"We need spirit animal power now!" All of the rangers called and called out to their own animals and the new power.
"Blue Lion! Spirit Animal Power!" Robby called. A new lion-zord made it's way through the streets as it roared.
"Pink Swan! Spirit Animal Power!" Sierra called. Her new zord was a swan with it flying over water and into the city.
"White Shark! Spirit Animal Power!" David called. His new zord was a great white shark that emerged out of the water and took to the air.
"Green Owl! Spirit Animal Power!" Valerie called. The new owl-zord flew down and through the buildings.
"Black Monkey! Spirit Animal Power!" Joey called. The new monkey-zord jumped around on the rooftops.
"Yellow Jaguar! Spirit Animal Power!" Abby called. Her new zord was a jagura running and roaring through the city's streets.
"Red Eagle! Spirit Animal Power!" Travis called. His new zord flew down in front of the sun and through the clouds with it diving right down. The rangers have acquired the power and it's a whole new fight. They have new zords and they have the chance to try them out against Nebulose. All of them are inside their new zords and could feel the power in them.
"Wow. These new zords look and feel awesome." Joey said.
"You said it. I can really feel the power from these guys." Abby said.
"So let's try them out." Travis said. "There's a towering monster right in front of us. This is the perfect chance to see what these bad boys can do."
"I trashed your last zords. It doesn't matter if you have new zords or not." Nebulose said. "I'll crush them as well." Nebulose unleashed lightning at them, but their new zords endured the attack and pushed through.
"Careful. This bird's got talons." Travis said as he steered his new eagle-zord around. His eagle flew straight at Nebulos and smashed it's talons against him. He slashed those talons against him and pecked at Nebulos with it's sharp beak.
"Get off me, Tweety!" Nebulos shouted as he couldn't take the pain and knocked Travis away from him. However, it gave David an opening.
"Time for this shark to take a bite out of the monster." David said. The shark went right at Nebulose and bit him, funny part being on the butt.
"Yeow! Ow! Ow!" Nebulos shouted as he moved around frantically to try and shake David off him. Robby was on his way to help as his lion charged at him.
"Time to show this is no cowardly lion." Robby said. His lion-zord leaped right at Nebulos and slashed its claws against Nebulos.
"Get off!" Nebulos said as he slashed his sword against the lion-zord and was able to use it to knock the shark-zord right off him. Valerie was taking her turn as the owl-zord was flying straight for Nebulos.
"Owls can be quite fierce as well. I'm about to prove that." Valerie said. She flew right in at him in her zord with her zord slashing against him with it's talon. She kept flying around like an annoying mosquito and dealing some damage to Nebulose.
"Get away from me!" Nebulose said as he swung his sword around, but he couldn't get a clear hit at Valerie. As Valerie had him distracted, Sierra was flying in herself with her new swan-zord.
"Keep him there, Valerie. I'm coming in." Sierra said. Her zord flew close to the ground and soon pulled it self straight up. She flew right at Nebulos and smashed against him and Nebulos was knocked off his feet. "Yeah! Got him!"
"Nice hit!" Valerie said. Nebulos was getting back back and he was getting very annoyed.
"Now I'm getting really annoyed here, rangers. Taste my wrath!" Nebulos said as he tried to fight back as he unleashed energy attacks at them, but he couldn't get a clear hit at any of them. Abby took her turn as she attacked with her jaguar-zord. Her zord leaped at him and slashed against him.
"Oh yeah. Mess with the cat and her friends, you get the claws." Abby said.
"That's it!" Nebulos shouted as he unleashed another attack and nearly hit Abby with it. As he was distracted with the other rangers, Joey in his monkey-zord moved across the rooftops and got over Nebulos.
"Now to really monkey around." Joey said. He jumped down and grabbed a hold of Nebulos.
"Hey! Get off me!" Nebulos said as he thrashed around and tried to shake Joey off.
"Hang in there, Joey." Abby said.
"What do you think I'm doing?" Joey said as it was a rough ride for him.
"I've had enough of this!" Nebulos said as he was able to grab a hold of the monkey. He tossed it right off and bounced against the ground.
"Joey? You okay?" Travis asked.
"I think so." Joey said.
"Take this, rangers!" Nebulos said as he unleashed more electricity at the rangers and their zords. Their zords took some damage and they all got shook around from the attack. "Ha! I guess you're new zords aren't all that great in the first place."
"He's got a point." Travis said. "As great as these zords are, they're not enough to take him down. At least not alone. I think you all know what we really have to do."
"Right." The others said.
"Let's do this. Time to see what these zords can really do together." Travis said. "Activating Spirit Megazord."
"Spirit Megazord, Power-Up!" All of them said as they activated the megazord transformation sequence for their new megazord. The lion-zord folded it's legs and moved it's body closer to act as the chest of the megazord. The jaguar-zord and the monkey-zord folded it's bodies up and became the legs. The swan-zord and the shark-zord folded their bodies with hands coming out and attached themselves to the lion-zord and became the arms. The owl-zord opened it's body to reveal a face and held the wings up to act like a crown. It attached itself to the lion-zord and became the megazord's head. The eagle-zord attached itself to the back to give the megazord wings with the legs attaching too to complete the transformation. "Spirit Megazord!" All the rangers were together in a cockpit and were ready.
"Wow. This new megazord feels powerful." Joey said.
"No kidding. Just look at this thing." Robby said.
"Let's see how it can do in battle." Travis said.
"Another megazord?" Nebulos said as they stood off against each other. "I'll just trash this one like I did with the other ones."
"I don't think so. Forward!" Travis said as the megazord marched right over to Nebulos.
"You're still going down!" Nebulos said as unleashed more attacks at him, but the megazord pushed through. They pushed through Nebulos' attack and smashed one fist against him. They landed a couple more hits against Nebulos and hit him hard. "Take this!" Nebulos swung his sword at them, but they grabbed him by his arm and kicked him back.
"Wow. This new megazord is strong." Sierra said.
"Heads up. He's not down yet." Abby said.
"No more messing around." Nebulos said as he store power in his sword. He unleashed the attack that finished their old megazord. It hit and it did some damage. Nebulos went on the attack as he landed a few strikes against them. He gave them another good hit and knocked them down. "I knew that new toy of yours was nothing."
"Think again." Travis said as they were able to get back on their feet.
"We can't take him like we did last time." David said.
"There's got to be something special about this new megazord that we can use against him." Robby said as they ran a systems check to find a weapon or something you can use.
"I think I got something. Looks like this baby can actually fly." Joey said.
"That might be what we need. Time for takeoff." Travis said. They activated the system as the megazord began to fly in the air.
"You've got to be kidding me." Nebulos said. The megazord flew down and landed a few kicks against him and kept pushing him back. After another good one, they took back to the air. Nebulos unleashed more electricity and blasted them again.
"I've so had enough of this guy!" Travis said with great annoyance.
"Same here. Let's take him out once for all." Abby said.
"Let's give him a lift first." Joey said. They flew down and grabbed a hold of him and lifted him up in the air.
"Hey! Let me down! I don't like heights!" Nebulos pleaded.
"Okay!" All of them said as they released him.
"Not like that!" Nebulos called as he fell and hit the ground.
"Now let's really put an end to this." Travis said.
"Double Impact!" The megazord generated power in its wings and all that power transferred to both arms. The megazord flew straight down with energy surging through the arms. Both arms smashed against Nebulos and did some real damage to him.
"You may have won this battle, but you'll never win the war against Master Locore!" Nebulos called before he collapsed and was destroyed. The rangers cheered as they were able to beat that monster.
"Way to go, rangers!" Travis said.
"This new megazord really is powerful." Joey said.
"You're right. This one is incredible." Sierra said.
"Locore better watch out now because we're not messing around." Travis said. The rangers love this new megazord and thanks to it, Locore will have a real fight on his hands. The rangers were proud of their victory, but the villains were surprised.
"I can't believe this!" Dragight siad. "Nebulos was actually beaten and destroyed? How is that possible?"
"That's what the rangers do." Zabaro said.
"When it seems like victory will be ours, they find a way to turn it in their favor." Vyla said. "They're a nuisance."
"Master Locore, send me in to finish them right now!" Dragight said. Locore didn't respond. He just turned around and left the place. Not the response Dragight and the others were going for.
...
The Command Center
After their battle, the rangers headed back to the base. All of them were happy about their victory and couldn't stop talking about their new zord.
"Rangers!" Gamma said as he went over to them. "I'm so glad you're all safe. I was worried something might have happened to all of you and that I might never see you again."
"Aw. You're a sweetie, Gamma." Sierra said as she hugged him.
"Did you see what we did out there? That new megazord is incredible!" David said.
"I know. We really went wild!" Joey said.
"Settle down, monkey boy." Robby joked.
"Monkey boy? At least it's better than being an overgrown hairball." Joey said.
"Watch it. My new zord is a cat too, in case you forgot." Abby said.
"Bottom line is that we have a new power to help us against Locore." Travis said. "I hope he knows we're not going to just run and hide." All of them felt the same way, but Valerie noticed that Zultro wasn't as happy as the others were.
"Zultro? What's wrong?" Valerie said.
"Aren't you happy? We won and we did what no one else could?" Joey said.
"Yes. I'm quite proud of what you rangers accomplished." Zultro said. "As great as your accomplishments are, I fear that we might be celebrating too soon." All of them were listening in on this. "That monster was powerful, but Locore will be a real threat. As I said before, he's a lot more powerful and a lot more evil than Scarlie is."
"He's really all that bad?" Sierra asked.
"Yes. His monsters are the same as well." Zultro said. "If Locore is taking command, our troubles are far from over. There's no telling what he'll do. He'll do anything and destroy everything if he must to get what he desires. What he desires is to either conquer or destroy this world."
"We'll be ready." Travis said. "He can throw whatever he wants at us, but we're not backing down. We were able to obtain this power when no one else could. Sounds like no one was able to beat this monster before. If we can do that, I'm certain we'll take him down as well." The other rangers stood by him as well. "We're a team. Right?" He held out his hand for them. The others joined their hands in as well with them being a team. With that, Zultro was filled with even more pride for his rangers.
"I'm sure you will." Zultro said. Whether it's Scarlie or Locore, the rangers will fight and take on anything.
...
Locore's Palace
Locore has now seen what the rangers can really do. He has seen their power for himself and doesn't seem bothered.
"Master Locore, why didn't we fight the rangers?" Dragight said. "Help me understand why we waited for them."
"I wanted to see the full extent of the rangers' abilities." Locore said. "They appeared defeated earlier, but they came back and were stronger because of it. It was an interesting experiment. Now I know what they're capable of." Vyla and Zabaro were quite shocked to hear what he was saying.
"You were testing them the whole time?" Vyla asked.
"You were willing to sacrifice Nebulos just so you can see the rangers are capable of?" Zabaro said. They might be villains, but even they were surprised to here that Locore would do something like that to one of his own.
"Of course." Locore said. "Now that I know what those rangers can do, I can destroy them." Locore truly is cruel and malicious. The rangers are going to have many difficult challenges ahead of them.
