RAW is WAR: 5/3/2001

RAW exploded live from the MCI Center in Washington, DC!

Paul Heyman joined Jim Ross live from ringside at the announce table as Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley came out to the center of the squared-circle. The Game, making his first appearance since defeating Stone Cold Steve Austin at No Way Out, said it was tough to be humble when he continues to be as good as he is. He said that after he destroyed Austin, he said it was very difficult not to brag about his unprecedented skills! Triple H said that instead of bragging, he needed to right a wrong. He said that The Rock said that the two biggest names in the business were going to be facing each other at WrestleMania. Triple H said that he has been kicking both Austin and Rock all over arenas all across the country! Then, Triple H promised that he would be going on to WrestleMania, no matter what it took, even if he had to take someone out of the WrestleMania main event, and he called Stone Cold out to the ring!

The Texas Rattlesnake ran out to the ring and the two men exchanged blows. Then, Kurt Angle ran out and tried to take down Austin. Finally, Stone Cold hit the mat, and Angle and Triple H double-teamed him, until The Rock ran out to the ring! Rock took out Angle and Austin flattened Triple H! Both Rock and Austin then went to the back.

William Regal then came out to the ring as Kurt Angle demanded to face The Rock on RAW! Regal said he had an announcement, and that Mr. McMahon had said Angle and Triple H would tag up against Austin and The Rock! Regal then retreated to the locker room.

As Too Cool came to the ring for their match, Kurt Angle remained at ringside! As Scotty and Grandmaster were being introduced, Angle attacked them both and locked Scotty 2 Hotty in the ankle-lock! Angle continued a verbal tirade as Scotty screamed in pain in the center of the ring!

In the arena, Eddie Guerrero's theme hits and he comes out to the ring as he will be facing the Bladewolf for the first time ever with the WWF Intercontinental Championship on the line.

"This is going to be a match to remember, JR." Paul Heyman said with excitement. "We are going to see one of the best high flyers and performers go up against one of the best WWF Superstars that we have right now."

"This will be the first time Bladewolf faces Eddie Guerrero in a match." JR agreed. "The Intercontinental Championship is on the line so Eddie has the chance to get the biggest win of his WWF career by defeating the Bladewolf and taking the title away from him."

"I've watched the Bladewolf ever since he came to the WWF back in 1997, he's one great talented man, I met him backstage at the Royal Rumble, the night he returned after 17 months out of action." Heyman said. "Eddie's gonna have to use all his talent and skill in that ring to take that 7ft monster down and take the title away from him.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

'Oh, ah, ah, ah, ah! Get up, come on get down with the sickness!'

Down with the Sickness plays to a huge pop from the crowd as the Bladewolf walks out with the Intercontinental Championship around his waist. He makes his way down the ramp, his eyes on the man in the ring. He climbs onto the ring apron, enters through the middle rope and takes off his coat, then hands his title to the referee as his theme dies down.

The referee holds the title up to show everyone that it is on the line, gives it to someone at ringside before he calls for the bell.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

The two men circle one another before Bladewolf lunges forward but Guerrero uses his size and agility to avoid it and mocks Bladewolf who just looks bored with this as he tries grabbing him, but Guerrero keeps avoiding him.

"Eddie Guerrero using great strategy there, not allowing himself to be grabbed." JR said.

"If he does then he's screwed, JR." Heyman shrugs.

Guerrero lands a kick to the right knee of Bladewolf who quickly lunges forward and clobbers Guerrero, knocking him down. Bladewolf grabs Guerrero from behind and hits a German Suplex across the ring, nearly sending Latino Heat out of the ring but he stays in.

"Nice German Suplex." Heyman complimented.

"Bladewolf now looking to asset his domiance." JR stated.

Bladewolf walks towards Guerrero who groans before he was picked up and Irish whipped across the ring, Bladewolf going for a turnbuckle clothesline but Guerrero moved out the way then clobbers Bladewolf a few times in the face and stomps away on him in the corner before he quickly backs off as Bladewolf shakes off the attack and glares at Guerrero.

The two lock up, the size seen clear between both men, Guerrero punches Bladewolf in the gut, causing Bladewolf to slide around and grab him from behind but Guerrero just begins elbowing Bladewolf in the ribs multiple time until the Intercontinental Champion lets him go. Guerrero runs forward, rebounds off the ropes and comes at Bladewolf who hits a leapfrog to the surprise of many, turns around in time to do a hip toss on Guerrero, going for the pin but Guerrero kicks out at two.

"That was some nice athleticism by Bladewolf." JR said.

"The guy's got great talent that he uses to his advantage, same as the Jackal." Heyman said. "They will have to use all they have at WrestleMania when they clash."

Bladewolf goes to work on the left arm of Guerrero, stomping and dropping a knee onto it, but Guerrero uses his skill and agility to kick up onto his feet only to be nailed with a clothesline from the Champion. Bladewolf locks in a headlock on Guerrero, trying to wear him out but Guerrero fights back and gets to his feet, throwing lefts and rights at Bladewolf before he rebounds off the ropes and nails a dropkick in the chest of Bladewolf, sending him down.

"Oof! What a dropkick!" JR said.

Bladewolf takes Guerrero down with another clothesline then picks him up and hits a Belly-to-Belly suplex across the ring. Bladewolf runs a hand through his hair before he gets to his feet and walks over, grabbing Guerrero by the throat and pulls him to his feet and lifts him up for a Chokeslam...BUT GUERRERO HITS A DDT OUT OF NOWHERE!

"What a counter!" JR exclaims.

"Right into a DDT!" Heyman adds. "Guerrero used the momentum to turn the Chokeslam attempt into a DDT!"

Guerrero goes for the cover but Bladewolf kicks out at two. Guerrero gets to his feet and goes up to the top rope before he jumps off...AND HITS THE FROG SPLASH! GUERRERO HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THRE-! BLADEWOLF KICKS OUT!

"Close! That was close, JR!" Heyman said.

"It was." JR nods.

Guerrero looked upset with that before he gets to his feet and stomps away on Bladewolf a few more times then he goes back up to the top rope...AND LEAPS OFF FOR THE- BLADEWOLF POPS UP AND CATCHES HIM!

"Bladewolf caught him!" JR excaims.

"Hoe the hell did...?" Heyman gaped.

Bladewolf gets Guerrero in front of him, upside down...THEN NAILS THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! HE HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THREE! BLADEWOLF RETAINS THE TITLE!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Down with the Sickness hits as Bladewolf rolls out the ring, leaping against the ring apron as the referee runs around to hand him his title. Bladewolf places it over his shoulder and looks back at Guerrero in the ring, impressed with the guy. Bladewolf smirks before he begins making his way back up the ramp to the back.

"That was a great match, even though it was not a very lomg one, it was still great for a first time match between these two." Heyman said.

"I have to agree with you there, Paul." JR nods.

In footage taped earlier in the day, Al Snow campaigned for the commissioner's job.

Joining him were two midgets, as he had promised he would provide if he became commissioner!

As Matt and Jeff Hardy discussed what they were going to do in their match later, Lita came up to the boys and said she was heading to the ring for her title match against Ivory. Matt said they weren't letting her go to the ring alone, and he convinced Jeff to go with him and Lita for her match. During the match, the Hardyz mixed it up with Steven and Val, and as Jeff Hardy went to hit Val, he accidentally took out Lita! Ivory then dragged Lita back in the ring, where she made the pin to retain her title!

As Kurt Angle prepared for his match, Kevin Kelly asked him why he went off on Scotty 2 Hotty. Angle said he heard a snap when he grabbed Scotty's ankle, and he was sure it was broken. Kurt said that he was sending a message, and that was that he was not going to be everyone's whipping boy! Angle said that The Rock, Stone Cold, and even Triple H had better watch out, because he wasn't going to take it anymore!

In a hellacious tag team match, Undertaker and Kane took on Haku and Rikishi. The battle began on the rampway, where the Dead Man and Kane met Rikishi and Haku. Finally, the match began when Undertaker and Haku made their way into the ring. Taker remained in the ring until the end of the match, where he pinned Haku after a chokeslam!

In the parking area, Trish Stratus pulled in (she wasn't in a limo, and she was driving herself), and Michael Cole asked her how she felt after last week's near humiliation. Trish said she had a few things she wanted to get off her chest, and she was going to be doing it in the ring. Immediately, she walked out to the ring to set the record straight about what happened to her on RAW last week when Vince and Stephanie McMahon tried to embarrass her. Trish said she wanted Vince to come to the ring because there was something she wanted to say to his face!

Mr. McMahon came out to the ring, and he told Trish that she needed to realize exactly who was standing in front of her. He said he didn't care what she had to say to him, hell he's considering just firing her as payback for what Bladewolf did to him and to Stephanie. Trish pleads with him not to and Vince smirks as he says he will not fire her if she is sorry for leaving with Bladewolf. He told her she had to get on her hands and knees like a dog! And Trish got down and crawled around! Vince then told her to bark like a dog! And she did! Vince said that if she were really sorry, she would take her clothes off! She began taking off her jacket and her shirt, and Vince told her that wasn't good enough, because he wanted to know what color panties she was wearing!

Trish took off her skirt to reveal a black thong! Vince told her that she still wasn't sorry enough and he told her to take off her bra!

Before she could...

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

'Oh, ah, ah, ah, ah! Get up, come on get down with the sickness!'

Down with the Sickness plays to a huge pop from the crowd as the Bladewolf walks out with the Intercontinental Championship around his waist. He makes his way down the ramp, his eyes on Vince.

"This is not going to be pretty." JR said. "For Vince."

Bladewolf gets into the ring and stands in between Vince and Trish, taking his coat off and giving it to Trish to cover herself up. Bladewolf shakes his head at Vince who was shouting at him to leave...BUT BLADEWOLF GRABS HIM BY THE THROAT! Bladewolf lifts Vinc eup...AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM!

Bladewolf's theme plays as Bladewolf glares down at the boss before he walks over to Trish. "You alright?" he asked her with concern, the camera picking up his words.

Trish nodded before she surprised everyone, including Bladewolf, when she pulled him into a heated, passionate kiss that he responded to after a couple of seconds of surprise, pulling her close to him. Trish broke the kiss and smirked at him before she carefully got out the ring, keeping his coat around her and heads back up the ramp with Bladewolf watching her go.

"How does he get all the good stuff?" Heyman asked, getting a chuckle from Bladewolf.

Bladewolf raises his arms to cheers from the fans before he leaves the ring and heads up the ramp.

Off screen

"Okay, I really wasn't expecting the kiss." George said when he met up with Trish, who was now in regular clothing.

"Speaking of, what was with it?" Trish asked as she frowned at him.

"What? You were the one who kissed me and it wasn't in the script." George said as he crossed his arms, frowning back at her.

"Yeah, it was mostly for fun and... look, I've been kissed enough times over my life to know when a kiss means something and when one is fake." Trish said, giving him a look. "And when you replied to the kiss, it felt very much real and genuine. "Do you feel the same way about me as I have come to feel about you?"

George stared at her, unable to answer.

"You are the only thing on my mind most of the time " Trish continued. "When I go to sleep, you are the last thing i think about, when I wake up you are the first thing I think about. it's been happening a lot as we hang out after the shows. Just...tell me how you feel about me, next week, okay?"

With that she walks away, leaving George there, thinking about a lot...

Seems George likes Trish a LOT and who can blame him really?
