Eda was watching the Coven guards change when she saw it. After almost a week of spying, she found a way in.

"There it is."

There was a tunnel that was under the castle, not guarded. They would have four minutes during the next rotation and then they could sneak in.

"Luz, I found our way in. We just have to wait for the next rotation."

Four days of waiting finally paying off. They just have to wait one more hour. Inside the castle, Lilith was walking down the corridor. Her father removed the curse from her and everything was going to plan. She just had to wait for them to sneak into the castle. Of course, they decided to wait for the Day of Unity, so Belos would be unprepared. It was a risky move, but it was the best option.

"Princess."

Lilith turned around and saw Kikimora.

"Yes, Kikimora?"

"The Emperor request your presence in the throne room, immediately."

"I see, thank you Kiki."

Lilith walked to the throne room and saw her father.

"You requested me, Father?"

"Yes, as you may know, this afternoon, the barrier between the dimensions will be weakened and we shall conquer the Human Realm."

"Yes, I am aware that the time is quickly approaching. Is that why you called me here?"

"In a way. I fear your sister and that human pest of her's may try and stop us. I wish for you to be at the portal with me in case they attempt something."

"If that is what you wish, then I shall be in there with you, Father."

"Good, go get ready. The Day of Unity will commence in less than two hours."

"Understood." Lilith said.

She bowed her head and left. If everything goes well then there will be a new Emperor by tomorrow. If something goes wrong, then a war starts, and that's best case scenario. Outside, the guard rotation was taking place.

"Okay, Birthday Girl, it's time to move." Eda said.

They got on Eda's staff and flew to the tunnel. They quickly went inside and started walking down it.

"So, where does this go?" Luz asked.

Eda looked around.

"If I remember what my mother told me, this is an old aqueduct. It was used during the castle's construction and for a while after it was built. Before there was a field of spikes down in the pit, it was a vast moat. This tunnel was used to get water throughout the castle. Meaning that the closest area we can get out is... there!"

Eda pointed at a metal grate and raised it a small bit.

"Good, no one's here. You ready Luz?"

"As ready as I'll ever be."
