ICE CAP ZONE
A horde of parademons swarmed down at our heroes looking for nothing but blood, The Avengers and The Freedom Fighters were confused by this, but The Justice League were all too familiar with this threat and their master.
SHADOW: What the hell is this?
TAILS: What's happening?
BLACK WIDOW: I don't know but we got company!
THOR: By Odin's beard!
WONDER WOMAN: Parademons!
GREEN LANTERN: We're too late, he opened the Motherbox.
BATMAN: He's here.
ROUGE: Who?
CYBORG: Darkseid.
TAILS: Darkseid? Who's that?
GREEN LANTERN: The ruler of the planet Apokolips, A New God and an immediate threat to the universe. He seeks to conquer all and to harness the ultimate power known as the Anti Life Equation. With it, you could reshape the universe to your liking and become omnipotent.
SHADOW: If he is that big of a threat, I can see why you all didn't want Lex to open that Motherbox.
HULK: HULK SMASH GIANT FLYING BUGS!
CAPTAIN AMERICA: We have to hold the line people. Don't let a single one of them leave the Ice Cap Zone.
KNUCKLES: Let's bash their heads in!
OMEGA: COMMENCING TERMINATION OF PARADEMONS!
Hulk launched himself into the air and grabbed a Parademon and tore it in half, then two more charged right toward him but he took them out with ease. Omega unleashed a barrage of bullets and missiles at the flying monsters, one tried to sneak up on him but he saw this coming and grabbed it by the neck and broke it. Black Widow shot them in their heads, killing them, while Rouge was using her spin kick to take them out. Cap threw his shield at them and proceeded to beat them to a pulp. Shadow used chaos spear to kill them instantly, he then proceeded to chaos control behind a group of them and used his special attack.
SHADOW: CHAOS BLAST!
A massive explosion took them out and Shadow stood on one knee panting, he was exhausted.
Meanwhile back at the tower, Lex and his team stood in awe of what's happening, just like the heroes.
DOOM: Lex, you better have a legitimate explanation for this!
LEX: W-what's happening?
EGGMAN: WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHAT'S HAPPENING? YOU OPENED THE MOTHERBOX WHICH IN TURN, OPENED A PORTAL IN THE SKY!
LEX: I don't remember any of that.
SONIC: What's the last thing you remember?
LEX: Using the generator to merge our worlds together, after that my mind went blank.
IRON MAN: He must've used some sort of hypnotic device to control your mind.
SUPERMAN: That explains why Lex was so keen on opening it, because I know Lex wouldn't want Darkseid to return to earth and take it over.
EGGMAN: Well, what now?
IRON MAN: We have to send him back.
DOOM: And how do you propose we do that Stark?
IRON MAN: Still working that one out.
LEX: I have a way, we use the Motherbox.
SONIC: Isn't that what got us in this mess?
LEX: Yes, but I can reprogram it to make an inter dimensional prison to seal Darkseid in forever.
EGGMAN: Could that work?
LEX: Yes but I can't do it alone.
SONIC: We'll buy you some time.
IRON MAN: I'll help you reprogram the Motherbox, I'll also get Tails to help out to.
DOOM: Very well. We will help you heroes stop this, but after that, it's back to business as usual.
SONIC: I couldn't agree more.
Just then Iron Man got a massive energy reading in his armour.
IRON MAN: Wait, there is a giant energy reading coming through that portal.
SUPERMAN: It's his mothership. He's here.
Superman then flew away with Sonic trailing close behind, they landed on the battlefield only to see a giant mothership enter through the portal.
SONIC: It's huge.
EGGMAN: That's bigger than my entire Egg Fleet.
Then a beam of light shined through the bottom of the ship making its way to the ground. Then through the light, Darkseid was floating down from the bottom of the ship making his way to the ground. He landed down on the ground and then proceeded to speak while making his way closer to the two heroes.
DARKSEID: Let it be known Kal-el, that everything that happens beyond this point, is on your hands. The skies will rain fire, and the streets of this planet will run red with blood. Then, once you see your home burn to ash, will I give you the sweet release of death.
Darkseid's eyes then glowed with red fire.
DARKSEID: Let's go.
The battle against Darkseid and the battle for the planet's freedom has only just begun.
