As expected, Sauron's plans about attacking the mutants not only have failed, but now he just got the mutants pissed off, which means that a retaliation is coming. Not to mention that Spidey, Kitty and Wade are dealing with Sauron's new Royal Guard while the actual Royal Guard are dealing with Itsy Bitsy with the help of Elsa Bloodstone. Lots of action is coming, so let's get right on it!

SPIDER-MAN AND KITTY PRYDE: ROYAL PAINS
Chapter 14: IntervenXion, Part 2 – A lot of pissed off people
"Guys? I think we'll need to plan a new strategy" Spidey is the first one to speak after the group got slammed by the large tentacle creature.
"OH YOU DON'T SAY!" Wade exclaims sarcastically "And FYI, while not noticeable under the mask, I did imitate Nicky Cage's face of the meme…man, that guy can pull a crazy guy face like no one else" he comments but then holds his katana to block the claws from the bird-like creature.
"I swear to God, this is the last time I ever set foot in Staten Island" Kitty mutters while she stands, just to roll to her right to dodge a strike from another of the creatures, the black squid one wielding axes.
"MRRRRF!" Jeff growls at the blue ogre, who lifts his mace in order to slam him, but Jeff fortunately manages to dodge it.
"Rwwwooo" Lockheed growls at his draconian counterpart, shooting a couple of fireballs at his face, but his rival only smirks, looking unaffected by the small dragon's fire and retaliates with a fire blast of his own. Lockheed barely manages to dodge it, but he falls nearby Kitty, holding him as the gathered heroes regroup and face Sauron's creatures.
"Seems that I've pulled another work better than you, Wade!" Sauron starts to mock the deposed King of Monsters "Behold my new Royal Guard! OCTERRA!" he points at the yellow tentacle creature "TYRNAKKO!" he points at the blue ogre holding his mace "AVIARA!" he points at the bird-like creature "ROSENDRACH!" he points at the red dragon creature "NECROSQUID!" he points at the black squid-like creature "I'd introduce you to the Guard's leader but aside from the fact that you already met her, she is busy dealing with the outgoing Royal Guard" he adds, revealing that his Royal Guard will be led by Itsy Bitsy "But what kind of King would I be if I don't join my warriors in battle?" he stands from his throne and stares at the group of heroes "ATTACK!" he then jumps alongside his Royal Guard towards the group of heroes.
"Buckle up, guys!" Spidey exclaims as he creates a large cape of webbing to hold them long enough for them to retreat back to the hole they came from and start to go down.
"Retreating? This is the best plan you got, webs?" Wade complains, but both Spidey and Kitty glare at him.
"You have a better idea, 'Your Highness'?" Kitty sarcastically asks him.
"Call for reinforcements, DUH!" Wade replies, but before any more answers can be said, Octerra strikes Wade, grabbing him with his tentacles to throw him outside the window, launching him to an adjacent rooftop.
"Look at that, the monsters had a good idea….let's move this battle away!" Spidey grabs Kitty by the waist and jumps from the hole Octerra created, swinging away while Lockheed grabs Jeff and flies alongside them.
"You shall not escape!" Aviara's voice is heard as she chases them, managing to scratch Spidey's back with her claws, forcing him to fall.
"Alright…your head's mine #$%&´+!" Kitty angrily exclaims as she lands and rolls to face Aviara, just as the rest of the creatures land. Tyrnakko and Rosendrach head towards Spidey and Wade, both of them standing up and mounting up their guard, ready to bring the fight against them.
"Hey, if we make it out of this alive, am I invited to your wedding with Kitty?" Wade asks him, prompting Spidey to glare at him "I mean, Mephisto loves screwing up spiders but he stays far away from muties so I guess you won't be screwed up on this one, and hey, I doubt the guy behind the keyboard is gonna pull a 'Guggenheim' on Kitty, so…" he shrugs his shoulders but Spidey then looks at the monsters.
"If you guys could shut him up, I'd really appreciate it" Spidey quips, but right then, the creatures rush towards them, with both of them jumping above them to avoid the strike and send them on the edge.
"OLÉ!" Wade exclaims, even posing as a 'Torero' while he pulls out his guns and fires at Rosendrach while Spidey shoots fireballs at Tyrnakko, all of them attempting to regain some of the ground while Kitty fights against Aviara and Necrosquid, who steps in swinging his axes, to which Kitty tries to remain intangible to dodge his strikes, all the while Sauron keeps an eye overhead.
MEANWHILE, IN KRAKOA
After the gargoyles assaulted Krakoa, the mutants struck back and halted their invasion, only to discover that it was Sauron who sent them, prompting Beast to call every member of X-Force to The Pointe, since this affects the case they were working on.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm afraid we just stepped into a 'Worst Case Scenario' type of situation" Beast begins to speak to the assembled group "As everyone remembers, Sauron had escaped our chase and ended in Staten Island, New York; right there, he was granted 'Political Asylum' by its ruler, Deadpool" he shows the holograms of Sauron and Deadpool as he speaks "However, we were just assaulted by a group of six gargoyles sent by Sauron himself to attack us, and after a psychic interrogation, we discovered information about our case, but before I reveal it, I'd like to recall another detail from our last meeting" he then turns to Wolverine "You said that you knew of a last minute option to avoid a strike, could you share with us what was that plan?" he asks him, prompting Wolverine to grunt.
"I asked Spider-Man the favor of talking to Wade" Wolverine replies "I know for a fact that Wade somehow listens to him so it was a long shot, and probably even Kitty joined in the job since they're partners" he adds.
"I'm aware of that, Tovarisch, so I guess that they both caught some complications" Colossus interjects, knowing about their partnership due to the adventure in Madripoor, yet fortunately Emma Frost erased the knowledge of Spidey's identity.
"Unfortunately, not only Deadpool failed to listen, but he's no longer the King" Beast replies.
"We discovered that Sauron somehow exploited the 'Monster Law' and took Deadpool out of the picture, thus he became the new King" Sage explains, showing the image of Sauron now on a throne.
"King Sauron?" Quentin Quire scoffs a laugh "J.R.R. Tolkien must be twisting in his own grave" he sarcastically quips.
"Sauron being on the throne means only one thing…diplomacy has failed" Beast takes the word as he looks around the room "And with that, our plans have changed".
"So, we're finally breaking into Monster Island?" Domino asks, to which both Beast and Sage nod in response.
"We received the approval of the Quiet Council to use lethal force on him" Sage points out, causing Quire to grin while Colossus frowns, since he refuses to use lethal tactics in spite of joining X-Force "So yes, the priority remains to capture him, but if it's necessary, you have green light to end him" she adds.
"And how we're gonna move over there?" Wolverine poses the question.
"Thanks to the assistance of our resident telepaths" Beast looks at both Sage and Quire "We have reprogrammed four of the surviving gargoyles, since you killed one of them and Psylocke dispatched the other one" he explains, revealing that two of them indeed dies in battle "They will transport you back into New York through the gates, leading you directly into Sauron".
"Alright then, let's stop wasting our time and go into that creepy island and bring down that fossil!" Quire excitedly exclaims as he leads the way out of the room.
"Tell you the truth; I wouldn't be surprised if we return without him…if you know what I mean" Domino whispers to Wolverine as they both walk out.
"I suppose that I'm joining your mission" Colossus comments to his fellow partners.
"Welcome to X-Force, big guy" Wolverine replies to his comment "It's a nasty job, but no one else can do it like we do" he adds as they leave the place, entering a room where the four remaining gargoyles stand docile.
Each one of them stare at the gargoyle ad then turn around, allowing the gargoyles to grab them and slowly take off, flying out of the Pointe and head towards the New York Gate, specifically the one located at the Washington Square Park, heading towards the battle, ready to do whatever it takes to end this case and bring down Sauron once and for all.
BACK IN STATEN
Deadpool's Royal Guard had a tough time dealing with Itsy Bitsy, but fortunately for them, reinforcements arrived in the shape of Elsa Bloodstone, Monster Hunter, Royal Guard's ally and Deadpool's girlfriend.
"Does this #$%&+%*$ #$%&+ have a weakening!?" Elsa asks as she shoots another of her exploding bullets, this time managing to blow off two of her arms away.
"Like I told you before, milady…she possesses King Deadpool's Healing Factor" the Night Wolf replies while he dodges her acidic spits.
"Then a new plan is needed" Elsa replies, lifting her sight to see her jump, taking advantage of her position to shoot another exploding bullet, taking off one of her legs "Any chance to figure out how Wade's handling it?" she poses the question while Bün-Bün fires his optic blasts at Itsy Bitsy, just as Quonian and Chet Morita combine their efforts slashing their blades against her.
"We'd love to help, but it's becoming even harder to get rid of her" the Night Wolf replies, but those words give Elsa an idea that pokes in her head.
"Of course…if we can't kill her, we get rid of her, it's what Wade would do" Elsa replies as she looks at the Night Wolf "I have that new plan" she replies, and just then she sees four shadows flying above them, heading to the adjacent building where the sounds of a battle is raging on.
"It seems that King Deadpool's battle is raging on another battleground" the Night Wolf comments while Itsy Bitsy also turns her head at the sight of the flying figures.
"Saurie-Saur!" Itsy Bitsy exclaims while she begins to revert into her 'regular' shape, dodging the attacks of Zrrgo and Kohlaab, but before she could escape, Elsa strikes her with the last of her exploding bullets "AAAARGH! You really are an annoying #$%&+!" she exclaims towards Elsa.
"Then come and get me, you little psycho #$%&+" Elsa replies with a smirk on her face "Night Wolf, you follow me" she tells him, to which he nods in response.
"Of course" the Night Wolf replies and then looks at the Royal Guard "Royal Guard, head to that battleground and assist King Deadpool!" he gives the order, to which the rest of the crew nod in agreement, standing up and heading to the other building where the other battle is raging on.
"Now let's spring a trap for this little spider" Elsa mutters as she and the Night Wolf leave the scene, running away from the tower and head back inside the streets, counting on Itsy Bitsy following them.
"May I ask what's your plan, milady?" the Night Wolf asks her as they jump at couple of cars to take cover, just as Itsy Bitsy shoots her guns at them.
"We'll just take her to the one who can get rid of her" Elsa replies, jumping from the car to catch Itsy Bitsy's attention.
"HEY! Where are you going?" Itsy Bitsy screams just as she shoots a web-line to catch her, but the line is immediately broken by the Night Wolf's claws "You people are really, REALLY annoying! No wonder you kept kissing Deadpool's ass!" she complains as she keeps on chasing them, aiming to catch them, yet unaware that all of this is part of Elsa Bloodstone's plan.
BACK WITH DEADPOOL AND THE OTHERS
The heroes are trying their best to handle themselves in the heat of the battle, but Sauron's experiments on these volunteers that now settle his new Royal Guard are paying off. Spidey tries to deal with Tyrnakko, avoiding being hit by his mace but his punches fail to provide the necessary impact and while he makes him tumble, he still cannot drop him down.
"You know, sometimes I feel like I wish I was fighting the Juggernaut instead of guys like these" Spidey quips while he dodges a strike of Tyrnakko's mace.
"That's the worst case of Khaloymes, seriously" Kitty banters while she fights against Aviara, phasing through her attacks but the punches she lands barely affect her rival.
"Well, we could swap enemies, Webs" Wade comments while he tries to kick Rosendrach but he does not even move "Really!? Not even a kick!? It was insulting enough not to be included in the last chapter but now I have to deal with someone who can't even chafe with a kick!?" he complains, but Rosendrach simply replies by lifting his hammer and swinging at Wade "WHOA! Hey!" he complains but tries to jump away and strike back.
Meanwhile, Lockheed and Jeff try their best to avoid being cut by Necrosquid's Axes, with quick moves and fireballs but both companions fail to get an opening to strike back at the dark creature, all the while Sauron and Octerra behold the battle from a distance.
"Octerra, let's move this fight away" Sauron orders his tentacle monster to act, obeying immediately by extending his tentacles to grab each one of the heroes and throw them out of the rooftop. Spidey reacts in time to catch Kitty and use his webs to create a cushion while Lockheed catches Jeff, yet Deadpool takes the blunt of the fall and crashes against the bridge of Sauron's Tower's main entrance, right back where things started for all of them "Now, Octerra, one last swing at them, right to the Acid Pits!" he orders to finish them, but before Octerra could make his move, the four silhouettes reach the place and drop their cargo at them, with the sound of a 'Snikt' being heard followed by a growl and a slash. Octerra growls in pain as his tentacles fall, followed by the 'thud' of a man landing "What!? What happened!? Who…?" he complains, trying to discover what happened but discovers the answer and all he can do is groan "NOT YOU! NOT YOU!"
"Thought you get rid of us that easily, Bub?" Wolverine stares angrily at Sauron while he points his claws at him, but manages to look at Spidey and Kitty "Hey, you two are doing good?" he asks them while he keeps his guard up.
"Doing fine, thanks" Kitty replies while she stands by Wolverine's side and Spidey jumps to the other side.
"Sorry it took so long, we ran into some complications" Spidey adds "Please tell me you brought reinforcements" he adds, to which Logan smirks as a response.
"You could say so" Wolverine replies and as if on cue, Aviara is hit by a barrage of shots from Quentin Quire's psychic shotgun, followed by Rosendrach being knocked down by a double punch from Colossus and right then Necrosquid is hit by a barrage of shots from Domino, with all of X-Force already facing off the group.
"And they're not alone!" Wade's voice attracts the attention of Sauron and the rest, now looking at Wade still recovering but now flanked by his Royal Guard "I call your Royal Guard, and I raise you with my Royal Guard, the Canadian Furry McStabby, Boris Metalsnov, 99 Lives Quire, Miss Sassy Beats, the Ninja Cat, my Spidey-Buddy, the dragon AND the cutest Baby Land Shark in this Multiverse" he quips while the rest of the Royal Guard surround Sauron's Royal Guard, showing how the phrase 'Strength in Numbers' is taken very seriously in Deadpool's Kingdom.
Things are now ready to heat up in Monster Island! On one side, Elsa and Night Wolf have taken Itsy Bitsy away for a secret plan…what's on Elsa's mind? What could possibly work against that crazy Spider-Psycho?
And on the other side, Sauron just bumped into a very heavy number disadvantage: It's Him, alongside his "Royal Guard" (Octerra, Tyrnakko, Aviara, Rosendrach and Necrosquid) against Spider-Man, Shadowcat, Deadpool, Lockheed, Jeff the Baby Land Shark, X-Force (Wolverine, Colossus, Domino and Quentin Quire) and Wade's Royal Guard (Quonian, Bün-Bün, Kohlaab, Zrrgo son of Orrgo the Unconquerable and Chet Morita). That's a 14-to-6 Handicap!
I think it's safe to say that Sauron's Kingdom is about to end abruptly and lasted way less than a day, so come and join me next chapter when we discover just how painful will the end be for him!
