First Kiss

Clumsy shut his eyes close, waiting for the impact. But just before it hit him, Fire Mist blew fire at it, making it explode before it hit Clumsy. Clumsy jumped up, pumping his fist, cheering.

"Yeah! Go, Stormy!" He yelled. Gargamel was mad that he didn't hit the smurf. He looked up and saw Smurfstorm riding on a dragonfly. He threw the explosive balls at her. She saw it and dodged the best she can. While doing so, he dropped the bag Smurfwillow and Papa Smurf was in. Smurfstorm started leading them away, making Gargamel and his lackeys follow her.

Smurfblossom and Smurfette made it in time to see the explosive ball explode before it hit Clumsy. Gargamel started throwing explosive balls at Storm, they took it as their cue to take the boys away when she yelled, "Get to the exit!"

Smurfette and Smurfblossom nodded. Smurfette looked around and saw a small, unused turtle shell that was hollow. She jumped off Bucky, making Blossom confused, "Smurfette! Where are you going?"

Smurfette answered her by tying two vines onto the shell and tying the other ends on Snowy and Bucky. "Now, let's go get the boys!"

They ran up to the boys and said, "Hop on!"

The boys had no say in it as the animals lifted them up onto the shell.

"What about Papa and Willow?" Hefty said

Smurfette looked around for the bag Gargamel put them in, "There they are." Smurfette and Hefty opened the bag Papa and Willow were in and got them out. "Come on, we need to get out of here."

"Then, there's no time to lose," Papa yelled

"Let's go!" Willow added

They got on the shell and Snowy and Bucky got moving. Clumsy was looking back at Smurfstorm leading Gargamel and his animals away from them. He couldn't leave her, not without knowing she'll be safe.

He took a deep breath and jumped off. Everyone on the shell looked back at him, running towards Smurfstorm. "Clumsy!" Clumsy ignored their yells for him to come back and ran towards Smurfstorm.

Smurfstorm, on the other hand, was running towards a chasm that was surrounded by trees and vines around and over it. She was running from Gargamel and his lackeys, dodging his attacks. She was doing well until he threw an explosive ball right at her, making her have to jump off Fire Mist and onto a vine.

"Fire Mist, go!" She yelled as she started running from vine to branch to vine. Fire Mist didn't waste a second and flew out of the Forbidden Forest to the others. Azrael was just beside Gargamel as he couldn't do anything because Smurfstorm was swinging on vines. Monty was the one striking in the air, but he had bad aim and missed every single time. Gargamel was throwing explosive balls at her, though most of the time he missed.

As they made it out, Smurfette and Smurfblossom looked back and saw that Clumsy was gone, "Where's Clumsy?"

Just then Fire Mist flew towards them, making Smurfblossom add, "And where's Smurfstorm?"

Fire Mist then made whimper noises towards the Forbidden Forest. Signaling that they're both still inside with Gargamel. They knew they had to do something. Smurfette thought hard about what to do, she then got an idea.

She kept running until she reached a dead end on the vines. She gasped and looked at Gargamel in fear. He looked at her with an evil grin and said, "There's nowhere to run, now. Bye-bye."

He threw the explosive ball and shut her eyes. That was until she heard something.

"Incoming!" Clumsy yelled as he swung on a vine. He held his hand out and she grabbed it. He swung her to the highest branch and grabbed her hand so that they'd both be swung to it. They both made it on the branch and they hugged each other, but Gargamel could still reach them.

Gargamel laughed, "I got you, now." He reached for another explosive ball, but he found none, "No!" He growled in annoyance.

"Yeah!"

"Woohoo! Take that, Gargamel!"

Gargamel looked around and realized that he could rip the vines and they would fall off the branch they were on. He smiled, "Monty, cut the vines!"

When the two lovers heard that, they froze and looked down at him. Monty screeched while nodding and he started flying and cutting all the vines with his beak. They knew that they might meet their doom soon, so while they still had time, Smurfstorm asked Clumsy something.

"Why'd you come back for me?" Smurfstorm asked

Clumsy looked surprised at why she asked, "What do you mean? I'd never leave you behind" He answered, "Not without knowing you'll be safe."

Smurfstorm smiled, but then frowned and lifted her hand while asking, "Permission to slap you for doing such a dumb thing for a good reason?" He sighed and nodded. She slapped him and added, "Because what you did was suicide. Now, we're both gonna die."

They both yelped as the branch they were on started to fall because it couldn't support their weight much longer. As they knew this might be their final moment before falling into the abyss underneath them, they wanted to say some final words to each other.

"Clumsy. Wait, wait." He looked at her, "I just wanted you to know that if we're going to kick the bucket soon, I'm glad I met you." They both smiled.

"I'm really glad I met you too. You're the most awesome, brave-" Clumsy accidentally tripped and fell off, but thankfully Storm caught him and swung him back on before he fell.

"Go on." She said. He smiled

"You're the most awesome, brave, and extraordinary girl I've ever met." He took her hands in his and they touched their foreheads together. But the moment was short lasted as another vine got cut, making the branch go down further.

A vine was close enough for Gargamel to grab it. He grabbed it and started pulling it towards him, "Blegh. All this mush is gonna kill me. It ends here." Clumsy and Smurfsotrm held hands and closed their eyes, waiting for Gargamel to do take them. They opened their eyes and just before Gargamel could grab them, he screamed in pain, "Ow! Who threw that?"

He was holding a sharp wooden spear that was thrown at him. Smurfblossom then threw another spear while shouting, "Charge!"

Brainy, Smurfblossom, Smurfette, Hefty, Smurfwillow, and Papa Smurf started throwing their wooden spears at him.

"Woo! Go Team Smurf!"

"Whoo!"

"Ahh! Azrael! Do something." He shouted while avoiding the spears, and as soon as they ran out of spears, Azrael and Monty charged at them.

They ran inside a small cave as that was the only place that was close enough for them to run to, "Smurf this way everyone!"

The cave was too small for Azrael, Monty, and Gargamel to reach. So, Azrael and Monty started using their claws to try to reach them. All the smurfs inside started screaming. Smurfblossom was holding Brainy close in fear. Hefty was in front of Smurfette to protect her. And Papa and Willow were in front of the younger smurfs to protect them.

Smurfstorm and Clumsy were watching Gargamel, Azrael, and Monty trying to reach for their friends and family.

"What are we going to do?" Clumsy asked, panicked

Smurfstorm looked around and saw a branch that was right above Gargamel and his lackeys. She then thought if they could break it, the branch would swing towards Gargamel and make him fall into the abyss.

"Okay, I know how to save them. Just follow me, Clumsy." She jumped and swung on a vine, she let go and landed on a branch, "Come on Clumsy. You can do it."

Clumsy was unsure of himself, but lives were at stake here, "No time for this, Clumsy." He said to himself. He took a deep breath and jumped. He grabbed the vine and swung, he landed on the branch but slipped. But luckily, Smurfstorm caught him before he could fall.

"Told you, you could do it." She said, "This way." Smurfstorm led Clumsy to the branch right above Gargamel, "If we can break this branch, it can hit Gargamel into the abyss." Clumsy smiled at the idea and nodded.

"I like the way you think." Clumsy smirked and she smirked back.

They started jumping, hitting, and kicking the branch to crack it. It was starting to break, but it wouldn't be fast enough to save their friends. "This isn't going to break in time." Clumsy yelled. Smurfstorm stopped, but Clumsy kept going. Smurfstorm paused, but then remembered she still had the wand with her.

She took it from her back and got an idea, "Hey!"

Clumsy stopped and was confused, but then understood what she meant, "Hey!"

Clumsy grabbed one end and Smurfstorm grabbed the other end. They started pushing each end towards each other. They pushed with all their might and it broke in two. Clumsy and Smurfstorm took one part of the wand each, and started using the pointy end to break the branch.

Gargamel and his animals were getting close to grabbing their friends, so they sped up the process. They lifted the wand one more time and hit it hard to the branch. The branch started cracking itself and they both smiled.

Just before it broke, Smurfstorm grabbed on a vine beside them and Clumsy jumped from the branch and onto her lap. As the branch was coming down, Clumsy and Smurfstorm both yelled, "Incoming!"

Gargamel, Azrael, and Monty looked up and saw the branch coming down towards them. He hugged his two pets and said, "I love you two!" They screamed as the branch hit them, and sent them flying towards the abyss. Smurfstorm and Clumsy were surprised and happy that it worked.

"Wow. I can't believe that actually worked-" Smurfstorm smiled and kissed him on the lips, cutting him off of his sentence. Clumsy was caught off guard, but then used his free hand to cup her cheek. The others came out of the cave in time to see Smurfstorm kiss Clumsy, and they all cheered.

They broke out of their kiss and touched their foreheads together while coming down to the others. They both let go of the vine and walked towards the others. Clumsy ran towards his brothers and hugged them. Smurfblossom and Smurfette ran towards Storm and hugged her.

"I thought we were goners."

They broke out of the hug and Smurfwillow and Papa came towards the two smurfs, smiling. But the moment was short lasted as Monty came up from the chasm. Screeching as he grabbed Smurfstorm and flew towards the center of the hole. But before he could do that, Clumsy, Smurfwillow, Papa, Brainy, Smurfblossom, Smurfette, and Hefty made a smurf chain while holding onto Smurfstorm. So, that Monty couldn't drop her into the hole.

"Smurfstorm!"

Smurfstorm looked frightened, but then had a sly look on her face as she said, "You know what? Two thin vines can't support the weight of that branch much longer."

Monty stopped looking furious and looked up to see the huge branch falling down to him. His pupils shrunk and he fell back down to the hole, for the second time. But due to being shocked, he accidentally let go of Smurfstorm and fell into the hole.

Everyone smiled and cheered for defeating the villains.

"Yeah!"

"We just did that!"

"Take that, Gargamel!"

"Haha! We did it!"

Hefty started pulling everyone back up and came in for a group hug. Smurfstorm and Clumsy remembered that they dropped the wand when they had to swing on the vine and showed it to Papa.

"Sorry, we had to break it, Papa." Clumsy said

Papa chuckled and said, "Oh, Clumsy. I would have broke in it two as well." He took the two pieces and threw them into the abyss, "Now, to get rid of this."

So, everyone got home safely and things got back to normal. And Gargamel, he's alive and he went home to his lair to cook up a new plan that won't be done in a long time.

And as for the 3 main lovers? Things got even better for them soon.
