WWE SmackDown was live at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario. In a shocking revelation, Undertaker admitted that he lied about not knowing Tracy, the woman who claimed last week to be having an affair with the Deadman. 'Taker stated that he knew Tracy, but insisted that it was years before he and his wife Sara even met. Tracy begged to differ, and let SmackDown! General Manager Stephanie McMahon know it, swearing that she and Undertaker had been together as recently as ten days earlier!

Tracy was accompanied by WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and his agent Paul Heyman, who had their own axe to grind. Lesnar and Heyman demanded that Stephanie prohibit Taker from wearing his cast during his upcoming Hell in the Cell match with Lesnar at No Mercy. Intent on exacting vengeance upon Lesnar and Heyman-who broke 'Taker's hand in the first place-the American Bad Ass unleashed an unspeakable fury, bloodying both the champion and his agent with the cast. Despite that, Stephanie affirmed that 'Taker would be permitted to wear the cast into the Cell on Sunday.

In the first match of the night, Edge's theme hits to a pop from the fans and out comes the man who teams with the Bladewolf in this tournament for the WWE Tag Team Championships at No Mercy.

"And here comes Edge." Michael Cole said as Edge starts heading down towards the ring. "Tonight, he and Bladewolf team up together once again to advance through the WWE Tag Team Title tournament. If they win tonight, they advance to the finals at No mercy this Sunday."

"Edge and Bladewolf are a team that have potential to be great Tag Team Champions." Tazz said. "I mean, Bladewolf is a 6-time Tag Team Champion, Edge has been tag Team Champion 8 times. These two are great tag team champions and have the chance to put their teamwork skills to good use here tonight, and use them at No mercy to become the first ever WWE Tag Team Champions."

"Bladewolf and Edge have won the World Tag Team Titles several times over the course of their careers. Edge with Christian seven times and one time with Hulk Hogan, Bladewolf won them twice with his brother the Undertaker, once with his other brother Kane, and three times as part of the Wolfpack with Jackal." Cole said.

"We may be seeing one of the best tag teams around." Tazz points out.

Edge slides into the ring and takes his jacket off as his theme dies down.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

'Oh, ah, ah, ah, ah! Get up, come on get down with the sickness!'

Down with the Sickness plays to a loud pop and out comes the Bladewolf. He pauses on the stage and looks around at the fans before he begins making his way to the ring. He climbs onto the ring apron and enters the ring, fist bumping Edge before he takes off his trench coat and tosses it out of the ring as his theme dies down.

Reverend D-Von's theme hits and out comes D-Von and Ron Simmons who will be facing the duo of Edge and Bladewolf in this round of the semi-finals.

Once both men were in the ring and D-Von's theme dies down, Edge gets out onto the ring apron as does Ron Simmons, showing Bladewolf and D-Von will start off.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

"Matchup underway and it's Bladewolf and D-Von starting off." Cole said

Bladewolf and D-Von circled one another before they locked up but Bladewolf drives his knee into the stomach of D-Von then drops his forearm across the back of D-Von, sending him down to his knees.

"Bladewolf has had history with D-Von in the past." Cole said as Bladewolf Irish whips D-Von off the ropes and hits a clotheslines, going for the cover but D-Von kicks out. "Bladewolf has beaten D-Von when he was part of the Dudley Boyz, winning the World Tag Team Tiles at two points."

"Edge is the same." Tazz said as Bladewolf stomps on D-Von and gives the ref a glare for trying to stop it. "Edge has beaten the Dudley Boyz in the past to win some of those World Tag Team Title reigns."

Bladewolf rebounds off the ropes and nails a leg drop on D-Von befor ehe hooks the leg but D-Von kicks out and Bladewolf picks D-Von up and irish whips him into the corner befor ehe runs and goes for a turnbuckle splash only for D-Von to raise his boots and Bladewolf goes right into them, causing him to stumble back. D-Von rebounds off the ropes and nails a clothesline.

"Nice clothesline there by D-Von." Cole said.

Cole tags in Simmons and the two stomp away on Bladewolf before Simmons picks Bladewolf up when suddenly the former WWE Champion shoves Simmons' hands off then nails him with a hard right, Irish whips him off the ropes and nails a hard clothesline...THEN MAKES THE TAG TOEDGE!

"Here comes Edge!" Cole said as the crowd cheers for the hometown superstar.

Edge comes in and takes both Simmons and D-Von down. Edge picks Simmons up and hits a flapjack then both he and Bladewolf notice Simmons getting to his feet and nod before they run...AND HIT A DOUBLE SPEAR!

"Double Spears!" Tazz shouted.

Edge hooks the legs! ONE! TWO! THREE! THE BLADEWOLF AND EDGE WIN!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Edge's theme plays as the duo celebrate their victory tonight.

"Edge and Bladewolf advance to No Mercy." Tazz said.

Suddenly...THEY ARE ATTACKED FROM BEHIND BY EDDIE AND CHAVO GUERRERO! They send Bladewolf out the ring and Eddie...HITS THE FROG SPLASH ON EDGE! Los Guerreros celebrate their attack and leave the ring as the duo recover.
