The next in line is Hanta Sero.
"Before we start, can I try one thing out? I want to see if your corn stops my tape." It was unfortunate but no matter how hard he shot his tape it kept getting stuck in the endless rows of corn.
"Sorry al, I can't fight you either."
"Sorry, why the hell are you sorry for not fighting this bastard?" Bakugo shouts waiting for his turn to fight.
"You really don't get it? It's for both ours and Al's sake we are here. If we don't win he is bound to walk on a path of darkness, one he was forced into because of a clash of ideologies, a clash created by forces imposed on him. He is the one that wants to be a hero the most here to the point where he went against the law to be one. Would you be willing to forsake everything to become a hero?" Ida asks watching the next battle.
Toru is hard countered by Al's row of corn. Although she is invisible the continuous rustle of corn tells Al exactly where she is. In a matter of seconds she got throws out of the field too.
"Strength type or sensory type Quirks don't work when you can simply appear and disappear in a blink of an eye. Even if I watch all around myself and try to attack you when you get near I won't be able to defeat you. We're wasting time by now, we should just have Bakugo or Todoroki fight you." Shoji says giving up too.
"That will have to wait. It seems I'm next." Ida says ready to fight. "Al, I'll run towards you, I'll run fast enough to surpass the speed of your will!"
The match between them starts anew and as always Al just hides inside his corn waiting for his opponent to make a mistake and defeat them. Ida was very fast, he could dodge his traps but he couldn't reach him. That was his downfall. There was nothing stopping Al from just staying behind and shooting arrows at Ida while all he could do was run towards Alphonse.
"Do you think Tenya will have a chance against him?" Aizawa asks the other teachers while they look at the fights.
"I don't think I stand a chance against him." Midnight says with a concerned look on her face. "My Quirk has an area of effect but if he attacks me with all his traps at once he could take me out before my sleep inducing perfume has any effect on him."
"I too would have problems against him. As long as he keeps inside his fields of corn I cannot target him with my erasing Quirk meaning he can just run around me until I drop down from exhaustion or he does."
"He's been going all out too. His traps should consume a lot of blood, just how much does he have?"
"His Quirk works a lot like mine, he doesn't suffer any adverse effects even after a lot of blood has been lost." Vlad King says.
"Are you aware of just how much corn he's been creating daily and selling to the government? He produces corn equal to 2500 acres daily over the course of four hours." Principal Nezu says.
"2500 acres, that's 10 kilometres square every day!"
"And he hasn't created any for two days. He must have enough blood to fight all of us and then some. He calculated it all before challenging us."
"Do you have any strategy in mind principal?"
"Hope for either Todoroki or Bakugo to defeat him. There is no cement for Cementos to use here, Snipe, Power Loader, Ectoplasm and Midnight can't hurt him physically. Only you Aizawa, Present Mic and Vlad King might stand a chance to defeat him. You with your Eraser Quirk then defeat him as fast as possible, Present Mic with his voice hitting in an area and Vlad King using his blood at range. Other than that... I have Endeavor on speed dial if there's need for him to fight Alphonse.
Ojiro was eliminated while the teachers were talking about their strategy. Kaminari used his electricity too soon and got eliminated moments after. It's useful to use an area of effect attack and try to hit the opponent, it's less useful to do so when the opponent can simply disappear before the electricity can reach him.
Tsuyu was next and she was just as all the other fighting Quirk heroes. To the same end Deku fought Al and lost. In an all out attack Deku tried using One for All 5% and rushed Al only for the latter to use Deku's momentum and hit him out of the ring.
"I'll do it! I'll fight and defeat Al. It's for his good." Ochaco says boosting herself up for the fight ahead.
"Eh? Just give up and let us fight already!" Bakugo shouts but Ochaco ignores him. She knew that one touch was enough to defeat Alphonse and she knew how to get it. Uraraka jumps into the ring ready to fight.
"I see what you're doing Alphonse and I answer in kind. You're gonna face Uravity!"
"Concentrate Ochaco, just like El Santo taught you. Remove your weight first then charge forward" Instant movements. Thanks to her power to remove the gravitational pull over her body Uraraka can move at incredibly fast speeds in one single direction.
"That is until you have to stop!" Alphonse replies realising what she was doing.
"You've been spying us all weren't you? What do you seek to gain from all this?"
"A hero!"
"Then get ready, for now you face one." Uraraka keeps trying to grab Alphonse and push him out of the ring but he is fast enough to dodge her attacks and counter. A trap springs behind her ready to hit.
"It is useless!" She shouts removing her gravitational pull for an instant. "If there is no gravity the force of the trap does no damage to me and I can negate it immediately by returning my weight to myself. You cannot hurt me!"
"Then I'll just shove you forward until you fall."
"Concentrate, dodge his attacks. Try to counter him. You need a point of view from where to attack him." She makes herself weightless then jumps into the sky above the corn fields looking for him.
"You've made yourself an easy target. Even if my arrows cannot hurt you I'll send you flying so high you won't be able to touch the ring when you land!" Alphonse shoots an arrow at her but Uraraka pushes herself to the side mid air.
Gravity system! By holding onto small marbles inside her suit then giving them back their weight just as she throws the Uraraka can push herself in the opposite direction as if pushing against and infinitely dense wall for just one instant. She throws one more ball into the air then pushes herself forward towards Alphonse.
"It doesn't matter how little you weight if I cut your atoms in half!" Alphonse shouts pulling out a very sharp obsidian dagger aiming to incapacitate her.
"Just like El Santo taught you. Gravitational counter!" Uraraka manages to shove herself underneath Alphonse's arm just as he was about to stab her by returning all her weight to herself. She was right next to him close enough to touch him with the tip of her fingers.
"I got you now!" She shouts pushing a now weightless Alphonse into the air. Ochaco jumps high into the air to follow him ready to perform the move El Santo taught her. Milky Way buster! She grabs him by the shoulders and starts spinning him really fast to disorientate him before grabbing his feet and rotating him face first into the ground. While spinning though Alphonse managed to grab hold of a corn stalk and that messed up Uraraka's move sending both of them flying out of control.
"Too dizzy... I can't see the ground." Alphonse can't make out where the ground is to summon his corn rows and teleport to safety and lands, still inside the ring but flat on his face.
"She did it? Ochaco landed a hit against Al!" Midoriya shouts all happy.
"What are you doing? Get up and finish him before he teleports away!" Bakugo shouts. Uraraka fell inside a corn stalk and she too was very dizzy from the attack. It was meant to be a ultimate move capable of incapacitating Alphonse but she botched it up and both of them are on the ground.
"Water? Inside the corn rows?" Something wet was beneath her.
"Students get away!" Aizawa shouts as the teachers jump into the ring immediately. When Alphonse fell to the ground he still had his dagger in his right hand and during the fall he stabbed himself with it. Blood started pouring out of his body like a fountain but instead of spreading around the ground it started flying into the air onto the corn leaves. The teachers were fast enough to notice the change, the corn was no longer brought from the other world but the other world was brought inside the corn fields! Water started pouring out of the corn and stones were piling up creating the base for a pyramid. The leafs of the corn were sharp as razor blades and dyed red.
"Uraraka get out of there now!" The teachers shout as everyone rushed to save her. Not realising what was going on she immediately removes her weight and pushes herself up into the air to escape the corn field. Wile jumping her body gets numerous cuts and each cut that drew blood started haemorrhaging profusely just as Alphonse's wound do when he first gets them. Dizzy and losing a lot of blood Uraraka falls to the ground immediately and Tokoyami's Dark Shadow saves her.
"Vlad King! Can you stop Alphonse's bleeding with your own blood?"
"I'll try!" He says jumping towards Al but he doesn't get to even approach him as something really terrifying is happening. Al was standing on his feet as if something from inside the wound was keeping him upright. Suddenly his blue skin started shedding off his body as if it was a suit and red skin appears underneath freshly covered in blood.
"I shall follow through with my will. Come heroes, partake in the trials and tribulations I have prepared for you!" Everyone even Alphonse greatly misunderstood his Quirk. Aztec Legends, the Quirk that allows him to create corn and teleport inside any of it wasn't just that, his Quirk was more along the lines of having a small dimension inside his blood that he could draw out.
"Al!" Midoriya shouts jumping in front of him.
"Thank you all. You've helped me understand my Quirk better than what I could have ever achieved alone. It was al programmed in the stars. My village burning to the ground, me becoming a student at U.A. my arrest and this battle. I was a fool! Self preservation kept me from achieving my goal to be a hero! Now I understand, giving anything less than your own life to be a hero is unacceptable!" Powerful winds rise him into the air as he rises his hand above his head. His wrist splits open and blood spills out flying into five different directions over the horizon.
"What in the world are you some kind of freak of nature?" Bakugo shouts jumping into the air then blasting Alphonse with an explosion back into the ground. He fell to the ground but on his feet showing just how loosely his old skin was hanging on his body to the point where there was a second face underneath his.
"Take him out, now!" Principal Nezu shouts feeling the aura of dread and danger Alphonse was emanating.
"Hero... Hero... Hero..."
"Al, get a hold of yourself! Al!" Midoriya shouts trying to stop Alphonse from attacking the teachers and students.
"That's a good name. Hero judged Kalimni... There is no more Al here, there is only heroism. Show me your purest form, heroes!
"Students, all of you get out of here! I'm having Endeavor get here as fast as possible, his Quirk is the strongest against Alphonse."
"Listen rodent hero... my name is Kalimni, you never asked me of it." Kalimni teleports in front of Nezu and kicks him off the cliff into the forest bellow. Sero jumps after the principal catching him mid flight but the brutal hit was so strong the principal was knocked out cold with broken bones.
Snipe starts shooting Kalimni.
"Your bullets can curve mid air, but they cannot follow me around!"
"Get back!" Tokoyami shouts as he drags Snipe away from Kalimni's way. The once blue skinned teenager became a red skinned monster with his old skin hanging off his body. His whole body became far thinner as if emaciated and it was dripping in blood. His hair grew longer and it was as if light was being absorbed by his darker then before hair. His fingers had black nails which grew long and rectangular before suddenly stopping with a sharp grey edge. With a swipe of his hand Kalimni summons a wall of sharp corn ready to cut both students and teachers. Cementos saves them all by breaking off a street and using it as a wall.
"Entrap him!"
"It's no use! Al told us he can see from within the corn as if he was looking at a room filled with screens. We have to cover his eyes!"
"A hero first targets the brain, then the hands." Kalimni says before appearing before Midnight and attacking her with an obsidian covered bat. He hits her in the sides and knocks her to the ground bleeding. Immediately after he attacked Midnight he goes for Aizawa who was trying to erase his Quirk but Kalimni knew better and never fully left the corn rows meaning he could always retract his hands and be fully covered by the corn.
"It's time for you to be judged!" Kalimni says jumping out from behind Aizawa's back but Midoriya anticipated him and attacked from behind as a counter. The hit is strong enough to push Kalimni to the ground and out of the corn fields for long enough that Aizawa can look at him and cancel his Quirk. On the ground and with his Quirk erased, thus unable to teleport away everyone was ready to jump on Kalimni but he quickly rises his left hand towards Aizawa, cuts himself with his sharp nails and makes blood spurt out and cover Aizawa's eyes giving him enough time to reactivate his Quirk and teleport away.
"Cementos! Create a wall around the fighting area. Don't let Kalimni see the horizon. Todoroki, once Cementos is done engulf the ground in flames, don't allow him to create any more corn! We've got to stop him!
