It wasn't long before the group materialized into a large city.
"Looks like we're back in the real world. I can feel the difference." Ryu said.
"But if that's the case...why are we still here? Stuck in our avatars?" Kite said.
"Hmm...I doubt this is just some technical glitch. But we got other matters...we're missing half our group." Law said.
"Actually, we're okay. We're just on the other side of this wall." Jexi called out from the other side of a large metal wall.
"A defensive wall?" Ty asked. "Guess it's supposed to keep something out."
"Oh...look." Erica said looking at a large building.
"It's the Imperial Theatre. The real mccoy!" Gemini said.
"Oh, so we're in your world now." Theo said.
"Aura said she'd bring us to Ginza, but...she never stated which one." Naomi said.
"So we ended up in the Steam Universe's version then." Tsuki said.
"Yep. We're basically in the past." Elena said.
"Oh...and it seems we got some pests on the other side." Xiaomu said, seeing a number of strange winged creatures on the other side of the wall.
"The Kouma! They are our enemies. But they were supposed to have been wiped out. Least we're safe on this side." Erica said.
"We're not!" Zephyr called out referring to the other group on the other side.
"This is the last thing we need." Rutee added.
"Uh...and we're not exactly safe either." Frank said as the strange monsters appeared on their side of the wall with a woman with long pink hair leading them.
"To jump from a computer world to here, I never would have expected that." she said.
"Hmm?" Saki said.
"That ring...who are you? You related to the portal stone?" Mark asked.
"I see...you've met the Belanos Brothers so that makes sense. I am Due. Due Flabellum of Oros Phlox." she said. "And yes, we are the ones who stole the stone."
"Just what is your end goal?" Aya said. "You already have the Portal Stone, why are your goons now after Mii?"
"We are just seeking to merge the worlds is all." Due said.
"Are you intending to repeat history just as Ouma did?" Leon said.
"Repeat history...wow...you know how to say the stupidest things, don't you? That's cute." Due said. "This is all just in accordance with a simple wish."
"Okay...how do we get these walls down?" Naomi asked.
"There's a switch inside the theatre that controls the barricades." Erica said.
"We'll just have to cull their numbers while we make for the switch." Siege said.
"Allow me to make things easier." Tsuki said. "Crescent Harken." she said, bewitching some of the Kouma with the mysterious power of the moon into attacking themselves. "Ah!" she said being attacked from behind.
"Tsuki!" Corona said.
"Oh...so sorry...was she yours?" a voice said as the Spirit Force members looked up to see Gardle on the rooftops.
"Gardle!" Aya said.
"So we were right...you are involved in this." Saki said.
"Such evil. I've never felt anything like this before other than Galdera." Ophilia said.
"Why are you here? We thought you vanished for good!" Saki said.
"I was given a second chance by fate. Before my ungrateful creation sent me to hell, a rift opened in front of me and sent me to the Lost Universe. I saw it all unfold. The rift's formation...it was beautiful." Gardle said. "I knew...it was a sign. A new world order is to be born!"
"There's no way we'll let that happen!" Stahn said.
"You can't stop what's already started." Gardle said. "Now...Spirit Force...die out for me." he said.
"Not so fast!" a couple of voices called out as the barricade was lowered as emerging was a man and a woman in a kimono wielding a sword.
"It's Ogami and Shinguji!" Erica said.
"We were wondering what was going on out here." Ichiro said.
"So we decided to come out and see. So the Kouma have returned." Sakura said.
"So you have two reinforcements. I'm not afraid. I have reinforcements of my own." Gardle said as more Kouma arrived with a woman in black with large wings leading them.
"Hahaha...it's been a long time...Ichiro Ogami." she said.
"Ayame?" Ichiro said.
"Ayame is dead. I am Aya-me! The strongest Kouma born under the red moon." she said.
"Is this Ayame Fujieda?" Erica said.
"This can't be. She was killed...twice." Ichiro said.
"You never know what will happen in this world." Aya-me said.
"She speaks the truth. In this great collision of worlds, anything is possible." Gardle said.
"Where's Lei?" Aya asked.
"I don't have her with me at the very moment." Gardle said. "Maybe she went and died somewhere in this new world."
"You're lying! Give her BACK!" Saki said, jumping at Gardle. But Gardle teleported away as Saki missed.
"All brawn, no brains." Gardle said.
"Answer us this...the one responsible for this mess...was it you?" Rutee demanded.
"No...it was not me." Gardle said.
"It's obvious that it wasn't him. He already mentioned being saved from the verge of death." Cheetah said.
"You just never know with these guys." Corona said.
"Hmm...now...I must bid you all…" Gardle said as he was struck with lightning. "Ah! What? Who…"
"So...you are part of what is happening." a voice said as floating above him was a strange looking creature.
"Tapu Koko." Jexi said.
"Hoi. It's been a while." Tapu Koko said. "I don't normally stray this far from Alola...but this chaos...I had to take action."
"One of the Guardians of Alola, hmm? No matter, it is only a matter of time." Gardle said before warping away.
"What about the others? Are they doing okay?" Dynasmon asked.
"Don't worry. Lele and the others are fine. They're busy protecting the Pokémon of Alola. I'm the only one who normally strays from the islands to start with." Tapu Koko said.
"We seem to have an abundance of enemies and allies alike. All right...I know what needs to be done." Ichiro said switching to his commander uniform.
Chapter 9
Justice Over Evil
"How brave of them. Try not to have too much fun, Aya-me." Due said.
"I won't. Assuming I can hold myself back." Aya-me said.
"She's from the Makai realm. She's not going to go down easily." Morrigan said.
"Then please allow my light magic to help defeat the Kouma." Ophilia said.
"Hope you don't mind us getting some action, too." Elena said.
"I'd be honored." Ophilia said.
"Ogami, I know how you feel, but I want you to allow us to fight Aya-me. Don't worry. You'll have plenty of chances to reach her." Elena said.
"All right." Ichiro said. "If you must."
Battle Start:
"D-don't come any closer, girl! Your staff haunts me so…" Anastasia said.
"Um...did I do something wrong?" Ophilia asked.
"It's not you. Demons just can't stand light magic." Elena said.
Ready...Fight!
Elena and Anastasia fought Aya-me with a combination of demon magic and a mix of Sasuke's techniques, before calling in Ophilia.
"Prepare yourself!" Ophilia called, summoning small meteors and casting powerful light magic that hit three times before raising her staff high into the sky. "Aelfric, bringer of the Flame!" she called as a large pillar of light struck Aya-me before she pulled back.
Special Attack: Chidori & Magma Pillar
The two agents closed in on Aya-me, nailing in a multitude of strikes before she was sent to Anastasia.
"I can be quite serious when I want to be." Anastasia said with a wink as she dealt several claw strikes before unleashing a pillar of magma which sent her flying, landing near Elena.
"Target in sight. Moving in!" Elena said, activating her Sharingan as she charges lightning in her palm, before rushing at Aya-me as she went right through her.
"Chidori!"
The attack caused Aya-me to explode in a burst of lightning.
K.O.!
End Battle:
"Your light magic is quite impressive, Ophilia. You're an asset to any battle." Elena said.
"Well, I may not be much of a fighter, I will gladly help you all anyway I can." Ophilia said.
"I guess I can tolerate that kind of stuff happening around me, if it will help us." Anastasia said.
Aya-me recovered in the air and she held her stomach. "...Guess I'm not quite used to this body yet." she said.
"Ayame...are you really not her?" Ichiro asked.
"I am not her. I am Aya-me. I am a Kouma born to make a demon-laden world. This battle has only just begun." Aya-me said as she took off into the sky.
"I'll get through to you somehow...Ayame." Ichiro said.
"All that leaves is the one known as Due." Tapu Koko said.
"We'll back you up, don't worry." Ken said.
Battle Start:
"My former leader's Pokémon tend to use moves based on the two of you." Tapu Koko said.
"Really now? Then I guess he recommended the Ken Masters Online Karate Class." Ken said.
"Ken...lest you forget, our style was originally used for assassination." Ryu said.
Ready….Fight!
Ryu and Ken combined their mastery of their master's style to deal some lasting hits on Due before calling in Tapu Koko.
"Time for battle!"
Tapu Koko rammed at Due as he soon mixed his moves with lightning based attacks before a lightning bolt hit him.
"Face the wrath of a Guardian of Alola!"
Tapu Koko rammed into Due, causing electricity to flow through her body, leaving her open for Ryu and Ken's attack.
Special Attack: Metsu Hadoken & Shinryuken
Ryu started off the attack by firing a Hadoken at super close range to Due, which Ken followed up with by a series of Shoryukens from Ken before he set up for a trademark version of his.
"Ryu, the last blow's yours!"
Ken then spiraled up into the air with Due in a spinning, flaming shoryuken, with which Ryu caught Due on the way down with a Tatsumaki Senpukyau before charging up another Hadoken.
"I'm betting it all on this. Metsu...Hadoken!" Ryu said, firing a blast of energy at Due.
K.O.!
End Battle:
"Fighting alongside legends like you makes me feel alive inside, like my fighting spirit is rejuvenated." Tapu Koko said.
"I have that effect on some people." Ken said.
"We should fight each other some time." Ryu said.
"My...seems this is my defeat. Until next time." Due said as she fled.
"Hmm...that's done. So...from what I understand...all of you are from different worlds and time periods." Ichiro said.
"More or less, yes." Belladonna said.
"Well, you helped us out today. We'll devote all our resources to helping all of you." Ichiro said.
"Glad to hear. Thank you very much, commander." Reiji said.
"Now...into the theatre. No tickets necessary." Ichiro said as they headed inside.
