Chapter 30 Cubby wants a car

Jake's POV

The next morning Izzy ams i were the only ones up zo we decided to continue to talk a oyr Cubby's surprise birthday party while Cubby was still sleeping.

"Okay so, the music is going to be loads of pop, dance track, classics as well as newer songs." I said to her.

"And let's talks about games. So i was thinking we ahouls play is dance off, limbo, Izzy." I said to her.

" Yeah okay that's great and all Jake, but what about my outfit?" Izzy askes me.

" Izzy this is Cubby's party we're talking about, not your outfit." I said to her.

" I know, I know, but hear me out. I will be wearing a yellow dress, with brown high heels and a black glittery jacket." Izzy said to me as Cubby came downstairs with the kids.

" Morning guys, what were you talking about?" Cubby asked us.

"We were talking about bills." I said to him.

" Hey Cubby, why don't you make us breakfast." Izzy suggested to him as he left with the kids.

Cubby's POV

As I was wondering why Jake and Izzy were taking about bills.

"Baby Jay and Princess what do you think?" I asked them as they both gave me a confused look.

"Wait why am I asking you guys?" I asles myself as I started to make the waffles.

As the waffles were done cooking, I placed the on the dinnning table as Jake amd Izzy came downstairs.

"Okay Maties, start eating!" I said to them as Jake started to eat his waffles.

As we were eating breakfast, Jake and Izzy started to talk about Halloween.

"I'm going to go as a Prince." Jake saod to us.

"Well, I'm going to go as a Princess!" Izzy said to us.

"Guys, what about my birthday?" I asked them.

"We'll come up with something, just in time for your birthday." Jake said to me.

"Oh, okay." I said to him.

Laquan's POV

As I walked into Jenny's hospital room, she was texting on her phone.

"Hey, Jenny!" I said to her as she waved at me as I saw her leg suspended.

"Oh no, Jenny I, I, hate seeing you like this." I said to her as I started to cry while sitting dowm on the chair next to her as she gave me a note.

"I am going to be okay, please don't cry." I said while reading the note.

So as I was still crying, Jenny placed her hand on mine and looked at me with the I'm going go okay look but with sad eyes.

"Jenny, what's wrong?" I asked her as she gave me another note.

" I am worried about the Nationals, Laquan." I said while reading the note.

"Aww, don't worry Jenny, you'll be back on her feet in about five months." I said to her.

Jake's POV

Aa Izzy amd i wemt into Studio A, we asked Peter a question.

"Peter, can we use studio A for Cubby's surprise birthday party?" Izzy and I asked him while begging.

" All right, all right you guys can use Studio A for Cubby's surprise birthday party." Peter said to us.

"Yes!" Izzy and I said to ourselves.

"When will Cubby's party start and end?" Peter asked us.

"It will start at 5pm and end at 11pm." I said to him.

"Oh and it is on October 7th." Izzy said to him.

"Okay Jake, I want you to go to Studio A to work on your dance for the solo." Peter said to me aa I went into Studio A with Peter following me.

While I was practicing my dance routine, Peter was watching.

After I was done practicing my routine, Peter clapped his hands.

"Okay, that was good Jake, bit it could use a little more work." Peter said to me.

" Okay, I can do that Peter, thanks!" I said to him.

As I went into the cafeteria, I was getting something to drink in the vending machine. So, I decided to grab a coke, and sat down in the chair drinking it when Izzy Cubby and Princess alog with baby Jay came back with Mcdonald's!

"Did you get me anything?" I asked them as Izzy gave me my bag.

" So, is baby Jay drinking milk Iz?" I asked her while taking a bite out of my cheeseburger.

"Yes, yes he is." Izzy said to me.

"Look Daddy, I got the kids meal, and it came with a toy." Princess said to me.

"I see that." I said to her.

" I wanted a kids toy as well, but Izzy told me I can't get one." Cubby said to me disappointed.

" Izzy why did you tell him that?" I asked her.

"Because they were all out, Princess got the last toy." Izzy said to me.

"Well that makes sense." I said to myself.

" But I wanted that race car toy." Cubby said to me as he was pointing at Princess playing with a car.

" Haha, never got one." Princess said to him.

"Izzy, can you go back to McDonald's and get me another happy meal?" Cubby asked her.

" Oh so you can get a you car?" Izzy asked him.

"Yes!" Cubby said to her.

"No." Izzy said to him.

As Cubby gave Izzy the puppy dog eyes, she looked away.

"The puppy dog eyes isn't going to work on my mister I want another happy meal, so I can get a toy car." Izzy said to him.

" But I want one." Cubby said to her pleading.

"No." Izzy said t him.

"Aww man." Cubby said to himself as he pouted.

" Don't you dare do that mister, that's not how you get what you want." I said to him.

As Cubby still gave Izzy the puppy dog eyes, Izzy looks at him and gives in.

"Izzy sweetie, whatever you do, don't go back to McDonald's." I said to her as she already left.

"Don't ever do that again Cubby." I said to him while looking at him as Peter came in to the cafeteria.

"Jake, cubby, where is Izzy I need her to practice her female solo.

"Well Peter, for your information, cub by over here forced Izzy to go back to McDonald's just so he can get a toy car.

"Well, when she gets back, tell her to meet me in Studio A." Peter said to me.

" Okay Peter, I will." I said to him as he left.

After if you don't left, I looked at Cubby.

"You've already wasted izzy's your studio time." I said to him.

" Sorry, but I need that toy car." Cubby said to me as I rolled my eyes.

Jenny's POV

As I was still on my bed, I asked Laquan a question.

"Can you go get the nurse, so I can go to the restroom?" I asked him.

"Sure!" Laquan said to me as he went to go get the nurse.

After Laquan got the nurse she told him that I got a ca
