Rei was holding a pumpkin in her arms, and Kanda had just finished carving it with Mugen. It had a face that was strangely reminiscent of Kanda's angry face.
Rei was dressed as a fox yokai with features of both human and fox. Rei had six cream-colored, fluffy tails. She wore a purple kimono patterned with Casablanca flowers. She didn't wear shoes. Her hair was kept up in a ponytail with a purple bow. Rei's ears were narrow and pointed.
Kanda was dressed like a samurai. He was wearing a black yukata with lotus on it and Mugen at his side, his hair back its traditional pony tail.
"Mm! What is that wonderful smell?" Allen floated in on the trail of the scent, drawn in by the baked goods.
Allen was dressed as a clown, wearing a polka dotted clown outfit and clown make up all over his face.
"Oh that? That's just Kuri." Lavi said. "Best to stay away from her right now."
Lavi was dressed in a scholarly kimono, bright red and orange, with big thick glasses and carrying around a stylus.
"Huh?" Allen paused, temporarily distracted from the delicious confections. "Is Kuri in a bad mood?"
"Oh don't listen to him Allen. Kuri would love to see you." Rei said.
"What? But—" Lavi started.
"Shush!" Rei said.
Allen curiously made his way into Jerry's kitchen where Kuri was baking up a storm. Rei was still in the cafeteria hanging up spiderwebs and putting out lit Jack o lanterns.
Kuri wore the traditional dress of a Shinto priestess. Kuri wore a white jacket with cords through the sleeves and open shoulders. Strings were attached to each lapel and tied in front to keep the garment closed. Kuri's top had the sleeve fitting somewhat closely like a modern loose shirt and extending slightly past the wrist. Kuri wore bright red puffed shorts, which included the small board on the lower back. Kuri wore common socks and rice straw sandals. Kuri sported a red belt, over all her other garments.
"Kuri what are you doing?" Allen said.
"I'm getting everything ready. It's time for Shuki Korei-Sai, the Autumnal Spirit Festival, known to you westerners as—Halloween!" Kuri said. "Do you want Pumpkin Muffins, Pumpkin Pie, or Pumpkin Bread?"
Allen's eyes widened. "Can I have all of them?"
"Allen...this is for everyone!" Kuri said.
"Kuri, you can't just throw a party on every holiday," an annoyed Kanda said. "The Earl isn't just going to take a day off."
An evil look came on Kuri's face. "The Earl? He wouldn't dare crash my party. I would END HIM."
Allen looked at Kuri. Whoa. He had never seen her like this. She was covered in flour from cooking. She had an intense battle aura, whether it was from the idea of fighting the Earl, or the idea of throwing a party...She was so...hot!
So then, right in front of Kanda, Allen grabbed Kuri and kissed her. He pulled her close and kissed her passionately, smearing make up all over her face.
"Ugh," Kanda said, and stormed off.
Rei peeked in and laughed. "That's just how Kuri gets...on holidays!"
