CHAPTER 12: LUX-AUREA.

(POV: Mysterious Narrator.)

As Thomas followed the figure in white, his allies whom of which were in the same uniform, followed behind as they ensured Allen was kept captive. The nobleman did not say a single word as they walked along the halls, for he had a lifeless Lady within his arms, and was clearly not too keen on asking ANYTHING at this point. Then, right when the leader stopped, Thomas looked forward to see a door just ahead. Thomas's face did not change, until the leader opened it to reveal a whole new area that was filled with life. As everyone then stepped upon it, a woman with long golden hair that had silver highlights met up with them.

"I found the boy as you asked me to, ma'am." The leader reported.

"Good work." The woman replied, as she then turned her attention towards Thomas. "I'm pleased to finally meet you face to face, Thomas." She said with a warm smile. "I'm Lux-Aurea. The current queen of the Allcroft family, and Lady's mother."

Thomas just gave a nod, as the queen then looked at her child within the nobleman's arm.

"Hmm.. Though it appears that it's death on the outside, on her inside it's not that case. From what I can tell, her bodily functions have all shut down due to a great mana surge caused by an outside source. She is still alive for her soul has not left yet, but if untreated she could die for real."

As Lux-Aurea then looked over, she saw Thomas giving off a puzzled expression.

"Oh my apologies." She giggled. "Muttering is a bit of a habit I have when I'm really deep in thought about something. Anyways, I bet you're wondering how I know so much about Magic."

"Well..." Thomas replied. "I'm kind of wondering that now, along with something else that I've noticed. The fact with your name, being the Latin words for Golden light."

Lux-Aurea gave a sigh, as she heard this from the nobleman.

"My, you are certainly a clever one." She remarked. "Considering that you are my daughter's destined husband, and you have indeed dealt with a misuser of the Tembris Shrine which follows my sister, then I'm sure you already know the answer to it all. The fact that I am indeed the goddess sister of the Golden light."

"Yes." Thomas replied, as he then gave another puzzled expression. "Wait... Destined husband?"

"Yes." Lux-Aurea replied. "A magicborn who's the greatest in magic and power, and a Nobleman whose heart was accepted by many, will break the barriers blocking their love and form a new peaceful time. Sound accurate enough for you?"

Thomas just gave a nod, as the goddess continued.

"Anyways, enough with the chatting here. Come with me, and I will tend to Lady's seemingly lifeless condition."

"What about me?!"

Lux-Aurea and Thomas looked over to see Allen trying to break free from his restraints. As the goddess then gave an annoyed sigh, she looked sternly at the prince.

"You can rot away for the rest of your life behind the bars of a prison cell. You kidnapped my daughter for no good reason at all, harmed her to near death, and only laughed at her as she suffered dreadfully. You are a great fool!" She then finished darkly, and turned heel. "Take him away!"

And so, the guards of Lux-Aurea did. After he followed her into a room, and laid her on the bed, Thomas watched as Lux-Aurea began to treat Lady. Using different herbs, potions and tools, the goddess was putting a special concoction together. As he then continued to watch, Thomas felt a tap on his shoulder. As the nobleman turned he saw a girl of the same age as Annie and Clarabel, but with her hair was a light brown, almost blond, and her face had some similarities with Lady's.

"Is she going to be okay?" She asked, as she looked at Thomas.

"I hope so." Thomas replied. "She did ask me to marry her after all."

As the girl gasped slightly, she saw the emblem on the collar of Thomas's uniform, which she seemed to recognize.

"Are you a sorcerer-knight?" She asked.

"Yes." Thomas replied solemnly.

"My sister must really trust and love you to even ask you to be her husband."

"She certainly does." Thomas replied as he cracked a small smile. "She certainly does."

As the girl then managed to crack a smile, Lux-Aurea had just finished preparing the concoction, and just was about to inject it into Lady with a syringe when she spotted her just outside of the room.

"Oh mother." The girl stammered "I-I was just.."

"Checking on your sister." Lux-Aurea finished in reply. "I know, Liza. I know. But still, don't take things too fast, you're still recovering from that sickness Strea inflicted you with."

"Yes, mother." Liza replied as she and Thomas then watched as Lux-Aurea injected the concoction into Lady.

At first, nothing seemed to happen, but then after a few seconds had passed, Lady began to cough. As the 17 year-old then opened her eyes, she watched as both her mother and her sister came to her bedside with an embrace.

"Mother!" Lady exclaimed "Liza! I really missed you both."

"We did too, Lady." Lux-Aurea replied, as she and her daughters smiled.

"Oi!" Lady then said as she spotted Thomas. "Don't you dare make me order you to kiss your upcoming wife."

Thomas gave a slight chuckle, as he then sat next to Lady and kissed full on the mouth. When they finished, Lux-aurea looked at all three teens with a sweet yet serious look.

"Right. Now that Lady's up and awake again, we better meet up with the other's who came to help Thomas recuse her. They'll be waiting for us."

As they then all nodded, the Sorcerer-Knight, the magicborns and the goddess all left Lux-Aurea's special realm to meet up with Jackland, Proteus, Billster and Timothy in the palace within the magic railway.
