Cute, not sexy.

Funny enough, despite the fact that Lala had an insanely sexy body and could sometimes act slightly sexy, the way she acted made her seem far more cute than it sexy. She just had a naturally cute personality, with some underlying seductive tendencies that were only granted to her because of her seductive body. If you gave her seductive and teasing tendencies to a girl only half as hot as her, those girls wouldn't actually come off as all that sexy.

Lala stayed up ALL night.

Why?

-4 Days Before Date-

"What are you doing Lala?" Naruto asked the girl, who was sitting on the floor to his... their room while using her onni-tool to work on some inventions of her. Her tail had not stopped wagging since she knew that they would be going on a date, and despite the fact that Naruto had been able to sleep no problem with her working through the night, Lala looked like she hadn't managed to sleep at all.

Though, she was still energetic, she just seemed slightly tired.

"I couldn't sleep at all, I'm super excited for our date! I thought I would work on some stuff, some of my inventions I hadn't finished or needed some tune ups." Lala stated as she went back to working on her inventions. Peke was sleeping on the bed that Naruto had build for the little clothing robot, he used some wood and a dog bed for a dog they used to have, and created a minature bed that looked like it could be used for a person.

Naruto was already sharing his bed with Lala, he didn't need to share it with a small child sized robot. Naruto yawned as he got out of his bed and he put put his jacket on and some pants, Naruto gave Lala a flick to the back of her head.

"Well, school is in a couple hours, so I'm going on a run." Naruto told her simply, walking out the door. "... Did you always wear glasses?" Naruto asked as he looked at Lala with some confusion, she was wearing glasses with a small dial on the side of them. She looked at her devices with more certainty as she worked on them.

"Oh, these are Suke-Suke Goggle-kun, they me have X-ray vision, and you can adjust it. See you when you get back!" Lala happily waved at him. She looked around the room when Naruto closed the door, because after saying what her invention did, she realized that she could use her invention to look for some of Naruto's secrets.

Nah, that didn't sound fun to her, half of the fun was in looking for them. If she could easily see where they were, she wouldn't have the fun of pranking Naruto with little surprises. Lala smiled to herself as she grabbed four small cubes. She walked to Naruto's closet and moved his clothes aside, before she jumped up and placed two of the cutes at the top corners of the closet, and she kneeled down to place two more at the bottom.

Space Distortion

A door appeared in the back of the closet, and she opened it up now that she was finished. She smiled to herself when looking in the door, she saw that there was a very large room waiting for her. She grabbed her D-Dial and she started to press buttons on it, and large machines and work equipment came out of it.

She created a spacial disturbance so that she could work on her larger inventions, since Naruto's room wasn't big enough for that. Similar to how she had a spacial distortion in her phone that stored her inventions, she applied the same technology to the house so that she could create a seperate, smaller house inside of the house that would act as her personal laboratory. That way she could do some serious work on her larger inventions without actually disturbing anyone else.

When she was done situating everything in the room, Lala left her lab and came back into Naruto's room through the closet.

She plopped herself right back down on the floor and begun working on her earlier inventions.

-3 Days Until Date-

Lala was still super excited, but she was slightly ragged in appearance now. She tried to sleep, but in the end she kept tossing and turning in bed all night as she tried to imagine what the date would be like. She wanted so badly to wake Naruto up and ask him for details, but he was so soundly asleep that she couldn't do that to him.

So she spent the night in and out of sleep, what sleep she did get was not that restful, but not being well rested aside, she was still doing fine.

"Want to skip school today and sleep?" Naruto asked Lala as they walked into the school gates together. Haruna had come to their house and picked Rito up, the couple walking together in the mornings was now becoming something of a normal the passed few days. "I'll cover for you with the teachers." Naruto offered.

She looked really tired.

"No! I don't wanna, I need to come to school, since it's fun too." Lala shook her head, and Naruto looked at the bags under her eyes. He gave her a suspicious look, and she just grinned at him in response.

*Flick*

"Just don't push it, get some sleep or I'll make you sleep instead of going on a date." Naruto stated to Lala after flicking her. Her health was always going to be more important than going on a date. Also, Naruto wasn't going to tell her days in advance anymore that they were going on dates if she was always going to get like this.

From now on, for sure, he was going to surprise her with dates instead, or plan dates and NOT call them that so Lala didn't keep herself away waiting for them.

"... Okay..." Lala pointed.

-That Night: 3 Days Before Date-

'It's 11 at night, and she still isn't asleep.' Naruto looked at his alarm clock. He could feel Lala shifting in the bed next to him, trying to force herself to sleep. It seemed the harder she tried to sleep, the more she kept herself wide awake. The second she got herself to actually fall asleep, she would wake herself up by accident minutes later.

Lala was grunting in annoyance, cutely of course, but Naruto had stayed awake without letting her know to make sure that she could fall asleep.

"Mmm... MMM..."

Naruto didn't really get why she was having so much trouble sleeping, she was a pretty deep sleeper when she wanted to be. He would guess that it was being on a new planet and getting used to it, maybe a different day and night cycle from what she was used to, but she had been on Earth for almost a week now.

Naruto took a deep breath.

Lala's eyes relaxed slightly when she heard something soft and musical register to her ears. Lala opened her eyes and looked at Naruto, but she saw him sleeping on his side next to her. The musical hum that started to fill the room with a pleasantness. Lala smiled to herself as she grabbed onto Naruto, and she pulled him even closer to herself. She didn't know what was going on, but she wanted to hug Naruto without waking him up.

The humming stopped, only to quickly be replaced by soft words.

If Lala were awake, she would be able to understand the words, but they were so soft on her ears that she didn't know what words were being said. Still, the tone the song was sung with was smooth and calming. The lyrics were melodic, and the voice that sung the words sounded both feminine and masculine at the same time. It was extremely hard for her to tell at this point, all she knew was that she relaxed into the bed without any troubles as her eyes closed.

Lala was out.

-Morning: 2 Days Until Date-

"Sleepless night?" Mikan asked Naruto as she saw him yawn as he turned on the news, and ate breakfast at the couch. He had already gotten back from his run, and he had yawned a good 6 times since he had started eating.

"I'll take a hot shower after eating, that will fix me up." Naruto stated with another yawn.

"Morning everyone." Rito stated as he came down the stairs, already in uniform. He had his school bag ready and everything. Haruna was going to be there any minute now, so he had to make sure that he woke up and got ready as soon as he could.

Mikan could smell something.

"... Is that..." Mikan could smell a rather pleasant, artificial scent coming from Rito as if he had sprayed himself with something. She put her hand in front of her mouth, and giggled since she understood what he had done. Rito wanted to make himself smell nice for Haruna, so he had got a new deodorant that had a stronger scent to it.

"Morning!" Lala JUMPED the entire way down the stairs, with Peke in clip form on her head, already in uniform as well. She had more energy than before, and she had gotten the best night of sleep of her entire life. She did a spin after landing, and struck a pose, before she entered the living room with pep to her step. "All of you won't believe it, but last night I heard this really beautiful singing! I think somebody left the TV on, but whatever it was, it put me right to sleep!" Lala was happy to exclaim.

Naruto's face turned bright red.

"Singing, from the TV... but..." Rito had been up watching late night anime the night before, so the TV hadn't been set to that channel. He had also made sure to turn the TV off, and the only TV in the house was the one in the living room. Rito looked at Mikan, who had her gaze firmly set on Naruto.

Naruto refused to look at either Mikan or Rito.

"... and what did this singing sound like?" Mikan asked as she stared at Naruto.

Their mother had always told all of them about how Naruto's biological mother had made a living for awhile as a singing idol. Naruto knew ALL of her songs by heart, and the only person in the house that was GOOD at singing was indeed Naruto. Rito couldn't sing to save his life, and she wasn't able to sing anything but pop songs with her voice. Her singing voice was cute, but it couldn't be described as beautiful.

"Kind of like a tomboyish girl, or a girlish guy. It was super hard to tell, but it really put me right to sleep and kept me asleep." Lala exclaimed proudly for some reason.

Why the pride?

Naruto just turned a darker red when Lala spoke, and he held his breath as he refused to make eye contact with anyone. Rito blinked, and his eyes widened for a moment, before he stared at Naruto with some surprise.

'... but Naruto stopped singing when the guys at school teased him for it. I haven't heard him sing in years. He doesn't even sing when we ask him to sing, or when we all go out for karoke.' Rito was just shocked by the revelation. Naruto seemed like he hadn't gotten any sleep as well, meaning he had been singing to Lala nearly all night.

Naruto got bullied when they were all younger, though he also did beat up his bullies, because his his face and his singing voice. They had all seen pictures of his biological mother, and Naruto had inherited her pretty face. Usually people didn't notice how pretty his face was, because of his short spiky hair and how muscular his body was. People only noticed how pretty he was anymore when Naruto's hair was wet and stopped being spiky.

Naruto hated the teasing so much he stopped singing.

Mikan could embarass Naruto right now.

"... Well, that's mysterious." Mikan stated as she didn't even need a second to decide not to say anything more on the subject. It was one thing to tease Naruto about something that didn't mean anything, or didn't ACTUALLY bother him. Even when it came to ghosts, Naruto got more passionate about his fear and would defend himself. This might be one of the only subjects that could actually hurt him on an emotional level though.

Naruto seemed to relax a little when Mikan didn't say anything, and his face only now started to lose some of the red color.

"I can't wait for our date, after sleeping, I'm feeling a lot less anxious. I think I'll be able to sleep tonight, whatever that singing was, it really helped me." Lala jumped onto the couch and hugged Naruto.

Did she know it was his singing? No.

Lala just liked having physical contact with Naruto was all.
