Chapter Twelve: Lunch With Calleigh
Ryan awakes a couple of hours later and decides to get ready for work. Before he could get out of bed, Natalia pulls him closer to her and asks, "Where are you going?" Ryan responds, "I've got to get ready for work." Natalia tells him, "Okay. I'm going to get some more sleep and I'm meeting Calleigh for lunch. Both of us has today off," then she kisses him and lets him go to get ready for work. An hour and a half later, Natalia awakes and gets ready for the day. She makes oatmeal for breakfast and watches some television. When it's almost time to go meet Calleigh for lunch, she locks up and leaves.
They have lunch at the Bocas House Restaurant. "Eric and I decided to have the wedding in six months. I want you to be my maid of honor. My cousins from Texas will be my bridesmaids. Eric has asked H to be his best man and Ryan, Walter and Kyle are his groomsmen," says Calleigh. Then she asks, "How are you and Ryan doing?" Natalia replies, "We're doing great. He asked me to move in together. We're discussing it in detail later." "I'll contact my cousins later so we can plan a date for getting our dresses." After lunch, they decided to visit some flower shops, bakeries, and caterers. Calleigh tells Natalia, "We'll look, and I'll make notes of what is accessible, then I'll share it with Eric so we can decide together." "That's a good idea," says Natalia.
While they are checking out these places, Calleigh tells Natalia about her cousins from Texas. They are from her father's side of the family. Her father and their mother are siblings. "There's Angela, Anastasia, Alexis, Michael, Margaret, Mariann and Nick. Nick works at the Vegas Crime Lab. The girls and Michael are all married but Nick's not. It's been a while since we've all seen each other." When they are done, Calleigh heads home and Natalia goes back to Ryan's place. It's after three in the afternoon when Natalia gets to Ryan's place and she decides to shower, then take a nap. Three hours later, she awakes to Ryan coming out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist. She sleepily says, "Hey Ryan." "Hey Talia, did I wake you?" asks Ryan. "No. My body knows it's time for dinner, so it woke me up," says Natalia as her stomach grumbles. Ryan tells her, "I ordered a pizza. It should be here in ten minutes."
