Chapter 12
A Visit to the Past
Everyone slowly but surely got up onto their feet and looked around.
"This is the world of the past," Usagi said, as she dusted herself off.
"Everybody okay?" Sora asked the others.
The others groaned a bit, but nodded their heads at him.
"How about you, Sailor Saturn?" asked Usagi.
"Yes… It's nothing," she replied, but took Sora's hand as he gently pulled her up.
She slowly began looking around her surroundings.
"Where are we?" asked Hotaru.
"This is Earth in the past," replied Haruka, who approached with Michiru at her side.
Everyone slowly looked around them, and were amazed by what they were seeing.
"Whoa!" said Sora, as he looked in awe.
"I agree Sora," replied Michiru, making Haruka chuckle.
But then Rei turned and looked behind them.
"Someone's coming!" she said to them.
But Sora gently walked forward and stood beside her, without summoning his keyblade as a woman approached them.
"Greetings from afar to you, the future Queen, Princess to all the Sailor Goddesses, and to the guardians of the World Order," she said to them.
"Radina?" gasped Roxas.
"How do you know who I am?" she asked.
"Sorry," replied Roxas.
"No, no, it's alright, but we have been waiting for you. Please follow me to my house," Radina said kindly, then she walked past them.
"You must have spent a lot of energy travelling through time and space. It would be a good idea to rest and recuperate," she added with a kind smile.
"So what should we do?" Haruka asked the others.
"We follow her to her house, and accept her hospitality," replied Sora.
Everyone nodded, but Usagi seemed hesitant.
"But, we shouldn't follow people that we don't know. That's what my mother always told me," warned Usagi.
"You worry too much, Usagi. Both Sailor Venus and I managed to save her from the darkness before. And besides, she's someone that we can trust," replied Roxas.
"I'm with Roxas on this one. We've met her before, but she was a spectre then," agreed Minako.
Haruk nodded, as she slowly walked after her.
"Okay, let's go! I can't sense any darkness within her heart," she said to them.
Everyone nodded, and followed Haruka, but Usagi sometimes tended to lag behind them. When she realized she had been left behind, she quickly raced after them.
"Wait up, you guys!" she called after them.
Elsewhere in the valley, Sin and her cohorts, Nabu, Marduk, Nergal, and Ishtar were all gathered together.
"This is foolish. Surely the Heroes of LIght have already snatched it away from him," she said with a dark glare in her eyes.
"You mean Demande? I'm starting to wonder where he's gone off to," murmured Nabu.
"Hey, sorry for not scaring them off. I should have known they would be unwilling to back down," piped in Nergal.
"But, The Rose Crystal must not fall into their hands, unless I'd be willing to seduce that Roxas guy," Ishtar said with a light giggle.
"You guys may be right," replied Sin.
"But mustn't go to rewrite Destiny. It would be a fool's errand," interjected Marduk.
"What's done is done. If we did try to rewrite Destiny in this time, we'd simply fade into nothingness," warned Nabu.
Then Marduk approached Sin.
"Your primary objective is to find the Rose Crystal, and deliver it to us," she said to the leader of the Opposite Soldiers.
"Now hold your horses Marduk. We're running out of time," warned Nergal.
"That's right, we mustn't go after our adversaries immediately. Let's go and find Lord Demande," added Sin.
Raising her hand outward, she opened a corridor of darkness, and walked in with Nergal and Marduk.
"Oh, this is going to be difficult," complained Ishtar.
"In either case, you know that it'll be impossible to try and obtain the Rose Crystal," replied Nabu.
Then they walked into the corridor of darkness as well.
Inside the familiar house Roxas and Minako visited before in the present, everyone stood at attention.
"I'll introduce myself to all of you again. I am the Sage Radina. You're arrival here in this time has been foretold, Future Heroes of Light," she said.
"Oh wow, This is cool. If Destiny's rewritten, maybe we can have you predict what comes next," smirked Haruka.
"Yes, a sage can do such a thing. Even Lady Beryl has that power as well," replied Radina.
"Right, way back before she met Metallia," murmured Sora, so that she couldn't hear him.
"You mean, the same Beryl?" gasped Usagi.
But Ami quickly silenced her, by making a silencing gesture with her hand.
"Right, sorry," giggled Usagi.
"Now then, Heroes of Light. This is the beginning of your journey, so please use my house freely for whatever you need. Whatever you want to do is fine with me. If you find that nothing makes any sense to you whatsoever, I'm more than happy to answer any questions you have for me. I will show you the way you should go. That is the duty of a Sage. I will be in the Temple of Venus. Fare well," Radina said with a warm smile.
The others nodded as they watched Radina leave.
"Okay guys, Let's go and look for that Rose Crystal," said Rei.
"Hold up! If we all start going together, it'll cause great suspicion," warned Michiru.
"Michiru's right, it's best that we go in separate groups. That way some of us will try to find clues that can help us locate the Rose Crystal," said Sora.
Luna nodded, and with a swish of her tail, beckoned everyone to the back of the house.
"Ok Sailor Moon, I need you to take whomever shall go with you on this mission," said Luna.
"Now hold on for just a minute!" squeaked Chibiusa.
"Is something wrong, Sailor Chibi Moon?" asked Usagi.
"I want to go with you as well. I want to try and find the Rose Crystal as well. So please, take me with you, I have to go with you as well, for Mamo's sake," replied the pinkette.
Usagi was about to protest, when Riku gently placed his hand upon her shoulder.
"Let her come, Usagi. Both her heart, and her mind are made up," he said to her.
"Huh, how about that? It's so strange, you're so much like Sailor Moon and Sora combined," mused Rei.
"You're right, they're mother and daughter after all, but they're so much like Sora and Riku," added Minako.
"W-what are you saying?" Usagi asked with a shy giggle.
Even everyone started laughing.
"It's true what they say. You, Chibiusa, Riku, and I. We're more like kindred spirits," said Sora.
"Well, if Sora and Chibiusa are going, I'll go too," piped in Riku.
"In that case, Xion, Minako, Hotaru, Haruka, and I will go," said Roxas.
"If something happens just come back here, and we'll give any of your pals medical attention while someone else goes with you," smirked Axel.
"Artemis will be joining you in my stead," added Luna.
"I've been doing some searching around, but now that we're gathered together I want to do some more," he said to everyone else.
"Gotcha," replied Sora.
"At any rate, Artemis will be on standby here for everyone to return," said Luna.
"What, me?" asked the white cat.
But everyone shushed him.
"You're still looking at me like that, so I'll acknowledge your decision. I'll stay behind with the rest of our allies," Artemis said.
"Okay, Everyone else needs to rest and recuperate after our rough trek to the past. Artemis, stay with the rest of our friends. Everyone else, let's go and find that Rose Crystal," Sora said to his comrades.
"Roger that," replied Usagi.
"Oh and Artemis, take care of everyone else," Luna said with a friendly smile.
"Same to you, Luna. May your heart be your guiding key," replied Artemis.
Then Luna rushed out to join Usagi, Sora and their friends. Once they left Radina's village, they began making their way towards the Rose Crystal in the hopes that Mamoru would be saved from the darkness. There were the occasional swarms of Heartless that tried to stop them, as well as the Black Moon Droids that accompanied them, but they were able to beat them pretty easily, until they came to a familiar face Usagi and Chibiusa knew too well.
"Rubeus!" gasped Usagi.
The red-haired man bearing the symbol of the Black Moon Clan upon his forehead stood with a wicked grin.
"This time, you will all perish, Heroes of Light!" he sneered.
Suddenly Rubeus's eyes fell upon Chibiusa.
"Long time no see, Little Rabbit. It's so good to see you again. And I see you've also become a Sailor Goddess. So congratulations," he said in a false casual tone.
"Tell me why you've become a puppet of the Opposite Soldiers!" snapped Chibiusa.
"Opposite Soldiers?" Rubeus asked in confusion.
He shook his head at them.
"I'm not with those guys," he said with his hands held at either side of him.
"Then you must know something about the Rose Crystal!" snapped Usagi.
"If I did, I wouldn't plan on telling you about this gemstone now, would I? It would be better this time if instead of talking, I eliminated you all," he said with a smirk.
"I guess a puppet wouldn't really know," remarked Sora.

Rubeus glared at the brunette keyblade wielder.
"So what if I'm a puppet," he said.
Then his hand began radiating with dark power as Sora glared at him with his Kingdom Key held at the ready.
"Once upon a time, you were too!" Rubeus said.
He then sent dark flares at Sora who quickly lunged right at him. Quickly summoning his dark blade, Rubeus braced himself and engaged Sora in a deadly clash of blades, that none of his friends could be able to keep up with. Rubeus charged towards Sora who blocked each blow with his keyblade and dodged it with careful precision. He struck at Rubeus again, but the red-haired man sidestepped it, and twirled his sword in his hand. Sora swung furiously at him, but Rubeus quickly jumped away forcing the brunette Keyblade Master charge after him and try to strike with a killing blow. Rubeus side stepped it again, but Sora dodged a killing blow, and their blades locked against each other as they glared into each other's eyes. Sailor Moon tried to help Sora, but the distraction allowed him to push Rubeus back so that he could pursue him.
"Sora, let us help you!" she called to him.
But Haruka stopped him.
"Hey, what are you doing?" she snapped at the other blonde.
"Yeah, Uranus, we gotta help him!" added Hotaru.
"No we don't! If we interfere he'll lose!" Haruka said.
"That's right, he's got this," piped in Riku.
Usagi glanced back at the silverette in confusion.
"Rubeus is a puppet of the Black Moon Clan. Even though he's come back from the darkness," explained Riku.
"A puppet!? You mean he's being controlled!?" gasped Usagi.
"Usagi, calm down," piped in Chibiusa.
"So what you're saying is that he's being controlled," remarked Haruka.
"Riku, does Sora know about Rubeus?" asked Minako.
"One would think," replied Riku.
"Then you're right. He's got this," she said blissfully.
"Why! I don't get it? Why can't we help him?" complained Usagi.
"Best keep it to ourselves," replied Haruka.
"Nothing makes sense to me!" she shouted.
"Geez Usagi! Give it a rest!" snapped Chibiusa.
"Even us guys don't know either," said Roxas.
"Back when we fought Black Moon, we all felt the strength that we had when we fought against Death Phantom. It's been sometime after that, but already that feeling has faded away. But Sora, I know he still has that in his heart," explained Minako.
"Fine, he's got ten minutes," said Haruka.
"But I know that Sora can win, I've seen it before," piped in Hotaru.
"Sora is Sora," smiled Minako.
Sora quickly recovered his keyblade and transformed it into Oathkeeper. He smirked as he summoned Oblivion into his left hand achieving his double form. He then lunged at Rubeus, and the two warriors engaged in another clash of blades that seemed fierce and could be won if one gave ground. Then Sora and Rubeus locked blades again, but as Sora swung Oblivion at him, Rubeus caught the other Keyblade in his right hand and stopped it from cutting him down. Both combatants jumped back and landed a good few feet away from them. Glaring furiously into each other's eyes, they stood for a good few seconds. Then Rubeus raced towards Sora, and jumped towards him. At the same time, Sora combined his two keyblades into one, and formed Two Become One. Spinning it over his head, he held it to his side, as it began to radiate with power. With a mighty roar, Rubeus was prepared to strike down Sora, when he didn't realize that it was too late.
"FINISHING TOUCH!" shouted Sora.
Rubeus now knew that he had greatly underestimated Sora once again, as he was sent flying and landed hard on the ground, battered, weary, and beaten. Sora jumped to where he landed, and readied himself to finish off the puppet, just as he was slowly getting back up. He watched him charge forward, but the exertion was too much for him to handle that he collapsed into Sora's left arm, and his sword clattered to the ground. Rubeus's breathing became much more labored as he felt Sora's hand upon his arm.
"So, it seems that… the Black Moon clan will never endure," he said as he fell motionless.

Then Sora watched as he faded away into nothingness, just as his friends came to his side. They were all surprised to see that Rubeus had been defeated by the Keyblade Master, but Sailor Moon smiled at him, and gave him a friendly hug.
"You did it Sora," she said.
"Yeah, you weren't half bad, Sora," admitted Haruka.
"Are you kidding me!? He was all great!" cheered Minako, accidentally sending the third blonde flying back, that she collapsed looking all dazed and surprised.
But they knew they had a job to do. And they soon pressed onwards to the cave where Minako found the Ark. Just like before they felt themselves being transported onto the deck of the Ark, and Sora was amazed at what he was seeing. Then they all went to the bridge where Usagi looked around curiously.
"Where are we?" she asked.
"This is the main bridge of the ark," replied Minako.
Sora and Usagi soon walked up to a glowing orb that was at the main control console.
"Any idea as to how we'll make it move?" asked Sora.
"We can use this round crystal," said Minako.
Then Usagi walked towards it, and curiously placed her hand upon the crystal.
"Guess Sailor Moon should pilot it," said Riku.
"You really think so?" asked Usagi.
"Yeah, it took me a while to pilot the Gummi Ship, So I know that you can fly this ship. All you need to do is place your hand upon the crystal," Sora said.
Then, as if to make his point clear, Sora gently took Usagi's hand, and placed it upon the crystal. Usagi was about to say that she couldn't fly it, when she suddenly heard something that sounded like the roaring of a thousand lions.
"What the heck is that noise!?" she gasped.
"The ark has begun to move!" replied Minako.
Sora quickly raced out to the deck and was surprised to see that they were flying over the land above. With some careful instruction from Riku, Usagi was now able to fly the ship over the land below them, as Minako joined Sora on the deck.
"This is awesome!" he said excitedly.
"Yeah, but it's also beautiful," she admitted, as she gently placed her hand on the keyblade master's shoulder.
Thanks to Riku's guidance on how to pilot the ark, Usagi was able to fly it more comfortably and flew to the north pole. Once they had landed, they off boarded the ship and walked slowly to a strange looking castle. But when they approached it, two guards quickly stopped them.
"This is the castle of the great sage Lady Beryl," they said.
Usagi was furious.
"Oh c'mon, we got this far, please let us in," she said.
"Wait a second," Sora said to her, then pulled her back.
"Were sorry for bothering you gentlemen," he said politely to the guards.
The guards nodded as they walked away and hid to the side.
"Looks like we'll have to find a different way inside," Sora said to her.
"Wait a minute, Sora you're a genius!" gasped Luna.
Everyone looked at the dark cat in confusion.
"Try using your disguise Pen to change your appearance, Sailor Moon," suggested Luna.
Usagi nodded, and pulled out the pen Luna had given her.
"Turn me into a beautiful attendant!" she said.
Then her Sailor Goddess outfit vanished and she was now dressed in the clothes of a maid.
"The rest of us will be on standby to keep the Heartless busy. Good luck to you both," said Luna.
Then the disguised Usagi and Sora walked back to the castle gates. The guards were shocked, but Sora quickly stepped forward with a scroll he had written.
"Here are the credentials of the new attendant that will answer Lady Beryl's summons. She shall be here under a contract and attend to any duties that the sage shall give her for the time being. So says his imperial highness, Lord Endymion," Sora said in a grand manner.
The two guards nodded and allowed them to pass. Once they had entered Beryl's castle, they took this opportunity to search around for her private chambers. When they had arrived, Sora quickly took cover, while Usagi watched in shock and horror. There was Beryl as she was before Metallia had taken control of her heart and fused her with pure darkness walking to the balcony of her chamber.
"Lord Endymion, please tell me that your heart belongs to me," sobbed the future leader of the Dark Kingdom.
She glanced behind her.
"They're not even led away by the power of darkness from that comet. So, how many of these people don't wish to join my side?" Beryl said with a smirk.
But suddenly she sensed that someone was inside.
"Who's there!?" she barked.
Slowly but carefully, Usagi and Sora emerged from the shadows.
"A new attendant and a general for your army, my liege," Sora and Usagi said as they bowed to her.
"Ah, is that so? And yet, you look like someone I know so well, but you I do not recognize at all, you seem to be different, and dressed in a rather strange outfit," observed Beryl.
She then motioned for them to stand at her side so that they could talk. Sora and Usagi nodded, and walked to her side.
"This dark comet is approaching," said Beryl.
Sora and Usagi exchanged a glance, but continued to look upon it.
"Because of it, the darkness has begun to burst out of this world. And soon, the meteor shower will fall. Isn't it beautiful? It must be an unlucky sign. In due time, the being called Darkness will awaken. And when it does, and Darkness is not contained… If I don,'t… it would be better if we were to return to the darkness from whence we came, I think. Both the Moon KIngdom, the Earth Kingdom, myself, and everyone, and… That person in any form would be all right, so I shall claim this power as my own. That's what I think I should do for the power of darkness. This meteor's power can be used to influence others," she said.
"Actually, if love is captured with darkness, it won't be considered an act of true love, but an act of selfishness. So don't quit on your task!" replied Sora.
"You have my thanks, young man. I had a feeling you'd say the same thing as the girl she resembles. You may take your leave," said Beryl.
Usagi and Sora nodded and left her chamber. After they left, Usagi quickly changed back into Sailor Moon, once they were out of sight.
"What did you two find out?" asked Luna.
"Nothing at all," admitted Sora.
"Beryl didn't even give us a clue as to where the Rose Crystal is located. But she did tell me about something," added Usagi.
But Sora shook his head.
"No way, Usagi. Even if we did stop Beryl in this timeline, we'd create a future that we wouldn't recognize so well. So for everyone's sake, including Sailor Pluto's, we must let the thought of becoming Arbiters of Fate cloud our judgement," he said in a tone of voice that brooked no arguments.
"I agree with Sora. We mustn't let anyone change what Destiny has guided the people of this time into. We, in this time, must not succumb to that desire no matter how tempting it may be. There is a history that everyone knows. If we did anything to alter the course of history, it would surely lead to unforeseeable consequences," added Luna.
"I hear you, Luna," squeaked Chibiusa.
"Even I don't think Beryl is all that evil, no matter what anyone says," piped in Hotaru.
"But that still doesn't excuse the fact that she massacred the entire Moon Kingdom," said Riku.
"Beryl is also concerned," piped in Minako.
"It's bad luck, after all we've seen here," added Haruka.
"But those Opposite Soldiers are still following the wishes of their hearts from the timeline they came from," said Roxas.
"That's right, if we decided to give up our will to fight for peace, everyone and everything would be lost to us forever," agreed Xion.
"IT's probably best that we head back to the ark. No matter what happens, we can't let ourselves rewrite destiny, or stoop to Sin's level of madness," said Sora.
"I understand, Sora. Let's go," replied Usagi.
The others nodded and decided to press on. They visited the four castles of the four kings of Heaven, where they saw Nephrite, Kunzite, Zoisite, and Jadeite before they were corrupted by the dark power Metallia, whilst holding back on rewriting destiny. When they returned to the ark once more, Usagi took them into deep space, where they saw the Moon Kingdom in its entirety. Carefully anchoring themselves on the outskirts of the city, they soon landed on the ground. Sora was amazed to see the kingdom in its full glory, but remembered the vision Queen Serenity showed him and his friends. Luckily Luna was able to tell Usagi to use her Disguise Pen to change her into an attendant so that they could walk freely in the city. When they walked into the castle, Sora marveled at the design of the building, and wondered if Mickey could ever want to make Disney Castle look as beautiful as the castle they were walking in, but he dismissed those thoughts from his mind. They soon came to a familiar scene that Serenity had shown them, when they defeated Kunzite after he became Beryl's puppet.
"Listen to me, The sorceress Beryl, has now taken control of the people of Earth. Soon she will have both the Earth and the Moon under her control," Endymion said.
Princess Serenity nodded sadly.
"No matter what happens, we can't hold back," continued the young prince, as he held the woman he loved in his arms.
Sora brushed back the tears that flowed down his cheeks, and walked away.
"Sora," whispered Usagi as she watched him with concern in her eyes.
Slowly and quietly she followed him, not even daring to disturb both her's and Mamoru's past selves. She gently pulled Sora towards her in a comforting hug, and he returned the embrace just so that he knew that she was there for him as his friend. After calming down, he motioned for his friends to follow him into the chamber of Queen Serenity.
"Is something wrong, daughter? Why in the world are you wearing the garments of an attendant?" she asked.
Usagi looked confused, but shook her head defiantly.
"You're not the Princess, are you," admitted Serenity.
Usagi was about to explain, but the queen raised her hand and stopped her.
"It's all right, I already know who you are, daughter," she said.
Realizing that she couldn't keep up the charade for long, Usagi changed into Sailor Moon, just as the rest of her friends entered the chamber.
"This child is my daughter, and these are my friends," Usagi said to her real mother.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Chibiusa," the pinkette said cheerily.
Queen Serenity smiled at the young girl.
"She's so adorable," she said with a light giggle.
Then she thanked them, and decided to embrace this meeting into her heart.
"Queen Serenity, please take care," Usagi said with a sad smile.
Then she bolted out of the room with tears rolling down her cheeks, making everyone follow her. But Sora decided to remain behind.
"May I ask who you are?" Serenity said to him.
"Oh, uh… my name's Sora," he said as he placed his hands behind his head.
"Then, can you tell me how you know my daughter?" Serenity asked again
"It's because, sometime later in the future, she and I will become great friends. Friends who are connected to each other by a strong chain of light that can't be broken," explained Sora.
Suddenly, Sora noticed Queen Serenity was about to cry, and gently rested her hand upon her shoulder.
"Please don't cry. I know you're scared," he assured the queen.
"How do you know I'm scared?" she asked curiously.
"Because I know that later on, you will tell us about the history of the Moon Kingdom, and what will become of it. And for that, I'm really, really sorry. But I promise you this, I will make your daughter's future a bright one, so that she and Endymion can be happy together. However, unlike Beryl, I choose to stay at her side, and not let myself be consumed by lust just as she did. I acknowledge your daughter because one day, she will be a great leader. She'll be able to bring happiness to those who need it, and even if her duties get in the way of her family, Endymion will make sure that she can balance her life as both a leader and an individual, so that everyone will know that she'll protect everything that she holds most dear to her heart, and that her family will continue your legacy, even after you pass away and become one with Kingdom Hearts. So never forget, that I'll still make sure that she's happy, no matter what. And it won't just be me, but others as well. And maybe someday, your daughter will tell her future child the story of how Sora, the legendary Keyblade Master was able to destroy the darkness, to my own children," Sora said.
"Your children?" asked Serenity.
"Yeah, the children that I may one day have with the girls I've met in my travels. And I know that even if you and Serenity's father never met, it would not only mean that she wouldn't be born, but she wouldn't be the person we all know and love, that's a biological fact. But still, I'm gonna make sure that Princess Serenity will become a great queen, who rules with kindness and love in her heart," explained Sora.
"Thank you, Sir Sora," replied Serenity.
Then she gently hugged him, making Sora feel a bit awkward, but he returned the embrace and they parted ways. Then Sora left something for Serenity that made her shed a tear. It was a beautiful blue rose. He carefully passed it to her, and she accepted it wholeheartedly.
"I'd better get going. Until then, may your heart be your guiding key, your majesty," Sora said to her with a smile.
"May your heart be your guiding key as well, Sir Sora," replied Queen Serenity, as she watched him walking out.
In the antechamber, Usagi was silently weeping tears of sorrow.
"It's hopeless. She'll die as well," she sobbed.
"I know Usagi, and I'm really sorry. But there's nothing we can do to prevent it, no matter how much we try. Even though Queen Serenity's your real mom, she's also aware of this, just like we all are. That's why we swore to never let her sacrifice be in vain, no matter what," replied Sora.
"You're right Sora. No matter what happens, she'll end up giving her life to save those she holds most dear. Such sad events are to happen in this time period. Now let's go and find the Rose Crystal so that we can save Mamo," said Usagi.
The others nodded in agreement, and walked off to board the ark and return to Earth. They had just managed to return to the Kainess in Switzerland, where Aqua and Ami visited to recover Zoisite's stone. They landed safely in the crystal gorge, and began their long trek through it, while also taking out any heartless and Droids that dared to hinder their progress. At last they were able to reach a cave that had stairs going down it, but suddenly stopped to see a dragon surging towards them. It had a scaly green body, and reddish hair on it's head.
"Everyone, prepare yourselves!" Sora said to his friends.

The Dragon swooped down towards Sora, but Minako fired several crescent beams at it, while Haruka unleashed her World Shaking attack upon it. It quickly backed off, but Sailor Saturn quickly jumped up and thrust her glaive into it's back making it cry out in pain, while Sora, Roxas, Riku, and Xion all worked together to take it down by striking at it with their keyblades. Sailors Moon and Chibi Moon quickly unleashed a combination of their Pink Sugar-Heart and Moon Spiral Heart Attacks upon the dragon, causing it to roar furiously and attempt to smash Hotaru into the wall, but Sora quickly grabbed the Sailor Goddess of Destruction and Revolution and get her safely to the ground.
"Thank you Sora," she said sweetly to him.
Minako nodded her understanding towards Sora but she still had to fight. Seizing her chance, she jumped from spire to spire, firing several Crescent beams from her finger tip, while Haruka jumped back and sent several Space Sword Blasters right at the dragon, managing to wound it. Just as the dragon was about to strike at Sora's blonde girlfriend, Minako jumped clear and began firing crescent beams in the dragon's face, while darting this way and that as it tried to shake her off. Then Riku performed a strike raid with his keyblade, causing it to slash through its body, as he landed upon it's left arm, then jumped off so that he could recover his keyblade. He then landed in a crouch, just in time to see it charging up a fire breath attack right at him.
"Oh no you don't!" shouted Hotaru, as she plunged her Silence Glaive into the back of its neck.
The Dragon then sent a massive fireball surging towards the wall, causing Riku to glance up to see Chibiusa blasting the Heartless to dust with her Pink Sugar Heart Attack at full power. The wall began to fall towards Chibiusa, making her panic, but Roxas grabbed her hand and managed to get her to safety.
"Thanks Roxas," she called the blonde keybearer.
But Roxas only gave her a worrying glance, as he focused on the dragon. Everyone stood winded, but they knew that they had to beat it with everything they had.
"My turn," he said.

With Oathkeeper and Oblivion in hand, Roxas jumped at the dragon, as it turned to face him. He swung furiously at it with Oblivion, but the dragon stopped his attack and forced him back. Roxas struck at it more furiously than before, then he jumped down, and combined his two keyblades into one. He held it in a reverse grip, then twirled it around in his hand so that he held it tightly in both of his own, and he lunged furiously at the dragon as he struck it with even more drive to his blows. The dragon tried to strike back, but Roxas concentrated his will power into a powerful downward slash, that sent the beast crashing to the ground in a crumpled heap. He then landed in a crouch and rose instantly to his feet, just in time to see that the dragon wasn't willing to go down without a fight. Roaring furiously, it began to charge up another fire blast, which made everyone worried, but Sora only smirked at his brother, knowing that he could defeat it, as the dragon rose up into the sky above.
"You got this Roxas," he said.
A safe distance away, Sin stood with a smirk as she watched Roxas's battle.
"This is too fun, girls! Any requests for the next act?" she asked the rest of the Opposite Soldiers.
But they were surprised to see Anshar emerge from the corridor of darkness, causing them all to be surprised.
"Brother," gasped Sin.
"We still have work to do, sister," reminded her brother.
He opened a portal and blasted them inside, while the dragon continued to rise up into the sky. Roxas, not wanting to see his friends be killed, jumped after it, then grabbed Chibiusa's hand.
"Alley-oop!" she said to him.
The Momentum allowed him to reach the dragon so that he could strike at it, but he soon started falling back down, as he blocked a strike from it's lower talons. He landed on Sailor Saturn's Silence Glaive, as she used it to give him a boost.
"Giddyup!" Hotaru said.
The dragon still continued to rise until it would reach the highest point to unleash it's fire breath, just as Haruka and Minako lifted him higher. Even Sailor Moon gave him a boost by sending him up higher, along with Sora. Glaring furiously at the dragon, Roxas readied Two Become One as he reached Riku, took his hand, and allowed him to send him upwards.
"Fly!" the silverette said to him.
When the dragon had reached the highest altitude, it was now ready to unleash its firebreath attack, just as Xion jumped towards Roxas and took his hand.
"No giving up!" she said, and flung him upwards.
Then Roxas was now surging towards the dragon at hypersonic speeds, indicating that he had now broken the sound barrier as both he and the dragon continued towards each other at lightning speed. At last the dragon unleashed the biggest fireball at Roxas, and he soon plunged into it with his keyblade held at the ready. Below everyone stood watching in anticipation on the ground below him. Roxas felt the burning heat almost consume him, when he felt himself being contacted by Namine, who took his hand and gave him strength to burst through.
"Ready?" she asked.
The Fireball soon dissipated and Roxas emerged completely unscathed as he plunged his keyblade into the dragon's back, ran on top of it while dragging the blade across its back, then with a mighty roar he jumped off as he swung it upwards and held it at his side. The dragon soon began to collapse to the ground as everyone watched in awe and joy to see Roxas from above. As it crashed to the ground, it slowly began to revert to human form, to reveal a woman with emerald green hair, a short sleeveless black dress with matching gloves and boots, black earrings, an emerald necklace, and an emerald bracelet. Xion looked up to see Roxas landing before the woman who was surprised to see him, but she knew that face all too well, since their brawl with the Black Moon Clan.
"Esmeraude," Roxas said as he walked towards her with his keyblade near her throat.
Esmeraude slowly stood up, a bit dazed from the severe thrashing from her foes, but she began laughing haughtily at them.
"I've really been beaten this time. And yet, I'm surprised that you knew what I was, Roxas," she said.
But Sora stepped towards her.
"Out with it Esmeraude! Where is the Rose Crystal!?" he snapped at her.
But Esmeraude chuckled darkly.
"ANSWER ME!" shouted Sora.
"Oh, come now, boy. Let's try this one more time, shall we?" she asked.
"Listen to Sora, and give us back the Rose Crystal!" Usagi said to her.
"The Rose Crystal?" Esmeraude asked in a mocking tone.
She started laughing maniacally at them.
"Sorry to say this, but that little trinket your searching for is already in the hands of Lord Demande," she said.
"Yeah, sure, and what makes you think we'd find that shameful?" demanded Sora.
"Oh, is that so? Well, you'll all perish at my hands!" she stated with a wicked glint of pride on her face.
But she noticed that Chibiusa, Hotaru, and Haruka were with them.
"Last time we fought, there weren't this many Sailor Goddesses fighting alongside the Guardians of Kingdom Hearts. But, Oh well, I understand that fighting you two will seem more enjoyable. Now, let's end this!" Esmeraude said with a fiery rage.
"Whatever you say, Miss cake lover," Sora said with a smirk.
But suddenly Sora began to feel his power surging into him, as he transformed into his Final Form, making everyone but his four friends surprised. Esmeraude furiously sent several large rocks towards Sora, but he quickly carved through them.
"Is that Sora?" asked a stunned Haruka.
"It is, and that's one of his drive forms," replied Roxas.
"And it's called Final," added Riku.
They all watched as Esemraude and Sora charged at each other and locked their weapons against each other. Then they jumped back, but Sora surged towards her and began attacking her with everything he had with his two keyblades sending the green-haired woman flying back as he landed on the ground. But, Esmeraude refused to be defeated by him. She teleported behind him and tried to strike at him without him noticing, but he jumped clear, and sent her plummeting down to the ground with a loud explosion. As he landed on the ground, he felt Esmeraude pushing the ground up and tried to send him flying towards the cave wall, but Sora quickly carved through the ground, and surged towards her. Then they unleashed their most powerful energy based attacks against each other which resulted in an explosion that sent rubble crashing on top of Esmeraude, who burst out of it and tried to strike at him, but Sora soon began to utilize the strong connection he had with his friends, he spun his keyblade around, held it out before him, swung it to his right side, and held it up above his head. At last he plunged it downwards to the ground, and a powerful burst of light began to surge towards Esmeraude causing her to cry out in shock and dismay at being defeated again.
"Lord Demande… Is in peace…" she said as she faded away into the darkness.
"Sure he is," replied Sora.
"Guess that means there are threads of Destiny that never meet," said Usagi.
"A fitting end for such a fool," piped in Riku.
The others nodded in agreement, and decided to return to the ark. As they lifted off into the sky, Usagi decided to return to the Moon Kingdom to see what was going on. When they all arrived, they saw several soldiers under Beryl's command, ravaging everything that stood in their way.
"Yes, the people of the Moon are now being wiped out! This is where it all ends!" she said with evil triumph in her voice.
She laughed maniacally at what was going on.
"Soon, Endymion, we shall live in our own little world for all time," she added, whilst laughing in a crazed manner.
She didn't notice Usagi, Sora, and all of their friends landing safely on the ravaged surface of the massacre they witnessed.
"So, this is how the Silver Millennium's end came to be. But, while this is going on, we might be able to slip by Beryl's troops undetected, grab the Rose Crystal, and go home," said Sora.
Luna and Usagi nodded, and raced on ahead, until they saw Princess Serenity lying motionless on the ground, which made everyone sad, but Sora remembered what he said to Queen Serenity.
"Guys, I know this is how it ends, but we mustn't let our sorrow consume us," he said to them.
But suddenly the Princess vanished in a flash of light.
"What!? I disappeared?" gasped Usagi.
"Not quite, I can feel the power of the Malefic Black Crystal," said Luna.
"Demande! I know it's you! Show yourself!" shouted Usagi.
"Ah, It's you, isn't it, Sailor Moon?" a stoic voice said to them.
A corridor of darkness suddenly emerged before them, and out stepped Demande and the deceased Serenity.
"So you managed to get this far as before, didn't you?" he asked her.
"How about you leave Usagi's past self be!?" snapped Sora, as he lunged at him.
But Demande stopped his attack and blasted Sora back with his dark power, sending him flying back.
"Cursed boy," he scoffed at him.
His attention shifted towards Usagi.
"Whatever you say now means nothing to me, Sailor Moon!" Demande said in a dark tone.
He then began to lift Sora into the air and placed his sword near him.
"Say that your heart belongs to me now, or you can watch Sora die," he said with a wicked grin.
Luna was about to protest, when Riku stopped her.
"We can't interfere, Luna. We know what he'll do to Sora if we try to intervene," warned the other silverette.
"A wise choice, Riku," replied Demande, as he nodded his respect to him.
"Fine, but promise me that you'll let Sora live," said Usagi.
Everyone was thunderstruck by what happened, but Riku knew that Sora would live.
"Don't you remember what you say, Luna? We mustn't allow anyone to have Destiny rewritten since it's guided those from this time into," he said to the dark colored cat.
"Seeing as I'm a man of my word, the lives of Sora and the Princess shall be spared. But while Sailor Moon and I take our leave, the Heartless shall stay. And since Sailor Moon is now in my hands, everything will proceed as I have foreseen it," said Demande.
Then he tapped Usagi's forehead, placed her into a deep sleep, opened a portal to the corridor of darkness, and walked away.
"At long last, the Princess's heart is now mine," he said with evil triumph.
"Get back here!" shouted Sora, as he jumped into the dark corridor, which started to close.
"Sora! Usagi!" cried Luna.
But they soon heard Queen Serenity's voice, and knew that she had used Moon Healing Escalation to send everyone away. But the Queen didn't sense the presence of Sin and her friends who were watching from nearby.
"Did you guys see that?" she asked in shock.
The others nodded at her.
"That must be the Silver Crystal from this time," said Sin.
"Then that means the shards must be on Earth," replied Nabu.
"Think we can take on the Sailor Goddesses and the Guardians of Kingdom Hearts?" asked Nergal.
"Hold up! Apsu's agenda is already fulfilled," piped in Marduk.
"Oh yeah, you're right. If we manage to get our hands on a shard of the crystal now, it would become powerless," replied Sin, who had a smirk on her face.
Ishtar glanced at Sin with a look of confusion.
"You mean we gotta grab one of those shards?" she asked.
"Yes Ishtar, all we need is one teeny-tiny shard, and that will stop the crystal from being reformed," replied Nabu.
"Okay, so if the seven Rainbow Crystals are brought together, the Silver Crystal will be restored to its former glory. But if there are only six, then the Crystal will never be restored," said Marduk.
"Yes… it's powers would most certainly be weakened. That would be all that we need for Mistress Apsu to unleash her power," replied Sin, who had a crafty smirk on her face.
"Ok, if we get one shard, our work here is complete," giggled Ishtar.
"Okay, move out!" Sin said to the Opposite Soldiers, and they soon vanished into the corridor of darkness.
As they left, Riku, Chibiusa, Minako, Roxas, Hotaru, Xion, and Haruka soon came face to face with Saphir who emerged before them.
"Sailor Goddesses, Guardians of Kingdom Hearts. Open my brother's eyes, I beg of you," he said.
But Riku grabbed Saphir by the throat and held his keyblade close to his neck.
"Why should we? Even after everything you've done before!?" snapped the silverette.
"Because, my brother is blinded by his own ambition. He's hidden in the basement of the Moon Castle with Sailor Moon. Please, grant me this wish, so that we can rest in peace," replied Saphir while he fought to speak through Riku's grip.
Angered, Riku threw Saphir aside and marched towards him, but Chibiusa stood between the two young men.
"Stop it Big Brother! I know that Saphir's with the bad guys, but, during my experience as Wiseman's puppet, he defected to the side of good," cried the pinkette.
Riku hesitated for a moment, then he lowered his keyblade and turned away.
"Your right, Chibiusa. I almost allowed my anger to cloud my judgement, just like what happened to Haruka and Michiru when they failed to stop the Death Busters," he admitted.
"I get what you mean, but if anyone can keep us on track, it's bun-bun herself," agreed Haruka.
"We should probably return to Radina's house so that we can plan our next move," said Roxas.
The others nodded, and hurried back to the ark.
