Luz sat on the bed in the guest room her Aunt and Uncle gave her. Here she was, stuck in the Human Realm. Away from her friends, away from her parents, away from... Amity.

"Amity. I may never get to see her again." Luz said.

The door opened and saw Emelina come in.

"Hey, you settling in alright?"

"Y-yeah."

She came over to the bed and sat next to Luz.

"Come on, tell me what the problem is."

"I... I may never see my friends o-o-or my parents. Or... Amity."

"Amity?" Emelina smiled, "Who's Amity?"

"Oh, that's right, you don't know. Amity is my girlfriend, I'm sure you'd love her."

"Are... are there any girls on the Isles that... are single?" Emelina asked.

"Emily, are you a lesbian?" Luz asked.

"I... yes." She said with a small smile.

Luz hugged her and started squealing.

"I'm so happy for you!"

"Yeah, well, I'm not having any luck here."

"Hey, don't worry, everyone has a someone for them."

"Thanks, Luz. I'll think about that."

"While you're doing that, how about you show me your ears?"

Emelina stiffened at that. Only her family knew about this so she was pretty self-conscious about her... physical changes.

"Are... are you sure?"

"What are you afraid of? I won't judge you."

"Okay, as long as you won't judge me."

She grabbed her beanie and pulled it off, allowing her hair to fall over her head. She moved her hair out of the way and her ears were visible. Her pointed ears.

"Do... do they look good?"

"They look perfect. Just like proper witch!" Luz said, "Maybe tomorrow we can practice magic!"

"Well, unfortunately, I have to meet some friends tomorrow."

"Can I come?"

"uhm, sure." Emelina said.

Emelina was unsure about how this would go. Her friends were popular and seen as 'Normal' by community standards. She was nervous about what would happen when they met, not only a witch, but the princess of a magical fantasy world. She's already kept her secret from them, so what will happen if they find out about Luz? The next day, in the Boiling Isles, Amity was trying her hardest to get in contact with Luz, to no avail. She thought this day couldn't get any worse.

"Amity!"

She thought wrong. Her parents were calling her. She went downstairs to see what the problem was now. When she made it to where her parents were, she was shocked.

"Amity Blight."

"E-E-Emperor B-Belos?"

Amity looked at Emperor Belos, he wore his usual outfit except with a hood instead of his mask. She could see his golden eyes, light tan skin, and his small brown goatee. Yup, this was definitely Luz's father. Somehow, seeing him as a normal witch instead of a faceless leader behind a mask made him even more terrifying.

"I would like to speak to you and your friends." He spoke with a calm tone.

"O-okay. I-I-I'll go call them over."
