. I poked him. He looked at me. he begrudgingly handed me the file. "I don't poke through your potions.", I reminded him.
He raised an eyebrow and I kissed him quickly not wanting him to start an argument. He smiled and I rifled through the file. He pulled me to him and watched me.
I finished my scanning. Blaise was playing with my hair. "You cut it again.", he murmured. I winked. "I'll never cut it higher than waist length."
He smiled. I traced his smile with a finger. We spent the rest of the day chatting in my room.
The next day I reported to work. Aithne and Blue played around my desk. Wizards from the other teams stopped by every now and then.
Izzy stopped by with her team leader. She smiled and waved. I waved back. Juliet watched us smiling. She mouthed the word twins at me, and I nodded.
She motioned for Izzy to come over. They sat on my desk. "Nice ring.", Juliet sighed. I tilted my head in confusion.
She pointed at my hand. Izzy giggled, "Oh, he's done it again. he's made a decision without telling her." Juliet gave a sad sigh which I didn't believe due to her broad smile.
In addition to Lucia's ring there was an engagement ring on my finger. I realized a spell had been on it disguising it from me. I took a deep breath. "Ooh, he's in trouble!", Juliet clapped gleefully.
I focused on my work to the best of my ability. Izzy and her leader stayed for lunch. She kept throwing me happy smirks. I rifled through my papers. I scrawled a quick note telling Blaise we needed to talk after work.
Aithne took it and disappeared. I scrawled more notes. I gave them to Blue who disappeared using the floo network. Aithne returned looking very harassed.
Blaise had written a response already. I took the note. I smirked. He agreed to meet although I could sense how reluctant he was. I was able to focus a bit better after reading his response.
"Aren't you heading home with me?", Izzy asked as we exited the building. "No. I need to question Blaise. Tell mum and dad I'll be home late.", I threw the words casually over my shoulder as I walked in the opposite direction.
I apparated onto Blaise's building. He was there looking extremely nervous. He held out his hand. I took it and allowed him to lead me down to his flat.
He closed the door and I rounded on him glaring. He flattened against the door. "You have some explaining to do young man.", I growled through gritted teeth.
He placed his hands on my shoulders. He lightly moved me backwards. "Now. Don't get upset. I mean I didn't think the spell would wear off that quickly. Whoa…", he ducked as I swung my hand to hit his head.
He stepped back hurriedly. "Now, come on. Seriously love, I was going to tell you." He fell over the back of the couch. He held his hands up.
I stopped in my tracks. "Do you have any idea how much joking and ribbing I had to endure. Izzy and Juliet kept smirking at me all day!", I screeched.
He looked down and muttered something. "What. I can't hear you.", I growled. "I got joked at while I was working after that note you sent with Aithne.", he said a bit louder. I lunged at him and he ran out of reach.
I chased him round the room. We heard knocking at the door. Blaise went over to the door. I heard Charlie's worried voice. I snuck up behind them.
Charlie spotted me and Blaise turned around. he ran out the door leaving Charlie speechless. I rushed after him. I heard Charlie calling after us.
I chased Blaise down the stairs. He ran past Izzy who was coming out of Charlie's place looking worried and amused. I jumped down the stairs. I saw him take off into Draco's flat. I followed.
I rearranged my features from a pissed off expression to a sweet and loving one. Charlie, Izzy, Fred, George, Ron, and Harry were watching in amusement.
I cleared my throat and knocked on the door. Draco opened the door slightly. I gave him a sweet smile. "Have you seen Blaise dear cousin of mine? I seem to have misplaced him.", I asked in a whine. Draco seemed extremely flustered and put out.
He kept looking from me to somewhere in his flat. "Oh, my poor cousin. If Blaise is hiding inside you must know that I'm not going to hurt him. No. I just need to find him.", I looked up at him with the puppy dog eyes I learned from dad.
Draco began grumbling. The others had moved closer to watch. Draco opened the door and slid out of my way. "Blaise come out she just wants to talk.", he called as he joined the others with a knowing smirk.
Blaise to one look at the scene and climbed out a window. I ran after him climbing through the window with ease thanks to the training mum put me through when I was younger.
He was running quite a way ahead. I threw my traveling cloak inside Draco's flat where the others were watching. I took off at full speed.
Blaise wove in and out of crowds. I took a side alley. Blaise stopped in a park looking around for me. It was beginning to get dark.
I realized I was acting like my Patronus and laughed quietly. Blaise sat on a park bench. The park was empty. There weren't many lights either.
I snuck up and tackled him to the ground. Blaise yelped in surprise. I sat on his chest and had his arms pinned beneath my feet. I lowered my face to his.
"Oh, love. Running was the wrong move. Now the others know. Now while I have you here why don't you tell me why you forgot to tell me.", I ordered staring straight into his eyes and ran a finger across his features.
He gulped. "I was going to tell you but then you got distracted by the file and I got distracted by the way you looked when you worked. I didn't mean to. I actually meant to let you in on it when you woke up, but the way you looked at me…", he trailed off.
I could no longer hold onto my anger. I sighed and got up. Blaise watched me very unsure. I sat on the bench. He sat at my feet on his knees.
"I'm sorry! I should have told you. I'm so very sorry!", he looked into my eyes with the purest form of honesty. I stared at him a moment before throwing my arms around him. He picked me up.
I squealed in glee. Blaise looked at me, "Is that a yes?" I kissed him in response. He put me down. I looked up at him. "I forgive you but do try to remember and not get distracted next time there's something this important.", I reprimanded him lightly.
He nodded and I kissed him. He smiled happily. "I'm sorry for causing a scene and chasing you.", I mumbled. "It's okay. It's like you said. I shouldn't have run.", he whispered.
"I love you.", I whispered against his lips. He kissed me deeply. "You love me or the ring?", he asked with a playful smirk. I thought for a moment like it was a hard decision. Blaise's face fell. "I love you. I love you more than I love going to foodie places. I love you more than I love art. I love you more than I love music. I love you more than I love sleep. I love you Blaise Zabini. You are the love of my life.", I stated kissing him between reasons.
He grinned kissing me deeply. "You didn't even have to wait that long for me to admit it this time.", I gazed into his eyes. He rolled his eyes. He took me by my hand leading me back to his place. I skipped beside him happily.
The others were still in Draco's flat. We walked up the stairs. "Oi! How did the fight go?", George called. Blaise went blank. I laughed quietly. I turned to the others. "I'm so very sorry but Blaise is grounded for the next two weeks!", I giggled lightly looking at their shocked faces.
"I have to go.", Blaise muttered and walked up the steps. I retrieved mine and Blaise's traveling cloaks that were in Draco's hands. "Why thank you for keeping these.", I told Draco. Izzy cleared her throat.
"Why are you so happy then? Why is Blaise grounded?", she asked gathering herself. "Ah! He's grounded because he forgot to mention that he slipped the ring on my finger. I'm happy because I was able to sneak up on him and tackle him.", I showed the others the ring.
They were shocked. I left and went up the stairs. I could hear them whispering as I ascended the stairs. Blaise was in the doorway of his flat.
I entered the room, and he closed the door. I felt his arms wrap around me hugging me from behind. I giggled. We walked to the couch.
We fell onto the couch. I spun around so I was facing him. He kissed me gently. "So, I'm grounded now?", he asked. "Why yes! You have to be punished.", I smiled slyly.
He frowned. He kissed me senseless. I laid there trying to collect my thoughts. "Am I still grounded?", he asked. I had a strong feeling of déjà vu.
I spun us around, so I was lying on top of Blaise. He looked at me quite stunned and shocked. "Oh no you don't. You are not pulling that trick again.", I panted. "Damn!", he muttered. I plastered a look of mock sadness on my face.
His face went blank. "That's not fair Charlotte. It's not fair at all.", he grumbled. I put my head on his chest. He sat up sliding me onto his lap.
I looked at him. "I wonder what our younger selves would say if they could see us now.", he wondered gazing at me with such an adoring look like I was the only person in the world.
I melted under his gaze. I felt the urge to never leave his side. "Why two weeks?", he asked. "I have another assignment. This way I can spend time with you until I leave.", I whispered.
Blaise stiffened. He seemed to have forgotten. He was slowly sinking into a fit. I kissed him quickly. He was so stunned that he looked at me like I'd done something that was new.
"I'll try to return as soon as I can.", I told him. He didn't seem convinced. I whined and he held a finger up. "Don't rush your work because of me. I just need to get used to it.", he said more to himself than me.
I smiled at him. I rewarded his revelation with a very passionate kiss. This time he looked dazed and I reveled in my work. I played with Blaise's shoulders moving them enough to snap him out of his daze.
He flipped us around. I laid beneath him wondering what he was thinking. He kissed me gently. I put my hands around the back of his neck pulling him further into the kiss.
He smiled at my reaction. I purred. He broke the kiss and kissed my forehead. "Is this going to be my punishment every night?", he murmured against my neck.
I groaned. I shivered as he hummed lightly against my neck. "Maybe.", I moaned as kissed a sensitive spot on my neck. I pulled his face up to mine.
I kissed him deeply. He groaned as I traveled my hands down his torso. He pinned my hands above my body. I squirmed. Blaise was kissing my exposed stomach. He looked at me. I winked at him.
He chuckled. He lifted me up over his shoulder. I hit his back lightly. he grabbed my things and set me down at the door. "I think I should get you home.", he whispered as he flattened me against the door.
I whined and he kissed me lightly. He took me home. He made sure I was at the door before he left. I entered the house and closed the door.
I heard Izzy and mum talking in the kitchen. I entered the kitchen. Mum, dad, and Izzy were there. I waved as they noticed me.
Mum squealed excitedly. She ran over. She looked at the engagement ring. "How? When?", she asked hurriedly leading me over to the others.
"In my sleep. I just noticed today.", I answered. Dad looked pale. I nodded from Izzy to dad and she hugged him then made him a cup of really strong tea.
Mum looked at him like he was comical. Mum handed me a plate of food. I ate while Izzy tried to convince dad to drink the tea.
"Dad. Are you ok?", I asked. He looked at me, but he wasn't looking at me. Mum hit him over the back of his head. He looked at her in shock.
"For goodness sake. You've known this was coming since you saw them together after the third task in the Triwizard Tournament. Stop moping. At least they waited longer than we did.", she ranted.
Grandma Black had long since sidled into the kitchen portrait. "Finally!", she shrieked, "I think he's a lovely young man. As I have told you before Charlotte that boy is finer than wine."
Dad glared at her. "Would it make you feel better if I told you that Char has grounded him for two weeks?", Izzy asked slyly. All three looked at Izzy. "Grounded?", dad repeated.
"Yes grounded.", Izzy smiled, "She's grounded him because he forgot to tell her what he did. Oh, mum you should have seen her chasing him."
Dad brightened slightly. "I chased him because he refused to answer my questions. He was so shocked when I tackled him.", I shook my head.
"You tackled him!", grandma Black shrieked horrified. "He let his guard down. I don't know why you look horrified. He put the ring under a spell, so it was invisible, and it wore off while I was at work.", I ranted.
"He put an invisibility spell on the ring?", dad asked. I nodded. "He wanted to take the spell off when he had properly proposed. However, that did not happen.", I explained. Dad nodded.
"He's a fine lad. He knows a lot about motorcycles. He loves you. I know that. He knows your uncles and I would kill him if he hurt you.", dad sighed in defeat.
"Did you threaten Blaise?!", I growled. Dad fidgeted in his seat. Everyone stared at him. "Oh, not that much. He's fine, isn't he!", he looked at the floor.
I glared at him. Mum ranted at him. "Charlotte trusted you with Blaise.", mum scoffed. Dad cleared his throat. Izzy was looking through the pantry and grandma Black glared at him.
I felt tears falling down my face. Dad looked up. "Charlotte dear!", he choked out. I ran from the room.
I slammed my room door. I fell onto my bed my tears still falling down my face even faster.
I woke the next morning and got ready for work. I headed out of the house as I quietly as I could. Blaise was waiting for me outside.
He held out his hand and I took it. We headed down the street. "Don't be mad at your dad for what he and your uncles did.", Blaise told me as we rounded a corner.
I stopped walking. "He threatened you. I trusted you with him. And you. You never told me.", I muttered. He sighed. I looked at him waiting for answers. "I knew he might threaten me. I figured if he did any less as a dad, I might not believe how much he cares for you.", he looked at me begging me to understand.
I allowed him to keep leading me down the streets. "Come on. He's a father. I don't hold it against him.", he pled. I shook my head. He stopped. "Come on.", he pulled me closer and we disapparated.
We were on the cliff. I sat down. "I don't want to forgive him. Besides grandma Black, Izzy, and mum think my anger is justified. They aren't speaking to him either.", I protested.
Blaise sat next to me. I was throwing mini pebbles off the cliff. Blaise rubbed my shoulders. I began to relax. "Love. If you can't forgive your dad on your own terms what about if you do it for me?", he asked hesitantly.
I looked at him incredulously. "No!", I growled. Blaise held his hands up. I softened. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to snap at you.", I cried.
Blaise pulled me into a hug. "Love please.", he begged. I looked at him scanning his eyes with mine. I sighed in frustration. Blaise looked at me hopefully. "My dad asked you for help, didn't he?", I asked. Blaise nodded, "Charlie is already talking to Izzy."
I looked sky ward, "Fine. I'll forgive just this once." Blaise smiled. He got up and I followed. "He was so distraught when he turned up last night. Love, he really is sorry.", Blaise mumbled. I was shocked. My dad had gone to find them for help. I thought a simple call, but I never once thought he'd show up.
Blaise dropped me off at work. I went inside. Juliet was smirking. "Is that Mr. Invisible Ring?", she asked. I nodded and filled her in. She was just as shocked as I was. "I'd never forgive my dad if he threatened my boyfriend.", she gaped.
I shrugged sitting at my desk. "What can you do though? At least dad took the news of the engagement news well.", I sighed as I rifled through my paperwork.
She sat on the edge of her desk. "You tackled him?", she giggled. I laughed lightly, "Yep. He should've remembered I've had self-defense classes and know how to pin my enemies and targets."
She chuckled. Landon walked in looking dreadful. "Mum and dad?", she asked, and he nodded. He told them what his next assignment was. We worked for about 2 hours.
Landon stood and stretched. "Well then. I'm off to send the final documents to the other teams. When you two are finished close up the office. We'll meet at the airport at the designated time at the end of the month.", he reminded us as he gathered his things.
We finished our work quickly. I went shopping with Juliet. She needed help getting travel supplies. We went to the apothecary. She gathered everything she needed. A shop attendant was staring at me. I waved at him and continued following Juliet.
When he thought I wasn't looking he nudged another worker who had come from the back. They kept watching me. Juliet purchased her items. The attendants saw me looking at them and disappeared in the back.
We left the shop. We went to the Weasley's shop next. I bought some things to send to Blaise's cousins, Ava and Lucas for Hogwarts, dad and mum to use on my aunts and uncles, and some for Landon at Juliet's request.
Fred and George kept making jokes about how I had chased Blaise much Juliet's amusement. "How's your dad?", Fred asked. I shrugged. "He seemed a mite drunk last night.", he continued.
"I plan on forgiving him, so he'll be fine.", I smiled. He put his hands up in mock surrender. I waved to them as Juliet and I left the shop.
We went our separate ways after we stepped outside the Leaky Cauldron. I stepped inside the house. Mum came out of the study. I sent my things upstairs to my room. She beckoned me into the study.
I walked in. Dad was sitting in a chair. Mum pushed me into a chair then sat on the desk. Mum cleared her throat at me.
I could feel her staring. I turned to dad. "I apologize for running form the room.", I told him. That was all I had done after all. Mum nudged me with her foot. "I forgive you for threatening Blaise.", I continued.
Dad looked up. I gave him a hug. "I'm truly sorry.", he croaked. Mum rolled her eyes at us. "You two have always been such a handful.", she muttered.
Dad stood up. "You yelled at me more than she did Fae.", he was making puppy dog eyes. Mum smiled shaking her head and rising to hug him.
I handed my purchases out to everyone. I gave the other gifts to Blue. I went to the kitchen to get some lunch. Agni appeared. I took the note. I went to the fridge while reading the note. I chuckled as I grabbed a slice of cake.
I scribbled a response. I gave Agni a big treat and the note. Agni took the giant treat with him.
I went to Blaise's flat. I was standing outside the door to his flat when he showed up. He opened the door and waved me inside. I walked in and he closed the door behind us. He pushed me over to the couch.
I frowned at his behavior. He sat in front of me. "One of my fellow workers told me an interesting story today.", he started, "Said he saw the engagement ring my mum brought to me a while back on the finger of a young woman walking around the store with her friend. Do you know the level of questioning I received after that?"
I snapped my finger as realization dawned on me. "That bloke who kept staring at me when we were getting travel supplies. The one who kept looking at me when he thought I wouldn't notice and then got another worker.", I rambled.
Blaise looked at me with rapt interest. "Aww. My poor little Blaise. Were you on the end of some jokes just like I was?", I teased him.
He raised an eyebrow and I fell silent. He grabbed my hands. "So, can we skip a day of punishment since I was involved in jokes today?", he asked. I nodded. "I forgave dad today.", I murmured. Blaise smiled. "You didn't mention he was drunk when he showed up here.", I fixed him with a questioning stare. "Fred and George say something?", he asked, and I nodded.
We chatted about my day. "I have the rest of the month off. So, I can think of how to punish you!", I clapped my hands excitedly.
Blaise frowned. I tilted my head. He looked like that was the worst thing he'd heard all day. I stood up. "Come on. I'm hungry. Let's cook.", I pulled him to his feet.
I made Blaise cook much to his horror. I took pictures as he worked. I sat on the counter. He handed me a plate. I took a bite as he watched. "It's delicious.", I groaned. He grinned.
I twirled around lightly after we were done eating. Blaise had set some scrubbers to wash the dishes. He was pouring himself a glass of firewhiskey. I held out my hand.
He shook his head no. A very definite no. I grumbled. When he turned around, I grabbed the bottle. "Put it back. Put that bottle back right now.", he said. I mocked him and he turn around in the middle of the mocking.
I went red. Blaise looked at me slyly. I slowly put the bottle back and rushed to the couch sitting down and behaving. I wondered to myself who was really being punished. He sat down beside me.
I scooched closer. "Nope.", he said. I groaned, "I won't get drunk again." He shook his head. I laid back on the couch. I played with Agni.
Agni flew off to sleep. Blaise was watching a movie on the tv. He'd finished his drink. He'd pulled my legs onto his lap. I hummed along to the music playing from the tv as I closed my eyes.
Blaise laid down beside me. His fingers traced lightly across my hips. I began a new song. Blaise's face was in my neck. A shiver ran through me as he began kissing my neck.
He nipped at my neck. I purred lightly. Blaise turned my head to his and kissed me. I hummed happily. Blaise worked his hands up my torso. I placed my leg on his waist.
He sat up bringing me up with him. He wrapped my legs completely around his waist and stood carrying me to his bedroom. I giggled as he placed me on the bed.
