"You really overdid it back there," Izuku told Sayo. They were currently in the workshop with Mei. It was lunchtime and this was the only time Izuku would get to test the hover shoes that the support student-designed.

"Yeah, Mr. Aizawa told me," Sayo answered as she looked at the computer as she ran some simulations on the code to ensure it worked perfectly. She'd just go with the flow if it was her but Izuku still had a mother to go home to when this was over. She wasn't going to be held accountable if something bad happened to him, least of all if she had to deliver the news.

"I know you mean well, but could you have held back…just a little," Izuku told her. She had been really different towards him compared to how she behaved with the others. She was still Sayo but a lot meaner than the version he was accustomed to.

"I'll be honest, I think I held back quite a bit," Sayo responded. She wasn't even looking up from the computer as it ran the numbers. "You guys are going to be heroes, right? The real world isn't as straight forward as those exercises." She explained. "You of all people should know that," She told him.

"Well yeah…but did you really have to be so mean?" Izuku asked. Of course, he knew about the less pleasant side of those cases. Not everyone always appreciated the idea of humans being involved in the digital world. Some of them disliked them for even the pettiest of reasons. That didn't mean he'd want to be trained to resist their insults. At the very least he would have preferred just learning it on spot and maybe getting comforted after. "You're the one who said people shouldn't be victimizing us,"

"Well I suppose you got me there; I did say that but I don't recall ever bringing up the USJ incident to anyone," Sayo muttered. "Everything I ever said would have been applicable regardless."

"I'm pretty sure you're missing the point," Izuku said.

"Perhaps but we don't have time for idle chit chat, we still need to test these out before lunch is over," Sayo told him. "Alright systems should be ready," She told him as she unplugged the computer. "Try and take it easy," Sayo warned.

"Alright, here we go," Izuku said as pressed the button to turn the shoes on. He felt the vibrations as the gear started to activate. He could already feel the force of it trying to overwhelm, he could handle it. He had managed to sustain a little flight, hovering gently over the ground. That was step one, the next step would be to move forward. He tried moving his leg a little bit forward before it quickly dawned on him how much a lack of control he really had. The next thing the poor boy knew was he was upside down, a wall was rapidly approaching and then everything went black.

"Dammit," Sayo cursed under her breath. According to Mei that was to be expected, no one else besides the inventor was truly accustomed to the boots so they'd be naturally caught off guard by the sudden shift in momentum. "If you had told me it would have gotten this bad I would take him to a padded room for testing," Sayo said as she lifted Izuku up and hoisted him over her shoulder.

"I'm surprised you can carry him like that," Mei noted. "I would have called the medic bots to make it easier." She informed. It wouldn't do her any favors if her sponsor got injured by the merchandise; then for sure Sensei would say no to the idea. Besides Izuku was a tough kid, he was a hero after all. "That way I'll be down one assistant in my baby-making,"

"Well I'm sorry to disappoint you but I'm a lot stronger than I look," Sayo said casually. "Besides it's not the first time I've had to carry him unconscious at least this time it's not through a forest." She explained.

"I'm just worried the teachers may have some complaints when they see you holding green bean," Mei noted. "That and judging from the conversation you two were having earlier, I'd say you probably did some stupid earlier," Mei pointed out.

"This coming from a girl, who managed to blow the door off its hinges… several times," Sayo countered as she walked outside the workshop with her partner on her back. She wasn't that much different size-wise to Izuku, still, she couldn't imagine lugging him around the school with do his reputation any favors. Perhaps Mei might have a point on the medical bots. "But point taken, call the medical bots immediately," Sayo told her. The last thing she wanted was for Izuku to wake up and be mad at her for embarrassing him like that.

"So this was your ingenious plan to deal with them," Mirei asked as she watched Marcus from the digital world. The old man was now standing in front of the Yakuza base in nothing more than his usual attire. To anyone else, he would like an old if not healthy man but Mirei knew better than that. He was a man who in his lifetime had stopped two worlds from colliding and who had fought against a God-like being in the digital world. Despite the sudden rise in quirks and the newer presence in super-powered individuals, she was still very much aware of the power gap that still remained between the Digimon and their tamers, and the quirked people of the real world.

Unfortunately, Overhaul did not know that such a difference existed. He like most people probably only ever assumed Quirks were the only means of power in this day and age. It was sad, to be honest. Mirei would have liked it if the man had some sense of morality and honor to compliment that brain he had. His research into the bullets while disturbing was actually pretty attractive if one ignored the methods he used. Really if he had been a kinder and more reasonable individual perhaps he could have been an asset. She had imagined a lot of people would have loved the option to remove their quirks. It would have done wonders in helping those with self-destructive and uncontrollable quirks find a place in the world if they could remove the powers that practically cursed them.

"Well you know I was never into that kind of stuff," Marcus responded. "Thomas used to come up with all the fancy planning and I would just be the guy to punch the problems," He said as he banged on the door. Marcus waited for a few minutes before he throws a digisoul charged punch at the door. There was a loud bang but the door remained standing. Marcus knew it was not going to stay that way as he moved to the side and suddenly the door flew past him. "Like this guy," Marcus told Mirei. A rather large individual emerged from the doorway, only for Marcus to take him by surprise and deliver several punches to the back of his neck, knocking him out before he could react. "Have to say if that's the best they got then I'll be a little disappointed," Marcus responded as he turned to see 3 smaller individuals. He cracked his neck as he reached for his digivice.

"Come on, boss, let me have some fun as well," Marcus's partner said. A light erupted from his digivice and appearing next to Marcus was none other than his ever-loyal bash brother, Agumon. The yellow baby T-rex cracked his own knuckles mirroring his human who did the same. One of the thugs tried to launch an attack, shooting them with blades of grass from a nearby bush. Agumon merely sent a powerful stream of fire that destroyed the leaves. The three thugs couldn't react as Marcus had sped through the fire and clothesline two of them shocking the last one standing. However he too was eventually caught as in his moment of hesitation, Agumon got the jump and knocked him down.

"Alright, Mirei, we'll organize the trash, you guys just throw it out," Marcus said as he and Agumon walked towards the entrance in the building. Behind them, several distortions appeared in the ground as the unconscious villains soon sunk into the floor.

"How much of their memories are we allowed to erase?" Mirei asked as LadyDevimon pulled the villains into the digital world. She was adjusting the memory eraser to wipe the villains clean. They couldn't arrest them and they sure were not taking prisoners.

"I'd say erase them and let them start from scratch somewhere else. I don't care where, just so long as it's away from Japan. If we leave them with their old memories then they may fall back into old habits…maybe send them to a convent or a monastery." Marcus replied. If you were going to start from zero, might as well give up all the worldly possessions and find spiritual enlightenment.

"There is some irony in you telling me that," Mirei said as she glanced at her partner, Lady Devimon. "Nevertheless I'll see what I can do, just don't destroy the place too much," Mirei told him. "Let Erika evacuate the old man first and perhaps leave some of the labs intact till I can raid and collect all the research they have," Mirei said.

"Duly noted," Marcus said. As a small ripple appeared in front of the door before him. He punched it, hitting the data counterpart in the digital world before pulling his hand back into the real world. Geogreymon smashed through the doorway shortly after. "It's fighting time," Marcus screamed as his partner let out a ferocious roar behind him.

Erika sighed as she waited in the hospital room of the old man. She had been assigned to evacuate him but unfortunately, someone had come to visit him. She glanced at Overhaul who was talking to the man, he was aware of Marcus's attack but his overconfidence in the onslaught and his forces had apparently led him into a false sense of security. She listened in to the conversation and surprisingly she didn't know if she wanted to kill the yakuza leader or torture him first. From what she gleaned, he was raised by the old man and had desired to repay him by making the yakuza great again. Overhaul's idea of repaying the man involved hospitalizing him, abandoning all disregard for the man's principles, and abusing his granddaughter.

"And they call us monsters," Wormmon scoffed as he waited by her side. He was glaring at the yakuza boss as well, with a lot of hatred that was uncommon from the happy-go-lucky worm. He had seen the memories of Eri, he had felt her pain and if it was possible he'd return it all to this man. Thankfully though Erika's own logical side would keep him in check, and avoid any rash moves.

That didn't mean Erika herself was not angered by the man. She recalled a green-haired woman from another life so long ago, who had put her in an arguably similar position. Erika had been sick and her brother had been taken advantage of by another monster. One who hurt many innocent people just for the heck of it, all because they thought they were doing good for others or at least claiming such. "People like him exist in every time, they mask their own evils as noble," Erika said.

Marcus had told her the story of Kurata. The pathetic man whose fear of Digimon lead him to go and commit genocide in another world all in the name of doing it to save humanity. Yeah right, he destroyed the barrier between worlds and infused humans with the data necessary to turn them into biohybrid Digimon and even made artificial Digimon himself. He was a hypocrite beyond comparison, especially when his last schemes involved him using an ancient demon lord as a means to subjugate not the digital world but the human one, and when he realized he was losing he fused himself with the Demon Lord.

"I bet if Overhaul gets pushed into a corner, he'll use his quirk like hell to save himself, even though he's 'anti-quirk'," Erika said. It was fairly obvious the man cared about no one but himself. He was a narcissist after all. If he had a cure for the disease called quirks, then why did he still allow himself and his followers to be sick?

The building started to rumbled and Erika could see an explosion shake the compound as RizeGreymon flew up and started firing several rounds at the compound. He was still holding back power as it was merely to lure Overhaul out. Thankfully the yakuza leader at least had enough common sense to realize that a flying cyborg dinosaur with a large gun on his arm was definitely a problem that would need his attention. Once he had fled through, Erika got to work. She entered the area with her partner and summoned two other Digimon she had brought along to assist.

"Alright you two, we need to get work ASAP," Erika ordered as her digivice materialized the aid. "Cutemon and Datamon," The Digimon were a small pink bunny like Digimon and a small robot looking one. Cutemon immediately got to work jumping on top of the bed while producing a green light from his paws. A special healing light that would stabilize the injured old man if not a little. While Cutemon stabilized him, Datamon got to work unplugging the medical equipment before plugging it into himself as an alternative power source. Before long the duo was finished and Erika and Wormmon were able to move the old man through a portal, just before another Yakuza member arrived to keep watch on the old man. "Alright Marcus, take them down," Erika said now that she and the target were safely within the digital world.

Marcus smiled as RizeGreymon landed. They had been knocking down Yakuza members left to right. It was far easier to do so knowing they didn't need to worry about Eri or the old man. It was also easy when you had a large cyborg dinosaur by your side but that was the minor details. Rize had knocked down several of their members and Mirei had dragged them into the digital world where she would erase their memories before Locomon and the others relocated them. They wouldn't be sent to prison or killed so hopefully they got a chance to start over.

"So you're the one causing all this trouble," A voice called. Marcus turned to see Overhaul had arrived with his henchmen. Erika had already informed him that she evacuated the old man. She also told him about Overhaul being the ungrateful bastard that he was and betraying his old friend.

"Well…you attacked my friends, family, and associates…you should have expected something like this would happen," Marcus said from atop Rize's shoulders. "I take things like this very personally," Marcus informed. "That's why we took that girl," Marcus said smugly. Rize immediately raise his revolved to block several rock spikes that had been launched at him. The cyborg dino soon took off into the sky knowing fully well that they had pissed of Overhaul considerably.

"So um Boss…do we just blow them up now or should we wait for the authorities to come," Rize asked his partner as he stared at the villains below. Overhaul sent more attacks at him. The villain was screaming in fury at the duo when it had dawned on him what they did. He had only just started his plans to put the Yakuza back on top and someone was already interfering.

"We're waiting but not for the authorities, Mirei and Erika are raiding his lab as we speak, I figured the perfect punishment for some of these goons may also be to strip them of their quirks. After all, it seems almost hypocritical that they tortured a little girl so much for a cure to this disease called quirks and not take it themselves," Marcus told his partner.

"Hehe…that's a good plan…um…boss…what are they doing?" Rizegreymon said as he noticed Overhaul was doing something to his followers. Marcus looked down and his eyes widened in horror at what he saw. This was definitely Kurata all over again. Overhaul had used his quirk to disassemble what remained of his followers before he assembled them into himself in an unholy fusion. Rizegreymon was also very disturbed by what he saw, Digimon could fuse into singular more forms by progress known as jogress or DNA digivolution but if that process was corrupted or the Digimon were incompatible then the resulting fusion would create an error known as Chaosmon. This was the human equivalent of Chaosmon the duo was witnessing and it only got worse.

"The hell," Marcus said as he saw the chimera-like creature now disassemble and absorb the remains of the building around him into a new body. Marcus could guess he had fused maybe 4 or 5 other people into himself and the being before him looked right out of a horror show. "To think we already pushed the fool this far," Marcus said surprised that a germ-phobic like Overhaul would do this. The man was delusional about germs and quirks being diseases but this right here proved he was no more a narcissist who didn't even believe the own garbage he spouted. Marcus however couldn't help but grin as he saw Overhaul had turned himself into something even less human and more of a monster. "Rizegreymon…looks like it's time to get serious," Marcus told him as he activated his digivice. "DNA Charge…Overdrive," Marcus said.

"Rizegreymon digivolve to…" The cyborg t-rex was engulfed in white light as a cocoon of data surrounded him. The data cocoon son burst to reveal a giant dragon-man covered with red and silver armor, his head adorned with a yellow helmet. "ShineGreymon," The now evolved Shinegreymon screamed. The mega Digimon flew down and slammed his fist into the ground cause a circle of fire to erupt around him before he pulled out a long double edge yellow blade.

"You have no idea what you're doing old man, that girl was my chance to rid this world of this disease, she was the cure humanity needed." Overhaul shouted.

"Yeah…I don't care," Marcus said. "Shine Greymon…destroy him," Marcus ordered as the Mega rushed for Overhaul. The chimera kaiju villain mirrored his adversary.

Just a random question but is my writing quality declining or improving because I really can't tell. I haven't written for this in a while so I'm a little unsure if I'm still doing it as well as before. Just give me a heads up because I would like to know so I can go back and see what I might be missing or forgetting.

On another note, you all seem to agree that Sayo could handle lord explosion murder. I'm glad because I was worried that I might make her op without reason and thus ruin her character by making her one of those mary sue or generic op protagonist in the story. I actually wrote two drafts of her battle with Bakugo and posted them on my discord for the story so if anyone wants to read you can look check it out there. They might not be the final version as I am still dancing around the idea and setup and other developments need to be made for that part of the story so it could be a spoiler but at the same time, it could not be so feel free to join the discord if you want.

Link is HTCRHA2...the link doesn't expire btw so don't worry about that.
