It's been about 2 months since Rebecca was defeated and things had gone back to normal. Killow was back in jail, although he's not being contained as severely. Rebecca and her cronies were also taken to jail, and the baby was healthy.
One night at dinner, they were talking about the baby and its health.
"So Harumi, how's the baby?" Nya asked
"Yeah, we all wanna know." Ultraviolet chimed in
Harumi took a bite of noodle and spoke.
"It's been kicking me a lot, and it's a girl. Like I think it's ready to come out. After all, my due date is on the 23rd of May, just 2 days from now."
"So how do you feel about being a teen mom?" Turner asked
"I mean nervous, but excited." Harumi replied while rubbing her stomach
"Do you guys know how much babies cost?" Garmadon asked
Nya chimed in
"Lloyds net worth is like 200 million dollars and Harumi's is like 35 million, so I think they are in a financial place."
Everyone laughed
"Ok fair point." Garmadon said
Suddenly, Lloyd got an idea.
"So how do you feel about having another one?" He asked Harumi
Harumi was taken back, but in a good way
"Ok, the first one hasn't even been born yet. We are teenagers, but maybe sometime in the future." Harumi laughed
Everyone laughed again
Once everyone stopped laughing, Ultraviolet asked for the gender
"Its a girl." Lloyd said
"Do you guys have a name?" Luke asked
"Yeah. We tossed around the idea of Aniver after Lloyds half-sister, and Antonia after his grandmother, but we eventually decided on Crystal, after the name of my birth mother."
"You have a half-sister?" Luke asked Lloyd
"Yes. We have the same mom, but different dads because my parents are divorced." Lloyd replies
"Wait your parents are divorced?" Nya asked
"Yeah. The reason why is a long explanation though."
Suddenly, Lloyd was bombarded with questions because no one else had divorced parents except Skylor, who was quiet
"Do you go from house to house, and if so how do you do it?"
"Do you like your mom or dad better?"
"How do you spend holidays?"
"Does your dad still have custody over you or not?"
"Are your parents still friends?"
'Why did they separate?"
Suddenly, Lloyd spoke up
"Guys, if I wanted to go on a rant about how my parents are divorced, I would. I'll tell you guys all about it later."
Everyone shut up
LATER
Harumi was getting ready for bed when she passed Killow's room. She went inside to get anything out of it that she might want. She walked in.
It was basically now a guest room, because all of his belongings had been either taken out, or he had them. The bed wasn't made, there were no towels in the bathroom, all the clothes had been packed up and sent to Kryptarium prison, and all personal items had been taken away and given to Killow if they didn't pose as a threat.
Suddenly, she noticed a picture on the nightstand. A photo of her and Killow, 5 years ago. Since it was winter, she was wearing jeans, a long-sleeve shirt, a hat and gloves, and boots.
She looked at the photo for about 5 minutes, barely recognizing herself. She was so sick, and she didn't even realize it. She started to cry.
5 minutes later, she went to the bathroom and dried her tears on a tissue. She left and went to her own room.
When she got to her own room, she was greeted by Lloyd.
"Hey Rumi, were you crying?" Lloyds tone goes from happy to concerned
Damn it. She must not have done a good enough job at covering it up. She a lying criminal mastermind, she wasn't very good at lying
"No..." her voice trailed off
"Rumi, yes you were. What's up?"
"Im just emotional because of the pregnancy, that's all. I saw a sad video."
"If that's the truth." Lloyd said
5 minutes later, she had changed and gotten into bed.
"Hey Lloyd...wouldn't it be ironic if the child was born tonight?" Harumi asked
Lloyd chuckled
"It would be. And if it is, wake me up, ok? Please don't attempt to drive to the ER by yourself."
"Ok, I will." Harumi laughed
LATER ON THAT NIGHT(2 am)
Harumi woke up to stabbing pains in her stomach. She thought nothing of it, and tried to go back to sleep.
But the pain kept growing and growing, until she couldn't take it anymore. She woke up completely and ran to the bathroom.
She stood in the bathtub and 30 seconds later, she felt something burst and then something wet. She looked down, and there, was amniotic fluid all over the floor of the bathtub.
Her water broke. Harumi didn't know a whole lot about labor, but she did know that water breaking was a sign the baby was on the way. The pain kept growing and growing. She went over to Lloyds bed and tapped him on the shoulder.
"Harumi, what is it? It's the middle of the night?"
Harumi kept panting and Lloyd immediately knew that she was in labor. In 10 seconds, he got dressed and got everyone up, with Harumi behind him.
Instantly, everyone knew what was going on and got Harumi into the car, with Lloyd behind her. Ultraviolet and Garmadon went with her.
"Call us as soon as the baby born." Nya called
"We will." Ultraviolet replied
Harumi kept screaming
"Don't let her give birth in the car, it's not good for the baby." Skylor said
"We wont." Ultraviolet replied while holding Harumis hand
The last time Ultraviolet saw her in so much pain, it was when she tore her ACL during training when she was 12. But that's a long story.
Lloyd speed off to the hospital and drove as fast as he could without hurting anyone
"Harumi, you're having contractions. Count them." Ultraviolet instructed
5 minutes later, they got to the hospital and Harumi was admitted to the maternity ward
Ultraviolet went with her and Lloyd stayed outside with Garmadon
They were quiet for about 10 minutes before Garmadon said something
"Are you nervous?"
"yes, I'm nervous, but also excited. Im going to be a dad." Lloyd said
And for the first time in 9 months, the realization really hit Lloyd. He was going to be a dad. A teen dad.
Lloyd sat down next to Garmadon
"I know your scared, and that's normal, but she'll be ok." Garmadon reassured
"I know she will."
Garmadon took a deep breath before saying the next sentence
"I don't think I ever formally apologized, about what I did to you." Garmadon said while looking at the scar on Lloyds knee.
It didn't take Lloyd 2 seconds to figure it out.
"Oh no, it's ok. It wasn't really a big deal, don't worry." Lloyd said while looking at the floor
Garmadon knew he was lying
"No, it's not ok. I nearly killed you. I disowned you. I nearly killed your friends, and who knows when they will be back."
"You weren't yourself. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes."
"But those words..." Garmadon trailed off. He didn't want to say it
"The words I have no son mean nothing to me anymore. We both know that's not true anyway, otherwise, whos my father?"
They both laughed
"Listen, I forgive you. Now, let's not dwindle on the past and focus on now. The only thing that matters right now is that we are together again, and my daughters about to be born." Lloyd said
"Ok. Im glad you forgive me, son."
Garmadon pulled Lloyd in for a hug
AFTER THE BIRTH
A nurse came out to get Lloyd and Garmadon
"You guys can come in now."
Lloyd walked in to see Harumi holding her baby close to her
"The birth was safe, despite many health concerns."
She handed Lloyd the paperwork
Name: Crystal Antonia Garmadon
Weight: 7.3lbs
Mother: Harumi Anestesia Carter
Father: Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon
Apgar scale: 8
Race: Caucasian
Sex: Female
Lloyd hugged Harumi, who was holding the baby. Garmadon had called the house and told them to come to the hospital.
"How are you feeling?" Lloyd asked Harumi
"Dizzy, but ok."
He kissed her head and held his daughter for the first time.
"Welcome to the world, Crystal." He said happily
All Garmadon and Ultraviolet could do was smile
10 minutes later, the group arrived.
"Can we see her?" Luke asked the nurse
"Yes. Room 21 on the left." The nurse said groggily
They all rushed down to Harumi's room
Once they were inside, she was bombarded
"Awwww she's so cute!"
"What's her name?"
"Crystal. Crystal Antonia Garmadon." Harumi replied
"By the way Harumi, we brought someone." Nya said
Nya motioned to Killow, who was standing behind her
"Killow!"
"Hi Harumi, how are you feeling?"
"Dizzy, but ok."
"That's nice. Im am sorry for the threat I gave you and Lloyd. I understand that must have scared you, and I'm sorry." Killow apologized
"It's ok, I forgive you."
2 hours later, Harumi left with Lloyd, back to the house, and holding a bundle of joy in their arms. Who knows what she will bring?
