Hey yall, I'm back with a new chapter!

DCDGojira, thanks, I rewatched the trailer, and it's very brief I guess. As for Shin Ultraman, I guess it looks fine. The Japanese CGI still needs a lot of work though, for the monsters at least. Ultraman himself looks fine.

kazutoxx123, thank you.

ChaosDeathLord, yep, the events of season 1 will be ending. And we're finally going into the next parts of the story! And yeah, I figured it'd be good to explain why Genjuro has those superhuman abilities. I'll refrain from any spoilers, as always. And as for Tsubasa not reacting as violently as she should, it'll be explained under in the chapter. And the Climax Song scene, YESSS, I was like, wait this looks very familiar, when I saw that scene, I couldn't not do it hahahahaha.

Karlos1234ify, thank you.

IdeaPerson1097, yeah, Dan here is perfectly human, and Genjuro too, so I guess it was a way to cover that plot hole. We'll get to why Bemular is the way he is here in this story eventually hehehe.

So yeah, here's the 12th chapter. Enjoy.

XXX

Hibiki let out a loud roar, and with the blink of an eye, dashed towards Finé. The woman smirked, "Now, show me, the power of rage incarnate."

Hibiki, no, the beast of Gungnir roared in response, and leapt into the air, swinging her claws at the woman. In response, Finé conjured up a barrier.

Asgard.

The beast clashed into the shield, and for a brief moment, the shield held strong against the swipe.

Until it started to crack, much to Finé's surprise, and she jumped back just in time to dodge a fatal strike. The woman stared at the beast incarnate, and she smirked, "Interesting, so this is what happens if someone goes berserk after fusing with a relic. It's like she's become Gungnir itself."

Finé let out a breath as the pitch black figure charged her again, and this time, the woman wasn't about to let the attack hit her. A pair of whips lashed out, and the beast found herself flung to the ground.

However, that didn't seem to deter her, as what used to be Hibiki simply got up, and glared at the woman. A burst of energy came from Hibiki's chest, and before Finé knew it, the beast was before her again.

Finé growled as she backed away, but she was too late, and the beast swung her claws. In a swift swipe, Hibiki sliced Finé straight in half, much to Tsubasa's horror.

The bluenette stared at Finé's split body, and Hibiki's pitch black figure, "T-Tachibana..."

The normally composed guardian was in a mess. She had honestly no idea what to do. Finé's reveal of Shinjiro's presence in the tower as a hostage had thrown her in a loop, and normally she'd have lashed out at the woman without a thought.

But seeing Chris' sacrifice, Hibiki going berserk, Lydian's destruction, and everything else that had happened had caused her to simply freeze. Seeing the person that held the last remaining connection to Kanade attacking Finé with such ferocity didn't help matters.

The bluenette shakily called out, "T-Tachibana... that's... that's enough."

Her words got the beast's attention, and the moment she turned her red eyes on the idol, Tsubasa froze, because never in the time she'd known the girl, never had Hibiki ever shown such rage, such hatred in her eyes. In fact, calling it darkness wasn't that far fetched.

But that wasn't all, the moment Hibiki turned her eyes on Tsubasa, the beast growled. She growled once more, and charged, much to Tsubasa's shock.

The bluenette took a step back, but Hibiki didn't stop, and only from years of experience, did Tsubasa manage to parry Hibiki's swipe with the butt of her sword, pushing the beast away.

Tsubasa stared at her friend, "Tachibana..."

Finé's eyes widened with glee as her body mended itself, and she watched with crazed interest as the beast attacked her friend relentlessly, with Tsubasa doing her best not to hurt the girl as they fought.

Shinjiro woke up with gasp, and he opened his eyes to see the dark sky, tinged with purple, the moon very much visible.

"So, you're awake."

The teen snapped his head over, to see Bemular hovering in the air some distance away from him. He quickly noticed Chris' bloodied form by his side, and widened his eyes in shock.

"Calm yourself, the girl is fine."

Shinjiro turned to look at Bemular, and he frowned, "Why should I trust you?"

Bemular let out a sigh, "It is not the first time I've saved a human. Besides, do you realize the circumstances?"

The teen froze, and his mind raced back to trace what had happened. He had came back to help Lydian Academy, and they, as in he and Moroboshi, had managed to take out all of the Noises.

Then he had went down to the base and had faced Ryoko, no, Finé, and everything after that was a blur. He remembered Finé saying something about his body being battery.

Bemular nodded in recognition, upon seeing the teen's face, "At least you have some idea."

Shinjiro stared at the silver being, "Why are you here?"

Bemular simply stared back, "You can at least be assured that I am against Finé's plans, as of now."

The teen frowned, "What does that mean?"

Bemular took notice of Shinjiro's tense stance, and sighed, "I am not your enemy, for now. I will not do anything to hinder your efforts in stopping Finé."

The teen stood up, noticing his armor was mostly damaged, with his helmet all but gone, and he clearly remembered that it was rendered useless by Finé, yet he could still move, for some reason.

Shinjiro looked around, before spotting the tower that stood tall in a distance away from them, "Is that...?"

Bemular followed his gaze, and nodded, "The Kadingir. You were used as a battery before, when Finé used it to shoot at the moon, and the girl used her Climax Song to counter it. I took the chance, and now the tower is at half its capacity."

Shinjiro frowned at him, "You saved us?"

The silver being regarded the teen, "Don't misunderstand my actions, I did not do any of that to help you."

The teen's frown didn't drop, and he moved to carry Chris, only for Bemular to stand between him and the girl. Shinjiro stared sternly at him, "What are you doing?"

Bemular stared back with equal intensity, "The question is what are you doing, Hayata Shinjiro?"

The teen frowned, "What?"

Bemular scoffed, before he considered his words, and spoke, "I will look after her, you have more important things to do, do you not?"

As if on cue, a loud roar sounded through the area, and Shinjiro's eyes widened, "What... What was that?"

Bemular stared at the tower, distaste in his eyes, "It seems that Tachibana Hibiki has gone berserk."

Shinjiro blinked, "What?"

The silver being stared at him, "The fragments of the Gungnir in the girl's chest, have caused her to lose control. And I can tell you that she's rampaging all over the place."

The teen frowned, before he turned and started to run towards the tower.

Bemular spoke up, "Where do you think you're going?"

Shinjiro stopped, and looked at him, "I'm going to help them."

The silver being stared at him, "And with your armor in that state, what do you think you can do?"

Shinjiro paused, before staring at him with a determined expression, "I don't know, but I have to at least try. You said you'd look after Chris for me, right?"

Bemular stared at him, and nodded, "Yes, I won't let any harm befall on the girl."

Shinjiro nodded, "Then I'm counting on you, I'll go help Hibiki and Tsubasa."

The silver being let out a breath, "Before you go, a piece of advice, Ultraman."

The teen turned and stared at him, "What?"

Bemular pointed at Shinjiro's chest, "You are a perfect hybrid of a human and an Ultraman. And you have access to Spacium energy. Remember this, Spacium energy is light."

Shinjiro paused, "Spacium energy... Is light?"

Bemular nodded, "Yes, now get going. Do not make me regret this."

The teen nodded, and he flew towards the tower.

Tsubasa was on her last knee. Turns out Hibiki had more power in her than any of them knew. It had taken everything in Tsubasa to keep the berserker at bay, and even then, the beast just came back for more.

The bluenette's eyes darted around. Finé was perfectly content in watching them fight, and the Kadingir was slowly charging up again, much to Tsubasa's frustration.

In Finé's words, it wouldn't make sense to make a weapon that big, to only fire one single shot. The Durandal and Shinjiro both served as perfect batteries for that weapon.

That infuriated Tsubasa. It was a miracle she could even think straight at this point, for she was once again reminded of how weak she actually was.

Hibiki charged once again, and Tsubasa was barely able to block the swipe from the beast, sending her skidding across the ground, before falling to her knees again. And this time, parts of her armor shattered.

The girl panted as she gripped her katana. Then, Finé's laughter reached her ears, "How is it, the feeling of actually fighting with Tachibana Hibiki?"

The woman stared at Tsubasa, "It's what you wanted before, right?"

Tsubasa stared at Finé's perfectly fine body, "You... You're not human anymore, are you?"

The woman chuckled, "No, not really. I've become one with the Nehushtan's armor. It's very interesting, if I do say so myself."

The bluenette narrowed her eyes, and opened her mouth to speak once again, only for Hibiki to charge at her. The girl frowned, and she made a decision.

Tsubasa let her sword go, and it stabbed into the ground, much to everyone's confusion.

In the shelter, everyone had been witnessing the entire thing unfold. Yumi fell to her knees upon seeing Hibiki attack Tsubasa over and over again, "It's... It's over..."

Miku snapped her head at her friend, "How can you say that?"

Yumi clenched her fists, "Look at that! Hibiki's gone crazy! And Tsubasa-san just let go of her sword! How can we expect things to get better?!"

The black haired girl fell silent, not knowing what to say.

"No, it's not over yet."

The one who spoke that sentence, was Hayata Shin.

The girls looked at him, and Yumi spoke, "What do you mean?"

Shin replied, "It's exactly as I say. It's not over."

Yumi blinked, "Eh?"

Moroboshi, who was looking at the screen, spoke up, "The Kadingir's charging rate, it's been rather slow..."

Miku's eyes widened, "Wait, do you mean-"

Shin nodded, "Here he comes... Our..."

"Ultraman."

As Tsubasa readied herself to catch Hibiki, a flash of light caught her attention. And before the girl realized it, Hibiki was blown away to the ground, and before Tsubasa, was a very familiar figure.

"S-Shinjiro-kun?"

Shinjiro glanced back, his bloodied face smiling at Tsubasa's bruised face, "Hey, sorry I'm late, Tsubasa."

The bluenette could only let out a breath in relief, a weak smile forming on her face, "Y-you're fine!"

Shinjiro nodded, and he turned to face Hibiki, "Things happened."

Finé's eyes stared at him, a frown on her face, "How did you get out? I made sure your armor wouldn't work?!"

The woman froze and snapped her head at the tower. It made sense now, why the tower wasn't ready yet. It was literally missing half its battery.

She snapped back at Shinjiro, and then she saw it. The glow on his chest.

Anyone would have mistaken it for the external Spacium core built into the suit. But Finé was the one who made the suit, and she easily knew.

Shinjiro wasn't drawing power from the suit. He was giving power to the suit.

Finé's eyes narrowed, "How did you-!"

Her eyes widened, as she realized who had helped them, and she gritted her teeth, "That meddlesome son of a bitch!"

Shinjiro stared at Finé, before focusing on Hibiki. He'd deal with his friend first, then the Kadingir, and finally, Finé.

By now, the beast of Gungnir was up on her feet, and she was glaring at Shinjiro with hatred. The teen thinned his lips, he recognised this darkness.

It was the same as the one when Hibiki used the Durandal. And now he knew, it was from the Gungnir's overwhelming power.

Shinjiro was pulled out from his thoughts, as Hibiki dashed forward him. The teen braced himself as the beast swiped her claws at him, and Shinjiro blocked it with his arm, careful not to ignite his Spacium Blades.

The teen threw his free fist at the girl, but Hibiki pulled away, easily dodging the blow, before charging in again. But Shinjiro was ready, and grabbed the girl's extended arm.

Hibiki growled, and threw another swipe at the teen, only for Shinjiro to grab the arm as well.

The two wrestled for a while, pushing and pulling for dominance, before Hibiki slammed her foot in Shinjiro's chest, forcing them apart.

Shinjiro frowned and charged, something mirrored by Hibiki. The beast swung her claws at Shinjiro's feet, who stopped and jumped, flipping over the girl before he tried to grab her.

But Hibiki dodged the attempt easily by falling to all fours, before kicking the Ultraman away.

Shinjiro stumbled, before steadying his footing, 'She's strong... How do I turn her back?'

He was once again pulled out of his thoughts when Hibiki charged at him again, this time swinging her claws at his face. Again, Shinjiro managed to stop it by grabbing her arm at the wrists.

Hibiki growled and swung her other arm at him, only for Shinjiro to grab it too.

An idea popped into his mind, as Shinjiro remembered Bemular's words.

Spacium Energy is light.

He narrowed his eyes. It was all or nothing.

The teen focused on Hibiki, and pulled her close. The beast obviously didn't like it, not one bit, for she started thrashing around wildly, kneeing him in the ribs as hard as she could.

Shinjiro grunted as he held through, before pulling Hibiki's arm and turned her around, before wrapping one arm around her waist, and the other over her arms and neck.

The teen then focused. He focused on the one feeling he had found in his chest. The same feeling he had every time he tried to pull on his Spacium Core.

The only difference this time, was that he could feel it very much. It was there, and it was strong.

In response, his chest glowed, before expanding to his entire body, and Shinjiro grunted as he pulled Hibiki closer, "I'll purify you... With my LIGHT!"

The young man grunted as he focused, and the glow intensified, so much that it was blinding for everyone watching.

Finé's eyes widened, "That's...!"

(Linebreak)

Shinjiro opened his eyes to find himself in a dark space.

He looked around. Everything was dark, wisps of dark smoke covered the area, and it was suffocating.

Then, images flashed through his mind.

A small girl in a stadium. Kanade's bloodied face.

Numerous bullies. A vandalized household.

Finally, a very familiar black haired girl.

Shinjiro's eyes widened, 'These are... Hibiki's memories?'

Then, he suddenly found himself before a figure that was laid on the ground. No, it was more accurate to say that the person was sinking.

And that person, was Hibiki.

Shinjiro's eyes widened, "Hibiki?"

He knelt down, and reached out, grabbing Hibiki's shoulder, "Hey, Hibiki, wake up."

The moment his hands touched her shoulder, a dark aura extended out, threatening to devour his arm, but the young man managed to pull it back.

Shinjiro frowned, "Hibiki..."

He took a breath, and focused on his core, and reached out once more, "It's time to wake up, Hibiki."

The teen grabbed a hold of her shoulder, and this time, the darkness didn't extend over his arms. And Shinjiro pulled.

(Linebreak)

Tsubasa watched in awe, as Shinjiro glowed, his entire being covered with light. No, rather than being covered with light, it was more accurate to say that he was becoming the light.

Then, before their eyes, the darkness that surrounded Hibiki started to bleed away.

Shinjiro grunted, and he roared. In response, his light increased tenfold, and no one could stand looking at them.

Finally, the darkness that covered Hibiki vanished, and she was fully covered by Shinjiro's blue light, as the darkness was pushed out by the young man's light all the way up to the sky, before being purged in a burst of light.

The light slowly died down, and Hibiki blinked as she came to, "W-what?"

Shinjiro grinned, "You're back, Hibiki."

The girl blinked, "S-Shinjiro-san?"

The young man nodded, "Yeah, it's me."

Hibiki blinked, before she realized Shinjiro still had his arms around her waist, "E-eh?! S-Shinjiro-san! W-w-wha-what are you doing?!"

The teen blinked, before realizing their current position, and quickly let go of her, "S-sorry! It was to help you!"

Hibiki backed away, before steadying her breathing, "I-I know... Its fine... I think.."

Tsubasa blinked, and sighed as a smile found itself on her face, "Seriously..."

"Why?"

The three turned to stare at Finé, who was glaring at them, no, more specifically, Shinjiro.

The woman glared at him, "How did you manage to undo that?!"

Shinjiro simply stared back at her, "Because I wanted to."

Finé's eyes widened, "Because you wanted to?"

The woman frowned, and she let out a breath, "I see... I see now... So you've managed to learn how to use your core effectively. Good, very good, I'll have you in the tower again just yet."

Tsubasa glared at her, "As if we'd let you!"

The bluenette tried to stand up, yet could only manage one step, before she fell to the ground, the same was for Hibiki.

Shinjiro quickly caught the cream haired girl, before pulling her back to Tsubasa, whose Symphogear armor was now gone, "Rest, I'll handle this."

The two girls opened their mouths to protest, only for Shinjiro to cut them off, "Don't worry, I won't let her have her way."

The stare in his eyes held confidence, and Tsubasa and Hibiki couldn't help but just nod. The bluenette smiled, "Very well."

Hibiki grinned, "Go get her!"

Shinjiro nodded, and turned to face Finé.

The woman scoffed, "Don't think this will go any different from before!"

Shinjiro shook his head, "No, it won't be the same."

A red aura burst out from the suit, surrounding Shinjiro, much to Finé's surprise, "You unleashed your limiter?!"

The young man didn't reply. Or rather, his reply came in the form of a punch.

The woman's eyes widened as she was blown away by the single punch. Finé got to her feet, the bruise quickly healing itself with the Nehushtan's regenerative abilities.

She growled and dashed forward, slapping the draining device on Shinjiro's chest, but the teen easily batted it away, before landing a devastating kick that sent her crashing into the tower.

Finé groaned as she got out of the tower, and glared at him, "W-where... Where are you getting all this power?"

Shinjiro stared at her, "The answer's simpler than you think."

The woman growled, "W-what are you?"

The young man bent his knees, placing his hands in a t shaped posture, and even if the Spacium Ray device on his arms were broken beyond repair, his arms started to glow.

"I am... Ultraman!"

As soon as those words left his mouth, Shinjiro let out a massive beam of energy.

It was way stronger than the usual Spacium Ray the armor provided, and in an instant, the tower fell to pieces.

Finé's eyes widened in shock and realization, as Shinjiro had not aimed at her, but at the tower behind her.

The woman froze, "W-what did you do?"

The young Ultraman stared at her, "I stopped your plans."

Finé glared at him, "You don't understand the things you've done! Had I pierced the moon, the Curse of Balal would be gone! Then the world would be thrown into an uproar thanks to the gravitational disturbance! Everyone would come to me for help!"

Shinjiro stared at her silently as Finé continued, "They would feel pain! And we would be connected through bond!"

The woman glared at him, Tsubasa and Hibiki, "Yet... All of you got in my way!"

The young man let out a breath, "You're wrong. Pain is not the only bond that connects people."

Hibiki nodded, "Exactly! Songs connect people too!"

Tsubasa nodded, "There are many ways to connect with people around you."

Finé's glare intensified at their words, "All but naive and pretty words!"

She took a deep breath, and grasped hold of Solomon's Cane, "Whatever, you've all proven yourselves, by breaking my plans. But no matter, I am eternal. If I can't finish my plans this time, I can simply continue them in my next life."

Her glare returned, as she pointed the cane at them, "But for now, I'll be sure to enjoy destroying this place!"

The woman pulled the trigger, unleashing an army of Noises that extended all the way to the city.

Hibiki and Tsubasa gasped as they saw the light from the cane reaching all the way to the town, but before they could react, Shinjiro's voice reach them.

"Are you ready, Hibiki, Tsubasa?"

The girls looked at him in confusion, and Shinjiro smiled at them, his limiter having been replaced. But the glow on his chest told them everything.

The two girls nodded determinedly as they stood up, and Shinjiro yelled, "ARE YOU READY, CHRIS?!"

Without waiting for a response, Shinjiro let loose a roar, and immediately, three spheres of light shot out from his body.

Two of them shot towards Hibiki and Tsubasa, while one shot towards the trees in a distance, before three pillars of light shot up to the skies.

One orange, one blue, and one red.

Finé's eyes widened, "W-what?"

"Balwisyall Nescell Gungnir Tron..."

"Imyuteus Ame no Habakiri Tron..."

"Kilter Ichaival Tron..."

Three figures shot upwards, following the pillars of light, before they joined at the center, right above Shinjiro.

Then everyone saw them.

In the air, all in their glory, were Hibiki, Tsubasa, and Chris, all clad in their Symphogear armors. Yet, they were different.

The armors were all white, aside from their respective signature colors. Every feature was enlarged. Hibiki's thrusters were now energy wings, Tsubasa's feet blades were now as tall as herself, and Chris's skirt armor was more defined, with a pair of wings extending downwards.

Finé's eyes snapped to Shinjiro, "W-what did you do?!"

The young man shrugged, "No idea, it just felt right."

The woman glared at him, before turning her focus onto the three girls, 'Those forms, he forcefully removed the limiters on the Symphogears?!'

Hibiki gaped in awe at the enhanced Symphogear armor they all wore, and they could fly!

Tsubasa and Chris were equally in awe, considering the amount of power they had coursing in their bodies now. They felt unstoppable.

Tsubasa glanced at them, "We'll deal with the Noises."

Hibiki and Chris nodded, and they flew towards the cities, their Symphogears glowing eagerly.

As the three girls shot away, Shinjiro stared at Finé, the red aura of his limiter releasing returning in an instant, "Now, shall we pick off where we left?"

The woman glared at him hatefully, "Don't get carried away, BRAT!"

Finé's whips lashed out, but much to the woman's surprise, Shinjiro grabbed them at their blunt parts, before pulling her towards him. Then, a devastating uppercut found itself burying into Finé's stomach, causing her to spit out blood, before Shinjiro let her fall to the ground behind him.

He glanced back, "That... was for the commander."

Finé got to her feet, growling in pain, but Shinjiro was in front of her again, and a kick slammed into the woman's side, sending her crashing into the ground, "That... was for Miku-san and Ogawa-san."

The woman growled and scampered to get to her feet, but a kick met her face, sending her flipping across the air, before crashing into the ground, "That was for my father and Moroboshi-san."

Finé's growled, "Eno-ughh!"

A pair of Ultra Slash rings slashed her arms off, "That was for Chris, and for Hibiki."

The woman's arms quickly regenerated, but it didn't make the process any less painful, and Finé's hateful glare intensified, but she didn't have the time to do anything, for a Spacium Energy enhanced uppercut found itself in Finé's chin, sending her crashing into one of the walls of Kadingir's remains, "That was for me, and Kanade."

Finé painfully got out of the wall, and her eyes widened when she saw Shinjiro holding his arms in the famous t shaped pose once again. Frantically, the woman pulled up a barrier.

"And this... IS FOR TSUBASA!"

Shinjiro let the beam loose, and it easily devoured the woman and the building behind her, leaving nothing left of Kadingir except for the small stump that used to be the base of the tower.

As the beam died down, Finé's body fell to the ground, smoking as she gasped in pain, barely surviving thanks to the barrier she'd put up at the last minute.

The woman could hear the explosions from the three Symphogear users destroying all the Noises in the city, and it irked her to no end.

As Hibiki, Chris and Tsubasa destroyed Noise after Noise, the lavender haired girl growled and let loose a huge barrage of beams from her Symphogear.

Several dozen beams all struck the Noises in the air, destroying them, before proceeding on to the next batch.

Hibiki grinned, "Nice! I always wanted to see random fire in real life!"

Chris stared at her with a frown, "Huh? I was aiming for every one of those shot!"

The cream haired girl blinked, before spotting the horde of Noises on the ground, and a grin appeared on her face, "Then I'll fire randomly myself!"

Hibiki dashed down, and multiple bullets appeared on her gauntlet. In a punch, Hibiki shot out the bullets, all of them raining down indiscriminately on the Noises.

Chris spared the sight a glance, before letting out a sigh of exasperation, something shared by Tsubasa. The two girls looked at each other, before they giggled.

The two then went back to destroying the Noises.

(Linebreak)

As the three girls destroyed the Noises, Bemular stayed in the forests watching the scene.

The silver being thinned his lips.

(Flashback)

Bemular kept to his word as Shinjiro dashed away, and simply stayed there watching over the girl.

He stared at her wounds, and no doubt her organs were failing inside. The silver alien narrowed his eyes as he stared at Chris' sweating face, and he made a decision, before extending his arm over her.

Then, a small wave of blue particles washed over the girl, and her wounds quickly healed, and Chris' breathing steadied. The girl groaned, as she came to.

Chris opened her eyes, and quickly spotted the branches above her, "W-wha?"

She sat up, and saw Bemular standing before her, "B-Bemular?"

The silver being nodded, "Yukine Chris."

Chris winced as her body was still sore, "W-what happened?"

She frowned, "I used my Climax Song, and then Finé mentioned something about Shinjiro being in that tower..."

Bemular spoke, "If you're worried about Hayata Shinjiro, then your worries are for naught. He is fine, and is, I suppose the phrase would be, beating her up."

Chris blinked. She blinked again, "What?"

The silver being nodded, before he stared at her, "As for you, while I've healed your wounds, you won't be in a state to fight."

The lavender haired girl reluctantly nodded, she knew. Using the Climax Song like how she had would surely have consequences, and she could feel them in her own body.

Then, a loud screech reached their ears, followed by a loud boom.

Chris snapped her head in the direction, "What the fuck's happening?"

Bemular let out a breath, "It seems that Hayata Shinjiro, has learned to do the Spacium Beam."

The girl blinked, and she furrowed her brows, "What do you mean learned it? Hasn't he been always able to do it in the first place?"

The silver being stared at her, "No, that is but an imitation of the attack. The same as every other attack he's every used. But now, Hayata Shinjiro has started moving towards becoming a real one."

Chris frowned, but chose to stay silent, until she heard Shinjiro yelling.

"ARE YOU READY, CHRIS?!"

The girl blinked, "What the heck?"

Bemular sighed, "Get ready. It seems that boy doesn't want to keep you out of the fight."

On cue, a sphere of light struck the girl in the chest, much to her surprise, and Chris felt power surging through her body. The girl smirked, and she started singing.

(Flashback end)

Bemular stared at the three girls. He had no idea, that Spacium Energy could trigger such an evolution in the Symphogear armors.

It made things easier.

The silver being turned and gave the remains of Kadingir a glance, where Shinjiro and Finé were still fighting. He let out a sigh.

But before his thoughts could wander any further, a scream for help reached his ears, and Bemular looked down to see a small trio of people being attacked by the Noises.

Narrowing his eyes, Bemular dashed down, conjuring a red beam of energy in his palms and blasted the Noises away. He glanced at the three, "Run."

They immediately followed his orders, and ran for the nearest shelter. However, their reactions had drawn more Noises to them. Yet, fortunately, a red beam of light struck them down.

Bemular let out a breath as more Noises gathered before him, "I suppose a workout should be fine."

The being swung his arms, sending two energy slashes that tore through the Noises, before he himself charged them.

(Linebreak)

In less than 10 minutes, the three girls, and unknown to anyone, Bemular, had wiped out all of the Noises. Shinjiro, on the other hand, was still beating Finé around.

The woman growled as Hibiki, Tsubasa and Chris all gathered behind and above Shinjiro. Tsubasa looked at her, "So, you were the one who released all the Noises?"

Finé stared at them, "The Noises are autonomous weapons made by mankind, after they had lost understanding of each other thanks to the Curse of Balal. And guess what they were made for, to slaughter each other."

Hibiki frowned, "Weapons..?"

The woman smirked, "Well, people managed to seal them up in the Gate of Babylon, and they could only escape once every decade at most. Of course, normally, that is."

Shinjiro frowned, "And now you've changed it."

Finé nodded, "Ah but of course, thanks to Solomon's Cane, the Noises are but another weapon for me to use."

She raised her cane, and the four prepared to face the Noises that'd inevitably come. But instead, much to everyone's shock, Finé pulled the staff down, and stabbed it into her gut.

The woman winced in pain, before she let out a dark chuckle, and several tendrils shot out of the cane, connecting Finé to it directly.

In the next instant, the few remaining Noises all shot towards Finé, and in addition, the cane summoned more Noises that swarmed to Finé's body, forming a huge blotch of red goo.

Tsubasa gasped, "She's being consumed by the Noises?"

Shinjiro frowned as he ascended to their level, "No, she's consuming them."

As if responding to his words, the red blotch shot at them, forcing the four of them move away. Shinjiro frowned, and his frown deepened when he saw Finé's face at the tip of the gooey spear.

The woman smirked, "Come... Durandal!"

The red blotch extended into the remains of Kadingir, and reached for the sword, quickly engulfing it. In response, the sword glowed, and the red blotch solidified as it grew larger, forming a beast that looked like a snake.

The beast shot out a beam of energy, and Shinjiro grunted as he swiftly conjured an Ultra Barrier that barely managed go block the strike.

Chris growled, "You bitch!"

She unleashed a barrage of beams from her armor, and they all struck the snake. But much to her shock, the attacks did nothing more than scratch the beast, as several black panels grew over the beast and blocked the attacks.

Shinjiro and Tsubasa both grunted as they swung at the beast, sending two Ultra Slash rings and a slash of energy at Finé.

Aoi Issen. Azure Flash.

The aim of the three attacks were true, as they hit the snake in the head, but they did nothing more than create a hole that quickly patched itself.

Hibiki roared as she charged in, pulling the piston on her gauntlet back, before landing a punch on the snake's neck. And it did form a huge hole, but before any of them could rush in to follow up, Finé unleashed a barrage of beams, forcing them to back away.

Finé smirked, "Did you really think the mere power of three fragments of a relic and a juvenile Ultraman can match the power of a completed relic?"

Her words sparked an idea in Tsubasa and Chris, who shared a glance, and the bluenette spoke, "A completed relic."

Chris smirked, "You thinking what I'm thinking?"

Shinjiro stopped by them, "We'll open a way, that's why..."

He trailed off, and glanced at Hibiki, "Hibiki..."

The girl quickly realized what they had in mind, and Hibiki quickly shook her head, "No! I can't handle it, Shinjiro-san is a better-"

"You can do it."

Shinjiro cut her off, and he gave her a smile, "You can do it. You have a heart that wants to save everyone. If there's anyone who can handle it, it's you."

Hibiki paused, and she looked at them, "Let's do this!"

Tsubasa, Chris and Shinjiro nodded, and the three charged.

Chris used her boosters to push herself forward, and as expected, the snake's beams all homed in on her. In response, Chris unleased her own barrage of beams, easily countering them.

Using the opening, Tsubasa pumped energy into her sword, enlarging it once more, and she swung.

Aoi Issen Metsuyabu. Azure Flash Destroyer.

The slash easily struck the snake, and created a hole in the snake's neck.

Not missing the chance, Shinjiro released his limiter once more, and dashed straight into the snake's body.

Finé's eyes widened in shock, as she found herself face to face with Shinjiro's t shaped pose, and she growled, conjuring three layers of barriers.

But the Spacium Beam easily ripped through the barriers, and it struck Finé in the arm, forcing her to let go of the sword as the beam easily destroyed her arm.

Finé growled in pain, and summoned multiple tendrils to strike Shinjiro, but the Ultraman was already moving, and he kicked the sword out of the snake's body, before the tentacles blasted him out of the snake's body.

Hibiki saw the sword flying in the air, and she wasted not a second, grabbing hold of the sword.

Yet, as soon as her fingers wrapped around the hilt of the Durandal, Hibiki fell to the ground, as it's aura threatened to envelop her once again.

Tsubasa's eyes widened, "What?!"

Finé chuckled darkly as she regained her posture, "As I expected, she can't handle the sword!"

The dark aura easily enveloped the girl, and she growled as she glared at Tsubasa and Chris, barely able to stop herself from attacking everyone in sight.

Until a hand clasped over Hibiki's own on the Durandal's sword, and the aura immediately changed from pitch black to white. Shinjiro grunted as he felt the darkness emitting from Hibiki, no, Gungnir's core.

He looked at her, "Don't give up, Hibiki! We're all here with you!"

Shinjiro let out a roar, and his Spacium Core glowed, enveloping the girl, forcing the darkness back to her chest. The girl regained her senses, and gripped her fingers around the sword tightly, "Thank you, Shinjiro-san. I won't let myself give in to this sword! I'll protect everyone!"

And as if responding to Hibiki's words, the sword glowed, and formed a massive sword of pure energy that reached for the skies.

Shinjiro nodded to her, and she glanced at him with an equally determined look, "Let's finish this, Hibiki."

The two turned their gazes on Finé, who glared back, "If a clash of completed relics is what you want, then have at thee!"

Shinjiro and Hibiki both rose to the air, and they swung the sword down, "Banish the wicked... DURANDAL!"

The snake shot out a large beam of energy, hitting the sword head on, but Shinjiro and Hibiki weren't about to just let it stay that way.

"THIS... IS OUR... LIGHT!"

Synchrogazer.

In the next instant, the sword of light smashed right through the beam, and slashed the snake in half. Finé's eyes widened in shock as the sword of light destroyed the snake easily, and everything went white.

Shinjiro landed on the ground, where Tsubasa and Chris were waiting. The lavender haired girl scoffed at him, but her smile told him everything, "Took you long enough."

Tsubasa nodded, "Where's Tachibana?"

Shinjiro sighed and thrusted his thumb behind him, "Over there."

The two girls looked over, and they couldn't help but let out an exasperated sigh. The reason was simple, Hibiki was helping someone walk to them, someone they were very familiar with.

Finé grunted as she walked, "Just why are you helping me? This is ridiculous."

Hibiki giggled as she set the woman down on an elevated rock, "I get that a lot."

She looked at Finé, "Let's just end everything here, Ryoko-san."

Finé let out a huff, "My name is Finé."

Hibiki smiled, "But, to me, Ryoko-san is Ryoko-san. I'm sure we can understand each other."

The woman let out a sigh, and she stood up, "The Noises were created by mankind, in an attempt to destroy each other. When we lost our connection to each other, instead of trying to understand each other again, we sought to exterminate the ones that were different from ourselves. "

She glanced back at Hibiki bitterly, "How can mankind, how can we ever hope to understand one another?"

"People make mistakes, and they grow from them. That's what makes them human. After that war, after you passed on, the people of the following generations came to peace, and even if they are apart, do you see them actively destroying each other, Finé?"

Everyone looked at where those words came from, and Finé scoffed, "Bemular..."

Hibiki and Tsubasa immediately stayed on guard, but a hand from Shinjiro told them to stop.

Bemular stared at the woman, "It was because of how humans learned from their misgivings, they could grow. It is also another reason why Enki treasured you humans so much."

Finé glared at him, "Him? Treasure humans?! Are you hearing yourself?"

The silver being sighed, "You have it wrong, Finé, Enki loved you, and he struck your tower down, because it attracted attention from the other Custodians. The Curse of Balal, as you call it, was to protect you."

The woman's glare intensified, "Which part of that protected me?! It threw the world into chaos! It broke everyone apart!"

Bemular sighed, and simply placed his hand over her, "Then see for yourself."

The woman's eyes glazed over for a moment, before she froze, tears threatening to fall, "A-all this time..."

Finé fell to her knees, "I..."

Bemular let out another sigh, "Do you understand now?"

The woman nodded, "All this time, it was I who refused to try and understand others..."

Finé stood up, and stared at the four teens, and this time, instead of petty humans, she saw something else. The woman sighed, "I guess, I really am but a wraith from the past."

Tsubasa furrowed her brows, "Finé..."

The woman let out a humorless laugh, and her feet started to turn into ash, "I guess, I don't really have the right to say this now, but, I'll bet on that light you all possess. Please, don't ever lose sight of it."

Finé's eyes landed on Shinjiro at that last part, before her body scattered into ashes.

Chris furrowed her brows, "Finé..."

Bemular closed his eyes, before he started to ascend to the skies, until he noticed something. Evidently, Hibiki did too, "What...what is that?"

The three others turned and looked up at where Hibiki was looking at, and their eyes widened.

Bemular let out a breath, "The fragment of the moon shot out by the Kadingir is falling. It seems, it had been slowly moving towards the Earth, and now, the planet's gravity has caught it."

Hibiki's eyes widened, "Then, that means it'll fall down onto the ground?!"

Bemular nodded, "And many lives will be lost, without a doubt."

Shinjiro gritted his teeth, and prepared to shoot up to stop it, until Bemular spoke, "Your power as you are now won't work, Hayata Shinjiro."

The young man turned and glared at him, "Then what do you expect me to do?!"

Bemular looked at the three girls, "Right now, the only thing capable of taking down that fragment, is the combined power of three Spacium enhanced Symphogears. Your Climax Songs will without a doubt possess the power to take it down."

Shinjiro glared at him, "Are you telling them to throw away their lives?!"

The three girls shared a glance, and nodded. Tsubasa glanced at Shinjiro, "We'll do it."

The teen snapped at them, "But-"

Chris cut him off, "If we don't do it, then a lot of innocent people will die."

Hibiki nodded, giving him a smile, "Exactly, we can't let that happen. That's why, we need you to protect them in our place after this."

The girls nodded to each other, and they shot up towards the sky before Shinjiro could say anything.

"Gatrandis Babel Ziggurat Edenel."

Shinjiro gaped as he felt the power of all three Symphogears resonating with each other, "They're actually singing it..."

"Emulstolronzen Fine el Balal Zizzl..."

Bemular stared at him, "And are you gonna let that happen?"

Shinjiro snapped his head at him, "What?"

"Gatrandis Babel Ziggurat Edenel."

Bemular held his gaze firmly, "Are you Hayata Shinjiro, a powerless human, or are you Hayata Shinjiro, Ultraman?"

"Emustolronzen Fine el Zizzl..."

Shinjiro clenched his fists, and he glowed red once more, before shooting up into the skies, "I am... ULTRAMAN!"

The young man shit past the three girls, much to their surprise. And Shinjiro stopped right in front of the falling fragment.

Tsubasa yelled out, "What are you doing, Shinjiro-kun?!"

Chris growled, "Idiot! You'll get caught in the blast!"

Hibiki nodded as the three shot towards him, "Get back!"

Shinjiro turned and looked at them, "If you want to protect the people on Earth so much, then protect them yourselves!"

He turned his body back towards the moon, and he bent his body forward, pulling his arms back. In response, energy gathered around his arm, causing them to glow a bright blue.

And much to the girls' shock, the strain they felt from singing their Climax Song mysteriously vanished, along with most of their powers. Then, they started to descend slowly.

The young man placed both his arms in the famous T shaped position, and his arms glowed more, "Never give up until the very end, and make the impossible possible... That's what it means... to be Ultraman!"

Then, with a loud and strong roar, everything turned white.

(Linebreak)

On the surface of the Earth, everyone witnessed the bright white explosion from the fragment of the moon, and Bemular stared at the explosion, "Using the enhanced powers of the three Symphogears' Climax Songs to boost your own, and then unleash everything you have in a single Spacium Beam."

He found himself nodding approvingly, 'Never giving up until the end, and make the impossible possible... eh?'

Bemular closed his eyes, before ascending towards the skies himself, 'You may prove me wrong just yet, Hayata Shinjiro, no, Ultraman.'

The silver being quickly stopped midair, as the body of the young man fell in front of him, right into his arms.

XXX

Done.

That marks the end of season 1!

I just realized this too. One month. That was all it took for us to finish season 1's events in this story. Exactly one month.

I'll start working on season 2 soon. But I'll probably take a few days worth of a break before I post the next chapters.

Until then, review please.
