Basikov tells Lareneg, "Just like last time with Mirkwood, watch over the North for me. The army and I shall be going to Rivendell to attack."

Basikov rallies his armed forces and they head to Rivendell. They find a jagged path that lead them on the way down. "Remember the plan" Basikov says. "Climb up and attack." Basikov has his Fell Beast, nearby if the plan messes up.

The Barrow Wights crawl up the structure, and start killing elves by surprise. Many screams happened, and Elrond and the soldiers of Rivendell realize that they must get ready for a battle.

Elrond says "Get your bows. Get your arrows. Get your swords. Fight or there will be no tomorrow." Elrond tells his two sons "Go get help. She should be close as she was on visit here. I will hold them off."

Elrond heads to the area where the Barrow Wights attacked, and slices down two of the soldiers over there. However, Elrond realizes that he has fallen into Basikov's plan. Many Barrow Wights are crawling up. It was an infestation. Some soldiers came to Elrond's aid. He tells some of them "Go to areas with the Women and Children, and protect them at all costs." "The rest of you, hold off as many of them as possible." With all the stressful events going on, he realized that his daughter is nowhere in sight. He realizes that he must find her before she goes to the wrong place in battle."

Arwen and some other soldiers gather some weapons. She says "I know I may not be the best fighter, but if we lose our land, we will have no tomorrow."

As they head out of a storage room, Basikov climbs up on a ledge with six bodyguards.

Arwen says "They're Orcs, let's slash them down like we, elves do all the time."

Basikov smirks underneath the helmet. He says "Bodyguards, stand back. He pulls out his scythe, and slashes down the first elf that charges at him. Another elf attempts an attack from behind, but he stabs the elf with his knife finger. The last one tries to get his bow ready, but his carelessness makes him go in front of Basikov's bodyguards and they stab him with their glaives before he could even get ready.

Arwen realizes that she had made a huge mistake. She knows her inexperienced fighting is no match against Basikov but there is no turning back. She pulls out an elven sword and nervously attacks. The two clash swords, but she is not ready for what happens next. He kicks her in the knee. With sharp toes, the kick left a nasty scratch on her knee. She cries in pain. She puts her arm in the way of Basikov but he cuts her arm with his knife finger.

Elrond sees where Arwen is. He sees her lying in pain, and Basikov getting ready for a finishing blow with his scythe. Elrond jumps and takes Basikov with him to the floor. As Basikov gets back up, Elrond recovers from his tumble and says "I take it, you wish for a more fair fight."

Basikov directs two of his bodyguards to attack. While Basikov's guards are a challenge for most elves, Elrond successfully takes out both.

Basikov pulls out his sword and the two begin to collide. Elrond was able to hold his ground, but is still getting caught by surprise because Basikov is mimicking the fighting style of Elrond.

The fight is leaving both in a stalemate. Elrond and Basikov for a split second stop the clash as both notice a light flash. The two resume their battle.

Elrond's sons rush down, and tell their father "We brought help." Outcame Galadriel, who was already on her way of visiting Rivendell.

Basikov says "There is no way you came here this fast."

Galadriel says "I was already on my way, and you gave me good reason to get here faster" While coming with Elrond's two sons.

Basikov feels glad that he had some things included in the plan. She destroys two bodyguards into dust with her magic. While she is doing that, Basikov says "So long." As he whistles for his Fell Beast and jumps on to make his escape. Basikov's other two bodyguards climb down to make their escape.

Basikov shouts "Retreat". While many Barrow Wights begin to climb down, some continue fighting, only for Galadriel to obliterate them

As the Barrow Wights make their retreat, one of Elrond's sons ask "Should we follow them?"

Elrond says, "No, we will only get ambushed by them. We have lived to fight another day." "However, I need you to contact someone."

Basikov and the remaining personnel back to North Barrow Downs.

Lareneg asks "Was it a success?"

Basikov ignores him and goes to the Palantir. He tells Sauron "I have both good and bad news."

Sauron says "You lost the battle. You better tell me what is your good news."

Basikov says "Yes, I have lost the battle, but the good news is that this is not entirely a victory for the elves. The army of Rivendell has suffered major casualties, and are in no shape for another battle in a long time. Victory, does not only come from the Battlefield."

Sauron says "You may not have won, but you have still successfully executed our plan. The elves of Rivendell are no longer relevant to mess up our plans. As long as our enemies are severely weakened, I am satisfied. The Witch King shall arrive to your place, and the time has come."

Elrond asks in an angry voice "What were you thinking?"

Arwen crying says "They were just Orcs, and I have heard how dumb orcs are and that you have slashed so many down, I did not think you need any skills."

Elrond says in a more calm voice "Those were not Orcs, but Barrow Wights."

Arwen says in a confused voice "I thought Leader Lartuen is a neutral leader and he is keeping them out of battle."

Elrond says in a disappointed voice "Lartuen has been dead for years. He was overthrown by someone known as Basikov."

Arwen says in a curious voice "Why have you avoided telling all of us about this?"

Elrond says ashamed "When Basikov came to power, I thought it was relatively unimportant as it came from a poor place with no history directly involved with Rivendell. Soon after, he did an attack on Mirkwood and committed genocide on their people. I heard the rest are in North Barrow Downs labor camps. It is the first time we, elves have ever experienced a hard defeat like that. I thought that keeping it hidden, would keep the pride of the elves. Not to put them in a state of fear. Now, we need someone to get rid of Basikov, before he can cause more damage. If Sauron every tries to attack Rivendell or anywhere else, he will most certainly get Basikov involved in his battles, as Basikov is dangerous and calculating, with him around, we may have no chance on larger scale battles."

Aragorn enter the meeting room. Aragorn asks Arwen if she is alright.

Arwen says "They are nasty scratches, but they will heal."

Elrond says "Aragorn, I have summoned you, because of a problem, that may become massive in the future. If Basikov, the Elven Slayer, the Elven Hunter, the Reaper, stands in the future, than Middle Earth may fall"

As much as I hate to say it but he is no creature. A creature would not be this intelligent to make a fair and proud race collapse in confidence. I just wanted to tell you that we are finally going on the offensive Aragorn, we need you to go into North Barrow Downs, and take out Basikov."

Aragorn said "If this foe is skilled at slaughtering elves, than someone different could throw him off guard."

Elrond said "Yes, but never let your guard down. He may be no wizard or sorceress, but with intelligence like that, don't lower your expectations."

Aragorn said, "I will take some other rangers and we shall perform a sneak attack."
