Long Live; Awakens(moving to wattpad)
Miles away in a lined by tall office buildings and wide brick and cobblestone boulevards, while the avenues of the inner portion are lined by smaller Parisian-style buildings. It's none other than Lumiose City one of largest cities in the Kalos Region where young trainer would get their starter Pokémon from the famous Professor Sycamore.
Inside of the soft blue walls, with a couple of posters of Pokémon, battling against each other next to it is a large teenage boys bedroom with a stuff Gible doll to the bed covers. A familiar bipedal, reptilian Pokémon with a primarily orange body and blue eyes, was racing across the room with an excitement look on his face."Charmander! Come back here!" A familiar male voice was calling out Charmander name as he was rushing to the room with a panicked look on his face.
Charmander was quickly leaping into the bedroom, as he began jumping in bed couple of times and accidentally unleashing releases bolts of fire from its mouth at the Gible stuffed toy. "Alain! Breakfast is ready!" Another older malefamiliar voice was calling out his name in a well manner tone. The tall, slim teenager boy with messy black hair, and blue eyes, quickly picked up his Charmander off the bed.
Alain Sycamore was his name, he has two amazing people that raised him very well their names were Augustine and Sophia. During his childhood, Alain didn't have many friends as he was always busy with his father laboratory after all. "Coming Dad!" Alain exclaimed, as he was still holding his Charmander in his arms and walking out of his room, towards the kitchen to have breakfast with his family. Alain remembered this one person, that he meet when he was nine years old and she was eight years old at Professor Oak's summer camp. They've had amazing memories they have together, Alain wishes that he could reunited with her once again and possibly travel together.
After breakfast was over Alain and the others were staring at the screen. "Two stones seem to have a strong connection to Mega Evolution." A middle-aged man, with black, curly hair, bluish eyes and some facial hair under his ears responded, calmly as he was glancing at the older article.
Alain was blinking his eyes a few times, as he was getting interesting about Mega Evolutions. "Two stones?" Alain exclaimed, as he was staring at the screen some more.
Professor Sycamore was glancing at the screen some more, as he began speaking in a calmer tone. "One is held by the Trainer and the other by the Pokémon. When the two stones resonate, the Pokémon temporarily attains great power." Alain was amazed, about learning new things about Mega Evolutions.
Alain and Professor Sycamore began walking towards the greenhouse of where the other Pokémon live. "But where does that power come from? Is it given to then by humans?" Alain asked curiously, as he wanted to find some answers.
Professor Sycamores turned his direction towards his son, with a serious look on his face. "No, It's the Pokémon own power. Humans only draw out the power using the stone, that's all." Professor Sycamore exclaimed, as the rest of the Pokémon we're running over to them and the Psyduck was rubbing against Alain's leg. "I think it is the strong bond between human and Pokémon which allows this phenomenon to happen." Professor Sycamore responded, calmly as he was placing his hands against the lab pocket.
Alain carefully watched the Psyduck rubbing against his leg as he slowly turned his direction towards his father. "A bond, huh? Does Mega Evolution only come to existence through humans?" Alain exclaimed, as he was getting even more interested of learning about Mega Evolution.
"Yes. That said, there are still many mysterious." Professor Sycamore exclaimed, as he began walking over to the bushes and kneeling down on his knees as he carefully watched the black larval Pokemon with a relatively large head, crawling out of the bushes and petting it lightly on the forehead. "It was an established theory that Pokémon can't turn back to their previous forms once they evolve. However, Mega Evolution overthrows, that theory. They return back to normal. Another question is why it only occurs during battles." Professor Sycamore spoken in a well manner tone, as he quickly stood back up from the ground and continued speaking in a calmer tone. "According to the information in our possession, there are cases of Pokémon changing their types and Abilities upon mega evolving." Then the two boys heard a loud roaring in the background, as they turned their direction and noticed a bipedal, draconian Pokemon that is primarily dark blue in color jumped towards them.
Alain slowly walked over to his father's Garchomp as he began rubbing it against one of her horns. "If their typing and Abilities change releasing the power might please a burden on the Pokémon." Alain exclaimed, as he was gently smoothly against Garchomp's forehead then turned his direction towards his father. "Is what why it only happens during a battle?" Alain responded, with a warm smile on his face.
"That's a possibility." Professor Sycamore responded, calmly a while later on Alain's Charmander quickly rushed over to him and rubbing his head against Alain's leg. "Either way, we don't have enough samples." Professor Sycamore exclaimed, as he was giving them a warm smile on his face.
"You're right." Alain exclaimed, as he was kneeling down on his knees to the ground and began petting his Charmander on the forehead. "I wonder how things are in other regions." Alain questioning his father as he was still petting his Charmander forehead.
Professor Sycamore, raised up his eyebrows with a suspicious look on his face and started speaking in a softer tone. "So far all reported cases happened here in the Kalos region."
Charmander began roaring lightly in a happier tone on his voice which Alain responded back to him, placing his hand against Charmander's forehead and started gently petting it. "There, there." Alain spoken in a softer tone, towards his Charmander and slightly turned his direction towards his father with a confused look on his face. "The Pokémon might be trying to tell us something through Mega Evolutions." Alain exclaimed, as he was blinking his eyes a few times.
Professor Sycamore slowly took a deep breath as he was staring directly at his son and started speaking in his usual calmer tone. "That's exactly the top of my research. As someone researching Pokémon in Kalos, it's something I don't think I can avoid looking into."
Alain slowly picked up his Charmander from the ground and stood up, with a serious look on his face. "I'll look for stones!" Alain exclaimed, as he was getting interested of looking for some Mega Stones.
Professor Sycamore blinked his eyes a few times, as he was getting completely confused of why all of sudden his son wanted to set off his journey right away. "Do you want to set off on a journey?" Professor Sycamore asked curiously, as he was raising up his eyebrows.
Alain quickly turned his direction towards his father with a bright smile on his face and started speaking in his usual cheerful attitude. "It's okay, right, Professor?" Alain was getting excited that he's would able to finally to set off himself on a journey with his Charmander and other Pokémon that he caught over the last two years.
Professor Sycamore paused at the moment, as he could tell how much this would a lot for Alain and his strong bond with his Charmander. He finally given in with a his usual bright smile on his face. "Uh...Yeah. But report to me on a regular basis." Professor Sycamore exclaimed, as he watched carefully at his son change of a emotions.
Alain slightly chuckled under his breath as he was holding his Charmander in his arms tightly. "I will!" Alain exclaimed, as he looked back at his Charmander and the two began laughing with each other, as Alain was stretching his Charmander in a lower chin. After a couple minutes when Alain arrived back his room with his Charmander by his side, he wore a pair of baggy, grey pants, a black, leather jacket, black boots, a blue shirt with a white undershirt, and a pair of fingerless gloves. He slowly took out a pale, blue puffy scarf and wrapping around his neck. Alain checked himself on the mirror once more. "How do I look Charmander!" Alain exclaimed, as he watched carefully at his Charmander who was clapping his hands together in a happily way.
Alain marginally snickering under his breath, as he could heard a soft knocked on his door as he frantically turned around and noticed a older woman, with long darker blue that reaches her back, darker green eyes. She wore a large white lab coat, light blue shirt underneath, gray shorts with a black belt around it and finally she sport a red glasses. "Alain! Could we chat for a moment." A female response in a softer tone as she was holding something in her hands.
Alain was blinking his eyes a few times, as he watched his mother, Sophia walking over to him and handed him something. Alain stared at a plane ticket which he gotten completely confused. "Wait a plane ticket to the Sinnoh region!" Alain questioning his mother, as he was holding the plane ticket tightly.
Sophia gracefully smiled at her son, as she watched him, glancing at the plane ticket and softy placed her hand against his shoulder. "I know your thinking Alain! I know your goal is to look for those special stones. You're father and I were thinking like couple of minutes ago that you should sign up to The Hearthome City Tag Battle Competition, which is coming up in the next couple of six weeks." Sophia began explaining to him, as she was squeezing his shoulder lightly.
Alain stared at the plane ticket some more,as he was holding it very tightly. "The Hearthome City Tag Battle Competition? What is all about mom?" Alain questioning his mother some more.
Sophia slightly nodded her head, as she given her son a gracefully smile and carefully watching her son getting completely more confused then ever. "Yes! The Hearthome City Tag Battle Competition is where each trainer given an entry card with a number in front of it." Sophia continued speaking in her gentle tone on her voice.
Alain gently stared at the card that his mother given to him along with the plane ticket and he slowly read it. "My card number is 30!" Alain muttered under his breath, as he looked back at his mother.
Sophia could nervous her son face expression,as she was letting go of her hand out of his shoulder. "I understand if you're not ready to battle yet, Alain! But it would be a great experience for you as a new comers trainer and maybe while you're at the Sinnoh region, it is possibly that you could find some stones over there!" Sophia exclaimed, with a warm smile on her face.
Alain beam at the stuff that his mother give him, as he was blinking his eyes a few times. "You do got a good point mom! I should head to the Sinnoh region at this moment!" Alain exclaimed, as he was putting the plane ticket and the number card in his jacket pocket.
After a couple of hours later when Alain, and his Charmander arrived at the airport with his parents and Garchomp was standing right by his side. "Alain! Good luck on your trip to the Sinnoh region!" Sophia exclaimed, as she gave her son a motherly hug, with tears racing down on her cheek.
Alain let go of his mother hug, as he was trying his best to hold his tears out since he's not going to see his parents for a while. "Thanks mom it really means a lot to me!" Alain responded, with a warm smile on his face.
Professor Sycamore gave his son a warm smile on his face. "Alain make sure you stay safe and don't get any danger when you get to the Sinnoh region." He warned his son, to keep himself safe.
Alain shook his head lightly as he picked up his Charmander from the ground as he looked at his parents. "I should get going now you guys! I won't miss my flight!" Alain exclaimed, as he waved his parents one last time and carried down to the escalator. Alain and his Charmander flew on the Vespiquen Airlines H23 to fly to Sinnoh.
On a bright sunny day in the Sinnoh, Alain and his Charmander shortly gotten out of the airport after an eighteen hour flight from Lumiose City to Jublife City. Alain glanced at many skyscrapers around the city which he was amazed of how large Jublife City was. "That was an such a tiring flight Charmander!" Alain exclaimed, as he was rubbing his eyes, getting tired from a long flight that he took today.
Charmander began dozing himself to sleep as he placed his head against Alain's chin for some rest. "Guess your tired as well Charmander! We should go get check in the Pokémon Center for the rest of day and tomorrow we're going to head off towards Hearthome City." Alain mentioned to the bipedal, reptilian Pokémon, as he was heading towards the Pokémon Center.
Alain slowly approaching himself to the Pokémon Center with Charmander in his arms tightly to get himself checked in. He felt a light pushed against his body. "Oh my goodness! I'm sorry I've bumped into you sir!" A softer female voice apologized, which he was flinched around to glanced at this girl's appearance.
Alain glazed at the fair-skinned teenage girl's appearance, her waist-length dark brown slightly wavy towards the end, that has navel-length forelocks and straightened bangs with a small split in the corner and warm, gentle dark green eyes. She wore a light blue dress with two layers and many flowers, and finally light blue shoes with straps with flowers. Alain was amazed of this beauty of an exquisite angel that he never meet before in his whole life. "I-I-I!" Alain stuttering under his breath, as he watched the teenage girl, gently giggling. Alain noticed next to the teenage girl from across her is a quadrupedal, mammalian Pokemon covered in fine, lilac fur with slender legs and dainty paws.

Ash and the others have finally arrived at Jublife City to get ready for Ashley and Dawn upcoming Pokémon Contest here tomorrow. Jublife City is one of the major second largest cities across the Sinnoh Region, it has so has many skyscrapers, were businessmen would go do a few jobs and other stuff. Inside of the Pokémon Center with the others, Dawn was twirling around with a new pink dress that her mother made for her along with Pikachu. "You're such in a good mood Dawn." Brock exclaimed, as he was impressed of how Dawn gotten dressed up.
Ash was blinking his eyes a few time as he carefully watched Dawn wearing a pink dress. "What's the dress for!" Ash asked curiously as he was crossing his arms over his chest. Ash frantically looking around with a concerned look on his face. "Where is Ashley? I haven't seen her yet!" Ash started speaking in a calmer tone, as he was frantically looking around.

Ashley was catching her breath, as she placed her hand against her chest and trying her best to calm her nerves down. "Sorry I was a little late you guys." Ashley apologized, as she was looking down on the ground with a guilty look on her face. "It's just that I was taking forever to get changed with this dress!" Ashley exclaimed, as she was trying to catch her breath uncontrollably.
Brock placed his hand against Ashley's shoulder lightly with a gentle smile on his face. "That's understandable, Ashley! The dress looks nice on you." Brock recalled, as he was letting go of his hands.

Ashley took out the Pokédex from her bag as she was getting interested of this newer Pokémon that she never seen before as she was getting some information.'Glameow, the Catty Pokémon. When angry, it flashes its claws, but it also can purr quite affectionately.' Ashley was putting away her Pokédex away back into the bag, as she was glancing at the Glameow.
Dawn was kneeling down on her knees to noticed that this Glameow was holding something from her tail. "What do we have here?" Dawn questioning at the feline Pokémon, with a confused look on her face.
Johanna noticed that this Glameow has the chocker in her tail, as she was giving the Pokémon a warm smile on her face. "Hey, that's it!" Johanna exclaimed, as she carefully watched her daughter sudden expression on her face.
Then a younger girl has short orange-red hair, brownish-red eyes, and a dark magenta shirt under a light orange vest, and pale blue jeans with black sunglasses above her hair. She wears red socks and brown boots with grey brown laces. She also wears a small necklace around her neck and has a pink Poketch on her left wrist stepping in front of the gang. "There you are." A female speak in a calmer tone, as the rest of gang were in disbelief.
Dawn was slowly getting up from the ground as she took out the choker out of Glameow's tail. "Are you the one who found this?" Dawn exclaimed holding the choker tightly as she watched the Glameow jumped into the girls arms.

Alain exclaimed, as he was walking over to the videophone and decided to call his parents that he made it safe in the Sinnoh region. Alain noticed that the same girl he bumped into not that long ago along with three other people slowly walked away.
On a practice battlefield outside Dawn and Piplup square off against Ashley and Espeon. "Ready Dawn?" Ashley exclaimed, as she was placing her hands against her hips. "This is practice for your Contest battle!" Ashley continued speaking in a calmer tone, as she was ready to face against Dawn.
Dawn was inject her fits tightly as she was ready to battle against her new friend Ashley. "Okay! Give me your best shot!" Dawn exclaimed as she was grinning a little.

She was walking around to the practice battlefield and slowly took a sit on the bench next to Brock. "Piplup, Bubble Beam!" Dawn responded to her water starter Pokémon.

"Woah this is so amazing right Pika!" A female voice responded, as she was amazed at the battle between Ashley and Dawn. She placed her hand against short, chubby rodent Pokémon, which is covered in yellow fur with two horizontal brown stripes on its back and has a small mouth, long, pointed ears with black tips, and brown eyes. It has a V-shaped notch at the end of its tail, which looks like the top of a heart . Pika slightly shook her head lightly as she was amazed at the battle as well.
"Nice landing Piplup!" Dawn exclaimed, as she was pumping her fits in the air. "Peck!" Piplup's beak glows, before extending which Ashley, Ash and teenage girl with shoulder-length, wavy strawberry blonde hair were in shocked. Ashley didn't responded to anything, as she was amazed of it. "Pretty cool huh? That's how we show off that move. We've been practicing storing up power." Dawn explaining to the young trainer as she was proud of herself practicing that new style of this moves.
Brock was feeding his Bonsly with a bottle of milk, while Ash slowly watched them with an excitement look on his face. "Dawn is really focused." Brock assured, as he was glancing at the battlefield.
Ashley was watching carefully at Piplup quickly charging towards Espeon. "Espeon, Iron Tail!" Ashley shouted loudly throughout her lungs. Espeon's entire tail glowing bright white, but before the attack that can connect, Aipom jumps in front of Espeon. "Aipom what are you doing?" Ashley asked with a very surprise look on her face. Aipom''s tail becomes surrounded in a light blue aura and knocking Piplup back.
Dawn eyes were widen in total shocked as she watched her Piplup getting knocked down by Aipom's Focus Punch. "Piplup!" Dawn exclaimed in a panicked way as she glared At Aipom angrily. "What was that for Aipom?" Dawn scolding the purple Monkey Pokémon, as she was clenched her fits tightly.
Aipom began jumping to the ground in couple of times with a determined look on her face. "What are you doing Aipom?" Ash shouted in the background in confusion. Aipom body glowing bright white and it creates multiple copies of itself. Then Aipom was launching yellow stars shoot out from her tail, making a combination to make a large star and landing it on her tail.
Brock and the teenage girl with shoulder-length, wavy strawberry blonde hair were walking over to Ashley and Dawn with Bonsly and Pika in there arms. "That's a good looking move. I think Aipom wants to compete in the contest." Brock suggested to Ash in a calmer tone who was in complete shocked.

"And this is my little partner her name is Pika!" Beryl responded, as she was pointing to them towards her Pika.
Dawn was in complete shocked, as she recognized this person very well and began squealing , jumping up and down in excitement. Ash and Brock were covering there ears, as Ashley in the other hand was biting her lower lip tightly. "No way! Your that famous Contest Idol who won multiple Grand Festival and the niece of the current Hoenn champion Wallace." Dawn exclaimed, as she was proud that she have a chance to meet with a real life celebrity.
Ashley didn't say a word since she doesn't know very much of this Beryl person. Beryl slightly chuckled eagerly at the blue hair trainer. "Yes the one and only Dawn! Don't worry I already know your names since I've watched the battle." Beryl speak in a calmer tone, as she has her Pika in her shoulder. "And not forget I'm a former Kalos Queen!" Beryl mentioned, as she was winked her eyes.
Ashley, Ash, Brock and Dawn were completely confused since they've never heard of Kalos Queen before. Ashley faced her direction towards Beryl. "Hey! Beryl if you don't mind asking is it possibly that I could see the rest of your Pokémon Team." Ashley asked curiously as she wants to see her team.
Beryl had a bright smile on her face as she was watching carefully at the gang nodded of agreement. "I don't see why not!" Beryl answered in a cheerful tone, as she turned her direction towards Pika. Pika jumped out of her trainer's shoulder and rushed to the battlefield. Beryl took out five Pokeball from her hand. "Come on everyone let's meet some new friends!" Beryl exclaimed, as she was sending out her Pokémon to the battlefield with Pika.
Ashley was amazed at Beryl team, as she stared at them without her responding to anything. The first one was fox-like, quadrupedal coat is pale blue, and its fur is more flowing and wispier while the tips of its tails and crest, as well as the lower halves of its legs, are white. Finally, she has larger eyes, which are blue, and small tufts of fur in front of its ears. The second one was aquatic, serpentine Pokémon with a cream body, light-purple hair-like fins and a yellow-black tail. The third Pokémon was a long, serpentine Pokémon with sky blue scales and a white underside. It has a rounded snout, oval purple eyes, and a small, white horn on its forehead. The fourth Pokémon bipedal, fox-like Pokémon, the fur is covered in yellow, and has black legs, white arms and face, and a dark orange tail tip and the fur on its cheeks is longer, and a small mane of white fur covers its shoulders and chest with wavy tufts of dark orange fur grow out of its large ears, and its eyes and small nose match. The fifth and final a blue, avian Pokémon body and cloud-like wings are covered in fluffy, white feathers. "Woah! That's an Altaria! A shiny Milotic! Dragonair! and a Ninetales with a unique fur colored." Ashley muttered under her breath as she was impressed at the team that Beryl has.
Beryl slightly chuckled under her breath as she watched Ashley sudden face expression. "Yes! This is my Pokémon team!" Beryl exclaimed, as she was pointing to them her team. "Meet my Altaria, Milotic, Dragonair, Alolan Ninetales and Braixen!" Beryl mentioned, as she was finishing pointing to them. "Right this Ninetales is an ice and fairy type not a pure fire types." Beryl finished speaking in a sweeter tone.
Ashley slowly took out her Pokédex from her bag as she was getting information on this Braixen.'No Data!'Ashley mouth was wide in shocked as she quickly put her Pokédex back into her pocket. "Oh! Wait I forgot that it's probably from the Kalos region like Josette's Sylevon!" Ashley muttered under her breath, as she Espeon was walking over to the rest of Beryl team. Ashley looked at Beryl's Altaria who was wearing a gorgeous crystal blue crown on her head and noticing a weird looking pinkish color, with the swirl inside being fluffy white, toped with a dark blue , and then the light blue.
Dawn sudden turned her direction towards Ash as she was holding her Piplup in her arms. "Why not? Don't worry! I think it'll be fun! Maybe you and I could compete against each other!" Dawn exclaimed, as she still wanted Ash to compete on the contest.
Brock shook his head of agreement with the blue hair trainer as he looked at his long time best friend. "Ash, you could give it a shot." Brock suggested it to him, as he was holding his Bonsly in his arms tightly.
Ash thought for a moment in his mind, as he was thinking of trying to do the contest with Aipom. "I guess so." Ash responded as he was placing his hands against on his hips. Pikachu and Aipom both jumped on his shoulder. "Alright, I'll do it! Aipom, we'll need to do some training." Ash mentioned to the purple Monkey Pokémon.
Brock slowly took a deep breath uncontrollably as he was still holding his Bonsly in his arms. "Ash, there's something else you need to do." Brock exclaimed at the young trainer, who was completely confused. "Your entry." Brock mentioned, making both of the Ketchum siblings panicked a little.
Dawn widen her eyes in complete shocked, as she forget to do the entry for this upcoming contest tomorrow. "I forgot!" Dawn complained as he began freaking out. Beryl watched carefully at Ashley and the others were racing away as she chuckled uncontrollably.
Hey readers! It's been a while since I update the chapter of this chapter! Beryl is one of my newest and latest Oc I created yesterday and she is based on a Lisia(Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire) and I'm going to her a love interest and it's going to be Brock. Next chapter is going to be my first ever contest in this chapter.
