Chapter 12

Persephone POV

It was a peaceful morning in the Olympian household. Everyone was suprisingly sleeping in. Well everyone except Apollo who physically couldn't sleep in, thanks to being the god of the sun, and daytime. But even he held his head in his hands, and was snoring softly.

It was aproximatley 7:30 and everyone was about to get up, and beggin getting ready for school. Well that was before Frances barged in, slamming the door behind her.

Seriously!? How did their world now revolve around this one mortal daughter of Ares! I mean for Zeus's sake!

Secods later, wondering what the commotion was about everyone was standing in the door way looking at Frances sleepily.

Apollo, somehow, hadn't woken up. He had a cup of coffe in his hand, which was about to slip from his grip. Artemis dove foward just in time to grab the coffee before her brother burned himself. She shook him awake, and procceded to scold him for falling asleep with a cup of coffee in his hands.

"Frances," Ares yawned. "What are you doing here?"

Frances smiled widley. "It's a snow day!" She cried.

Everyone stayed where they were standing. "A what?" Dionyus asked, unamused.

"You know a snow day!" Frances waved her hands around trying to emphasize a point. "A day when it snows so much that they close school for the day, and kids get to do whatever they want!"

The gods looked at eachother. "What does 'whatever they want' entail?" Hera asked dangerously.

"Sledding, snowball fights, making snowmen. Just to name a few." Frances listed on her fingers.

The gods grinned. They liked the second option.

"Come on guys! Lets go to Central Park!" Hebe screamed running out the door.

I hate the Winter much like my mother. It was too cold, and nothing grew!

An hour later everyone was at the park.

Hebe, Apollo, Hecate, Posidean, Aphrodite, and Hades went to make snowmen.

Artemis, Ares, Nemesis, Zeus, Hera, Athena, and ran off to have a snowball fight.

While Hermes, Hephestus, Leto, and Dionysus walked off to go sledding.

And my mother, and I sat on a bench bundled up in as much warmth as we could get our hands on.

"I hate this mom." I snugged up to her.

"I know sweetie. Your aunt is being unusually cruel. No goddess of spring should have to suffer through winter."

I hated this, but at least I knew that I had my mom.

A few minutes later Hades abandoned his snowman and sat down next to me, letting me lean up against him. This was nice.

And for the record I HATE AUNT HESTIA!
