I watch as more people arrive holding letters in their hands, more peace deals, no more like people wanting to buy food, clothes, and wanting to come in if things go from bad to worse for them.
"This is interesting," I say as I look at a group of people carrying one f those baskets the nobles use in all of those old movies.
"Not good" Zenitsu says to me as he looks at the arriving group of people
"What do you mean?" I ask him
"That looks like a noble and do you think anyone here will obey anyone from this world?" Zenitsu asks me
I hate to admit it, but the guy has a point, I hope this doesn't bring any more problems our way.
[Aincrad council ]
"I'm afraid we can't do that, even if we are still in the land of wind we are no longer apart of it"
"Therefore we don't owe you any taxes- land or protection," the representative of the sand ninjas says to the shogun
"You live in my land, therefore you belong to me" the shogun angrily answers the elder sand ninja
"Look, sir, before we opened ourselves to the world both of our groups didn't know we even existed. You have no say in what we do or how we do it" Heathcliff says to the shogun before the man exits the council room in anger

A few things manage the wold and even if people don't want to acknowledge them, they can't deny that they exist, the first and more important is money, the hidden rain village made sure to spread the word about its new allies wealth to its neighbors.
Normally these small nations or villages were inconsequential to anyone in power, the money they had is next to nothing when compared to all of the greater nations around it.
That is of course if one keeps these villages or nations separate, because when they unit they have enough money stand up to even those of greater power, as long as they remained united.
The second thing that governs the world is food and with it, water, people, animals be they soldiers- nobles or the everyday person cant live or work without food and plants can't grow without water.
The next one is, land or territory, one cant be taken seriously if they didn't have their own land, it didn't matter how they acquired it, as long as they had it.
Finally, military power, sofar the island of Aincrad had managed to prove that it had the first three, it had managed to pay the ridiculous prices the smaller villages charged them for whatever goods were brought in, and wer\e able top keep up with the equally outrageous lists their new allies gave them.
Not to mention that apparently, they had more than enough land to house all of the refugees that were still arriving, and somehow managing to both put them somewhere and feed them
This was an issue, with the hidden sand village gone and absorbed into Aincrad as well as whatever villagers that had abandoned their homes in search of somewhere safe, Aincrads arrival had begun to shift the balance of power.
The current Shogun began to feel the pressure of his mistake, after all, it had been him who had given more work to the village hidden in the leaves, and thereby lowering the work the same village he had under his control had.
Meaning that now that the village hidden in the sand was no more, all of the taxes that came with it are now gone.
Not to mention that the land of wind had lost a huge chunk of military power, and all of the other nations were starting to turn towards it, towards him.
So now he found himself making the journey back to his castle, he had gone to the mountain of Aincrad to bring the mountain under his control and thereby begin to both tax and manage its people and resources, to say that when the council heard his demands they kicked him and his escorts out would have been an understatement.
Oh, he remembers the sight before him when the hot desert sand became a massive stone wall that surrounded a mountain\ island made of a lush green forest.
There were so many animals and so much to see, that was rightfully his and those ungrateful peasants had dared to deny it to him.
He would show them the error of their ways and make them kneel to him soon enough.
So he begins to write a letter to anyone willing to take the offer and set them after the mountain and its people, if the mountain is destroyed then he loses nothing and he forces the survivors into obedience.
If the people of Aincrad manage to beat their would-be killers, then he would be okay because no one will know it was he who gave the order.
He hands the letter to his guard and he feels his eyes widen as the guard rips the letter in front of him, the rest of his escorts stop moving and lower his litter onto the sand.
"You abandoned us, and now that we found something good you want to take it from us," the sand ninja says to him as he draws his kunai and kills his remaining attendants
The rest of the ninjas pull him out of his litter and make him walk into the desert, he walks as the hot sand burns his feet, he walks as the wind grows stronger and cuts his skin and makes it hard for him to breathe and see.
He begs for water, but the ninjas just drink it in front of him and leave him the empty containers.
He tries to get a single drop of water, but nothings left, he keeps on walking until he can't walk anymore.
The wind is blowing, but he dost have the strength to move his hands and protect himself from the sand and wind and then he is no more.
