BGM-Mega Man Zero 3 OST-Prismatic (Telos Ver.)

A portal open at the Time Sanctuary that deposits the Avengers, having returned from that alternate future. "The Time Sanctuary. We're back!" Tails said with a smile.

"Hopefully we weren't gone for too long." Stark remarked.

"THERE YOU ALL ARE!" shouted Cia from the distance, having spotted the returning Avengers while standing around with the Nick Fury of the main timeline. She and Fury run to greet the heroes as she says, "We've been looking everywhere for you! All of a sudden you vanished from the timeline. I'm sorry that I was unable to find you all in time." She frowned.

Steve smiles at her to cheer her up, "It's okay. You did the best you could. All of us were caught off-guard when Mephiles sent us through time."

"And it's nice to see you not as an old man, Nick. I mean, you still are an old man…" Spidey jokingly greets Fury Prime.

Fury scowls at him, "What are you talking about? What future timeline were you stuck in?"

"The one where you became a decent father during the apocalypse. We could've called for a ride home, but my sword ran out of batteries." quips Spidey, holding out the Chronoblade.

"How long were we gone?" Ruby asked.

Cia frowns, "Long enough for Chronoa to be on the verge of resurrection." She announced, shocking the Avengers with this terrible news.

"Nay! Our enemies have obtained all three Sacred Treasures?!" Thor retorted.

Fury crosses his arms and says, "Afraid so. While you were all trapped in the future, the Syndicate infiltrated Avengers Tower and took our Treasures for Red Skull to become Chrono King. Then they revealed their intentions to revive Chronoa to the entire world! Everyone's getting worried and been wondering where you went." He informs the heroes on what they missed out.

Steve scratches his muzzle with a calm demeanor, "I was afraid this was all a distraction. Have you been able to pinpoint their location?" He asked Fury and Cia.

"Not yet. Chronoa's revival has been emitting time distortions that are affecting the entire planet, which made it more difficult to find you and locate the source." Fury replied.

"Then let's head back to Avengers Tower and put our heads together immediately. There's still time to stop them before they revive Chronoa!" Steve retorted.

Cia nods, "Understood, Captain. I will transport us right away!" She raises her scepter as it glows, unleashing her magic to warp everyone to the prime timeline.

Avengers Tower, New Vale City (Main Timeline)

Cia warped everyone to a lab in the tower as Kamala says, "Home sweet home. Thank goodness. That bad future kinda depressed me."

Iron Man dashes to interact with the nearest holographic computer while saying, "No time to relax! JARVIS, you awake?!"

'I have been rebooted thanks to an earlier visit from Nick Fury.' JARVIS responded.

"Good." Stark retorted. "Listen, gonna need your help to trace the energy signatures of our stolen Treasures quick! Been doing tons of research on them, so it shouldn't take-!" But then out of nowhere, a massive earthquake hits Avengers Tower and forces Tony to hold on for his life, "What the…?"

The quakes grow stronger, affecting not just the city but the entire planet. The Avengers nearly lose their footing as they desperately cling onto something for their own safety. "Whooooa! This isn't a normal earthquake!" Tails noted.

'Alert! A massive time distortion is radiating from the sky!' JARVIS announced.

"Give us visual!" Stark ordered urgently.

JARVIS projects a wide holographic viewscreen for the Avengers to look at. High in the sky above an ocean is the Summoning Gate, which flashes a bright light blinds the heroes for a moment. The light then disappears, as is the Summoning Gate and the earthquakes. But in their places is an enormous, marvelous, and advanced technological city floating in the sky that has left the Avengers in awe from its appearance alone.

BGM-Mega Man Star Force 2 OST-Atmosphere of Unrest

"I can't believe it. After so many centuries…It's my home…Chronoa." said Cia in utter shock, confirming that the floating island they are looking at is in fact the revived kingdom of Chronoa.

Meanwhile at Mantle Metropolis…

Citizens from across the globe have spotted Chronoa suddenly appear in the sky, starting with the people of Mantle Metropolis. Fiona Thyme frantically runs up to Robyn Hill on the sidewalk and shouts at her saying, "ROBYN! Look up there!"

Robyn looks up and is immediately shocked to find the revived city floating high above her own city, "What is that…?"

At Nanzca Village…

The same phenomenon is being experienced at Nanzca Village. The villagers are running in a panic while the Shaman stares in disbelief at Chronoa. "That's…impossible!" The Shaman commented.

At Wakanda Island…

Knuckles and Yang were hanging out at the Shrine Isle when they too suddenly spot Chronoa floating in the sky. "Wh-Where did that island come from?" Yang questions, looking worried with a sweatdrop.

Knuckles stood in front of the Master Emerald as he touches his earpiece to speak to someone, "T'Challa! Are you seeing what we're seeing?!"

'Everyone across the world is witnessing this phenomenon! That must be the legendary civilization Red Skull announced! The Kingdom of Chronoa has returned!' Black Panther retorted, unnerving his two friends as they continue staring at the summoned island.

Back at Avengers Tower…

The Avengers continue staring at the viewscreen displaying Chronoa as Red Skull's voice gets broadcasted around the globe and says, 'Allow me to greet you…with the full power of Chronoa!'

The entire world watches as Chronoa fires a massive laser into an ocean. The blast was so powerful that it not only formed a massive crater into the ocean that unleashed devastating shockwaves across the sea, but it shakes the entire planet. Citizens scream, panicking for their lives as Skull says, 'This is the legendary power of Chronoa you feel! I should inform you…This is but a taste of the power of Chronoa! I will unleash the full power of Chronoa, but that still requires some time…But by tomorrow morning, you too will know the full extent of Chronoa's power!' He announces to the planet.

Suddenly the quakes stop just as Chronoa disappears from the sky. "It disappeared!" Ruby noticed.

"That was only a taste and Chronoa already terrified the entire planet!" Wolverine comments on the city's legendary power.

"What do we do? H-HOW are we gonna deal with that?!" asked Spider-Man.

"There's nothing we can do…Just wait till tomorrow. Tomorrow when we see Chronoa, that'll be our chance. For now, we wait and strategize." Steve replied with a calming tone.

"Chronoa's energy readings were off the charts! Wakanda and Attilan don't even compare…" said Stark, sounding stunned from what he witnessed. He turns to Cia and says, "Cia, you got to tell us EVERYTHING about that city. What else besides a giant laser that Skull could use to conquer the world?"

"Our Tokizoid armies and advanced weaponry for starters, as well as access to Ra Fu." Cia replied.

BGM-Mega Man X8 OST-Deepening Mystery

"Ra Fu?" Stark questioned.

Cia glances at the heroes while saying, "It is the core of Chronoa, and our most advanced supercomputer. My ancestors created Ra Fu to establish a link with Solaris to serve as his avatar. It is a source of great wisdom and possess incredible knowledge of the planet's history thanks to being connected to the timestream."

"That doesn't sound terrifying." Spidey commented.

"Unless it has access to future information." Black Widow responded.

"Then that would be terrifying." Spidey quipped.

"Ra Fu was restricted to educational purposes until our war against Apocalypse broke out, when it was further used as an analysis machine and help strategize against our enemies. It was also responsible for lifting the kingdom to the sky like you just saw. Any other secrets it may hold died with the previous kings of Chronoa." Cia informed.

"But with Red Skull as the new Chrono King, it's likely he gained access to those secrets. If not, Ra Fu still presents a problem with its limitless information. Knowledge is power after all." Fury remarked.

Steve puts his hands on his hips while saying, "Nonetheless, we need to prepare for the final battle immediately." He glances to Iron Man, "Tony, finish that secret project of yours by tomorrow. We're gonna need 'em."

Tony nods, "You got it."

Steve looks to Cia, "Cia, tell us everything else you know about Chronoa so we can formulate a strategy against their defenses."

Cia nods with a serious expression, "Right."

"In the meantime, I'll talk to Senator Rusk and try to convince him to reactivate SHIELD. We don't know exactly what the Syndicate are planning, so the planet needs to be ready for the worst." Steve said to his allies.

"Easier said than done. Rusk is difficultly stubborn." Fury quipped.

"If SHIELD can't help us, I can contact the Freedom Fighters for additional support." Tails said to his friends.

Steve grin at the fox with a nod, "Good idea. We need to let our friends know to be ready for anything. Starting tomorrow, it's war."

Living Room, Avengers Tower

BGM-Mega Man ZX Advent OST-Relief (Tunes Ver.)

"So that is what we're dealing with." said Tails, speaking to holograms of Sonic and Sally and informing them of the situation while Spidey and Thor accompany the fox.

Sally ponders while saying, "Yeah. Skull made it obvious to everyone. Still…It's hard to believe…Chronoa's technology is way more advanced than we thought. They can destroy the entire planet with that city."

Sonic scratches his quills while saying, "I still can't believe they worshipped me as a god that created the kingdom. Time travel is confusing."

"This is all our fault. Our battle with the Time Eater changed history for the worst." Spidey says somberly.

"I would argue against that, Spider-Man." Thor responded.

Spidey glances at the god with a retort, "C'mon, Thor. If we were less sloppy beating that thing, none of this would be happening. Solaris wouldn't exist. Blaze wouldn't have had to sacrifice herself to stop Iblis. This world and the future wouldn't have to suffer from our mistake."

"Heh. You're always quick to feel guilty.' Sonic quips with a grin, 'Don't forget, I helped beat the Time Eater, so this is sorta my fault too. But I like to see this as a happy accident'."

"What's so happy about the end of the world?" Spidey quips while looking at the hedgehog's hologram.

Sonic says, "Time Eater was upgraded by Eggman and Doc Ock to conquer the world, but the Chronoans used their tech to HELP the world. Accident or not, we created a kingdom that was dedicated to build a peaceful future for everyone. That's not a bad thing."

"I suppose not, if their tech wasn't being used to conquer the world again." Spidey responded.

"That's just the Syndicate being stupid. Great power, great responsibility. The Chronoans understood that thanks to us." Sonic grinned, cheering up his spectacular friend.

Spidey smiles behind his mask and quips, "Yeah. We made good Golden Gods."

"Agreed." said Thor, smiling while placing his hand on Peter's shoulder, "Unfortunately, there is no time to collect the Chaos Emeralds, but can we expect your support, Freedom Fighters?" He looks at the holograms.

Sally nods with a smile, "You can count on us. We'll protect the planet while you all infiltrate Chronoa."

"Thank you, Princess Sally." Thor replied.

"Any update on SHIELD?" Sally asked.

Tails says, "Captain America is talking with Rusk right now. Hopefully, he'll listen to reason."

"Extremely doubt that. Hear he's more stubborn than me." Sonic joked.

Meanwhile in the Conference Room…

BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 OST-Earth's Mightiest Tower

'I am aware of the situation, Captain, but NO. I will not reactivate SHIELD. SHIELD is still under heavy investigation for the next several weeks.' said Senator Rusk, speaking to Steve and Natasha from a TV screen.

"The Earth may not have weeks. The Syndicate threatened the entire planet! You SAW what Chronoa is capable of! We need every asset available and ready to counter a major attack!" Steve argued.

'Why should I take orders from the people hiding Nick Fury's whereabouts?' Rusk retorted sternly. 'Unless you bring him in, SHIELD will remain suspended and the Avengers will be arrested for harboring a dangerous criminal!'

Widow slams her hands on the table while coldly glaring at the senator, "Are you threatening us? Fury is NOT a criminal! He's innocent and has been set-up! No doubt by the Syndicate! Isn't it highly suspicious they revealed themselves and kidnapped Fury right after YOU got him arrested? Fury isn't the only one being made a fool."

'I am NOT a fool!' Rusk retorts angrily with a menacing scowl. 'Fine. I will allow worldwide clearance against the Syndicate just this once. GUN can provide you backup, but that is it. You heroes think you can get away with anything. CONTROL anything. You're nothing but reckless vigilantes that need to be disciplined. Perhaps registered to work for the government. We'll see what happens if we survive this ordeal. Good day.' He ominously warns the heroes before signing off.

"That sounded like it could've gone better." quips Fury, walking into the conference room and getting the attention of his allies, "Maybe it's best for everyone that I turn myself in." He announced.

"You don't have to that, sir. Rusk is being idiotic, allowing his bias against superheroes to cloud his judgment. We can still search for ways to save SHIELD." Widow retorted.

"And while we search, Rusk will keep knocking on your front door with an arrest warrant." Fury remarks. "He clearly has an agenda, and we won't be able to stop it if we're all behind bars. The least I can do is turn myself in. Buy you all enough time to save SHIELD."

"If you think that's for the best, then we won't let you down." Steve responded.

"We gotta make sure the world doesn't end before I go back to jail. I still have a score to settle with the Syndicate. Payback for their hospitality when I was their prisoner!" Fury smiled, wanting to join the attack on Chronoa.

Steve smiles, "Glad to have you on board." He said, allowing Fury to join them.

Meanwhile, in the deepest part of Chronoa…

BGM-Mega Man ZX OST- Fate - Deep-Seated Grudge

Mephiles leads the Syndicate into a massive throne room, where they find a pedestal underneath a large black, metallic sphere with golden runes encircling it and a blue gear-like symbol on the middle and attached by wires that keep it suspended in the air. The symbol on the mysterious sphere glows the moment the villains walked into the room, specifically reacting to Chrono King Skull.

"What is this…!?" Eggman Nega questioned the technology.

"Mephiles, an explanation." Skull requested one from the dark spirit.

"Ra Fu…" Mephiles answered ominously.

"Ra Fu?" Skull questioned, glancing at the spirit.

Mephiles says, "The Avatar of Solaris. Created by the Chronoans as a supercomputer that contains vast knowledge from across time and space. It went inactive after the Fall of Chronoa and Solaris was sealed. But now, as the new Chrono King, its power has returned and completely under your command." He looks at Skull with gestures.

Skull smiles, "I can see how this can be useful in our war against the planet."

"You clearly have no idea." Mephiles mocked, slightly annoying the nazi.

"What do you mean?" Skull asked, sternly glaring at the spirit.

"Ra Fu possesses a power that most Chronoans weren't aware it has. It can warp time and space to create anything in a blink of an eye. And it has no limit to how many copies it can create. With this power of Ra Fu, no one can stand against us!' Mephiles explained.

"If that is the case…" Red Skull points his spear at Ra Fu and shouts, "Ra Fu! Show me your power! Create me an army of Adaptoids loyal to Hydra and the Syndicate!"

Ra Fu glows and obeys the Chrono King, instantly summoning a small army of black Adaptoids with the Hydra symbol on their faces, shocking the villains with this amazing feat. "Multiples Adaptoids…!" Nega remarked, taking aback by Ra Fu's power.

"And in just an instant! What awesome power!" Taskmaster commented.

"Yes. I will have to admit this is impressive." Salem share her comments as well to the group.

Ra Fu shows no signs of stopping as it continues to time-clone Hydra Adaptoids into the room and send them out across the city, all while an impressed Red Skull laughs maniacally, "Hahahahaha! YAHAHAHAHAHA!"

The Next Day…at Avengers Tower

The Avengers, Nick Fury, and Cia have gathered at the briefing room. They are staring at a holo-screen displaying the sky, patiently waiting for Chronoa to reappear. "It's noon…" Steve stated.

"We should be able to see Chronoa by now." said the armorless Tony.

Just then, Spidey feels that familiar tingling sensation in his head and says, "Spider-Sense tingling…It's coming." He said with a serious tone.

Right on cue, the planet feels a tremendous earthquake which signals the return of Chronoa. 'Sorry to have kept everyone waiting.' Red Skull's voice is heard from the speakers, as Chronoa reappears in the sky. Everyone around the world, from New Vale to Solkaria, look up to see the reviving kingdom floating in the sky as they murmur with others while Skull asks, 'People of Mobiant Earth! Do you hear me?'

"It's here." Fury proclaimed, staring at the screen displaying Chronoa.

'Everything is ready. As promised, I will show you the power of Chronoa.' said Skull. Kamala gulps in anticipation as Skull continues, 'I have a proclamation for you! You are about to be conquered by the Neo Chronoa Empire! I am its Chrono King! And you all belong to me. You will do as I say!'

"Neo Chronoa Empire?" Ruby comments with a confused expression.

Cia grunts angrily as she scowls, "Just sully the name of my people."

Skull continues, 'However…There is salvation for those worthy enough join the empire! As a citizen of Chronoa, you would have your freedoms restored! You would have rights as part of the great Neo Chronoa Empire! And now…We are going to have a little test! Anyone who passes this test may join the Neo Chronoa Empire!' A bright light flashes from Chronoa, which got the Avengers curious and confused.

"What's going on?" Kamala asked, glancing at Steve.

"Trouble." Steve replied.

'Alert! A timespace portal has opened above Time Square depositing Adaptoids and Tokizoids and have begun attacking the city!' JARVIS informs the Avengers, quickly surprising them with this crazy news.

"What?! Give us visual!" Tony ordered.

BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 OST-Ultimate Confrontation

A second viewscreen is projected displaying a massive portal above New Vale deploying countless Adaptoids and Tokizoids that are attacking the city with various weaponry and causing civilians to go on a panic. "Adaptoids…And unlike any we've encountered before." Bruce commented.

'Another portal has appeared in Europe, Yurashia, South Amerius…Every major continent in fact! And in addition to Tokizoids and Adaptoids, they are deploying Grimm, Badniks, Hydra Agents, and Mindless Ones!' JARVIS informed.

"They're everywhere! This is bad!" Wolverine scowled.

Skull announces, 'I am sending out armies led by my Super Hydra Adaptoids from Chronoa into the world! If you try to resist, you will only meet your end. The power of Chronoa's Time-Clones is limitless!'

"Limitless? Time-Clones? How did they gain access to that kind of power?!" Cia comments in surprise, as she didn't know her home was wielding this level of power.

"It's Ra Fu! It must be!" Tony responded, guessing that Ra Fu is behind these Time-Clones.

'This is the true power of Chronoa! Enjoy it while you can…For only the greatest among you…can enter the Neo Chronoa Empire! Go forth now, Warriors of Chronoa!' Skull proclaimed before laughing maniacally.

"If his armies are being time-cloned, then we've already lost the war of attrition. The only way to stop them is by going to the source. And shut it down!" Steve said, turning to glance at his team as he says, "JARVIS? Plot a source to Chronoa."

'At once, Captain.' JARVIS complied.

Tony glances at everyone with nods, pacing around them while saying, "Okay! Well, if we're going into battle with Crimson Cranium's timespace death fortress, legion of supervillains, and a limitless supply of goons…Heh. We might as well look good doing it, right?"

Everyone turns to give Tony a deadpan stare, who responds with a slightly awkward, "Right."

Later at the Hanger Bay…

BGM-The Avengers (2012) OST-The Avengers

The Quinjet opens its hatch for Nick Fury and the Avengers walking towards it, with each Avenger sporting their new Stark Tech Armor. Iron Man comes in with armor sporting his iconic colors, but with more golden accents on the abdomen. Captain America wears armor sporting his classic colors, and a helmet that gives him glowing blue eyes. Thor's new looks is mostly the same as his previous outfit except he's wearing a golden chain mail. Hulk simply wears purple armored gauntlets and pants. Black Widow's new suit sports golden accents and a metallic domino mask that makes her eyes glow. Spider-Man wears a suit that closely resembles the MCU Iron Spider Suit, but has glowing blue eyes and a small glowing blue spider-symbol in its own spot on his chest. Wolverine wears a new armored yellow and black suit. Tails's armor is a black catsuit with yellow and white lines accents, and has armor parts on his shoulders, hands, chest, and visor helmet, all that have glowing red lights, as well as metallic boosters on his boots. And Ruby and Ms. Marvel's new looks are basically armored variations of their regular outfits, with Ruby wearing her hood.

"It smells like a new car in here." quips the armored Spider-Man.

"Is everyone ready?" asked Fury, turning to his team.

"Hold on!" shouted Cia, running to meet with the Avengers.

"You're coming?" A shocked Fury asked.

Cia scowls at him as she retorts, "Of course I am! Chronoa is my home! I won't sit back while it's being abused! And the only way to save it is by destroying Ra Fu!"

"But wouldn't destroying Ra Fu mean destroying Chronoa?" Steve questioned her.

Cia frowns, "Yes…But it's better being destroyed before it destroys your home!"

"No way! We can simply shut off Ra Fu without destroying Chronoa! Just leave it to me!" Tony retorted.

"He's right. You've done so much for us, Cia. It's time we return the favor." Steve told the sorceress.

Cia gets shocked by her friends' kindness for a moment before warmly smiling at them, "Thank you, Avengers." She said to them. "So is it time for you to say the thing? I would like to be included in it for once in my lifetime."

Steve smilingly nods at her, "Sure." He looks ahead saying while holding his shield, "Avengers…" He strikes his shield to the sky, posing while shouting, "ASSEMBLE!" with his team striking their own dramatic poses as they are ready to stop the Syndicate once and for all.

KFX Here: The final chapters are coming! The Avengers, Nick Fury, and Cia are going to invade Chronoa to stop the Syndicate's master plan. The Avengers will be sporting new Stark Tech Suits for the remainder of this story that were teased back at Issue 9: Spider-Man is wearing armor based off the armored suit featured in the "Omega Flight Trailer" from the upcoming Marvel Future Revolution mobile game. Wolverine is wearing a suit based off the "Ablation Armor" from the comics during the "All-New Marvel NOW!" event. Tails is wearing armor inspired by the "Terachnoid Armor" from Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus. Ruby's armor is just an armored variant of her Atlas outfit. And the remaining Avengers are wearing armored based off the Stark Tech Suits from Marvel's Avengers (video game).

Announcement: Starting soon, I am going to open a Patr(e)on account! Writing these fanfics have been really fun and you all have been such amazing fans over the years. Since it's a new year, I want to expand. Further improve this series with more direct help from all of you. I won't ask for much (I am not greedy), and I will do my best to repay you.
