Chapter 15

While everyone left the rooms following the others Videl stayed behind she wanted to know what was written in those pieces of letters, Gohan's friends read before the fight.

She didn't think it was just a number with the look they had on their faces when they read them, she would find out what was going on.

Walking where the maids had put the pieces of papers and the three sentences, she read shocked her:

'Don't use KI.

Keep it normal for those outsides of the group.

Respect the choices we make.'

Shocked she followed her classmates outside and pretended to be interested in what she was seeing.

After a couple more hours of seeing everything that they were allowed to see inside the biggest corporation in the world everyone excluding Yamcha and Gohan left for their own homes and Videl couldn't wait to see what she had found there.

Arriving home for the first time she was glad her father wasn't home she didn't want to talk to him or for him to find out what she was doing if her father was lying to her she wanted to know before comforting him with the information.

Immediately sitting in front of the TV she took the CDs and read what was written there the first one said 21st World Martial Arts Tournaments, the second one 22nd World Martial Arts Tournaments, the third one was the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournaments and Videl was shocked all of them had been before her time but those who had been there often said these were the best World Martial Arts Tournaments through she couldn't confirm or deny it seeing as the recordings had gone missing(she now knew where they were).

The last two were even more shocking to Videl the first one said Saiyan invasion (she didn't know what a Saiyan was but she didn't think she wanted to know) and the last one was the Cell Games the one she wanted to see.

Just as she was about to put the CD so that she could see the fight she stopped' Do I really want to learn whatever they are hiding.'

As soon as that thought came to her mind, she shook her head 'Yes I need to know the truth especially if it involves me.' with that final thought she followed her guts and prepared for what was going to happen.

Try as she might she hadn't been prepared for what she saw for how her entire world broke from its foundations and how her view on everything changed instantly

Her father had lied to her, her friend had lied to her from the very beginning.

'I'm sure all of them were having so much fun laughing at me behind my back.' thought the young girl

Tomorrow she was having a talk with her new friend and he was going to tell her the entire truth even if it killed him, she wasn't going to get lied to again by no one.
