Tiny Lamp
I felt uneasy.
Reira had seen Emma and I kissing. I opened the door the little girl's room as she walked inside with her teddy bear. I convinced Emma I could take care of this while she went to go and feed baby Roman.
Reira sat on her bed, I tried to think what to tell the tiny red-haired princess. Reira was 6 years old now, age wise; she was our middle child.
I sat down beside her as the tiny girl pulled the bunny covers over herself. "Daddy, how come you and mommy were kissing when you're supposed to be broken up?" she asked curiously holding her bunny teddy bear.
My jaw dropped, this kid's got guts.
"Ah, well. You see, mommy and I have been having a hard time. Which is normal when two people really love each other," I started to explain.
"But you guys are broken up, so it shouldn't be that hard," she objected in a loud voice. "Shhhhh," I whispered.
Reira tilted her head.
"Daddy, I thought it was bad to keep secrets; are you a hypocrite now?" she asked. I'm irritated.
I tried to compose myself, "It's complicated, Reira. Adult stuff normally is," I sighed. "Not complicated enough to kiss in a closed room. If it was supposed to be a secret, you shoulda done a better job at hiding it," she mocked folding her arms and cocking a smile.
Yup, this is indeed my daughter.
"Ow!" she whined as I pat the top of her head roughly, "Ahhhhhaaaaha, my sweet smart daughter. I could just squeeze you sometimes," I joked annoyed. Reira pushed my hand off her head.
"Daddy stop, you're going to knot up my hair!" she barked untangling the curly red mess on top of her head. I couldn't help but laugh, she was a tiny Emma with my personality. I wanted to make more of her.
"Reira, it's hard for me not to kiss your mom. I love her, a lot. Sometimes I can't help myself. It was very, very selfish of me, it wasn't mommies fault at all. You know mommy doesn't like to hurt anyone's feelings," I explained in a soft voice.
Reira nodded her head, she new how big hearted our Emma was; it was the thing she loved about Emma the most. "It's just that, it will hurt Daddy Norman a lot if her finds out I kissed mommy. So..." I started to say.
Ray: *Takes a deep breathe*
Reira: "Can I have a Play Station 5?"
Ray: "What?"
Reira: "You're trying to buy me off right? *Folds arms* "Run me some money then dad,"
Ray: "Wha-what?!"
Reira: "Hey, I don't want to lie to Daddy Norman, but I don't want his feelings to be hurt because Daddy Norman's a big cry baby and I don't have time for the water works."
Ray: *Nods head* "Agreed,"
Reira: "But if I have to lie to spare daddy Norman's feelings, I mines well get paid for it. So run me that Play Station 5,"
Ray: *Annoyed* "I'll buy you an Xbox,"
Reira: "Xbox is trash. I want the new Nintendo Switch and a pair of air forces,"
Ray: "Little girl, what the hell are you gonna do with a pair of black air forces?!"
Reira: "Ima stomp out big brother Rei when he tries to steal my Switch!" *Kicking motion*
Ray: "What the hell?"
Reira: "He thinks cause he's older, he can try me but I'm not havin' it daddy. Heck, I'll drop you too if you touch my switch, try it old man." *Boxing motion*
Ray: "Little girl, if you don't go to bed!" *Throws pillow at her*
Reira: *Throws pillow back* "Hey! We had a deal daddy!"
Ray: "Naw, nope. I didn't shake to anything. I'm going to take you out for ice-cream and you're going to forget what you saw!"
Reira: "Naw, fuck that! I'm telling Daddy Norman right neoooooooow," *Throws covers off bed and jumps up*
"Wait, wait, wait!" I said grabbing her little hand. I sighed as my head fell, though she looked like a little Emma; this one was density 110% me.
"Fine," I sighed.
Reira smiled jumping onto my back for a hug, "Thank you daddy! I'm so happy!" she giggled chocking me. I growled tossing her back onto her bed as I rolled her up in her blanket.
"Daddy." She said as I got up. I looked down at my tiny red doll-baby all rolled up in her sheets like a bright red taco.
"You can't kiss mommy anymore, that way we won't have to keep anymore secrets." She said in a soft, mousy voice. Don't look at me that way, with those big, adorable green eyes.
I bent down on my knee, brushing hair out of her face. "I know sweet-heart, I won't. Promise." I smiled before kissing her on the forehead.
Reira me a happy smile, "I love you daddy, nighty night," she smiled. I couldn't help but chuckle at the cute gap in between her teeth. "I love you too, good night Reira!" I smiled back.
As I turned the light off and closed the door, I frowned. 'Don't kiss mommy anymore.'
That's a promise I might not be able to keep.
The Next Chapter will have smutt, I promise.
